"Heatwave!" you cried as scattered papers fluttered about the room, clinging to his mass shifted form as adrenaline surged through your body. Getting more settled in his grasp and securing an arm behind his helm, you allowed your heart to slow it's hammering against your ribs with a sigh before your nonexistent patience snapped and you got quite huffy about the intrusion. "What are you doing?!"

"Do you have any idea what time it is?" he asked, catching you off guard. Looking quite unaffected by your displeasure, he made no move to set you down, not that you had much of a will to fight him.

"No?" you answered honestly, vaguely recalling the clock showing some ridiculous late hour the last time you'd looked. "But it doesn't matter, I need to work-"

"You need to sleep, babe." he interrupted firmly, lifting you closer to his chassis as he maneuvered his pedes over the plentiful papers that had been scattered across the floor. The movement stirred up a weak burst of defiance in you, and you looked back towards your desk as he walked to the door, the sight of your ample remaining work summoning what little energy you had left to resist.

"I don't have time..." you protested weakly, hoping he would look past his stubborn, protective nature and just let you have this. There was simply so much you needed to get done, and the thought of going through the hoops required for an extension made you want to just deal with the lack of sleep. The world felt so far off and unimportant as he opened the door to your dark bedroom...

After doing everything in your power to ensure he wouldn't be bothered from dawn to dusk, prepping the padded berth the two of you shared and ordering some new lingerie, you had sent him a message inviting the mech to your bedroom. Your initial plan had been to have him simply blow off some steam with a few rounds of fun, but it had quickly become apparent you'd underestimated just how pent up your beloved fire truck really was.

Can I pleaaasee ask for a Medic/paramedic rescue bot x Heatwave. Where the two guys have major problems with one another, constant arguing like an old married couple when they denied that they’ll never be that close. I wanna take inspiration from the baby bot episode… since Kade got the baby for a week, I imagine him asking for help with Heatwave and kinda left him with the baby. That just got the two bots to put aside their differences and end up taking it in a deeper way 😭 LMAAAO LIKE

“Kade don’t leave the baby here!” “You look after him! I’ve got a date! Thanks! Bye!” He shouted taking off down the street as Heatwave groaned holding the babbling baby who didn’t who any better.

Heatwave sighed looking about for who could possibly know what to do with this baby…Patch.

He’d been away the last week at Team Prime’s base for some extra medical training from Ratchet while they had the commotion with this robo baby.

Patch was more a paramedic than medic as his training was much more generalised for a bit of everything and wasn’t specifically for just the army — he had a civil qualification that’s why he had a different title.

besides the point Patch looked too peaceful…a bit of a wind up was over due. Heatwave cracked a smile as he’d tapped the mech’s shoulder.

“Yes Heatwave?” “You’re good with babies right?” “Yes why?” He huffed turning round just to have a small robot baby placed into his servos.

“Heatwave where did this come from?!” He panicked as the firebot only laughed as Patch huffed.

“I mean like seriously this is an odd sparkling-“ “it’s not a sparkling! Kade left me to care for a robot baby! I had no choice in it as he ran off for a date or something!” Heatwave exclaimed as Patch sighed.

“Is this the same baby Cody was telling me about?” “Yeah” “and you’re suddenly incapable of holding him when I finish off important paperwork?” Patch huffed as the mech sighed and took the baby back.

“How long are you going to be?” “Well you missing me already?” Patch teased as Heatwave grumbled “sure. You finished yet?” “Give me half an hour, it’ll be done and I need this time to make sure everything is up to date” he chuckled as Heatwave walked off trying to think what to do.

Heatwave paced as the baby started to cry and he’d barely gotten a break from rescues today already.

He’d rocked the baby as he seen Patch appear a bit more sympathetic this time as he held the yellow dummy (British word for pacifier).

“You were finished your paperwork, I realised it was more like a baby than I originally thought it was and I found it in this care bag that was left in the garage” Patch explained.

”Look I don’t have the right mindset for doing this myself, mind helping?” “It’s no fuss Heatwave, besides I wouldn’t leave our son” he chuckled as Heatwave huffed.

“he isn’t our actual son” “he is for afternoon! Best start thinking it!” Patch chirped as Heatwave shook his head but if this is how he got help he’d play along.

the trio played rolling the ball about. Watched Cartoons, played ‘hide and seek’ where whoever had the baby always found the other making them win.

Heatwave and Patch sat down as the baby napped, it was just them in the bunker so it was peaceful and quiet.

“okay I’ll have to go finished the paper work” Patch said getting up and stretching as he was leaving Heatwave called after him.

“Hey don’t leave me alone with our son!” “I thought you said he wasn’t!” Patch groaned walking back over as the mech smiled.

“Oh and I did miss you. It made for a long week with my favourite mech to wind up and maybe even see” he chuckled as Patch huffed rolling his optics but smiling as he sat back down flicking on a tv show as the baby slept.

RBA | Recruits X Reader: New Year's Eve

Writer: Autobot2001 Genre: Fanfiction Fandom: Rescue Bots Acadamy Rating: E Warning: None Description: (Y/N) and the recruits stay up all night for the New Year's Eve party.

The recruits at the rescue bot academy have gotten used to Earth holidays being full of emergencies to respond to. Which has gotten annoying. Without fail, every holiday has resulted in at least one emergency. They know an emergency-free holiday can't be promised. Their human friend (Y/N) hopes to plan a party they all can enjoy without any emergencies with the help of Cody Burns. The two are trying to get the rescue bots and the rest of the Burns family to come to the party, but their main focus is to give the recruits an enjoyable holiday celebration. "At the very least, I'm hoping any emergency happens hours before the midnight fireworks or a little afterward," (Y/N) tells Cody "obviously no emergencies are better for everyone.: With Heatwave's help, the two humans plan a night of fun. The plan is simple: a few games and watching TV before the midnight fireworks show. Things that are easy to abruptly stop doing and rush to an emergency.

