This probably has a target audience of only like 3 other people, but I’ve been playing Peggle since I was like 4, and I realized recently that ever since, I’ve unconsciously headcanoned all but one of the Peggle masters as not-straight. I wasn’t even aware of it, I never actually thought to myself “that character is gay”, that’s just how they were in my head, and I never had to think it specifically, it was practically subconscious.

Sorry if this doesn’t matter to anyone but I needed to talk about it and my friends don’t know the game and my brother doesn’t care

Anyway here’s what I headcanon each of them as now that I’ve been able to think about it for real. Pt 1:

Apparently literally NOBODY on the internet has any kind of documentation on the extra features in Peggle Dual Shot; not even SPRITER'S RESOURCE, of all places!

Therefore, I took it upon myself to download a ROM (it was NOT hard to find) and screengrab all 10 of the Bonus Underground areas.

It's actually pretty interesting how seamless they look on emulator (barring the literal seam in Hu's hourglass); usually DS games put in some kind of invisible gap in two-part images to accommodate the gap between screens in the actual hardware, which looks awkward on an emulator.

warnings: possessive behavior, mentions of physical fights, mentions of cocaine and getting high/drunk

A/N: might edit or add more to these later, but i wanted to get them out before halloween was over, hope you enjoy :)

teddy loves halloween

will literally BEG to wear a matching couples costume with you

he'll find you breathtaking no matter what you wear 

he may or may not do it on purpose but his costume ends up looking a little slutty

whatever makeup your costumes need, teddy insists on doing each others makeup

but he ends up flustered from being so close to you

your makeup may end up looking not so good

whether your costume ends up being more modest or not, teddy will end up fighting anyone who has anything negative to say about how you look

like yeah his bark is much worse than his bite, but he won’t hesitate to cuss anyone out if they so much as give you a dirty look

if he ends up getting high or drunk (he most likely will) then a fight will escalate very quickly and turn physical

as concerning as his possessiveness paired with his unearned confidence can be, it’s kind of sweet watching him defend you and risk getting a black eye or bloody nose

yes he goes all out decorating the lobo mansion

no you're not helping him, this is the perfect opportunity to show off his 'strength'

when he lifts something and tells you how heavy it was please just congratulate him, it'll make him shut up sooner

he constantly asks you if you like what he's done or not, while also insisting that he knows better about decorating

you'll most likely end up being taken out to a party or a club with teddy

where he literally will not shut up about how good you look, and brags to everyone that you're together

but if parties and crowds aren’t something you’re comfy with or they’re just not your thing, he’ll stay at home with you for a quieter night in together

there are a few parents in new orleans who just don’t care enough about their children, so you end up getting a few trick or treaters at the lobo mansion

he gets bored in between waiting for more trick or treaters and nearly eats all the candy

in his defence, he was left unsupervised (as you were literally right next to him attempting to take the candy bowl from him)

it’s funny watching teddy not know how to interact with kids (you half expected him to bring out a bowl of little baggies of cocaine for trick or treaters)

and since he’s being deprived of people to brag about you to, he ends up yapping to these poor kids about how he’s dating you

tries using gen alpha/brainrot slang. fails miserably

you give the kids extra candy for their troubles and drag teddy inside

to satisfy his need to brag about you to people, he posts nearly hundreds of photos of you and him in your costumes (mainly you with not so subtle indications that he was with you when the photos were taken)

gets so excited about carving pumpkins with you 

buys pumpkins to carve and gets soooo pissy when he's not immediately perfect at it

even more so if yours turns out better than his

eventually he’ll act like he doesn’t care about it - as if it wasn’t his idea - and he’ll carve like a penis or something dumb on his pumpkin

if you watch a scary movie that doesn’t scare you, teddy tries acting so tough and brave when he’s attempting to sneakily hide behind you for half of the movie

if you’re scared by the movie he’s so relieved. he makes fun of you at first, and denies being scared when he’s literally hiding under a blanket with you

the night ends with lots of cuddling as teddy talks your ear off before eventually drifting off to sleep

I'm thinking about Renfield and halloween again....

Halloween would've been a difficult time for him for so long, since I think that Dracula absolutely despises It and everyone who takes part In It, and so therefore Renny was never able to experience It. Dracula definitely sees all the children and adults dressing up as him as a form of mockery - so of course he gets angry. Halloween Is always the perfect time to go on an anger fueled rampage, or to force Renfield to fetch him those who dare to put on fake plastic teeth or wear capes.

