The pressure of his lips disappeared from his own. Rika was frozen in place, his brain running even faster than it usually did, somehow, trying to understand what had just happened and why he was reacting the way he did.

His heart was drumming at an alarming rate in his chest, not out of fear or disgust or even a desire to get out as fast as possible. No. Somehow, Rika was happy about what had happened. He wanted more, needed more. His brain was still running but the more it did, the less he could understand why. He was frozen solid, resisting with all his ability the urge to chase the warmth of the lips that had just left his own.

A hand, large but not rough, smelling slightly of chalk, brushed some strands of hair out of his face then stopped there, resting on his cheek with such gentleness that Rika could feel how treasured he was. His breath caught in his throat, not daring to move, fearing to ruin the moment.

“Rika-kun,” the other said, trailing his fingers on the side of Rika's face, making him shiver, “how does it feel?” He brought his face closer, back bent slightly, as he was so much taller. His breath tickled Rika's mouth as he spoke again. “How does it feel to kiss your god?”

“Good,” he breathed in answer before he could stop himself. Yet he wondered if he even could have stopped himself. His whole body screamed for more.

Aikawa's hand trailed down, sliding from his cheek to his jaw. His thumb traced Rika's lower lip, opening it lightly. Rika wondered if the man - his master, his god - could feel his pulse. He felt like he might combust from this touch, like his heart would burst any second. He forced himself not to move.

“Interesting,” said Aikawa lowly. “I wonder if this is an effect of the Apostle program.”

Rika was pretty sure that it was. He was convinced otherwise he wouldn't have liked kissing that man, whose ideals he despised, neither would he have wanted more. Yet, as soon as he formed these thoughts, he forgot them. He couldn't think of not having wanted his god, not agreeing with his ideals, not wanting to serve him to the best of his ability.

Aikawa was right in front of him, hand still on him. He looked at him with interest and affection, like one would look at a successful experiment.

And Rika knew that, no matter what Aikawa wanted to try, Rika would do.

I joke a lot about how the villains don’t give single fuck about Yuri (aka the protag) and just focus on Rika instead but for real they’re the only ones that have never let Rika go. (see my previous post on Rika’s abandonment issues, this is a follow up thought about it)

Aikawa and his wanting to eradicate weak humans? He wanted Rika as his strongest fighter and, even when Rika was useless because passed out or because the brainwashing turned his brain to jelly, he didn’t leave him. He took care of him and told his soldiers to do it too. He killed in cold-blood anyone that appeared weak before but he kept jelly brained Rika right by his side. His final act? Giving Rika his free will back despite the way he could very much have done not that and kept his ideology alive just like he initially intended.

Juo? Oh god Juo. Juo lived and went on solely fueled by his desire to see Rika again. He stalked him to the end and called him just to tell him “hello you’re a good dude and super strong and I can’t stop thinking about you and want to see you again and nothing will stop me until i see you” and i’m repeating myself because they’re my favorite subject but the whole mask deal. Juo wants Rika by his side (and/or at his feet), he wants to fight with him again and chose to get the code so he could maybe stop Yuri from ending the world and get another chance with Rika. Juo was this close to throwing away everything he believed in and everything he was just so he could talk with Rika again. He didn’t but still, his final thoughts were dedicated to him.

Yes both of them harmed Rika and their obsession with him is unhealthy but they never let him go and I think it’s pretty ironic that the only persons that didn’t abandon him at some point were the villains

Can't believe my brain blessed me enough to dream about Oihina, Iwaoi and Rikaikawa simultaneously.

It was like, Hinata and Oikawa, dating, were new to this town and went grocery shopping, and the cashier was dating Iwaizumi so inevitably iwa-chan and Oikawa met again and Oikawa is smad bc iwa-chan never told him that 1 he was dating someone seriously enough for them to live together and 2 that he lived in this town now. So iwaizumi was like *shrugs* and so they went for drinks to catch up and then the wonderful adventure of iwaoihina (plus the random cashier that had neither name nor face, which is sad cause he was a sweetheart) began. Remember when I said I didn't ship iwaoihina yet? That has now changed.

2 dreams in one:

1) some sort of family reunion, but like really extended family, I didn't know half the people there. It was all fun and games (not at all) but then my aunt started talking about my future to other people and boom anxiety. Then some kind of widespread game began? There were dolls and questions, you were assigned someone and you had to get the microchip in their doll and answer a bunch of random questions. The one who finished first won. I was assigned this guy I knew in the dream but can't recall now. His doll was some mix between a furby and R2-D2.

Statistical info: agender, i don't remember the name they called me but most likely legal one.

2) Rikaikawa dream 🥺 it was both sweet and creepy, Aikawa was whipped but also yandere-ish. I don't remember much but people around them were all "??" because their relationship seemed weird. In a part I remember they were sitting at a table in public, some place to eat. I'm not quite sure it was regular Rika or Apostle Rika but I'm leaning more for Apostle.

A ship I’d like to see explored but not stick around: To be honest, it'd be Rikaikawa. Love the Rika Harem but also Aikawa is a whole nother level of fucked up and if their relationship would def be super interesting to develop, an endgame Aikawa/Rika (not that it could happen either way since :') well, Admin happened) wouldn't be satisfying ship (to me at the very least) like. it'd be delightful in a tragic kind of way if Apostle program still on but if no program AND endgame ship, I don't think that could 1) be possible considering Rika and 2) be good story-wise. I ended up ranting whoops
