It’s a bit blurry, but it’s the one shot where you can see all three flowers! The old Fuwa would’ve never done this so I thought it was super touching ^-^

scarletsilver fic recs from yours truly bcuz i can
smacked upside of the head by the harsh daylight by paperclipbitch Rating: G Verse: Fox X-Men Movies Summary: [set during Days of Future Past] “Bad idea,” Wanda sing-songs. “I haven’t had a good one since nineteen sixty-three,” Peter replies. - starting with my absolute fave. this is the fic that got me invested in the au where wanda is in the xmen movies and everyone who knows me knows i am absolutely and horrendously mentally ill over it. this fic has such an amazing dynamic between these two characters, and such great insight into peter as a character. when i am not constantly reading this, i will be dead. seriously, i mutter the lines while i am reading it, it’s so good.
with monsters much bigger than i can control by buries Rating: Mature Verse: MCU Summary: Wanda? Can you read me? Wanda— A high crackle, the radio screaming. It fizzles and pops. The rodent is gone. The red fire curling between her fingers puffs out along with it like a goofy magic trick. Breathing becomes easier until it stops completely. In crystal clear silence:  I will always be faster than you, little sister. The radio gives Wanda the one person she wants most. [1x03 au] - wandavision au. this one makes me absolutely batshit i cry every single time and i am serious about that. the emotion, grief, tragedy and depression are sooo well written that it tears my heart apart. absolutely devastating.
Your Last Battlefield by trill_gutterbug Rating: Explicit Verse: MCU Summary: She is at the far end of a long hallway, shrouded in flickering light. He knows it’s her like he knows the inside of his own mouth with his tongue. - the despriction of their dynamic and the medical experimentation done to them as part of the enhancements is so visceral it literally haunted me. they are each other’s light in the dark & each other’s only constant and it’s beautiful in such a tragic way that i am absolutely obsessed. great, playful smut too, with tons of feelings and deep, deep love.
Soft by zarahjoyce Rating: G Verse: MCU Summary: “She is more beautiful, you think, when there is pulsing energy on her fingertips and when she sways with the song of her power.” Speculation on events before AoU. | (you are wrong. because in truth, it is you who cannot last long without her.) - haunting writing style (i personally find second person pov to almost always be eerie, and it’s done so well here) and incredible introspection into pietro as a character, as well as their codependency.
tell me where you want to go (and i'll do my best to take you there) by orphan_account Rating: Teen Verse: 616 Summary: Wanda has never been so glad to hold galaxies in her own hands, because that means the sky is a little piece of her. That must explain the way Pietro looks at it. - there’s this certain inherent melancholy about these two that is both heartbreaking and fascinating. this is not a sad fic by any means (though bittersweet at times), but i feel like it captures that melancholy very well, especially through wanda’s pov. pietro’s devotion to her shines through in this one.
Play That Song Again by notdrunkenough Rating: Teen Verse: 616 Summary: Married. Silver. Wonderful. Happy. - this one is more of a wanda character study than anything else, but it has a fascinating take on her as a person. she feels very eerie in this one, very detached, and it works incredibly well. very spooky stuff, i thought about it for days after reading it for the first time.
pull me in and never let me go by summerdayghost Rating: Teen Verse: 616 Summary: She simply understood. - this one is actually a lorna/pietro/wanda fic, but it’s lorna pining from afar for her siblings who are in love. incredibly fascinating outside perspective on the twin’s relationship and i will never get over it.

Day Twenty-Two - Window Cleaning
@fatethreads, @iris-14cheonsa, @zarahjoyce, @quatresnuku, @princess-sas, @nopedontknow
Day Twenty-Two: Window Cleaning
Fandom: Mashin Sentai Kiramager
Characters: Sena Hayami, Tametomo Imizu, Mashin Mach, and Mashin Shovellow
Pairings: Sena Hayami x Tametomo Imizu
Typically, when the Mashins were polished, washed, or cleaned, CARAT employees were specially trained for the task or specialized equipment was used. Today, however, Sena wanted to treat Mach. She asked several CARAT employees and security guards to bring Mach to an open area, which would act as an impromptu car wash area. Before heading out to the area where Mach was, she changed into her swimsuit and a pair of shorts, knowing that giving her Mashin a bath might cause her to get soaked.
Inside Kiramai Base, Tametomo’s Kiramai Changer beeped and flashed yellow, signaling he was receiving a call from Shovellow.
           “Oi, Shove-jii, what is it?”
           “Mach got dragged out somewhere!”
“So, you’re worried? What can I do about it, Shove-jii?”
