General Headcanon - Killua Zoldyck

♥ Killua likes skateboarding late at night or early in the morning when there’s not a lot of people out. There’s something about the quietness that sets his mind at ease. Now, that doesn’t mean Killua’s not alert to what’s going on around him. He definitely is. Killua just enjoys not having to weave around incoming people on sidewalks. Bonus points if it’s somewhat chilly out and he can see his breath when he breathes out. If he’s been skateboarding early in the morning before the sun's out, Killua will take a moment to stop what he’s doing to admire the sun rising before he heads back.

♥ Not the most affectionate or touchy kind of person, but will be immensely appreciative to someone if they ask if they can pat him on the shoulder or if he’s comfortable with a hug. If Killua doesn’t know you that well, then it’s mostly going to be a no, but he won’t be so tense around you as he was before. Now, if he’s familiar with you, then he’ll be fine with a pat on the shoulder or a high five. When it comes to hugs… Maybe wait a while longer for him to like the idea and it’ll have to be behind closed doors.

♥ He wants to try surfing sometime. It looks like a lot of fun when Killua watches other people do it. Well, maybe not falling into the water bit, but it still looks awesome. Killua will more than likely add that to his to do list when it comes to trying out new things.

♥ A complete pro at playing video games. He grew up playing video games with his brother, Milluki, whenever the two weren’t at each other's throats. Killua won’t go easy on any of his friends and he’s quite competitive. He can be a bit of a sore loser when he loses, but will begrudgingly tell you good job before he asks for a rematch. Killua takes great pleasure in seeing someone frustrated at him kicking their butts. He enjoys playing modern games, but he prefers the classics since he grew up with them.

♥ Killua likes to sleep with two or more blankets. It doesn’t matter what the temperature is inside or outside. It gives him comfort and the weight of them gives him a sense of ease. He’s not much for accepting gifts, but if you give him a weighted blanket, he’s using it immediately.

thoughts on sam being a dad?

bc i have a quite a few ideas LOLL

i feel like what ever gender he would have, he’d spoil them rotten

but if he had a girl, oh god he’d be the softest man alive (he is in my mind and yes i’m aware he’s killed before)

i haven’t gotten to szn 11 yet but i saw that gif set with him and that baby girl and i just about sobbed with how gentle he was with her 😭😭(it changed something in me and i don’t even want kids)

but yeah the thought of sam being a dad makes me soft and squishy inside bc he’d do his best not to be like his dad but he would make one of the best dads ever

nah seriously i think he's just the softest sweetest dad ever. if he has kids either this is an alternate universe where he can safely have them OR he totally moves on from hunting, he would never want to be involved in something so dangerous while he has kids and he'd never ever ever want them involved in it either.

like i think he'd do his best to break the cycle of abuse too tbh like. he's so done with that shit. realistically he's maybe too fucking traumatized to be a normal dad but we can ignore that!! he'd seriously be such a soft and committed dad and YEAH HE'S A GIRL DAD and that's just me projecting because i like girl dads better HAHA like i don't even care. actually i do think he'd be an amazing father no matter what gender his kid is, he doesn't care he just loves them so so so much with everything he has like. he would do anything for his child, truly. and i read a fic where he was a boy dad and it fit very well, it was amazing fr.

yeah i love love love the idea of dad!sam. he's the softest and the most encouraging dad ever. he really likes helping his kid(s) learn and adores seeing them grow <33 emotional dad sometimes too hehe like he cries about his kids when they're not around lol he just loves them so much and is so proud of them and i need him so bad

Day 31 - Mutual introductions

Well, I've been gf for one year. After some initial grief, anxiety, and frustration I feel like I've adjusted well. I feel somewhat less sick and have cooked and sampled a bajillion new things I would never have thought to otherwise. KC has been a champ about eating weird, expensive food with me and brushing his teeth before kissing me if he ate some regular pretzels or something at work.

The main thing I miss is convenience. I'm okay at planning ahead, but sometimes I wish I didn't always have to pack food. My kingdom for the ability to buy a terrible sandwich at a drive-through and eat it in the car because I'm already running late.

I know so much about grains and food harvesting/processing practices now. Too much, maybe. Also I have celiac-themed art going to a museum soonish. Much to unpack. 👍🏻
