I am happy to announce that my several weeks of being busy with various things are now over. I just got back from a destination wedding in Hawaii and that was the last thing on my list. So now I will be getting back to my usual TMNT nonsense. And, even from Hawaii, turtles still find me. I was at a Japanese store and I found this Revoltech Donatello. This is a toy line that was only released in Japan, to my knowledge. They have a buttload of articulation to them. I saw him in a display case , just the figure. No extras. I took him home with me and have been having fun posing him.

9) If you could change one thing about TMNT, what would it be?

Oooo that's hard.... Depends on the iteration 😂 in general I wish the consequences of the shit they go through were more prominent. I think that's a common thing with like, all media admittedly, but things like 2012!Leo's knee could've easily affected the rest of the show, like I saw a post about how his fighting style could've shifted to accommodate the injury and I think that's a great idea. Like, 2003!Leo's (sorry buddy your life mega sucks) depression arc was great because it lasted so long and had such an impact on the entire show going forward.

It's just little things, you know? Like, Good Genes, I wish 03!Don had some long-lasting changes from that. Or if they all gained scars as the shows went on (03!Leo's broken shell my beloved). Obviously I am a big proponent of the Raph mind control arc being a bigger deal LMAO.

Also. I wish they had tails.

10) How much tmnt merch do you own?

Hehehehe... A LOT considering I only started collecting after Mutant Mayhem came out jdjdhhdjdgd. Right now I'm wearing one of my 5 TMNT shirts, I have the director's edition of the Last Ronin, I just got the Last Ronin: Lost Years (still reading it), I have three TMNT and Batman comics, the TMNT 2012 art book, AND I have my guys

Some artwork on the walls as you can see lol. I also have a 2012 Mikey Turflytle figure that's missing a bunch of pieces, so I'm going to repaint him and put him up with the others eventually.

What can I say, I'm a collector.... I'm trying to scale back a bit, lmao, gotta give my wife SOMETHING to get me for Christmas, but what I want most are the 90s movie NECA turtles, the Revoltech 2012 figures, and the TMNT ultimate visual history coming out next year 🥺

22) Have you watched/read any of the iterations more than once?

The movie is an obvious one lol, I've seen mutant mayhem like a dozen times. Also the Rise movie I've rewatched a bunch. The shows, I haven't yet rewatched them beginning to end, I tend to jump around to my favorite episodes or arcs, but I've watched a good portion of ROTTMNT and 2012 several times.

24) Roast your favorite character (affectionate)

I love 2012 Raph so much. I also feel like he would listen to falling in reverse unironically. The 2012 boys were born one year before me and I'm JUST SAYING.... I think Raph is the most likely to have been part of my little emo friend group. You listen to 'voices in my head' and tell me 15-year-old Raph wouldn't be listening like 'this is so deep he totally gets it.' Also I SAW THOSE FISHNET GLOVES, BOY. YOU CAN'T HIDE FROM ME.

mike and leo came in today!!!! i dont think its super obvious theyre fakes when looking at them but it certainly is when handling them dishxox their joints are much looser and i had to fix the orientation of some of leo's, plus his forearms were on backwards ckdhco their paint apps arent as clean also but like 🤷🏻‍♂️ obviously. but!! the boys are all here now so :)))
