For ship bingo: cretch :')
I think this is crowley x ketch which fkdjghskfjdhsgkjdfs obsessed with you
OKAY HEAR ME OUT. i was originally like haha Crowley and Ketch so funny but like I actually really love it?? LIke they know of each other from before in a working relationship sense but I think post Chuck, if they got a chance, they'd be really good for each other!! They're theeeee ultimate ex-of-my-ex trope!!! (the ex being Dean). Explanation under the cut!
new ship bingo!
They're both the laughing stocks of being rejected by multiple winchesters (Crowley had been rejected by Sam in the Chapel and by demon and regular Dean / Ketch had been rejected by Mary and later Dean in Apocalypse world) + they lost so much reputation and power and have been shamed out of their community
But what would bring them together is that they've both had this huge arc where they genuinely want to do better and specifically because of Dean, who they both had palpable tension with, but Dean's too busy being in love with Cas for either of them to even be actually considered
They'd start of friends with benefits to let off steam etcetc but then like they're just lying there in post-sex haze and they're both so god damn lonely so they start to talk about their lives and how tf did they even get here? A King of Hell and British Men of Letters, one of them would make the joke that it's almost like the opposite of an Angel of the Lord and a Hunter; but it would sound a little too wistful so in the hush of the night, they'd open up about that--how Dean wouldn't give them a second glance, not with an actual angel on his shoulder
And they'd open up about other stuff, about their regrets and their mistakes. How much they want to make things right but they're so overwhelmed by all the crap they did so where the fuck do they even begin?
Ketch telling Crowley he always knew he was destined for hell and Crowley would genuinely be confused like, didn't you think you were helping people? Didn't you think this was all for the greater good? Ketch wouldn't have an answer but Crowley would let it go because he gets it
The moment they realize who Rowena is would be funny and would break the tension from all the earlier, more intense conversations. Rowena is obviously still a sore subject for Crowley but there's something about his mother being the one to have given Ketch the hex bag to keep him alive so he could pretend to be his own twin, like even Crowley wouldn't be tacky enough to pull that stunt, but he would admit that he's faked his own death before
So they laugh and bond over faking their own deaths to the Winchesters and just realize just how similarly their relationship with the Winchesters had progressed. From hating them as humans/hunters to reluctant allies to working with the Winchesters' loved ones without the brothers knowing (crowstiel and maryketch) to having the brothers work for them and oh boy isn't that a fun power trip to being actual enemies + going after their loved ones (Ben and Lisa, Mary) + trying to kill them
Then they'd sit in silence until they both say "messy" at the same time and laugh and in the shadows of the night, they see and understand each other in a way that no one else has and they would find each other's humour endlessly amusing and this time when their heart skips a beat, it's not accompanied by the pit in their stomach of unrequited feelings. lying together like this, it feels full of potential and a hope of happiness, and they don't love each other in this moment but when they look at each other, they're like 'i could'
#like detch was always a haha ketch has it so bad for dean but he doesn't stand a chance what a loser#crowley was the same but sadder#but then put them together and ooof#they'd actually be...so good for each other?#uh#cretch#<- cannot believe this is a tag for me now#anyways tysm bestie i have no god damn clue if this is even what you wanted but uhhh here you go?#alex tag 🧠#mailbox#ship bingo

1. All Angels Need Their Wings - RATING: NC-17 | LENGTH: 29,784 (2012)

So now he runs, from both Heaven, Hell and from Dean.
4. Small Problem - RATING: NC-17 | LENGTH: 13,310 (2011)
A cursed artifact has made Castiel miniature, it's amusing for the Winchesters at first until they realize he might stay that way forever. Slash Dean/Castiel Please R&R
5 My Broken Angel - RATING: M | LENGTH: 24,999 (2010)
When Castiel disappears from his vessel, Dean is concerned. But when Castiel reappears and seems to avoid him, Dean is heartbroken. Set mid-season 5.
6. A Hand - RATING: M | LENGTH: 23,474 (2010)
Dean/Cas, multichapter, slight AU. Dean's busy trying to re-soulify his brother, but Cas needs help. Maybe it's time Dean gave it to him. Ch. 15: Dean glared indignantly. "I find the term 'lovebirds' to be offensive. We prefer to be called 'sex-falcons.'"
7. Saving Grace - RATING: PG-13 | LENGTH: 38,602 (2010)
With everything that was going wrong in Dean's life, it took him a while to realize that the person close to him that really needed the most help was Castiel.
8. Candy - RATING: PG-13 | LENGTH: 98,068 (2013)
The Fall from Heaven changed everything. The supernatural no longer hidden. Angels roaming the planet. Sam and Dean's immediate concerns were on a smaller scale. What do you do with the former King of Hell? Where is Castiel?... Destiel/Mute!Human!Cas/Angst!Dean
9. Dude, Dean Looks Like a Lady - RATING: M | LENGTH: 20,774 *gen/pre-slash* (2013)
Sam's good, Cas has been found, and demons everywhere seem to be on hiatus. Seems like things are looking up for Team Free Will that is until Dean wakes up with his very own vagina anyway. Warnings: Fem!Dean, Destiel, female masturbation and S8 spoilers.
10. Evil Intent, Trials of Love, & Finding My Angel - RATING: NC-17 | LENGTH: 36,729, 70,453, & 59,941 *rape, graphic torture, violence* (2009)
Anna rapes Castiel and uses a method that torments him more than anything imaginable. WARNING: Rape and Castiel/Dean makes sense when you read it . If you don't like then don't read!
11. Cascade - RATING: PG-13 | LENGTH: 44,626 (2013)
"And if you fall as Lucifer fell, you fall in flames!" An 8x23 coda.
12. Count The Cracks, Hear The Shatters, Feel The Insanities - RATING: PG-13 | LENGTH: 44,626 *gen/pre-slash* (2013)
They've walked miles on gravel roads that led to hell and back but the journey never quite ends. This is the story of Castiel and the Winchesters after the angels fell from heaven. Post Season 8.
13. Damn Straight & Wait Wait Wait - RATING: PG-13 | LENGTH: about 21,000 (2010)
Humorous Cas/Dean, with multiple POVs. Slight AU. Fluffy. Ch. 5: Sam sat in the Impala in the motel parking lot, praying that three and a half hours at the library had been long enough.
14. Entertaining Angels - RATING: PG-13 | LENGTH: 43,659 *gen/pre-slash* (2008)
A strange boy shows up at Dean and Sam’s motel room. Maybe he needs help, or maybe he’s there to help them—they can’t quite tell. Spoilers through 4.10. Not an OC.
15. Happy Friggin’ Valentine’s Day - RATING: PG-13 | LENGTH: 22,771 (2010)
SLASH. It all started with Dean's perfectly healthy hatred of frivilous holidays and a much-coveted sack of dust. Poor Castiel doesn't fully understand 'romance' to begin with, and this crash course is most unwelcome.
16. I’m Just a Love Machine - RATING: PG-13 | LENGTH: 29,200 (2011)
The Impala finally gets the chance to love Dean back. The problem is, Castiel seems to be in its way.
