Propaganda: My FAVE!! Ok so Ryou masks his trauma and pain behind smiles and Seto masks his trauma and pain behind frowns…Seto opening up slowly to Ryou so they can heal together is the most beautiful thing 😭 They’re just lonely, sad boys that think nobody can understand them. Plus they both have obsessive gamer personality, are super smart, and very competitive in their respective games. I love them so much | The fact that Kaiba's type is literally blue eyes / white hair (Kisara + BEWD) and Ryou fits that is so underrated. Also they could be weirdos together. | Wouldn't it be funny if Kaiba fell in love Ryou of all people

Mokuba Seeking, finds himself at the door Of old ‘friends’

Discovers they are as they always were, Open-hearted.

So much so, They seek him out Asking after Him and his heart

Neither of which Seemed safe Since his brother Took off Chasing victory.

A crashing sound Interrupts Their mending

As silence settles They venture out Searching for The source Of such commotion

Only to find His brother returned And an unfamiliar face in tow.

A young woman Fair of face and hair And eyes a fierce blue Descends from A metal ship Into a world That shows On her face As foreign.

A soothing voice Reaches out In the dark “It’s okay”

Auburn hair And green eyes Shine Stepping forward “No harm will come to you.”

Eyes meeting The foreigner too Steps forward Taking in Those around her.

A blonde man, Warm eyed Stands beside The auburn beauty

A man Who resembles Their pharaoh And a woman With blue eyes like her own Are flanked by a man With eyes as brown as his hair

A young boy, Dark haired Stands close by her travel companion Of whom all she knows is “He’s not my Seto.”

Eyes widen At her words.

Seto, yet not Seto, Comes forward “This wasn’t the plan.”

An angry scowl Speaks to more Yet all eyes return To her.

With shaky starts They discover Her name, Kisara And she theirs.

It’s Shizuka again, She learns, Who steps closer With a steadying hand “You’re trembling.”

Then all Are upon her With offers of care And clothing.

Anzu takes off Promises of shirts and skirts As Shizuka remains by her side.

They sit In an opulent room Not unlike the palace Yet it’s filled with Lights and sounds Unfamiliar.

At the flip of a switch Fire comes on Water runs And food is kept In a cold box.

Kisara does not Understand But What she does know Is Shizuka’s soft voice soothes As she places a bowl Of something warm Before Kisara.

The washroom Is even stranger Full of potions And what appears To be magic.

But the true magic Kisara finds Is in Shizuka’s hands.

They’re gentle Upon hers As they turn a faucet Together And comb Through tangled hair.

If Kisara was not A traveler Across dimensions She’d take this woman’s hand And thank her.

All she can muster is “Please stay?”

Thankfully brown eyes And fiercer blues Do not object

Allowing Auburn And pale blue To mix As they lie Together.

New days Bring new fears Eased by Shizuka.

In a world Where her Priest Is no more

Kisara's heart Finds new purchase Gentle yet strong.

Understanding Dawning in greens Brings a smile.

Pairing 2: Protectshipping(Hiroto Honda |Tristain Taylor/Ryou Bakura)

Propaganda: Tristan’s so loyal and dependable, and he pays more attention to Ryo than probably any other character does, and it’s what Ryo needs after everything he’s been through. He’d listen if Ryo wants to talk about his troubles, he’d remember little random details about him, and he wouldn’t make a big deal about these things, but they’d mean so much to Ryo, and he’d let Tristan know how much he appreciates his efforts.  I also think it’s interesting how Ryo looks soft and gentle, but is also really strong and brave, while Tristan looks tough (and can be), but is more sensitive than he’d probably like to admit. A lot of Protectshipping fics are more about Tristan taking care of Ryo, which makes sense and I love it, but I think it’d go both ways - Ryo would want to be there for Tristan if he was going through a difficult time, and I like the idea of Tristan being able to confide in him, especially post-canon when the Ring’s gone and he’s doing better mentally. He might still have some trouble putting his feelings into words (as we saw in chapter 7), but Ryo would be patient with him and let him say whatever he needs to, and I think he’d give pretty good advice too.  I just think it has the potential to be a really tender, caring relationship, and they both deserve that. ^-^

Kicking off with Rescueshipping largely because I’ve had this in my head more or less since I drew this one in 2014 and finally got around to drawing it.  XD

I don’t plan on EVERY fill this month being comics OR in color (I’d like to keep my sanity) but I have a couple other things more special than previous years in mind.

