I swear, Ronin is the equivalent of "why are we here...? Just to suffer??" In the B.E.N.T. au while his other dimension brothers are causing chaos. Somehow, Ronin is still the youngest, but he also feels like the oldest wrangling a bunch of kindergarteners and trying to make sure they don't set the place on fire. That guy is a walking existential crisis

Meemaw Dream is a reference to Muriel from courage the cowardly dog. That shit was my favorite show to watch as a kid, I especially loved the King Ramses’ Curse episode, yet I see some of ya’ll get scared from that as a kid 😭 (not judging <3333)

Anyways Oracle AU Submas (Oraclemas?).

Ingo and Emmet have the ability to divine the future, with one issue. Ingo can see the timeline of fate, Emmet can see the events to unfold, and neither can see what the other does. Ingo doesn't know whether what is to come is good or bad, and Emmet can only see events out of order.

They are able to bypass this by holding hands and using full concentration (aka co-divination) to see the full future, however they usually just use their individual visions and piece them together. Co-divination is reserved for either actual fortune-telling services or to investigate a vision either one feels may be concerning.

anyways other fun notes:

Ingo's ability to know when things happen but not what they are make him patient and paranoid. There have been instances where he predicts an event and prepares for danger, then when it actually arrives it turns out to be something perfectly fine (eg. a surprise birthday party)

Emmet's knowledge of future events stresses him out, he gets wrinkles and creases much faster than Ingo, and essentially ages earlier

The twins often used these abilities to aid them in battle growing up, which later led to them pursuing the skill further until they developed their own sense for battle

Besides working as Subway Bosses, they sometimes operate as fortune tellers for those who request their help

They have seen a whole scope of different events, good and bad, and are generally used to talking about any kind of scenario. Some people interpret their lack of reactions to mean that they don't care about the future, but that is not the case

There are anomalies in their visions, certain periods or events don't make any sense to them and they can't make them out clearly

yk i kinda wish miss chatham was in the later seasons still. like imagine if we got an episode of them visiting the retirement home

i can see it now. they lose miss chatham somehow while in there, and then end up on their own side adventures

lewis is acting like he's found his people and he's invited to the next bingo meet by a gladys. or multiple gladys's. while on the opposite end of the spectrum, rikki gets into a fight/rivalry with some old lady

and cleo and emma end up being wrangled into helping one of the seniors, only for emma to end up transforming into a mermaid and for the senior that they were helping, to see it

and then because for whatever reason this came to mind, it turns out said senior is julia's ex karl, who apparently lives at the same retirement home as miss chatham

he almost gets his camera out for old times sake, because he hasn't changed much since they were teenagers, but then miss chatham gets her tennis racket out

suffice to say. they end up walking out with pocketful of old people candy and also a bunch more lore/info from miss chatham. idk

And Steve, having no connections with anybody in the modern world, spent tons of his free time visiting them and playing poker, sneaking them liquor, and just generally creating a headache for the semi-amused retirement home staff?

And Bucky is the care worker who grows to have a crush on Steve.

I assume Steph never temporarily "dies" in the "keeps the baby AU" but does she ever become Robin? I figure it goes way differently if it does happen cause her relationship with Tim and Bruce is way different but id be interested in knowing what you're thinking about that arc

I have actually been thinking about how I wanna deal with Steph's continued vigilante-ing in this AU, because, like. Ya can't just leave a baby alone. But I also can't see her giving it up completely. For the first few months I think it'd mostly be a lot of "Mom, I'm going out with Tim, can you watch Allie for a few hours?" and she does go out with Tim, just, well, as Spoiler.

For the Robin thing I'd have to re-read that arc properly, which I do not currently have the brainpower to do, but I did go over the wiki, and I'd think there'd just be. Less drama around everything? If Jack finds out Tim's Robin in this AU, I think Tim might suggest Steph to Bruce himself as a replacement. They're more secure in their relationship; Tim revealed his identity himself, he spends a lot of time at the Browns and their parents know each other. He's basically step-parenting her kid, not that he's fully aware of that yet.

I also kinda like the idea of a dual-Robin situation? Like, Steph still wants to be a vigilante but she's also very aware of the dangers that brings with it, much more so now than before she became a mom, and Tim's like, maybe you should go out with Batman and me more, then, not fly solo as much. And she's like, it's Batman and Robin, not Batman and Robin and Spoiler, and he goes I'll put in a good word for you, and from there things just fall into place. Batman and Robin (lucky break) and Robin (picked up from the street). Bruce is ecstatic (not).

And she definitely doesn't die in this AU. For one because War Games sucks, for another because while she is still a teenager and she does still stupid and impulsive shit, she is not risking her life for Batman's approval. As much as she'd maybe want to. Again, there's a baby waiting for her at home.

And those are all my thoughts for now, but feel always free to send me more asks.