17. It’s The Great Destiel Shipper, Sam Winchester - RATING: PG-13 | LENGTH: 49,641 (2012)
What's Sam really doing all that time on the computer? Fangirling. Over Chuck's Supernatural books. Now Wincest might be a bit too much to deal with, but Destiel he might be able to get on board with... Especially after being around the two people involved for three days straight.
18. Pain in the Head - RATING: PG-13 | LENGTH: 78,771 *character death* (2011)
It started out slow. "Since when do angels have headaches?" "Since they become human." Established Dean/Cas. Sort of AU. PG-13. Complete.
19. Sleep in Heavenly Peace - RATING: PG-13 | LENGTH: 45,517 *christmas fic* (2013)
Dean wants to have a nice, peaceful Christmas for once, but it seems like the universe won't let him. Dean/Castiel. Post-8.08 (Hunteri Heroici) AU. First in "Holidays With the Winchesters are Always Fun."
20. The Shattered One - RATING: PG-13 | LENGTH: 94,021 *grace mpreg* (2012)
When it struck Castiel, it dropped him out of the sky. He set down the first place he could find. He stood in a field in Switzerland, swaying on his feet and staring down at his body, dazed by what it had just done.
21. This Cupid Isn’t Stupid - RATING: PG-13 | LENGTH: 41,572 (2012)
Dean receives a shock when he wakes up to discover Castiel has returned. Why is the angel suddenly back? Why have his powers dimmed? And.. Why are he and Dean joined together by an invisible rope!
22. Wild Horses, Cas - RATING: PG-13 | LENGTH: 23,505 (2013)
(S8 Spoilers (story is set in S9), Sickfic! Destiel, Minor Sabriel). When Cas comes down with a bad case of Pneumonia it leaves Dean feeling more protective over his friend than ever, but will it also lead to Dean's admittance of his feelings towards his friend?
23. Wrong - RATING: PG-13 | LENGTH: 51,384 (2010)
Angels are not supposed to drop out of the sky into motel rooms, broken and beaten. They're not supposed to bleed like that. It was all wrong.
24. The Reluctant Contestant - RATING: PG-13 | LENGTH: 50,502 (2012)
AU When Gabriel is hired as a new host for a dating show, Cas has no choice but to follow his brother along as part of the camera crew. Forced at the last minute to be a contestant, he is shocked when Dean Winchester continually refuses to eliminate him.
25. The Ugly Duckling - RATING: PG-13 | LENGTH: 81,676 (2012)
Castiel: a nerdy, skinny thing with a crush on the the most popular guy in class. Being unpopular isn't easy and it's worse when the homophobic school figures him out. A small struggle to be noticed by his crush is turned into a huge struggle for himself and his dignity. But bullying can get the better of anyone. Slash. Destiel rated M for later chapters.
26. Nameless - RATING: PG-13 | LENGTH: 77,882 (2013)
AU. Everyone has the name of their soulmate written on their wrist at birth. Well, everyone except Dean Winchester. Complete.
27. Cufflinks - RATING: M | LENGTH: 61,845 (2012)

Little did they know what they were getting into.
28. Angel Training - RATING: M | LENGTH: 95,700, Angel Training 2: Save Us - RATING: M | LENGTH: 76,888, & Angel Training 3: Uprising - RATING: M | LENGTH: 89,512 (2011)

30. The Holiday - RATING: M | LENGTH: 32,088 (2011)
Castiel and Sam are unlucky in both life and love, so they swap houses for the holidays. Both find the experience highly...interesting. Dean/Castiel Sam/Gabriel
31. And In Your Arms I Shall Find Shelter- RATING: M | LENGTH: 33,824 (2012)
Dean Winchester is a long forgotten painter who suddenly receives an order for a painting from a rich man - Crowley. He is about to start painting when Castiel - his personal reaper visits him. The main question is: Will Castiel give Dean enough time to finish the painting?
32. Jar of Hearts - RATING: PG-13 | LENGTH: 127,192 (2013)
February being the supposed 'month of love' people seem to forget that it's also one of the coldest times of the year. Valentine's Day themed events in a cafe turned bar is how Dean managed the courage to speak to the locally famous singer and somehow score a date, a relationship, and a man he didn't deserve out of the deal. Destiel college/uniAU some Sabriel

dean never enters a coma bc the cabin at the end of s1 goes a completely different direction, so john survives the kickoff to s2 only to be killed by lilith in order to break the first seal. raphael shows up for the first time in s3, drops the atomic bomb that god is dead and heaven wants the war over with, and leaves. the princes are lucifer's nephilim, hence sam with angel blood, making him a suitable vessel for lucifer but also a potential heir to the throne of hell INSTEAD of lucifer--- which was possibly azazel's plan all along. meg replaces ruby in "guiding sam onto the right path". castiel doesn't make an appearance until the apocalypse has already begun. crowley has mommy AND daddy issues this time around. sam's powers get exponentially stronger after he kills azazel with his mind because he absorbs his grace. crowley and meg still become enemies because they're too busy juggling players and trying to avert the apocalypse to notice the other is NOT a lilith loyalist. rowena is the greatest necromancer in the world and she's stuck in eternal service to a prince of hell. john figured out sam was going to be lucifer's vessel in s1 and made sure azazel would die... inadvertently setting that plan in motion as azazel was trying to stop it from happening. the prophet makes a demon deal to try and save john, believing it's necessary to keep all three winchesters alive, and screws them all royally in the process. their vision journals are lost for an entire year when ash dies so when they're finally found, no one has time to read them closely enough to realize they're NOT supposed to kill lilith. bela worms out of her deal in time for her n meg have a reluctant team up. king of hell sam AND antichrist sam AND insane cannibalism era sam AND he's a little queer for the prophet. it's fantastic im having a blast.
cant stop thinking abt my extremely complicated peggy sue-esque fic where prophets are introduced wayyyy earlier, like practically pre-series, and the early plotlines all start overlapping like crazy as everyone realizes the apocalypse might be on the way in season 1. like if kevin actually had chuck's ability to see the future related to the coming apocalypse and was also hanging out with sam and dean while john was missing, informing them of this, but with no context so every guess they make about what's happening is a huge risk. like wtf are they supposed to do if they get a sudden vision of s4 sam ripping someone's throat out with his teeth with absolutely zero context? not tell anyone so sam doesn't get hurt, and try and avert fate themself, of course. which will certainly go well.
#i cant explain any of it coherently but please rest assured im genuinely batshit about it#every time i think about it and try to work out a coherent chain of events i feel like i need a red string board.#talking abt it is like snorting cocaine#my fic

*THE* mean-girl-dean-girl's Supernatural reboot MEGAPOST!
I'm gonna stick a little "keeping reading" here because hoooooo boy, this is a very long post.
Let's start with
Plot
Season 1
Dean kills John while they are out on a hunt in a crime of passion, but Dean doesn't remember because he blacked out. Cue Dean going to Stanford to get Sam and tell him "Dad's on a hunting trip... and he hasn't been home in a couple days."
The audience doesn't know what happened to John, but slowly figures it out with Dean and Sam as Dean slowly remembers what happened that night.
The entire first season, the boys are following the trail John left and fighting monsters as well. They find out Dean was with John, Sam realizes Dean has an unreliable memory, they have heart to hearts about their childhood and the fire, they find John's body, "how could you kill Dad?" but maybe Dean didn't kill dad, whooaaaaaa, misdirection.
