Its so insane i mean neurodivergent that wyll will literally have any future plans you choose for him. I just played that bit now and chose each option and he agrees with them all with absolute conviction. I know its a sign that they just didn't really care nor did they have a clear vision for wyll but if you read into its like you really don't have any internal sense of self do you babygirl my personal interpretation of his attachment to grand tales is that after being exiled he has no adult blueprint for how to live his life but he's also very optimistic at heart so he copes by saying "any suffering I go through now is just the part of the Hero's journey right before they triumph" and it's also him somewhat regressing towards childhood to cope but it means that when he's faced with the real adult decision of "what should I do now that I'm an independent person" he has absolutely no idea but he can't admit that so he just looks at Tav a bit desperately and then whatever they say he's just like "Yes! I was thinking that all along!!" but also I feel when he says he'll be blade of avernus he's kind of just saying "I guess I'll keep doing whatever I was already doing, that's the safest option right?"

And then you get the option to try and convince wyll not to kill Mizora and its only a 15 roll do so (WHYY also can you imagine if there was an option to try to convince Astarion not to kill Cazador ??) And after you convince him he's just like "oh well I guess I'll only kill her if she crosses my path"

His reasoning of "well I know killing her would be for the greater good but I know I would derive some pleasure out of it so it must be bad" girl what kind of ass backwards logic...

Second, his backstory is definitely a work in progress, but thus far:

- His name is Tyhjä (Finnish for Void) and he's a Big Lightning Boy, aka a Charged Bolts build

- He's a bit of a Slüt, but how could you not be with nip rings built into the armor?

- His staff is crafted out of an ancient tree split by lightning, and he's traveled significantly across the continent to hone his grasp of the elements

- Realized he was falling for this dumb old man early in the campaign, making jokes about his Sparse Living Situation

- Neyrelle figured it out first

- Eventually learns some Horadric to figure out what on earth Lorath is constantly muttering and moaning about

The following are ✨campaign spoilers✨ since Tumblr sucks at letting me do Read More cuts:

- Ulterior motive for working for the Tree of Whispers? Trying to keep Lorath's head out of the branches as long as possible 😌

- But definitely bribes the Tree to let him borrow the old man's skull every once and a while when he's finally collected

- Ends up delivering Lorath's head himself because, honestly, he's not too keen on the ravens' decapitation quality

- Accidentally Good Boy's Mephisto at least once (and probably got bit in the process)

3 playthroughs. only three. and, i suppose, 4, if you count early access vs. full game rosalie. and my current durge playthrough is incomplete bc Horizon Forbidden West is now out and its so much more fun to me than Act 3.

Playthrough 1: early access Rosalie. Mephistopheles tiefling, evocation wizard.

Playthrough 2: Skylark. Half-drow barbarian, Wildheart.

Playthrough 3: full access Rosalie. Mephistopheles tiefling, divination wizard my beloved.

Playthrough 4: Delilah. Human bard, college of lore, also part-time durge.

When the level cap was on I couldn't get wizard Rosalie through the Underdark so I made an angry rage girlie instead to unlock those parts of the map!

since im already redoing my whole main awakening file for a stupid reason (robin’s birthday) im also now debating my tharja pairing again. the only two options are lon’qu and vaike bc i’m pretty set on everyone else but i had her with lon’qu in my previous file and i’m just not feeling it? like their supports are great but i just can’t see it romantically. and i think vaike as noire’s dad could be very cute. plus his daughters inherit mercenary