           “You can find him!”
“I don’t understand why you’re so freaked out. He’s probably getting a bath or getting detailed. Plus, if you want to find out where Mach went, why don’t you just ask Sena? You’re not jealous, are you?”
“Jealous, of course not! I can get a bath or get detailed any time I want!”
“Oi, if you want a bath, just say something! I can hose you down.”
           “Really?!”
“Hey! Of course, I can! It can’t be that hard!
“I bet you’ve never washed a car in your entire life.”
Well, Shovellow wasn’t wrong. He was a gamer, so of course, he hadn’t washed a car in his entire life. Wasn’t that what car washes were for?
“I’ll just call Sena and ask where Mach went. That way, you can stop worrying and freaking out.”
Before Shovellow could reply, Tametomo ended their connection. He pressed the blue button again and opened a communication link with Sena.
“Sena, where’s Mach? Shove-jii is freaking out.”
Sena’s Kiramai Changer beeped and she answered the call.
Sena, where’s Mach? Shove-jii is freaking out.
She could almost hear Tametomo rolling his eyes through their changers.
“I had some of the CARAT employees bring Mach out to an empty area so I could give him a bath. I’m going to scrub every inch of him, including his windows. It’s my treat to him after everything we’ve been through. I know CARAT usually does that for the Mashin, but this time, I thought I’d do it myself.”
“I think part of why Shove-jii is freaking out about why Mach suddenly went missing is because he’s jealous. Is there room for two Mashin?”
“The area is pretty big, so all five Mashin, plus the Shovellow Corps could fit without a problem.”
“Good. Where are you? Shovellow and I will be right over.”
“We’re in a large open area that’s big enough to hold all five of our Mashin, plus the Shovellow Corps. I just told you!”
           “Alright, we’ll be right over.”
Tametomo got in contact with a couple CARAT employees, who agreed to transport Shovellow to where Sena and Mach were. When Tametomo arrived at the scene, he was greeted to a scene that surprised him. Sena was in a swimsuit and shorts, barefoot, and armed with a hose. A bucket of soapy water, several sponges, and other tools were nearby.
           “What are you doing?”
“What does it look like I’m doing? I’m giving Mach a bath. I thought I told you that.”
“You did, but I didn’t believe you until I saw it for myself. Why are you dressed like that?”
“You’ve never washed a vehicle in your entire life, have you?”
           “Obviously not.”
“If you had ever washed your own vehicle even once in your entire life, you’d know that you get wet and soapy. That means you wear something you can afford to get wet and soapy, like a swim suit. Now if you’ll excuse me, Mach needs his windows cleaned. All of the high-speed driving gets bugs splattered all over and nasty bug guts isn’t a good look for him.”
“Lady Sena knows what’s good for me.” Mach’s headlights blinked as his sweet, dulcet tones sounded.
           “Of course, she does.
“Hey, Tametomo! Do you think you could wash my windows too? I have dried mud, dust, and dirt all over from flinging things around.”
           “Yeah, yeah, Shove-jii.”
“I can show you how it’s done, Tame-kun, but you might want to take off your jacket first. You might want to take off your t-shirt too. Black absorbs heat and makes you warmer. The water will cool you off, but you still don’t want to overheat.”
“Have you been talking to Sayo-nee?”
“No, I just know things. Now, should we get to washing some windows? I want to get them washed before there’s another attack in the city.”
           “Fine, let’s get washing.”

@zarahjoyce replied to your post “Fuwa is an unemployed guy who randomly rips open car doors and calls...”
I hate that he and Yua didn't even get a last scene together without Gai being there ugh
With the amount of time we spent on the Aruto-Izu, Fuwa-Yua and Horobi-Jin duos for forty five episodes, I thought at least they’d share a smile, a nod of acknowledgement. Aruto and Izu did, Horobi and Jin did. We even had Naki joining A.I.M.S, therefore fulfilling the early expectation of them working with Yua when they first appeared - but nothing for Fuwa and Yua? Gai...that blood sucker...no one wants you here...

Day Twenty-Nine - Two Seconds
@fatethreads, @zarahjoyce, @iris-14cheonsa, @quatresnuku, @princess-sas, @nopedontknow
(Again, this very long drabble was inspired by one of @iris-14cheonsa‘s episode or prompt ideas. This is perhaps the longest drabble I’ve ever written for the challenge. It’ll be under the cut. Enjoy!)
