so. um. the good news is we found your boyfriend. the bad news is that, well, we sort of…dug him up…in the middle of a car park. in leicester (buckley et al. 2013). leicester, yeah. sorry. they demolished the friary he was hastily interred in when henry viii dissolved all the monasteries. you know how it is. and as it turns out, well, shakespeare was…sort of right about him. scoliosis, yeah, sorry (appleby et al. 2014). if it makes you feel any better we analysed his bones and it turns out he had a pretty high-protein diet before he died (lamb et al. 2014). and he drank so much wine that it changed their chemical composition, which we didn't know could actually happen before we analysed him (lamb et al. 2014), so he was having a good time, at least.

Richard III starring Danai Gurira as the title character is now available to watch for free on the PBS website! Beware though, it will only be available a few weeks. Been wanting to watch forever and I'm so glad I finally can!

it’s really easy to become obsessed with a shakespeare play you just have to watch one version of it and then read the play and then go mad trying to watch every possible version of it you can find and then study several centuries worth of performance history and controversy

If there is love enough, then nothing - not nature, not even death itself - can come between two who love each other. The SONS OF YORK will destroy each other, one brother destroying another, uncles devouring nephews, fathers beheading sons. THE WHITE QUEEN (2013)

Inspired by this post by @bunniesandbeheadings , a list of explanations for what happened to the Princes in the Tower:
They both fell down the stairs.
They murdered EACH OTHER.
Everyone who has been accused of murdering them turned up to murder them at the same time, only to find they had died of natural causes already, so they all backed out of the room without saying anything.
They escaped out of the window by tying bedsheets together.
They were murdered by George Duke of Clarence's ghost.
Aliens.
Autocannibalism.
Spontaneous human combustion.
The plot of season one of Blackadder is 100% factually accurate.
They were eaten by wolves.
A surge of improbability caused them both to turn into bowls of petunias.
They became companions of the Doctor and ended up settling down on a planet three galaxies away.
They are both still alive TO THIS DAY.