It was actually good ole yeller eyes (Azazel) and he made it look like Dean killed John.
Okay, now let's move on to the first episode
Not sure how the opening would work, I would like the story of the fire to be revealed over the course of the first season, but maybe the opening scene could be a little bit of an establishing character relationships and backstory, idk, I haven't thought that far yet.
I'm thinking maybe it's like, Dean gets back to a motel room covered in blood and he listens to a voicemail on his phone from John saying he was on a hunt or something, I don't really know lol.
HOWEVER
I do know that after the intro rolls, we get a scene of Sam waking up to his alarm and "Nine to Five" by Dolly Parton starts playing.
Y'all know where this is going.
Cue a montage of Sam's normal Stanford college life (him sitting through lectures, walking through the campus with friends) spliced with scenes of Dean absolutely slaughtering a nest of vampires (or some other monsters, whatever works best.)
But
Now onto
Characters!!! (And descriptions)
Dean Winchester
Some lovely person on this site made edits of Dean with platinum blond hair and it made me feel some kind of way so we're doing that, homie's gonna have platinum blond hair
Side note about the hair, later when the brothers are running from the FBI he dyes it a dirty blond/light brown (insert jackles hair color controversy here) as a disguise.
He also gets tattoos because we were robbed.
Speaking of tattoos, concept: when Dean comes back from Hell, all of his tattoos are gone. His body is a clean slate, devoid of tattoos, scars, etc. So he gets his tattoos done all over again, which he doesn't mind because he made some bad, drunk tattoo decisions in his youth.
(And before you ask, yes, he does get one for Cas, either a bee or Cas's name in enochian, something cute.)
Dean goes to therapy after Sam gets sent to the Cage.
It's actually court mandated because he got in trouble, lol, he would never go to therapy on his own.
Along with the hair, Dean gets to be the grade A twunk we all know he is.
Sam Winchester
His hair gets longer in every scene he's in
No jk, but imagine
King of Microaggressions
Sam starts off like the sweetheart he is in season 1 but in later seasons he starts enjoying killing a little too much...
It's that demon blood, ba-by!!!
He brings up issues of morality to Dean, i.e. killing monsters who aren't hurting anyone. (Yes I know this is contradictory to my previous statement, but these two facets of Sam can and will coexist.)
Sam and Jess's relationship is explored further, meaning we'll need to start with a different inciting incident, but that's fine, I think everyone can agree fridgings are *(thumbs down)*
Sam doesn't truly know what happened the night of the fire until later, and then he understands why Dean is so protective of him.
Jess
She gets to live beyond the first episode
She is also trans
No, I don't feel like I have to explain myself and I won't 💜
She urges Sam to join Dean in a search for their brother, kind of gets pulled into the hunter lifestyle by association lol.
She dies on a rusty nail after fighting vampires on a routine hunt with Sam
No jk!!!
But imagine....
She's amazing and I love her and Lucifer also uses her as leverage against Sam and possesses her because I think that'd be cool.
She supports Sam 100% and also she and Dean are buddies, pals if you will.
She meets Cas Thee El and immediately she Knows, that is a homosexual.
She dies still so that we can have a Saileen Endgame but she's not dying the first episode or in a fridging. Not on my watch.
Castiel
He gets to keep his raw, light-fixture-exploding power.
I want more of that "I pulled you out of hell, I can throw you back in" energy except over dumb shit like Dean not cleaning up after himself.
He looks like a Dilf in every scene he's in, yeah, that's right, dilf with a capital D for *(GUNSHOTS)* *(gets sent to horny jail)*
Claire
She gets pink hair
And more time with Cas
And maybe a nose piercing
Feel like she should be able to kill a couple angels onscreen, punch a couple homophobes
She gets to meet Jack and teaches him swears and fun slang words.
She deserves it.
Jack
I says "that's my baby and I'm proud."
Jack starts off as a baby, but like Amara he grows up super quickly.
Like, baby to 11 year old in a couple days or less.
This is because Jack's emotional age on the show is on par with that of a 5th grader.
It's at this point when he's a young kid that he runs away from the Bunker and shenanigans ensue.
It's also at this point that Dean threatens to k*ll him.
(Still not sure if I want that in my Supernatural (threatened infanticide? In my Supernatural? It's more likely than you think) but we'll see. We'll see.)
Throughout a majority of season 13, Jack is like an 11 y.o. kid
Season 14 he's like a 16 y.o. teenager
Season 15 he's 21, you get the picture.
Listen, I love Alex Calvert a lot. He's great.
But Jack is a child and should be a child.
Kelly Kline
Kelly, baby, stay right where you are, you're perfect.
Eileen
SHE DOESN'T DIE
SHE GETS TO BE IN THE FINALE BECAUSE SHE'S AMAZING AND I LOVE HER.
BLURRY WIFE WHO? I ONLY KNOW SAILEEN ENDGAME!
She teaches Claire and Jack swears in sign-language. Castiel is not impressed.
John
J*hn W*nchester stans, DNI.
He's dead.
We only see him in flashbacks and only sometimes hear his voice in voice overs.
He's not "down the road" from Dean in Heaven, in fact he instead gets to wander around in some Purgatory like Hell for the rest of his time :)
People who get to say "fuck" on the show:
Cas (but only Once)
Jody
Bobby
Now onto other things
I want more of
Ghostfacers
(they need more screentime because I love them)
Dean/Benny
We know they had a thing.
They definitely had a thing.
Demon Dean
Again, I feel like more should've been done with this. All that build up for what, 2 episodes? was not utilized well at all.
Dean's Bisexuality
Straight Dean truthers DNI, my Supernatural is a show about love and being true to yourself
You think Supernatural is a show about 2 straight brothers fighting monsters?
Naw bitch, this is a show about the Gay Experience
He will get to have relations with men on this show.
Of course, only after John dies does he, y'know, display it. Maybe he kisses Cas on his dad's grave just to fuck John over, make him roll in grave.
We all agree John would be/is a homophobe piece of shit, right?
Okay, glad we're on the same page.
Dads
3 men and a baby with Jack is what I'm saying.
I love it when the Trio are father-figures to younger troubled characters they see themselves in, even better if it's like reluctant-but-loving father figure, oh, that trope gets me every time :'^)
Dadstiel and DadDean are my favorites, but I like it when Sam plays "Uncle Sam" to kids too lol.
"Fellas, is it gay to want a tight knit family with your husband, his son, his vessel's daughter, your brother, his wife, your cop mother figure and her wife and their adopted daughters? Asking for a friend."
Garth
Biggest flaw of Supernatural was underutilizing Garth.
I will never not be bitter that Garth was only in like, 7 episodes out of the whole 15 season series.
Every episode with Garth gets immediately 5 times better.
I love Garth.
Follow ups on characters who had entire episodes featured around them and then just... vanished???
This is mostly about Jesse, the magic kid whose imagination ruled an entire town like, his daddy was a demon and nothing came of that kid??? Only one episode about him?? No follow up???
KID CAN MANIPULATE REALITY AND WE'RE NOT GONNA GET A FOLLOW UP ON THAT?????
