Mute Witness will be released on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray on June 11 via Arrow Video. The 1995 horror-thriller features reversible artwork with the original poster and new art by Adam Rabalais.

Anthony Waller (An American Werewolf in Paris) writes and directs. Alec Guinness, Marina Zudina, Fay Ripley, Evan Richards, and Oleg Yankovsky star.

Mute Witness has been newly restored in 4K, approved by Waller, wih original lossless stereo audio. A double-sided poster and booklet are included.

Danny Heller's "Wonderland."

Currently on view at George Billis Gallery in Los Angeles, California until November 12th, 2022 is artist Danny Heller's solo exhibition, "Wonderland."

In these paintings, Heller covers monumental and lesser-known works starting with Frank Lloyd Wright and tracing his design principles through his son Lloyd Wright, and students Richard Neutra, Rudolph Schindler, and John Lautner.  Heller uses his refined artist’s eye and virtuosic ability with oil paint to emphasize the groundbreaking hard-edged geometries used in these designs.  Light and shadow play off the structures - creating new geometries - which further emphasize these architects’ outside-the-box thinking.

Ace was spending his day off at the museum. He tried to go at least twice per month, but because this was his birthday month, he had treated himself to multiple museum trips. This was the last week of Hunter Potter’s exhibit at the Richard Heller Gallery, so he figured he should go to see it at least once. However, once he got there, he was underwhelmed. As he looked at the piece entitled “Is This Love?”, he heard someone approach. Specifically, he heard a thumping bass. Figuring it couldn’t hurt to make small talk, he turned to the stranger and asked, “So, uh, what do you think of this exhibit?”

DEBUTING AT TCAF 2019: Salinas By Jenny Ziomek

On a solo road trip up the California coast, Stella discovers a mysterious book that seems to be about her – but one hundred years earlier. As Stella drives, we move between three narratives: her troubled, yet beautiful, road trip up the coast, flashbacks of her recent past and the events that have led her here, and the parallel story of Alice, a farmer from 1925 who hears music in her garden.

Jenny Ziomek is a painter, writer and illustrator. This year, one of her illustrations was selected by the Society of Illustrators at the Museum of Illustration in NYC for their annual juried show and publication. Ziomek completed her MFA at Claremont Graduate University in 2016. For her thesis project she created a graphic novel in the form of a limited edition artist book. The book, When I’m With You, was sold at Printed Matter’s 2017 LA, NY, and SF Art Book Fairs with Vacancy Projects, the Rare and Art Book Annex at the Last Bookstore in Los Angeles, the 2017 LA Zine Fest, the 2018 LA Zine and Art Book Bazaar, and was purchased by the Scripps College Artist Book collection. Ziomek’s tiny paintings of women doing everyday acts in private have been shown at Proxy Gallery in Culver City, Richard Heller Gallery in Santa Monica and at a pop-up art show in the Museum of Broken Relationships in Los Angeles. Ziomek teaches at Los Angeles County Museum of Art and lives in Silverlake.