The two humans and Heatwave hate the lack of excitement from the recruits as (Y/N) tells them the plan. "Great, how long do we have fun before responding to an emergency?" Medix sulks. "We knew they wouldn't be excited," (Y/N) reminds Cody, "but I worry this will be a failure with this attitude." "Challenge accepted," Cody whispers. Because their servos are larger than human hands, Earth board and card games are out of the question. While planning tonight, the two humans realized quickly that they should have thought of this at least a month ago. Doc Green might have been able to help them. There are already a couple of video game console controllers they can use. "I turned off the alarm system," Heatwave whispers to (Y/N), "I believe I can handle the emergencies that arise tonight." "I hope so, but if they need to help you, then ruin the fun."

Since there are only two controllers, playing the video game lasts three hours. It's ten at night by the time the recruits are bored. Good, now a movie and fireworks. (Y/N) thinks. The movie isn't New Year's Eve related, but everyone is still eager to watch (movie title). They might have to pause the movie to get to the roof on time, but everyone doesn't mind.

One-hundred-ten minutes fly by. Everyone hurries to the roof. "This is exciting," Hot Shot smiles, "an emergency-free holiday." "There's still ten minutes," Wedge argues, "zip it." "Come on, guys," (Y/N) comments, "no argues."

"five…four..three…two one…happy new year!!" Everyone yells. Cody and (Y/N) laugh at Hot Shot and Medix kissing. "Ewe, dude!" Hot Shot complains. "How did he know that's what humans do?" (Y/N) asks, laughing. Medix's faceplate turns red as everyone laughs. "I have an idea," Cody smiles and plays music, "rooftop dance party." Everyone likes this idea to keep the party going longer. This lasts an hour before they finish the movie and go to bed. The recruits and Heatwave had an emergency-free New Year's Eve.

Hii How are you doing? Saw the request says open so was wondering if you could do Heatwave with a sleep-deprived gn! Cybertronian Reader. The reader hasn't been recharging properly and it stresses Heatwave out cuz whenever they get a mission, things will go South quickly but they manage to get the task done.

The reason why readers are sleep-deprived is that it's a habit of theirs not to back when they're on Cybertron. They used to work on projects and get punished for not completing them in time so it led them to not recharge when they're working on something as worried about getting punished.

Heatwave wanted to get angry at them but understood where they were coming from and helped them recharge with some techniques he'd been using too like meditating, counting turbo-foxes, etc

"Hey."

You perked up at the sound of your conjunx's voice. Yet another restless night with you, you couldn't really help it though as it became a habit.. And you know what they say about habits.

"Yes, Heatwave?" you turned your helm away from Cody's broken jukebox. "You can fix that in the morning you know, it's not like Cody needs it right away." he huffed, crossing his arms and leaning against the wall besides your desk.

"I know.. But I can't help it! On Cybertron-"

"We're not on Cybertron. You can leave that for the morning cause right now you need some rest, we don't want a repeat of last week.."

He scolded, looking at you rather disappointedly. "Alright fine.. But you gotta help me recharge!" you got off the desk and followed him back to the recharge stations, while he was pretty grumpy about the whole thing, it's not like he minded helping you, it's just that he doesn't like seeing you without a decent amount of recharge.. So now the two of you were in berth together, head against his chassis hearing his spark beat and his engines hum, the white noise blocking out any thought in your helm.

"Just count the beats of my spark until you fall asleep.."

He laid his free servo on your helm, holding you extra close tonight. He never admitted it but this was his favorite part of getting you to recharge.

And now you laid in his arms, counting each beat his spark made just as he told you to, and just like he did during his own sleepless nights..

• not only are little children crawling all on top and inside him but theres also candy crushed in places he cant even reach

• scary movies are something he’s not a fan of ,, they terrify him more than he likes to admit

• though he will definitely allow you to cuddle with him during the movies ,, or hide in his chassis if you get too scared

chase ::

• he’s concerned about the many laws this might break ,, as well as the fact children are allowed to be the presence of strangers who can easily snatch them up

• and the fact that these little rascals are allowed to eat more than an unhealthy amount of candy on this day

• he will freak out every time he sees a fake plastic skeleton ,, and immediately thinks that theres been a murder

• hes seen all about halloween on tv !! hes super excited ,, except for some parts however

• he wants to pass candy out to the children so bad !! though he gets to through the help of dani ,, so you and him hand little goodies to kids during parades and festivals

• though he is petrified from seeing the skeletons and bats hanging around ,, hes worried theyre real and they’ll come to life at midnight and chase him !! after all it happens in the movies !!

Though he won't admit it, Heatwave was worried about you at first.

He thought that something was keeping you from falling asleep, like nightmares or maybe even someone threatening

He was relieved and confused to find out that you're just sleepy 24/7

He won't admit it but Heatwave likes holding you like a baby

You're just so tiny to him

He makes sure to be very.. VERY gentle with you

Lay on the floor, he will pick you up

Kade will tease him, but he'll stop if you clap back with an even bigger roast

Heatwave somehow manages to find you comfy new pajamas and stuffies

He also has a little nest of blankets and pillows on an air mattress in the base

He won't say it because he doesn't want to come off as creepy, but he thinks you look really pretty/handsome (whichever you prefer) when you sleep.

He tries not to yell around you in general, but hes especially careful while you're asleep, big boi doesn't wanna wake you up

If you have a sleepover with him he will tuck you in. You don't got a choice 😂

Heatwave doesn't really sleep, but he'll stay with you until you wake up.