Uh, there was that one episode with Ennis the guy whose girlfriend was killed by a monster? I think?? Who we never see again, that was weird.
Tamara from season 3, episode 1.
And of course-
Cassie
She was so cool, and then we never saw her again :////
She gets to be a badass.
Religious imagery
As a former Catholic school student who has become for the most part, disillusioned with religion, religious imagery in TV shows like Supernatural make my brain go "brrrrrr."
Fun episodes!!!
Like, after season 6 or so, there's a drop in funny episodes
I'm talking Changing Channels, The French Mistake type stuff. (Scoobynatural is an outlier and should not be counted.)
So anyway
In my version we would have more fun episodes
I'm thinking
GENDER-SWAP EPISODE, BABY!!
(why they didn't do that in the original, we'll never know.)
An episode where Dean gets to wear eyeliner
That's it, end of post.
I want less
Racism
Yeah I feel like this is self explanatory, nearly every reoccurring character in SPN is white, and black side characters normally die in the episode they first appear in, or they'll be featured as a villain (Uriel, Raphael, Billie, etc)
Also there's a lot of... uh... asian fetishism featured in the show (what with "Busty Asian Beauties) that's really gross, also Kevin was a bit of a stereotype...
Also also it's super yucky how they kill the gods from other religions like???? Uh??? That's super disrespectful, let's not do that????
I know Supernatural is like, inherently racist because monsters are a separate race that are seen as some dangerous "other" that must be eradicated by hunters in a form of genocide-
Okay we won't get into that but
Still
Stop killing all your POC
Fridgings/Unecessary murders of female characters
I know Supernatural starts with a fridging, so this will be a hard thing to remedy, but
One death that really pissed me off was the death of Charlie
Yeah, that was pointless and we're not doing that. Charlie gets to live and be an awesome aunt to Jack.
And also Claire
Charlie Bradbury Superiority
Charlie and Garth get to meet because they're nerd/geek solidarity.
British Men of Letters
I fucking hate these guys
They're "litcherally" the worst.
The worst part is that the actors they have playing the British AREN'T. EVEN. BRITISH.
And you can tell
Uh, and that's all for now, I'll add more later.
tag list for people who liked my "if this post gets one like I'll post my SPN reboot masterpost" post.

What if in earlier seasons, Crowley was written as an amiable ally for the boys, rather than them disliking him. Imagine Crowley being established as “not as bad as other demons” in the Winchester’s eyes, as a semi-reluctant ally who – yeah, on occasion, puts his own interests first, but never directly threatens and even occasionally helps the boys. He’s still snarky, and he can still be an arse. But the boys know that as long as they don’t cross him, Crowley won’t mess with them. From Crowley’s end, that’s because keeping good relations with the infamous Winchester brothers is to his benefit. But then, they start to grow on him. And maybe he’s a little more lenient with the flannelled nightmares than he should be, a little indulgent, rolls his eyes and does a few favors for them. Which only further encourages the Winchesters, and later a less willing Castiel, to view him as a frenemy.
The rest of the early seasons is the same, except now, moving into season 6, the boys are willingly working with Crowley and Cas. They don’t like the idea of opening up Purgatory, but they understand that Hell and Heaven really do need to be taken in hand – and who else are they going to trust to do that? As things start to look really dark throughout that season, the boys start pushing back, start testing their relationship with both angel and demon, and Cas still betrays all of them and takes the souls for himself. And now there’s season 7, with Crowley working with the boys to stop Cas – Dean wanting to save him from himself, Sam and Crowley unhappily planning to kill the angel – Sam because he doesn’t think Cas can be saved, and Crowley because he wants his share of the Purgatory power. Unleash the Leviathans, and now we’ve got the King of Hell working closely and willingly with the boys to stop this new threat. Demons at their disposal, even. Which doesn’t put Crowley in a very good position in Hell, but he pushes on because it’s this or let the Leviathans eat the world. The Winchesters plus Crowley and a now restored Castiel manage to defeat the Leviathans, just as the demons rise up and dethrone Crowley. Hell is a free-for-all, and demons are loose in the world.
Then have all of season 8 be about demon in-fighting and the human casualties along the way. The boys work to get Crowley back on the throne, so he can restore some order. But that also means he’s temporarily dependent on them, in hiding with them from his former minions. Leads them to the Men of Letters legacy, which in turn leads to the bunker. Bring the British Men of Letters back in seasons earlier, alerted to the awakening of one of their old establishments in the States. Throw Abaddon into the mix, providing a competitor for Crowley laying claim to the throne, which would make him more susceptible to the help offered by the Winchesters, and unfortunately to the supposed support of the BMoL as well. By now, Crowley’s an unofficial member of Team Free Will, the boys well aware he chose saving the world (and them) over giving his full attention to Hell, leading to all this. There’s the sense that the four of them – plus Kevin and Charlie, at this point – are all in it together. Maybe even Meg is still around, maybe she’s trying to lead one of the demonic factions, and there is this whole I-care-about-you-but-we’re-on-opposite-sides between her and Cas. Crowley has softened, the same way Cas softened over time with exposure to humanity and the Winchesters.
Of course the tablets and Kevin came into play with the Leviathans. The BMoL reveal they have the demon tablet, and suggest Kevin might be able to find something on it to control demonkind and restore Hell. Big dramatic reveal to the Winchesters only, the BMoL admit that there is a means of closing the Gates of Hell permanently on the tablet – learned from a previous prophet whom, ahem, did not survive their duty – and now the Winchesters are torn between sparing the world from demons and betraying Crowley. Crowley, who is counting on them to help him get his throne back. Crowley who has begrudgingly and then more willingly worked cases with them while they’ve tried to find an answer to all of this. Crowley who led them to the MoL and the bunker in the first place. Who isn’t as bad as the rest of his kind, who Dean likes to go for a drink with and might even consider a friend. And just as the Winchesters decide they can find another way to close the Gates, Kevin discovers the necessary spell, and the BMoLs take advantage that there is a demon close at hand, and snatch Crowley to perform the demon trials.
And by the time the Winchesters race to his rescue – torn, because ending the trial means not closing the Gates, but damn it, he’s had their backs, so they’re going to have his – Crowley is in the last hour of the cure. Tells them to let it happen, let the trial be complete, the Gates slammed shut. His own soul restored. But there’s that whole thing with Metatron and Cas and the angels going on, so of course this is the moment the angels are cast out of Heaven. And Abaddon bursts in, maybe Meg comes to challenge her. And in all the chaos, the cure is never completed, time’s up, too late. The boys defeat the BMoLs, rescue Crowley, escape. Cas is lost somewhere in the world, human after what happened in Heaven.
Season 9 would be almost completely the same – Crowley’s blood addiction, searching for the Mark and the Blade, Abaddon, the angels, all of it – except, the Winchesters actually sympathize with Crowley. They express concern, ask after him, say maybe having regained something of his soul is a good thing. And Crowley is torn, because he can now really feel that affection he has for the boys, and he might very well have the option of a place among them, but also he knows Hell needs a ruler to keep demonkind in line, and he still likes power. The boys help him overthrow Abaddon, help him get clean of his blood addiction. Maybe there’s a scene where Crowley and Meg compare notes – he who went through the cure, and she who cares for an angel, neither of whom really fit with demonkind anymore. And by the time the season reaches the later episodes, with Crowley back on the throne and the boys working cases while trying to figure out what to do about Metatron, Crowley is an acknowledged, secret extension of Team Free Will. Makes changes to Hell, keeps demonkind under tight control, helps here and there on cases.
