This weekend, we remember those who died in #thegreatwar #100years ago. Legions of men torn asunder by fire and shell to lie silent in the sod beneath our feet (some not even fully mature). Today... we occupy a world still plagued by continual #conflict and #senseless violence. We must consider whether picking up arms against each other profits anyone other than the #weaponmongers and #warprofiteers ... those who pull on the strings of brutality to line their pockets with gold. I #salute those brave young soldiers of the past who took part in something so tragically devastating, that it still gives the majority of us pause, when our blood runs hot.