Day Twenty-Nine: Two Seconds
Fandom: Mashin Sentai Kiramager
Characters: Juru Atsuta, Tametomo Imizu, Sena Hayami, Shiguru Oshikiri, Sayo Oharu
Pairings: Sena Hayami x Tametomo Imizu
Muryo had alerted them to a Yodonheim attack and pulled up the footage on-screen. There were civilians running around everywhere and the Jamenshi was shooting a strange-looking beam at several of them. Strangely enough, from the looks of things, the Jamenshi only seemed to be targeting couples with his beam. At first, no one knew why the Jamenshi was targeting couples, but then it became apparent. The Jamenshi’s motive behind his attack was to target the male half of the couple and the male would then become aggressive toward his female partner.
“We need to get out there and make sure he doesn’t keep doing this. People are going to get seriously injured.” Sayo was very concerned, especially from a medical standpoint.
Males were typically more aggressive than females, so every couple the Jamenshi targeted was in grave danger. There was no telling what the male victims were actually capable of or what would happen to the female victims.
           “Let’s go, everyone!”
The quintet transformed and rushed out to the scene, facing their biggest challenge yet. They couldn’t hurt their victims, but they needed to figure out some way to incapacitate the males while they found a safe place for the females to hide. There were too many victims for Sayo to incapacitate on her own, so using her aikido skills was out of the question. Had it just been one or two victims, that plan would’ve worked, but they needed to think of something else.
“What are we going to do? How are we going to incapacitate all of the Jamenshi’s victims?” Juru was at a loss. If only he could use his imagination manifestation powers to help.
“Juru, what if you built a prison area for the men? It’d hold them and keep them away from their partners!” On the surface, Sena had a great idea, but Sayo soon discovered the flaw.
“Sena, that won’t work. If the aggressive men are all kept together in one area, they may attack each other. We can’t take that risk.”
“Oh, right. I didn’t think of that.” She scratched the back of her helmet.
“But the men are only aggressive toward the women, right?” Juru asked.
“We still can’t take that risk, Juru. We need to come up with something else.”
“What about handcuffs? I can draw several pairs and we can incapacitate the men with those!”
“That might work, but we don’t know if they’ll be able to break out of them.”
Juru groaned. “Is there really nothing we can do?!”
“We’ll just have to focus on taking out the Jamenshi. If we take him out, his power will cease to work.”
Tametomo began working on coming up with a plan. “Alright, so we’ll split into two teams. One team will focus on taking out the Jamenshi and the other team will focus on his victims. Juru, you’ll be on the team focusing on the victims. We need your imagination powers to incapacitate them. Sayo-nee, help Juru. Use your aikido skills to help him out in incapacitating as many people as you can. Sena and Shiguru, you’ll both be with me, focusing on taking down the Jamenshi. Kiramagers…GO!”
The group split up into their respective teams and went about their duties. Sena used her speed to try and get an edge against the Jamenshi. Shiguru used both his swordsmanship skills and his “Bright Blue Slash” attack, but nothing seemed to be working. Then, Tametomo’s plan began to unravel. Everything happened in what seemed to be about two seconds. The Jamenshi started going for Sena and Shiguru, in retaliation, which caused Tametomo to rush toward the Jamenshi. Tametomo rushed to help the two, but the Jamenshi shot a beam, which hit Tametomo. In a matter of only a couple seconds, the sharpshooter had been put under a Jamenshi’s spell. However, unlike the other male victims who had all attacked their female partners after being affected, Tametomo didn’t attack either of the girls. Did that mean that he didn’t feel anything for either of the girls? With the plan having fallen apart, Juru made the decision to retreat back to Base.
Back at Base, everyone sat around the table.
“So, what we know is that the Jamenshi’s beam causes men to go aggressive against someone he’s romantically interested in. However, Tametomo was affected and he hasn’t attacked anyone. That means he either isn’t romantically interested in anyone or he’s somehow suppressing the Jamenshi’s power through sheer will.”
“But if he hasn’t been affected by the beam, even though he’s been hit, that shouldn’t be much of a problem, right? If Tame-kun is romantically interested in someone, he’ll attack, but he’s not attacking, so no romantic interest! We’re all friends here, right?”
Tametomo stayed silent. When Muryo had said they were either not romantically interested in someone or they were somehow suppressing the Jamenshi’s power through sheer will, for him, it was the latter reason. He was doing everything in his power to not attack Sena. Finally, he decided to speak up, hoping he could hide his feelings a bit longer.
“Yeah! Of course, we’re all friends here! As if I’d like anyone on this team!” When he’d made the decision to speak up and try and hide his feelings, he didn’t account for the fact that his voice might come out forced.