All of this, all of this headcanon, just to get to the point where the boys are always making side comments to Crowley about, you know, how if he wanted to give up Hell and join the three of them full time, he’d be welcome. Come on, just work one more case with us. Just this one about hellhounds. Just that one with vampires. Just one more, one more, one more. And Crowley acquiesces more than he knows he should. Cares about the boys and Cas more than he knows he should, hates Hell and demons more than he knows he should.
So that by the time the Mark takes Dean and turns him into a demon, it’s not only Sam and Cas that are hurt by it. It’s Crowley, too. Crowley who sees Dean turning into something truly evil, something worse than Crowley himself is now. And he agrees with Sam and Cas that he’ll take demon!Dean under his wing as his second-in-command in Hell until they find a cure, a cure for the Mark as much as for being a demon. Season 10 is all about Cas (who’s grace is fading) and Sam working to find a cure while working cases, and Crowley trying to keep Dean occupied with hunting down rebel demons and the like. He even sends the Knight of Hell after angels, to capture more grace for the fading Castiel. Throw Rowena – as Fergus’ ex-wife – in there, attempting to convince Crowley to share his throne with her, causing mischief. He would feel this deep sense of loneliness – demon!Dean isn’t the companion he was before the Mark, Rowena only wants power for herself ultimately, demonkind hates and is in open rebellion against him – and Crowley is beginning to admit to himself that he just doesn’t have this in him anymore, to be the kind of monster it takes to rule Hell. Maybe Dean even tries to take the throne from him, with Rowena’s help, and the acceptance by the demons of this alternative ruler is everything Crowley needs to finally break from old loyalties and the desire to rule, from demonkind entirely.
Realizing the situation is entirely out of control, Crowley, Cas and Sam work to capture Dean. They convince Rowena, who has now taken the throne of Hell for herself, to remove the Mark, thus removing a threat to her reign. Crowley makes an oath that if she will do this, he will never seek to retake the throne. An enraged demon!Dean is forced through the demon trials, in which he says the most horrible and hurtful things to Sam and Cas. And to Crowley, cuttingly demanding to know why the former king will put Dean through this, restore the hunter’s humanity, but not his own. Crowley doesn’t have an answer. He doesn’t have an answer because he realizes that, once, he would have said it was important he hold Hell, or that he wanted the power that came with being a demon, or that he was scared of facing what he’s done as a demon. In light of everything that has happened – the complete rejection by demonkind and the loss of Hell, the revulsion he feels after the aborted cure and Dean’s own time as a demon, and knowing he has a place here on Team Free Will – Crowley realizes he no longer has a reason not to complete the cure.
And in the last hour of the cure, with Dean almost entirely restored to himself, the hunter understands the demon better than ever before. Tells him, one of these days, it’s going to be Crowley in this chair, the cure coursing through him, the three of them gathered around him, supportive. And Crowley knows he’s right. It’s no longer a question of if – only when.
Once they’ve completed the demon cure, the boys set about removing the Mark, with Rowena’s help. And removing the Mark unleashes the Darkness in the world. In season 11, the Darkness should have been something much more insidious, and dangerous. A force which slithers into people, bolsters the innate darkness that is in everyone, turning people into their worst selves. And it controls demons utterly. They are mostly formed of the Darkness, after all.
And for Crowley and the cure, “when” is now. It is that, or fear turning on the people who used to teasingly ensnare him in “just one more case,” who would embrace him as one of them if only he’d allow it. And now, he’s finally ready for that.

StackedNatural Day 31: 7x05, 10x03, 11x03
StackedNatural Masterpost: [x]
October 21, 2021
7x05: Shut Up, Dr. Phil
Written by: Buckleming
Directed by: Phil Sgriccia
Original air date: October 21, 2011
Plot Synopsis:
Sam and Dean get caught in the middle of a feud between a married witch couple.
Features:
Hexed Romanian coins, Dean likes Bewitched, a complete lack of communication between a couple, feuding married witches, the boys catch a leviathan.
My Thoughts:
This episode is… fine? I guess? I didn’t really have any strong feelings throughout it at all, except mild frustration with the dialogue being clunky whenever the brothers talk to each other, especially when Sam is trying to get Dean to open up.
The deaths were pretty creative, but other than that there isn’t really that much going on in this episode. Even Dean’s ongoing alcoholism is explored in the least subtle, most boring way.
Honestly, for a Buckleming episode, it could be worse.
Notable Lines:
“There's always something eating at me. That's who I am. Something happens, I feel responsible, all right?”
Laura’s (completely subjective) Episode Rating: 5.5
IMdB Rating: 8.2
10x03: Soul Survivor
Written by: Buckleming
Directed by: Jensen Ackles
Original air date: October 21, 2014
Plot Synopsis:
Sam continues to try to save Dean from the Mark of Cain. Realizing that Dean's antics are causing problems for him in hell, Crowley seeks help from a reluctant Castiel.
Features:
Who is the real monster?, Crowley pines for Dean, Cas and Hannah road trip, Crowley provides angel first aid, Dean stalks Sam through the bunker, Dean is made human, Rowena arrives.
My Thoughts:
Ok to be honest I didn’t take good notes in these last two episodes because curly hair is a fucking bitch to manage and I was doing a wash day and maintain and blow dry. So I watched these two episodes during that time.
My sister @meg3point0 was miserable today and hated the episodes, I thought they were mostly kind of blah. Like yes, a day of only episodes written by Buckleming is always going to be bad, but honestly it could have been way worse, so I’m counting my blessings.
I think it’s very funny that Cas tries to subtly tell Hannah that he doesn’t want to fuck her. I’m obsessed with the way both of their minds work. It’s pretty fun to watch Dean stalk Sam through the bunker, although I wish we had gotten a more gradual shift from demon to human in the behaviour, not just in the ability to get out of the devil’s trap.
It is annoying how fast Crowley drops Dean. I want to see him pine pathetically more, and they could have made the demon Dean plot last a lot longer and done a lot more with it.
The Rowena introduction at the end did rule.
Notable Lines:
“You notice I tried to get as far away from you as possible? Away from your whining, your complaining. I chose the King of Hell over you! Maybe I was just … tired of babysitting you. Or always having to yank your lame ass out of the fire since …Forever. Or maybe … Maybe it was the fact that my mother would still be alive if it wasn’t for you.”
“You act like I want to be cured! Personally, I like the disease.”
Laura’s (completely subjective) Episode Rating: 6.5
IMdB Rating: 8.3
11x03: The Bad Seed
Written by: Buckleming
Directed by: Jensen Ackles
Original air date: October 21, 2015
Plot Synopsis:
Sam and Dean try to help Castiel recover from Rowena's spell, while searching for Amara who has now grown into a young girl. Rowena tries to use her powers to protect herself from the Winchesters, while Crowley tries to use Amara for his personal gain.