He also never experienced halloween before Dracula, since In england It's never really been that popular nor as extravagant and over the top as halloween In america - so he's never had any experience with trick or treating or pumpkin carving or decorating. Dracula only made the holiday worse for him.

Every year he dreads having to count down the days, planning the path through the city, preparing materials to Incapacitate victims, and packing his and Dracula's bags. The day comes, and the bloodbath begins. He's always forced to watch, like a parent watching their child scoff down the sweets they collected. And then they move to another city or country and the timer restarts.

He never understood why people could be so happy on halloween when he would feel terror and misery the moment the leaves changed colour. But with Dracula dead, he can finally reclaim the holiday.

What was once a day full of blood and the screams of victims as they were fed on Is now a day of warm drinks and scarfs and fake cobwebs. He Is taking back all of the terrifying things that he had to suffer through and now he's decorating his home with them. Plastic spiders and bats are scattered across his home and hung from the ceiling, and he can finally be one of those people wearing vampire fangs and a cape.

Mark holds a special meeting for the DRAAG members to exchange sweets and drink hot chocolate and dress up the week before halloween, and Rebecca binge watches old horror movies with him for the entire day and halloween Is finally safe.

I've been in an autumnal mood as it's raining outside. I'm imagining doing autumnal stuff with Speebs!

Apple-bobbing with Speedwagon and having to hold his hair back when he dunks his head in the bucket. Bonus points if he doesn't even catch the apple lol.

Throwing sticks into a conker tree to get some really big conkers.

Writing with sparklers at Bonfire night. Or alternatively, sewing a Guy that looks like Dio.

Going to a pumpkin patch and finding the best pumpkin. We can't even carry it back and have to call Jonathan for help!

Making gingerbread with Erina. Eating half the dough when she's not looking.

Making Halloween costumes. Erina and Jonathan went as a vampire and his bride, so I went as a vampire slayer and Speedwagon went as Renfield. We all paint each other's faces, take silly photos....

And toilet-paper Dio's castle because he won't give us any sweets and says we're "too old for Halloween."

Spike nods to Buffy as he leaves her house. She watches him leave and feels her body start to go after him. She would have followed him, her body was following him. She only stopped because Willow spoke from behind her. “So big monster bashing sorry we missed it.”

She couldn’t even bring herself to punish Dawn she had Giles do it. She just couldn’t be near the front door anymore. She knew if she spent anymore time near it she would follow her body and be leaving.

Buffy quickly ran up the stairs trying to escape the thoughts running through her head and the front door.

Later that night Buffy Is trying to fall asleep, but she can’t she is tossing and turning not getting any sleep. Both parts of her the girl and the slayer are fighting each other. After what feels like hours Buffy gets out of bed and slips her jeans and the pink lace Cami she had on earlier maybe if she did a late night sweep it would tire her out. Slaying usually does.

She enters Renfield cemetery and looking for any possible vampire or demon, nothing. Nothing in the last two cemeteries either. She looks up at the sky. “The forces of darkness can’t give me one vampire.” She quietly says as she passes another grave. “That’s all I ask.”

Without even realizing it her feet led her to the all too familiar crypt that she was in earlier tonight; spikes crypt.

Spike returning home got himself some blood and decided to go downstairs, he was going to read some poetry maybe write some if he was in the mood.

He’s laying on his bed shirtless in just his jeans when he hears the door above open. He quickly shuts the book and puts it back on his bookcase. He hears footsteps above and can hear a heartbeat. Before he even has time to cross the lower half of his crypt, he sees his late night intruder.

“Buffy? What are you doing here?”

She looks around his bedroom, last time she was here she didn’t have that good of a view she was chained up and he told her he loves her. Since then he got a four poster bed, a bookcase, laid down many Persian rugs so the floor is not the cold ground.

“You’re right it is posh down here.”

He lets out a little smile she remembered a couple weeks ago when he told her that right after she came back and he found her in his crypt just like tonight.

He doesn’t say anything doesn’t want to ruin the moment or bring her back to her senses that she’s in his bedroom. He watches as she takes off her shoes and makes her way to his black satin sheets.

Buffy curls up on his bed she looks so small, after a couple moments looks up at the speechless vampire. Her broken and exhausted eyes look up into his speechless eyes.