“Are you alright?” Juru asked his second-in-command. It wasn’t a good day if his second-in-command was falling apart.
Tametomo clenched his fists and both of his hands began shaking. He tried to speak, but nothing would come out of his mouth. When he finally was able to speak, his words shook too. “Of course, I’m fine. I’ve never been better. If you’ll excuse me, I need to be somewhere.” With that, the sharpshooter left.
“He’s not alright.” Sayo observed. “He was hit by that beam and he’s not alright. He’s struggling to keep it together and it’s only through sheer will he’s able to do so.”
           “What do you mean, Sayo-nee?”
“Did you see how he reacted, Sena? When you asked if we were all friends, he said yes, but his voice came out forced. When Juru asked if he was alright, his hands clenched into fists and began to shake. He couldn’t speak at first and when he did finally speak, his words were shaky and he left in haste.”
           “What does that mean?”
“It means he’s romantically interested in one of us and struggled not to attack. There’s only one way to figure out which of us he’s interested in. We both need to go find him and that’ll speak volumes.”
“Are you sure that’s a good idea? What if he attacks either one of you?” Shiguru asked. He obviously thought Sayo’s plan wasn’t a good one.
“He’ll only try and attack the girl he’s romantically interested in. As much as he might be trying to control himself, I fear his control might be starting to slip. That’s why he made up an excuse to leave, so he could be by himself to collect his thoughts and maintain control of himself.” Sayo replied.
“What if his interest doesn’t lie with a girl?” Shiguru raised a valid point.
“Regardless,” Juru interceded, “we need to find him and make sure he’s alright. He could’ve gone off to defeat the Jamenshi by himself. I know Tame-kun is good, but I don’t think he’s in a right state of mind right now to be fighting.”
Muryo tapped some keys on his keyboard. “He’s still in the building. He’s in the training room.”
           “Let’s go, everyone.”
The remaining four Kiramagers ran out of the War Room and quickly made their way to the training room. Once there, they found Tametomo transformed and shooting at several targets from several different positions.
“Well, it looks like he figured his current mindset wouldn’t serve him well in a battle, alone, with the Jamenshi. That must be why he decided to do some extra training. I just hope he isn’t doing the extra training so he can take on the Jamenshi by himself.”
“I don’t think that’s the case, Sayo-san. I feel like he’s probably training to keep himself in check because he doesn’t want to lose it in front of his person of interest.”
“We still haven’t found out who that person is. If we can at least do that much, we can try and protect them. However, we still need to figure out a way to defeat the Jamenshi. I’m surprised it hasn’t attacked again. We would’ve heard something if the Jamenshi had attacked again after our rather hasty retreat.”
“Well, there’s only one way to find out!” Sena said, opening the door to the training room.
“Tame-kun, mind if I join you for some practice?”
As soon as she asked her question, the Ranger in question suddenly stopped what he was doing and turned on his heels. He calmly and slowly walked toward Sena, causing her to back up each time he came closer to her. Eventually, her back was up against the wall and she had no more room to move. There was no way she could get around him to even run. He slammed his hand against the wall, mere centimetres away from her head. If Sena didn’t know better, she’d think he was angry, but she couldn’t recall doing anything to him.
“Tame-kun, what’s wrong? Did I do something to upset you? If I did, I’m sorry.”
Outside the room, Juru and the others observed. Nothing too bad had happened, yet, so they weren’t trying to break down any doors just yet.
“Is he becoming more aggressive towards Sena?” Juru asked.
“It looked like he slammed his hand on the wall next to her head, but other than that, he hasn’t really physically done anything to her. Not yet, anyway.” Shiguru replied, based off what he observed.
“You don’t think Sena-chan is his person of interest, do you?” Sayo asked.
“Based on his current behavior, it’s very possible. However, she can handle herself. I think we should be focusing more on a plan to defeat the Jamenshi and leave Tametomo to Sena.” Shiguru suggested. “We know splitting into teams isn’t the way to handle this fight. The Jamenshi was still able to distract us, so that isn’t going to work. I think we might just need to attack head-on.”
“It’s so simple, it just might work. We should find the Jamenshi before he decides to attack again. It might be best to have the element of surprise.” Sayo suggested.
           “Right. Let’s go!”
The three remaining Kiramagers left, leaving Sena to confront a Jamenshi-affected Tametomo. They found the Jamenshi lurking around town, shooting his beam at more victims and causing more panic and terror. The three transformed and engaged the Jamenshi. They were hoping to distract him long enough that his hold over his victims might dissipate long enough for them to find safety. Their plan worked and the Jamenshi was momentarily distracted long enough for his once-victims to escape to safety. With the three Kiramagers alone with the Jamenshi, it didn’t take them long to power up their weapons for their final strike.