Features:
Rowena tries to form a mega coven, Cas continues to be a rabid dog, Sam’s deal with Rowena is revealed, Amara grows into a teenager.
My Thoughts:
Kind of fun Stacked coincidence that both of these episodes feature Crowley realizing he’s gotten in over his head after trying to use some kind of evil creature to his own ends.
This episode is the best of the bunch for me because it features Dean wrapping Cas in a little blanket at the beginning and then tenderly cradling his face after letting Cas kick the shit out of him. Like Destiel book ends!
The rest of the episode is mainly making Rowena look like a weak loser rather than the badass that she is, more clunky dialogue, the standard Buckleming sins. Unfortunate for all of us that they had seniority and got so many plot-heavy episodes.
Notable Lines:
“You must stay fixed on our purpose. Even we cannot undo what's already done. But as you grow and become stronger, your true destiny will become clear to you. I am what you are becoming. And we are mightier than God.”
Laura’s (completely subjective) Episode Rating: 6.9
IMdB Rating: 8.2
In Conclusion: We’re almost through this huge swathe of Buckleming episodes, guys. We can do it.

it’s I know what you did last summer (spn 4x09) and the angels and demons are fighting.
because anna milton has come out of the woodwork. she’s ostensibly a human. at one time an angel. tuned in to the celestial wavelengths. both a criminal and a tool.
but at the moment she’s just scared. her sanity’s slipped. she’s under attack. she’s all alone.
until ruby tells sam and dean to find her.
she says “the dean” like a noun. the one and only. the angels talk about you. you were in hell but castiel pulled you out, and some of them think you can help save us. and some of them don't like you at all.
she looks at sam for that last part. a nod to his demon blood. his special kid boy king destiny. but she’s also still talking to dean. because some of the angels don’t like dean.
uriel is one of them. says so during the barn showdown in the continuation ep heaven and hell (spn 4x10). he beats dean down. relishes the violence. the power. I've been waiting for this. he is, after all, a specialist.
in the same way that alastair is a specialist. smiting people, racking souls. the supernatural business.
cas, on the other hand, likes dean. and is sent away to be angel lobotomized while uriel creeps into dean’s dreams. because being disobedient is murder one and cas is suspect.
but we see cas struggle against his brainwashing. see him waver during the godzilla vs mothra showdown. he wants to be sorry. tries. but his questions, his doubts, his nascent feelings—they have been scooped out of him. carved from his grace. with a butter knife (probably by naomi).
cas is still draped with the flag of heaven. stands rooted to the spot while the fight rages on around him. trying desperately to navigate the fine line between following the rules but not enforcing the spirit.
sam is a good example. uriel has thrown dean down. ruby is incapacitated. so cas goes after sam and...doesn’t fight him. taps his forehead and puts him to sleep. his orders are to get anna and he doesn’t have to inflict violence to do that. won’t.
and it’s less about what’s being said and all about how cas looks. how he stares at all the convoluted emotional undercurrents flowing around him. how he watches anna kiss dean. offer him forgiveness.
cas wants that. only it’s not romantic. not yet. cas is still, as dean so tactlessly puts it, “junkless.” which reads more as a criticism of the angels lack of emotion than any lack of anatomy.
dean, however, is convoluting desire, wanting, covetness, connection--with sex. that’s what brought anna and dean together the night before. how they can relate to each other. to the author/father/god of it all. watching...silent...invisible...out on the road...sick for home...waiting on orders from an unknowable father I can't begin to understand.
so yeah, cas wants. or is learning to want. he sees the connections. dean to sam as family. dean to ruby as (reluctant) friends. dean to anna as lovers. and cas wants to be a part of all of that. he wants connections for himself.
and maybe it’s been going on for millenia. cas skirting the rules. not quite disobeying. or at least not enough to get him killed but enough to get him re-educated. after all, cas and anna have known each other a long time. so he’s seen rebellion up close and personal. seen its price.
but now he’s seeing its rewards.
and it all starts when dean winchester is saved. in raising dean from perdition cas begins his slow descent into disobedience. crash lands into free will. and what should have ultimately been humanity.
just like anna.
#or some angel human combo all his own#this 2 ep arc is really so interesting#ruby on tfw#cas as the quote-unquote bad guy#anna as the angel-human#sam as the human-demon#dean as the trifecta human-demon-angel#alastair and uriel being EXACTLY THE SAME#plus all the little things that happen in between!#spn#dean winchester#sam winchester#castiel#ruby the demon#anna milton

“You and me and the devil makes three”
Here is part two of “The devil may care” where Lucifer is going to be annoying and I get my revenge on Lucius and his pathetic friends.
As you might recall, I was kidnapped by some weak-ass, power-hungry demon called Lucius and two other demons. Anyhow, I wanted revenge and protect Crowley from these traitors. Look at me: a hunter trying to protect the king of hell, kinda ironic, isn't it? Anyway, I did require his assistance for this one. So I called him.
"Yes?" He answered in his usual, annoyed voice but I knew him well enough to know that he didn't mean it. "I need your help," I replied, smiling, I did miss talking to him. "Of course you do." He sighed theatrically. "Why does nobody call me just to say 'hello'?" He complained. I smiled and rolled my eyes, typical Crowley behaviour. "Quit whining and listen, I will be helping you too." "Alright alright, what do you need?" He then asked, now attentive.
“Do you know a demon called Lucius?” I asked straight away, not wasting any more time. “Uh, yeah sure, why?” Crowley answered after a short while of thinking. I then explained the situation and he was more than happy to arrange a meeting with the three bastards. The plan was to send them up to earth for a “special mission” where I was waiting with Gabriel and the Winchesters.
Gabriel was not too happy with my plan, arguing that my last encounter with the three demons didn’t end that well. However, I wasn’t going to let others do the dirty work for me and Gabe knew that so he gave in after a while. He insisted on staying close by my side the whole time tho, but I could live with that, as long as I was getting my revenge on my kidnappers.
Turns out he meant that quite literally, as he was walking so close to me our arms touched the whole time, while we were approaching an abandoned building. Crowley told me that was where the demons would appear. Dean was reluctant to believe him but we still followed his information.
Finally, we entered the building and almost immediately we spotted the three demons, standing in the middle of the wide entrance hall. “Are those the sons of bitches that kidnapped you?” Dean asked with a low but angry voice and I nodded with a grim smile on my face. Slowly we got closer, trying to sneak up on them, Gabriel right next to me as always. I could feel how tense he was, which surprised me, he as an archangel should have no reason to fear these low-level demons. It didn’t occur to me that he was afraid of me getting hurt or worse, as always I didn’t think of worrying about myself.
When we almost reached them they somehow sensed us and turned around to attack us. “Angel! Behind me!” Gabriel shouted but I didn’t listen to him and just leaped forward, pushing Lucius to the ground and stabbing him in the heart with an angel blade I picked up years ago. Gabriel took care of the one on the right while the left one was taken down by Sam and Lucifer. Wait what? Lucifer? When did he end up there? You’re probably asking yourself now.