Also: Whooooo ghost dragon~!  And yes I know I didn’t manage to draw Serenity’s face consistently once in this XDD

Done mostly in Medibang Paint but I used Corel Photopaint to add the dialogue.  :P

quick summary of all my jade multiverse aus (under cut for length, more will be added with time because i keep fucking making aus for the jade multiverse (i literally made another one while working on this post, can you guess which one it is))

jade multiverse (show)

⇢ jade dragon: main verse. follows the canon series for the most part with my si isekai’d into the world as the green ninja. main ship is rockcandyshipping.

⇢ darkley’s dragon: au where the ninja all went to darkley’s together. they all have been friends since childhood because of this. main ship is polyelements.

⇢ jade children: au to the darkley’s dragon where the overlord attacks several years earlier while the ninja are all still students at darkley’s with 0 training. they have to quickly learn how to use their powers to defeat him. main ship is polyelements.

⇢ jade oni: au where my si wasn’t saved by his dragon parent and was instead raised as an oni. because of this he’s different personality wise, more cruel, but does soften up over time. during march of the oni he betrays the team to aid the oni, but then eventually turns on them, returning to the ninja. main ship is rockcandyshipping.

⇢ jade pirate: au where corrin shows up much earlier than expected. he is found by delara, who he befriends and is convinced to join nadakhan’s crew. when nadakhan’s crew is banished he is sent to the cursed realm for his punishment, where he becomes a ghost and is freed post-possession. he starts off aiding his original crew but eventually switches sides and joins the ninja. main ship is outcastshipping.

⇢ jade serpent: au where corrin shows up much earlier again, and is eventually passed on to the pyro vipers. he is eventually taken in by king mambo v and raised by him, growing up as a close friend to aspheera. he is the initial reason wu and garmadon when into serpentine territory and is there when aspheera frees them. he also learns spinjitzu alongside her. when she overthrows king mambo v, she used fangpyre venom mixed with pyro viper blood to turn him into one of them. he later managed to escape her and is the one to tell wu and garmadon what’s going on. after aspheera’s defeat he spends a lot of time traveling ninjago until he encounters lloyd thousands of years later and befriends him. no set main ship.

⇢ jade heavens: god au. my si and the other elemental masters are all gods. basically just fun made up mythology for ninjago. main ship is polyelements w/ background polyponytails bc i love that ship.

⇢ jade reincarnation: kinda a sequel to the jade heavens au. basically a no powers/modern au where all of the ninja are normal people in a normal world with no supernatural creatures or powers. once again, main ship is polyelements.

⇢ jade family: corrin ends up in the world of ninjago earlier and becomes a student of chen alongside clouse and garmadon. he eventually leaves and joins the elemental alliance. corrin and garmadon eventually get married and have twins, but one of the twins is kidnapped and presumably killed. eventually helps wu train the ninja years later. main ship is secretshipping, later becomes rescueshipping.

⇢ jade fugitives: au of jade family. au where both wu and garmadon are evil, believing only one side (light/darkness) can exist. this leads to corrin forming an alliance with the overlord because neither wish to die. it mostly focuses on corrin’s allegiance with various inhuman species in ninjago. no main ship.

jade multiverse (movie)

⇢ chipped jade: main movie verse. corrin was the leader of the original team ninja and the original green ninja. after a nearly fatal injury in which he’s left permanently injured, he retires and, eventually, passes his title (and abilities) onto lloyd. main ship is summerbreezeshipping.

⇢ lost jade: basically the movie version of the jade family au. corrin is the ex of garmadon and lives with harumi, lloyd, and koko (the last of which had abandoned her title as a warlord to help corrin care for his kids). he ends up tagging along with the ninja during their journey, and eventually reveals his place as the original green ninja. main ship is secretshipping.

⇢ reverse jade: roleswap au for the lost jade verse! my si is the warlord and garmadon cares for harumi and lloyd. as opposed to canon movie garmadon having no interest in being a parent, corrin desperately wants to be a parent to the twins but garmadon is worried about their safety. main ship is secretshipping.

I have listed out basically all the ships written in, so I would like to add a disclaimer that I myself do not claim the above ships are rare. They were simply what was written in the tags and notes as votes.

Also there is a lot more disagreement about what constitutes a rare pair than you'd think based off of this feedback.

Of write-in votes I believe Deathshipping won, though it was hard to tally. Euroshipping also had a somewhat surprising number of write-ins. Those were the two written in most often.
