Clone Taurtis - Tokyo Soul ep. 18

Does anyone remeber when Taurtis went through and entire thing of where Taurtis went throguh the entire Taurtis-Clone type thing?

I am rewatching the whole series again and kinda got thinking on where he was going throguh his entire like 'Am I the real one?' Ya know? Because Sam and pretty much everyone else was convincing him he wasn't and I was just wondering on how that must have been for him ngl,, the idea of not being the original (when he is) must be soo scary to look at because the clones have the same memories, and when he tried to prove himself to be real (before he went and got a different blood sample and stole Mr. SnuggleMuffin) he was denied.

I personally like to think that he was actually convincing himself that he was a clone. Slowly. And over time kinda just always felt like he wasn't himself, as if he was missing some sort of being inside of him. Like through all the turmoil and confusion, after everything happens with the clones he just doesn't feel right, as if he were an actual clone and not his own person.

Sorry if this is repetitive, I may expand more when I am not distracted,, but as of writing this I am in school, drawing Sam, Grian and Taurtis xP bc yhs brainrot is being revived <3

For now, I'll just be posting the idea of where everybody wakes up in-universe. Maybe start a fic for the fun of it? Anyways,

Grian wakes up in a burning building. It's a mess of him scrambling out of some random apartment and onto the street without enough time to even have shoes on, left to look at the flames in bewilderment. Where on earth is he? After a moment of looking around, noticing familiar parasols and a coastline, his stomach drops.

Mumbo wakes up in.... his. His house? Is this supposed to be his house? Someone calls him for breakfast and he is baffled to find people he has never met before in a house he has never seen. The woman at the stove is cheery and calls him sweet names in a way a mother would a son. She reminds him he'll be late for class and when he scrambles for a way to tell her he has no idea what's going on he's reminded that he apparently has a university course. Uh... may as well go to school, I guess.

Impulse wakes up in the softest bed hes ever slept in. The black sheets smooth and warm, mattress plush. A fireplace crackles and the floor is black marble, morning light cascading like a story, picture perfect through the windows behind him. It felt like a fairy tale... before he notices the gun under his pillow. And the sharp rings on his fingers. And the belt of knives on the nightstand. And where is he? What happened?

Scar wakes up cold, soaking wet, in a dark old warehouse. At first he thinks of one of the old warehouses he worked to convert, but the smell of smog is too thick for this to be near boatem or... anywhere, in hermitcraft. He can't move, ropes grating against his skin. He's tied to a metal post. What is going on? When hushed voices come up to the door his stomach sinks at their tone. He has a feeling he's going to miss his armor.

Pearl wakes up with the taste of dirt in her mouth. The birds around her chirp early, the sun barely risen and the ground covered in dew. Someone her age calls out to her, says she's been out all night. The white picket fence and the cute blonde girl saying her name is, confusing, but she can only guess she fell asleep in her backyard. Deep breath, go with the flow, find the others. The girl mentions something about work after class. They have a class? No- just her. Pearl has a job...? What job?

like holy fucking hell the ending of tokyo soul season 1 makes me feel just as empty as their universe is but in a way that i cannot even begin to put into words and i love it I LOVE IT SO MUCH IT'S so painful. when finding out the original taurtis is dead? FUCKING SCREAMED CRIED i'm very sane about this god forsaken minecraft roleplay series it's too good it's too GOOD! i have voice notes of me sobbing over yhs/ts at MULTIPLE POINTS in the story i may like to pretend that tokyo soul season 2 (and the taurtis dead plotline) never happened but it's still such a good story and and i iiie i IUEHhhahhhhHHH

also on another note are episodes of tokyo soul season 2 just... gone.... where did they go i'm rewatching rn WHERE DID THEY GO....... WHAT HAPPENED.... LIKE THERE'S EPISODE 5 THEN STRAIGHT TO 7 AND 8 AND THEN 11 ??!?!?!! why did the episodes disappear...

Yhs is one of those things I loved even if I barely remember it.

I watched Tokyo Soul too but I don't think I ever watched the ending.

It was absolutely fun to watch but sometimes it was just so slow. I left the series multiple times just so I could skip around multiple episodes.

The things I remembered (even before these posts) were...

Grian eating Salem but I thought it was a fanfic I read because I wasn't rewatching and I couldn't find anything saying it happened.

Pufferfish dad hating his daughters frog boyfriend? Idk but he is the one who gave the pufferfish to Taurtis.

Oh God the prequel just popped in my brain. Grain was abandoned in Japan by his parents. Man.

Yuki being the yandere and sam just not giving a shit and dating her despite her being a yakuza's daughter.

I think they were cops for a hot minute.

Aphmau was in it. I don't remember why but ??? Aphmau? Really not what I ever thought but okay.

Clones. Just clones existing.

One of the teachers being the best while every other teacher sucked badly. From incompetent to fucking creepy.

I want to know why Sam was my favorite character? His dad was more interesting and I barely remember that character.

Taurtis and Grian dated I swear. I think it was Tokyo soul and just cute but now I can't help but be like dude.

Grian and Ellen were a great couple too. I miss them.

Don was always one of the coolest characters.

I think Grian was always forced to eat weird shit like a girl and plastic.

There are more like at the tip of my brain. Which is worse than just 100% forgetting it.

Wait. Didnt sam have a teddy bear he was so weird? about.

Sam was a weird character. He and Yuki deserved each other.

Ummm things that i can confirm -- yeah they dressed up at cops for a bit. I cant remember why atm tho. Also Grian and Taurtis had gay sex every tuesday and also frequently argued over who would be the little spoon (i believe a man was killed over this,,,,,), and YEAH Sam's teddy bear features a bit in the first episodes (he gets made fun of for showing it in show and tell and then Teacher Gareth gives him ten bucks out of pity) but i dont know about the later episodes
