Hamas not only do not care for the deaths of Palestinian civilians, they actively benefit from them. They deliberately create situations in which the IDF kills civilians (which I am not defending by the way) by using them as human shields and having them hold Israeli hostages, not to mention they then deliberately blur the line between civilian and combatant, lie about the number of casualties and dub populated cities as "refugee camps". People become reactionary in response and their plight to "liberate Palestine" (read: kill the Jews, it's literally in their founding charter) seems more justifiable. They donate to "charities" which help fuel money to Hamas, who then use it to build more rockets and missiles rather than invest in protecting civilians. They hoard humanitarian aid and sell it to the civilians at outrageous prices, again, so they can build more weapons (not to mention Hamas leaders are wealthy billionaires in Qatar which very much also use the money for personal pleasure). Israel has proposed multiple ceasefire deals, Hamas has rejected all of them since they include releasing the Israeli hostages (something Pro-Palestinians have nothing to lose from by the way, unless they actively hate Israeli civilians and think they deserve to suffer). Sinwar has openly stated he does not want the war to stop and feels he benefits from it. If you claim to be for the people of Palestine yet ignore these facts and continue to support your terrorist blorbos then you are not in favor of Palestinian civilians, you are in favor of killing Jews.
