ooh, they're a little tragic. i dont like their built up romance, but i like that them and kate got scenes talking about how they feel about doing all this. the fact they leave cecil, but rex still views him doing all this as the only thing giving him worth. just like how kate seems to have a sunk cost fallacy mentality abt working, she's already died so much so if she quit apparently all those deaths would be meaningless, rex just thinks he can't have better, rae wants more.
