😂😆I was trying to figure out why in my ficlets I’ll have Rick at the store all the time…

I think in my mind, Rick handles most of the mid-week errands for their family. Head canon is that he looks back on the time when Carl was younger and wishes that he’d been more involved in so many ways.

I’d say little things, like knowing his kids favorite snacks would be so special to him because it was something he didn’t pay as much attention to and it’s such an easy way to show them he cares.

And some woman (or Jessie in this scenario but homegirl clearly couldn't take a hint) wants to get to know Rick better but his son keeps running up to tell Rick about how Judith just took her first steps to Michonne.
