people cant cosplay adam sandler that they're called minor 💀 (tbh adam sandler actually is a way to tell that you are not a minor lol)
let me cosplay middle-aged white men in peace, it's not my fucking fault i look like this wtf 😭😭 im a bit chubby so my cheeks are full and im short and im not 'well endowed' i get it ok😭😭😭😭😭
#in 50 years time anon is gonna look like a raisin while i bask in my youthful glow#i recommend using a retinol to avoid wrinkles also applying sunscreen every 2 hours during the day is very important#the cycle should go exfoliate then moisturize the next night then use retinol the night after#also dont use too much products and let ur skin breath#franswers

You mentioned that less face products are better, so now I’m curious: what do you consider the best, or the must haves that everyone should be using? I find there’s so much out there and it’s overwhelming.
I literally have just started using skin products for the first time ever this year. I don't even wash my face.
But, the important caveat here is that I also don't use skin makeup - I don't use foundation and very rarely use coverup, so there's nothing to wash off. I also live in one of the least sunny places in the world, so UV protection isn't as top of mind. On top of all that, I'm just really lucky genetically; I can count the pimples I've had in my life on one hand and my mom and her mom were the same. So while I do think that, as a general statement, people are putting too much crap on their face, I don't claim to be an expert and fully know that my experience with my skin is very different to most people's.
So with all that said! I have an extremely basic moisturizer and I mix a drop of retinol into that and apply at night. That's the whole face routine. My grandmother was told to do this by her dermatologist 40 years ago and she still looks really good now, into her 80s, so I'm copying her. But another important thing here is that she got a facelift in her 60s - I basically figure I'll have to do the same, but I'm in the camp that there's very little you can do to prevent needing a facelift in your 60s, so why bother?
It's skin people, it's always going to sag and form lines. Being too obsessed with controlling that natural process isn't a good use of brain power.
#i think it goes without saying but just in case: this is not advice for people with actual medical stuff going on with their skin#eg if you acne regularly into your mid 20s you probably want to see a dermatologist#my more general point is that my approach to skin is essentially: it will sag#so there's a balance to be struck#between the amount of effort we put in to slow that process down and the time and money and effort it consumes#for me the retinol+ basic moisturizer combo + maybe some Botox+ a facelift in 30 years is right#even if you do everything right i still believe most people end up in a similar place by 60#and not to ramble but obviously like one of the most important things you can do for your skin is take care off yourself generally#correspondence

actually infuriating that my skin looks the best it ever has now that i not only wash and moisturize it but also use fucking fancy skincare products on it
#certified protectcosette original#'fancy' i have a retinol + niacinamide serum that i got for probably like $6 at ross#and an aloe + niacinamide gel#but yeah i'm very annoyed that i now have evidence that just washing and moisturizing isn't enough. and its not all genetics#(retinoid not retinol. and this is not bc i'm afraid of wrinkles i just have very textured skin from a decade of acne scarring)

skincare is only useful to the extent that it helps manage how bad your acne gets. you don’t need 20 products to slap on your face every night. you might not need any! and probably shouldn’t be using more than like. four. honestly. and probably not all of them everyday… that’s just how it goes! everyone is different but also don’t hurt your skin with a ton of unnecessary products.
#my skin unfortunately needs maintenance. so i have a cleanser & moisturizer. and a couple random things i only really pull out when my skin#is painful. and it needs help clearing up. like benzoyl peroxide or niacinamide#also genuinely you shouldn’t be using too many products at once. not good for your skin barrier!!!!!#also wear sunscreen. please.#many treatments geared towards acne treatment aren’t very good for use every day/long term. also retinol… got prescribed a retinol once and#my skin hated it so bad!!!! also clindamycin. but i had it in a topical alcohol treatment…. which isn’t great for the skin either. lol. my#skin was so mad at me… honestly sometimes the best thing to do is moisturize and leave everything else alone

How to Treat Diabetic Foot At Home?
Dealing with diabetic foot issues at home requires a careful approach to keep complications at bay. Here are some simple, effective steps you can take to manage your foot health.
First, keep your feet clean and dry. Wash them daily with mild soap and lukewarm water, then dry thoroughly, especially between the toes, to prevent infections. Moisturize your feet with foot cream for dry heels to avoid cracks and dryness, but don’t apply the cream between the toes.
Next, inspect your feet regularly for any cuts, blisters, or redness. Diabetic feet can lose sensation, so it’s crucial to look closely to catch issues early. If you spot any problems, treat them promptly. Clean minor cuts with an antiseptic and cover them with a sterile bandage.
Wear well-fitting shoes that protect your feet from pressure and injuries. Avoid walking barefoot, even indoors, to prevent accidental injuries. Choosing breathable, comfortable socks can also make a big difference.
Lastly, manage your diabetes through diet and medication to keep your blood sugar levels stable. High blood sugar can exacerbate foot problems, so maintaining good control is essential.
By following these simple steps, you can effectively manage diabetic foot care at home and maintain your overall foot health.
