im also halfway through the last flight and plan to read tevinter nights next. and maybe look for the comics online too. you could say my dragon age brain rot is at its highest since 2014 right now

Icha! Thoughts on the possible Netflix Dragon Age Adaptation??? Details are more or less non-existant right now but 👀

... a what??? a what a what a w h at???

i'm not too hot about 1:1 adaptation of the games and especially from Netflix dkfjdlkf but if they do like the saga already did before re: just series set in the dragon age universe, i'd love it?

Like, we got the webseries, Redemption, with Felicia Day, centering Talis (and also kinda am sure this is the incident that woke up Fen'Harel and it makes playing through da2 again so funny), we got the Japanese animated movie with Legend of the Seeker about Cassandra's past that gets summed up in dai anyway (and that dared to have me hear Gackt again in a video game adaptation) and i think i'm missing something (im not going to count the Awakening oav it was ways too convoluted and weird DLKFJDf like it was supposed to explain Kristoff's death but it was. so weird. and didn't bring much more to the plot of awakening)

And we got the numerous comics and books that are harder to get by for people that, otherwise, would be good to adapt? Like i think i'll be thrilled with an adaptation of Masked Empire or Asunder or The Calling. Or hell, even Tevinter Nights since it was a blast to read and will be a good promo for da4. That, or any of the comics, especially those sets between dai and da4!

The problem i have is that i don't really trust Netflix to go with adapting any of those and i feel that if they adapt the main games, i'd... be a bit upset? The magic of those games are the way the choices change the story and it would be a shame to change that.

If they adapt the books though i'd be thrilled!! Because they aren't easy to get by and then we end up having those super awkward summaries in dai about them because they're plot relevant djkfhdjl it'd be neat to be able to point at an easily accessible tv show. (i say as if we weren't like 10 people to have watched the webseries only)

But otherwise, i'd love if they are doing their own show set in the DA universe. There is so many stories to develop, they can make any of the previous character cameo if they want, that'd be so fun!

I just wouldn't want a story focusing on the Warden or Hawke or the Inquisitor because i think that'd ruin the charm a little dkjhfdjlk. but litterally anyone else? would love to see it

but that's such a specific rumor :o i don't know if i'd trust it, but we'll see where that goes :o
