🌿 How We Prevent Plant Shock! While it's impossible to completely eliminate all repotting stress, you can definitely minimize it with these steps:👩🏻‍🌾 1️⃣ Choose the Perfect Pot: 🪴Opt for a planter pot that’s just the right size. A slightly larger pot than the current one allows room for root growth without overwhelming the plant. Make sure there is proper drainage. 2️⃣ Check Roots: 🔎 Remove anything that looks dead, moldy or rotten. If both the soil and the roots are healthy, 🙅🏻‍♀️avoid touching the root ball, as it causes stress to the plant. If there are thick roots that are coiled up, loosen these with your fingers or cut them off. 3️⃣ Hydration: After the repotting process, ensure your plant is hydrated.💧Remember, transplant shock often boils down to water stress. Ensure that those freshly planted roots have ample access to water right from the start. 4️⃣ Timing: Transplant with ☁️cloudy weather or when it’s not too warm. This allows the plant to adjust to the new spot without being fully exposed to the sun immediately. Repot shock #monsteraadansonii My monstera adansonii has suffered some serious repot ⚡shock and it was my fault.