I was asking myself the same questions as I stood up and faced Lucifer, who was grinning at me casually, with a confused frown. “What the hell are you doing here?” I asked him and the other ones looked at him cautions but also with confusion. “I was about to ask the same. I thought you were dead!” said Crowley, who just randomly appeared next to me, sourly. I jumped a little, I wasn’t expecting the demon to appear so suddenly. “Jeez, Crowley, don’t do that!” I murmured and then continued to stare at Lucifer, waiting for an explanation.
“Well, I was in the area and thought I could help.” Lucifer simply answered with his most innocent smile, while he looked at me. “So, you’ve been following us the whole time?” Sam asked, unnerved by the fact that Lucifer was watching us without our knowledge. Gabriel possessively put his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him, staring straight into his brother’s eyes. “You just wanted to help?” Dean asked, shortly after Sam, his tone dripping with sarcasm, obviously not buying his story.
“Yeah really!” Lucifer answered, apparently deeply offended. “Believe it or not but I actually enjoyed talking with Angelika while she was imprisoned and Gabriel wasn’t there.” He grinned provocatively at Gabriel while he said that. “So I wanted to help her.” He then continued. “Aha. Great. What’s your plan now?” Crowley intervened before anyone could react, although I could feel Gabriel tense at Lucifers reminder. Crowley seemed somewhat nervous, which was understandable when you take into account that Lucifer already stole his throne once. “Relax, I’m not interested in ruling hell.” Lucifer answered with a chuckle and turned to the rest of us again: “I wanna be a hunter!”
We all stared at him in shock, unable to process what he just said.”You wanna be a what?!” Sam asked, clearly hoping that he heard wrong. “I. Wanna. Become. A. Hunter.” Lucifer repeated slowly, watching us carefully. “Okay. Cool. Then good luck with that.” Dean finally said casually and started to turn around, hoping that he could get away like that. “Actually.” Lucifer started. “I was hoping you could teach me a little bit?” He continued hopefully, facing each of us separately. That was when I noticed that Crowley was gone, typical. “Absolutely not. Forget it.” Gabe then said, glaring at his brother.
“Why not tho?” I asked slowly, not as opposed as the others. The Winchesters looked at me in confusion, Gabe appeared horrified. “Let’s talk about this first.” Sam finally said and the four of us retreaded from Lucifer, who waited with a bored expression. We argued for a while and I could convince them to take him in, using the argument that we at least could keep an eye on him that way. Although Gabe was so not happy with that decision. When we reluctantly told Lucifer he beamed at us and pulled me into a tight hug.
“Uhm, excuse me-” Gabe interrupted annoyed and pushed Lucifer away from me. “That’s my girlfriend.” He glared murderously at him while he hugged me tightly to assert dominance. I smiled, mildly amused by the two angels. “Chillax bro, I just hugged her.” His grin was both provocative and innocent. “Yeah yeah. Sure.” Gabe snorted and tightened his grip around me. “Calm down boys.” I said, still smiling. “Let’s go home and celebrate.” The boys eyed Lucifer suspiciously but agreed with me and together we headed back to the Impala.

3. Royalty
Sam Winchester has grown. Castiel thinks this from the war room, sitting on a chair much too close to Dean to be considered anything but deliberate. Dean’s fingers are laced with his own under the table, his thumb moving sweetly over Cas’s knuckles, and Sam reiterates the plan. Gone is the floppy-haired, baby-faced boy itching for something more. Gone is the child who cried to his brother when he scraped his knees and asked for marshmallow fluff on his dinner. Sam Winchester sits on an office chair throne and gesticulates with a broken pencil, long hair pulled into a messy bun, stray tendrils framing his face as he earnestly speaks to the crowd.
And there is a crowd.
No longer a reluctant boy king, Sam Winchester holds court in his own home, ready and willing to lead his people through the coming war. He is a far cry from the child with a tainted soul. He is a different person than the one who ran away and attended Stanford and wanted out from this life. He knows who he is, now: brother, friend, hunter… true crime nerd and Game of Thrones fan. Salad fiend. Bibliophile. He was born to this and to see him work is nothing short of breath-taking.
Sam Winchester, the boy with the demon blood, vessel to Lucifer—abomination—now King to the hunters.
Oh, how he’s grown.

Supernatural Preferences: How they react to you coming back from the dead
A/N: It's not a Supernatural related blog unless you've written something about someone coming back from the dead... And I've pulled a good ol' Sammy Winchester to give you this one :)
All gifs belong to their rightful owners unless stated otherwise
Castiel: When you first arrived back at the bunker, Cas had no idea what to think. Every logical part of him screamed that it was a trick, that it was just one of his many enemies taunting him and playing with his emotions, and yet he didn't hesitate as he pulled you into a bone-crushing hug.
"I missed you so much." He sobbed, falling apart as your arms wrapped around him again for the first time in months.
"Me too, cowboy." You smirked fondly, glad to be back in his embrace.
Charlie: The first time you came back, Charlie was understandably worried, just not in the way you'd expected. After a routine Winchester pat down and a quick game of catch up, you finally let Charlie whisk you away so that she could confine you to bed rest.
"Do you need anything else? Something to eat? More blankets?" She fussed, toying with her hands, unsure how she could help.
"Char, for the last time, I'm fine." You sighed, shaking your head with a small smile upon your face. "All I really need right now is some quality cuddle time with my favourite girl." You added with a wink in her direction.
"I can do that." She breathed.
Crowley: It was one of those moments where Crowley had become extremely bored whilst attending to his 'kingly' duties and was drifting off to thoughts of you.
He'd tried, he'd really tried. Hell, he'd even begged the Winchesters. But not even the king of hell had had enough to bring you back.
Suddenly, the throne room's doors banged open, giving way to the fury that was you. Crowley stared entranced and wide eyed, taking in every single windswept lock of hair as you stormed towards him.
You didn't even give him a chance to speak as you yanked him towards you by his tie and kissed him, needing it more than anything else.
Dean: Dean's reaction had been exactly what you'd expected, but still, a gun right to your face wasn't really the warm welcome you'd wanted.
"Wow, four months in hell for this? Classy, real classy Dean." You snipped, not really in the mood for the whole 'you're supposed to be dead' conversation.
He rolled his eyes. "Well excuse me for being cautious."
You snorted; Dean Winchester, cautious? Maybe you were hallucinating after all. "Look, I'll save you the time and the holy water. I'm not a demon, nor am I some weird hybrid or anything like that. I'm just plain old Y/N."
Dean's judgement wavered before holstering the gun and dragging you into a tight embrace. "You better be."
Gabriel: Gabriel often played with creating dreams for himself, usually with a very smutty ending to help cope with the fact that you were gone. So when he came back from being just a general nuisance to find you lounging around on his suite, he skipped right past the whole 'how are you back' crap.
"Aren't you even the least bit suspicious?" You mused as Gabriel kissed the spot right under your ear, having kissed you on the mouth enough times that they'd be swollen tomorrow.
"Well if this is a dream, I don't want to miss the really good bit." He murmured, thumbing your jawline.
You sighed as he made his way down your neck, already giving up arguing over the fact he should probably have at least a few questions. He really knew how to distract you. "Fair enough."
Gadreel: Ever since you'd been killed, Gadreel had blamed himself. Every day he sobbed and prayed to his father, offering himself for you. Without you, he was a total mess.