           “Kiramai Buster! Kira-Kiramai Charge!”
           “Kiramai Shot! Kiramai Charge!”
           “Kiramai Sword! Kiramai Charge!”
Their weapons glowed with power as they charged up.
           “Bright Blue Slash!”
Juru and Sayo fired at the same time Shiguru swung his sword, the attacks melding to create one large attack. The final attack sailed toward the Jamenshi, hitting him head-on and destroying him in a fiery explosion.
Meanwhile back at Base, the fog of aggression that had settled in Tametomo’s brain dissipated rather quickly. When he realized the position he and Sena were in, he immediately withdrew his hand from the wall and turned around, no longer facing her.
           “Eh? Tame-kun, what’s wrong?”
“I could’ve hurt you. Why did you come here?”
“We needed to figure out who would set you off so we could figure out if there was another way to beat the beam without defeating the Jamenshi. If you’re no longer aggressive, though, it looks like Juru and the others beat the Jamenshi!”
“You don’t get it, do you?”
“Get what? You’re fine now. You’re no longer being affected by the Jamenshi’s attack. You’re no longer aggressive towards the person you’re romantically interested in.” The sudden realization of that statement hit her like a ton of bricks. “Wait, if you were aggressive towards me, then that means…” she trailed off.
“I like you. As more than a friend. That’s why I was struggling to keep my composure before. When I was around you, my body was screaming at me to attack you, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it. So, I held myself back as long as I could. You coming in here was the last straw. If they hadn’t defeated the Jamenshi when they did, I have no idea what would’ve happened. I understand if you don’t want to be friends anymore.”
“So, the comment about not liking anyone on the team was a lie?”
“No, that was sarcasm. I denied liking anyone on the team because I didn’t want the others to know how I felt.”
“Can you either take off your helmet or de-transform? It’s kind of difficult to have a conversation when I can’t see your face.”
Tametomo unclipped his helmet and lifted it off of his head, tucking it underneath his arm.
“So, you didn’t want the rest of the team to know you like me? Why?”
“It’s none of their business who I like.”
“Well, I like you too. As more than a friend.” A beaming smile was on Sena’s face.
As she only came up to his jawline, she wrapped her arms around his waist and rested her head on his chest. He wrapped his free arm around her waist and held her to him. They remained in that position for what seemed like hours, but was only a few seconds. The held gaze between the two seemed to ramp up the obvious tension between them, but neither of them did anything about it. Not until Sena began pushing up on her toes, trying to make up for their height difference. As she pushed upward, her arms moved from around his waist to around his neck as she leaned in. His arm remained around her waist as he leaned in to meet her halfway. Their lips were about to meet when the door to the training room suddenly opened. Juru, Shiguru, and Sayo ran in and saw the position their teammates were in.
           “Sorry!” Juru bowed in apology.
“We just wanted to let you know the Jamenshi was defeated, but I think you knew that already.” Sayo said, a soft, knowing, smile on her face.
“We’ll leave you two alone.” Shiguru said, turning on his heel and being the first to leave the room.
Juru quickly followed suit, Sayo right behind him. The couple was alone again, though neither of them could figure out if the mood was broken.
“Well,” Tametomo awkwardly chuckled, “that was interesting.”
           “Yeah.”
There was silence for a few moments.
“Well, I should probably get going. I don’t want to keep intruding on your training session.”
“You don’t have to leave. We could always train together.”
“We have two different fighting styles. I don’t think we’re the best training partners.”
“No, but we’re the best partners. And speaking of partners, I believe they interrupted us right in the middle of something.”
“Don’t you think the mood was broken after they interrupted?”
“Do you think the mood was broken?”
“Yes, but I think moods can be recreated.”
“I like the way you think, Sena.”
“You’re not the only one who can come up with a good idea, Tame-kun.”
“Less talk, more action.” He leaned down halfway, hoping she’d meet him the rest of the way.
Sena leaned up, meeting him halfway. Their eyes fluttered shut and their lips met in a soft, but brief, kiss. The pair broke apart after a few seconds. Sena rested her heels on the floor and moved her arms back around his waist. She rested her head against his chest again, tucking her head underneath his chin. Thank you for the sweet words!! They’re very encouraging to me, I hope I can keep getting better ~~ And as the oldest of my family I never had an older sibling, so I think it would’ve been great to have you as a sister :D