“Can you just lay here with me.”

He nods and lays on his side of the bed. They both are facing each other it’s quiet for a couple minutes then she says. “I’m sorry you missed the great pumpkin.”

He chuckles and she lets out a little smile as he reaches out and tucks apiece of hair behind her ear and cups her cheek. “It’s fine luv there’s always next year, maybe you can watch it with me next year.”

She nods as she moves closer to him, her head is snuggled into the crook of his neck and her body is melding into his.

Spike gulps he can not believe his night. He doesn’t understand how his night went from just going to watch the great pumpkin to helping find dawn and kill some vampires to now he is cuddling with the slayer. The women he loves sought him out, and asked him to lay down with her. More shockingly she snuggled into him. Spike would punch himself to make sure he’s not dreaming but if he is he never wants to wake up. He can smell her shampoo commercial hair. This is the best Halloween he has ever had.

Buffy reaches out to his other hand and takes it placing it on her hip so he is holding her as she sleeps. He leans down and kisses the top of her head. She snuggles more into him.

There is no way he is sleeping tonight he is going to cherish this moment forever. Buffy finally falls asleep she feels safe and comfortable. She feels at home in his arms being surrounded by his scent and him.

Blog 13: It's been 2 weeks

And nothing much has happened, just small things. You can find various shorter posts, probably, I know I told the story of almost getting lost at night in a housing tract.

As you know, it was hot this week, and so I went swimming. I always take to things like that nervously, how do you get to the pool and back (answer: barefoot on the way back), how long do you stay at the pool (answer: couldn't be longer than 2 hours), what if someone looks at you funny at the pool. Actually, someone did have a fit, aparently some kids jumped the fence--silently--and the guy let their very presence ruin his Sunday with his little daughter, and they kept telling him, very eloquently, to mind his own business and not start a scene in front of her, and then called him a Karen. It was kind of funny, but sad of course, very un-neighborly and immature, and they got it on film. He said he'd just called the cops, I didn't let it stop me because he didn't, he did not stop yelling at them long enough to make any call. Both parties left before I'd finished Instructions for a Heatwave, which I mentioned in some other post. The instructions are bits of laws supposedly from the 1976 heatwave about not stealing water, not using water for frivolous purposes. The laws had it laid out, but it said drinking water was okay but it never mentions cooking with water. Some things like bread use water instead of milk, but other things require quarts of water to boil and then throw the water away.

I'd been eating at Jack In The Box a lot last week because I like their pumpkin spice eggrolls (croissants) but I hate their pumpkin spice milkshake and their monster taco is only good reheated as if they don't let their cheese melt properly. Their chicken teriyaki bowl is getting smaller and smaller.

I started The Pisces but it has such mixed reviews and it seems so mean. I see reviews for all manner of books that use the word vulgar negatively, well I think that part is interesting, all the gross stuff, but it's mean. I watched Renfield which was also gross, silly action where people explode into vicera. Both properties have group therapy and both poke fun at the idea that your boss could be abusive. But in Renfeild his boss (the specific person he is in therapy over) comes to a meeting and kills everyone, a typical fear of people with abusive partners in group, but it's not like you can turn people away especially not manipulative people. I thnk the movie has a lot to say but some of it went over my head, "there's more Renfeild-type-people than Dracula-type-people." In The Pisces she is a writer living in her rich sisters house over summer, she's her own boss and she's just dealing with agents and dogs. And now suddenly I'm the mean one for saying that. It's one of the Group members that says she has a pattern of abusive bosses, and it's like, yeah, we all do (except people with no boss) that doesn't make it okay. I'm gonna read the Pisces until the fabled mermaid sex all the reviews have as a sticking point.

Other stuff I watched this year: season 5 of what we do in the shadows, amc’s interview with the vampire, 1994 interview with the vampire (probably like 10 times at least hghg), the lost boys (again. An unreasonable amount of times), I watch so many movies but a new one that really stuck out to me and that I enjoyed a lot was renfield!!

Currently listening to: nothing in this moment but I love pretty hate machine and the downward spiral (album) so much, nin my beloved

Current obsession: THE VAMPIRE CHRONICLES!!! Especially the rule 63 version i love lesbianifying my favorite characters but just in general I love it so much. I can’t do anything without going “woah this is just like (vc reference)…”
