The new tax season, TY 2022-2023, has already started at the beginning of July 2022 as usual, and it is going to last till the end of June 2023. Truckers and trucking taxpayers must report their Highway Heavy Vehicle Use Tax (HVUT) for the whole tax period in advance around the beginning of the tax period. As per the IRS regulations, the last date to file and pay the form 2290 truck tax for this tax period, TY 2022-2023, is August 31, 2022. So, truckers should file their form 2290 tax returns to the IRS on or before the last date and get the IRS stamped schedule 1 copy to operate their trucking business on the public highways smoothly. Truckers and trucking taxpayers should remember that form 2290 HVUT due doesn’t fall on the due date of the vehicle’s registration. Form 2290 HVUT is absolutely necessary to register your new vehicle or renew your existing vehicle registration on its due date. So, tuckers should report form 2290 HVUT for every tax season before the deadlines, which is irrelevant to the heavy vehicle’s registration due date. @pay2290 @thinktradeinc @tax2290 @irs2290 @irs2290 @2290efile @2290tax @bigwheels2290 @trucktax2290 @trucktax2290

Lore time
Meet the USS Wisconsin, an Iowa-Class Battleship launched on December 7th, 1943, the second anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack. She served throughout the Second World War, Korean War, Vietnam War, and was recommissioned and modernized in 1988 to serve in the Gulf War, before being permanently decommissioned in 1991 and serving as a museum ship at Norfolk, Virgina, from 2006 onwards.
After her modernization, she was armed with 9 16in Mark 7 guns, 12 5in Mark 12 guns, 32 BGM-109 Tomahawk cruise missiles, 16 RGM-84 Harpoon Anti-Ship missiles, and 4 20 mm Phalanx CIWS systems.
After the Brotherhood of Steel recommissioned and made mission-worthy the Nimitz-Class aircraft carrier USS George Washington, which they rechristened the BoSS Renewal, they set to work recommissioning the Wisconsin, under the previsionary designation of the BoSS Retribution. It is a slow-going process, as the George Washington was a fully-functioning vessel that simply had to be repaired of 200-odd years of disuse, whereas the Wisconsin has had entire systems removed and weapons systems disabled, which will take enormous amounts of manpower and effort, as well as retrofitting the ship to function off of a water-seal reactor similar to that of their flagship carrier.
The annexation of Pittsburg and its steel and ammunition plants have made the process of recommissioning the Wisconsin much easier on the Brotherhood, and she is predicted to be ready for launch sometime in 2290.

Why you should pay your HVUT tax on time
Truckers lead a busy life - most of it spent on the road, delivering goods across the country. But no matter how busy your schedule is, you must ensure that you pay your tax on time, and here’s why:
1.Paying your tax on time allows you to avoid penalties and interest. If you skip the form 2290 filing deadline, the penalty accrues on a daily basis. On top of that you will need to pay an interest of 5% as all. This means the amount you end up paying will be much more hefty than your actual tax amount.
2. Paying your tax on time helps you stay compliant. Tax evasion is a punishable offence. Even failing to report the errors in paying taxes can pave the way to unwanted tax evasion problems such as penalties and imprisonment. The IRS takes strict action against tax evaders. You could lose your vehicle and can even end up spending jail time.
3.You will be able to avoid losing future refunds. If the IRS owes you a refund, and if you fail to file your form and pay your tax, the IRS can deduct the tax amount from your refund amount. They can also freeze the refund till you pay the tax.
4.When you pay your tax on time, you will be able to safeguard your credit. If the IRS files a tax lien against a taxpayer, it could affect credit scores and make it harder to get a loan. This will be troublesome if you intend to start a business or buy property in the United States.
5.When you e-file online with an IRS approved service provider like eform2290, you will be able to avail filing discounts and file your forms at a lower price, all the while saving time and effort. Eform2290 sends you your Schedule 1 in a matter of minutes which is mandatory when you visit your state DMV to renew registrations.
