ok so I’m not usually one to theorize about Rep TV but I think maybe I figured out a solid theory???

so I saw someone say that because of the previous pattern of releases, we’re not going to get rep or debut tv until 2025, which I agree with. (The pattern being two re-recordings (fearless and red in ‘21), one new album (midnights in ‘22), two re-recordings (SN and 1989 in ‘23), one new album (TTPD, this year)

I’ve also noticed that albums are almost always released on a Friday, and that the first Friday the Thirteenth of 2025 is in June. (2025 is also the year of the snake)

June being the sixth month, reputation being the sixth album. The thirteenth being Taylor’s number, Friday the Thirteenth being known as “unlucky” (Rep vibes imo).

I don’t have any theories about when it’ll be announced, but I do think that Reputation (Taylor’s Version) will most likely be released on June 13th, 2025. What do you guys think?

I haven’t been clowning for repTV so far, but hear me out. My sister @searchingforbeautiful and I realized Taylor might be counting up through her albums (minus debut) with her TTPD surprise song mashups (sort of… it’s only been one night per city so far?)

Miami N2 - loml x white horse (it was rare. We were there for this devastating track 5 mashup)

NOLA N1 - the black dog x haunted

Indy N1 - the albatross x holy ground

Toronto N? - TTPD x Rep?

This is obviously still a work in progress. We shall see what happens tonight. Have the best time, Indy N3ers!

Seeing Taylor’s outfit I’m thinking we’re not getting any kind of two announcement. It’s gorg, of course, but the lace-up back and the long black gives make me think of country Taylor a lot. That doesn’t mean anything to me, in terms of new news—just an observation.

I don’t think she’s going to announce anything tonight, because she wants to support her album—the one up for nomination. I think she’s gonna focus on Midnights, and given the choker that’s a watch, that looks less like a new album and more like a reinforcement of Midnights. Maybe we’ll be getting a new edition of Midnights—a sort of black-and-white edition.

I know we keep clowning over rep tv, but i really don’t think it will be this year. If anything, we MIGHT get an announcement in December with the actual album coming out 2025.

just look at the pattern:

2020 - 2 original albums (folklore, evermore)

2021 - 2 TVs (fearless TV, red TV)

2022 - original album (Midnights)

2023 - 2 TVs (speak now TV, 1989 TV)

2024 - original album (TTPD)

2025? - 2 TVs? ( rep TV, debut TV)

2026? - original album? (TS12)

This lets her keep up her insane release cycle for another 2 years. I’m assuming too that rep TV is already recorded, if not debut TV as well, and she’s just sitting on them to give herself time to work on new stuff while keeping up the fame momentum. She’s a marketing genius, so she knows she has to keep our attention after the eras tour in some way, plus TTPD is still topping charts so she doesn’t want to steal its thunder quite yet.

I don't really post about T-Swift but I need to share this because I have a theory for when Rep TV will come out.

So, in the most recent Nintendo Direct, Just Dance 2025 was announced, so I looked at the song list to see if I wanted to buy it; I saw this on the song list.

Since Just Dance 2025 releases in October, does that mean Rep TV will come out before October?