When you returned to no sign of Gadreel, you enlisted the help of a reluctant pair of Winchesters. It was only after the Winchesters tracked him down that he finally realised you were back.
"Y/N! I thought I'd never see you again!" He cried, spinning you around with his arms around your waist with a wide joyous smile on his face.
You giggled, relieved to see him so happy. "Gad! Stop it, you're going to break something!"
Meg: With Meg, she didn't know what to do with herself. Ever since she'd become a demon, she hadn't felt much of anything, until she'd happened upon you. You'd been so nice and warm, treating her as if she was a real person instead of this object made to maim and kill. Your death had changed a lot of that though, leaving her to wallow away her emotions in bottles upon bottles of alcohol.
She was a wreck when you found her lazing around on a motel couch, embracing her assumed death with open arms.
"If you're gonna kill me, just do it." She slurred, looking up from her seat with red rimmed eyes. "If not, whiskey's over there."
"Oh Meg, I'm so sorry." You whispered, kneeling down to hold her face in your hands.
Lucifer: Lucifer had always had a rough childhood, abandonment being a common theme in his life, so when you passed on, it felt like history was repeating itself.
Rather than be angry about it, Lucifer just become a shell of himself, unable to bring himself to do anything but cry. In the words of Castiel "it was pitiful really."
You coming back wasn't something he'd given much thought to, so when you waltzed on into his suite, he was shocked enough he had no smart quip at the ready.
"But-"
"Yeah, supposed to be dead. Guess death wasn't a good fit for me."
Rowena: Having been a part of the supernatural community for so long, Rowena had already suffered so much that majority of it didn't faze her as much as it should've. That didn't mean your death didn't absolutely destroy her. It was just a few weeks after you'd come back that you finally realised how much she had been affected.
The both of you were cuddling in your bed, Rowena's head on your chest and your arm around her.
"Isn't that uncomfortable?" You asked. Rowena glanced up curiously and you nodded down at yourself and how she was laying.
She gave a cute little chuckle. "A wee bit, but I like being able to hear your heartbeat." She looked downwards, almost sadly. "It helps me remember you're here and you're real."
You pulled her even closer and kissed the top of her head. "I'll always be here."
Sam: Knowing Sam Winchester like you did, you'd expected to be met with a million tests and a million questions, one after the other. Instead, you were met with what you could only describe as a happy puppy.
You walked into the eerily silent bunker, heavy metal door falling shut behind you. "Sammy?!" You hollered, creeping down the stairs, hairs standing high on nerves.
"Y/N?! " A voice called out excitedly, not even giving you a chance to see who it was before you were hit by a great big blur. "I'm so glad you're back!" Sam cried, cutting off all your oxygen with a simple squeeze of his arms.
"Sam...baby...can't breathe." You wheezed, tapping out.
"Sorry." He grinned sheepishly, letting you down.

The sun rose over Lawrence on a typical Tuesday morning. A familiar sound woke Sam, something he heard every Tuesday morning--the melody of the tower bells summoning the Winchester guard to court. Normally, they didn’t ring until later in the morning, but their early clanging roused a reluctant Sam from a deep, painless slumber.
When his eyes finally fluttered fully open, he slowly rolled his head to the side, knowing he’d see her there, but this morning was different than any other before it; this morning, she would wake up and truly be his wife. His mind recalled the night before, and into the early hours of that morning, rolling around on the floor, making love to the woman he was supposed to despise. The corner of his mouth twitched into an awkward smile as he thought about how she moved her body with his, how she opened up and let him take her. There was a manner of uncontrolled passion that erupted between them, and even then, he was getting hard thinking about it.
The bells rang again, along with the Horn of Gabriel, a much deeper tone that stood out over the sound of the melodic chimes. Sam furrowed his brow, knowing this meant for the guard to assemble quickly. He wondered if there was news from the front lines… from Dean. He looked at his sleeping bride with a last longing look, taking special notice of how her hair spilled out on the pillow around her. Resisting the urge to brush a finger against her cheek, he threw off the covers and didn’t think of his hip once as he put his feet on the floor and moved about his chambers to dress for the day.
Just as Sam fastened the last button on his shirt, he heard (Y/N) stirring from behind him.
“Samuel?” she spoke, half asked in a low, sleepy tone. “Where… it’s so early.” She rubbed the sleep from her eyes, and pulled the blanket up to her collarbone, covering her naked breasts.
“Rest,” he tutted. “It is early. I need to go to court, the bells are calling the guard. I’m going to check it out, but you can go back to sleep.”
“No,” she said and sat up further in the bed. “I’ll go with you, we should present a united front.”
“I appreciate that, (Y/N), but your presence there would be questioned, even by my father. I promise to take it all in and report back.” Sam sat on the edge of the bed and took her hand in his. His thumb rubbed the back of her hand for a moment before he spoke. “I’m not trying to leave you out, I swear. I just--”
“It’s fine, Sam. I understand. I just wanted to be there to support you. Dealing with your father can’t be easy.”
“Since he has seen us playing along with whatever their plan is, he’s been surprisingly pleasant,” Sam said, a small tinge of sarcasm coating his tone.
“Well, he’s getting what he wants. Of course he’s going to be kind.” She paused and gave his hand a little squeeze in return. “Sam, about last night. I--”
A deep, penetrating knock rapped at the door, interrupting her and causing both their heads to snap around. Their eyes met in a questioning glance before Sam released her hand and walked towards the door.
“Sam!” She whispered hoarsely but sharp to gain his attention. “Your cane… appearances and all that.”
“Good thinking,” he said, half embarrassed that he hadn’t thought of that. He scooped up the now unneeded crutch and went to open the chamber door.
As he pulled it open, a member of the Winchester Guard was standing at full attention.
“My Lord, your father, the King, requires your immediate attention. He needs you to come to the War Room without delay,” the guard rambled quickly, causing Sam to shake his head and lend a soft smile at the man.
“Slow down… what’s wrong? Why are the Court bells ringing so early?”
“Please, Lord Winchester, your father… he--”
Sam could see the unsettled look in the guardsman’s face and knew that something was definitely happening. He drew in a steading breath and patted the man on his ironclad shoulder.
“Let me finish dressing. Something tells me I need to be prepared for anything,” Sam said more to himself than to the guard.
“I would say that’s an accurate assessment,” the guardsman replied in the same manner, but Sam could hear the slight tremble in his words before he closed the door, blocking the man’s view into their chambers.
Sam leaned his cane near the entry, this way he wouldn’t forget it on the way out. He then made a mental note that he would also have to remember to add his now healed limp back into his entrance to the War Room. His mind began to race at what could be so urgent. It must be about Purgatory, as that was all his father had been concerned about lately. Well, that, and Sam’s ability to produce an heir.
Sighing deeply Sam sat on the edge of the bed and studied (Y/N)’s face as she did the same to him.
“You’re very troubled, husband. What could possibly be so dire that you have to run to Court at the very minute of daybreak?”
“I don’t know,” he replied, still buried in thought and growing concern. “But I plan on finding out. For now, I think you should stay here. Don’t wander today.”
“Okay, if you think that’s for the best.”
Sam’s head snapped up when she agreed so easily. “What? No fight from the Mistress Macleod? I’m shocked.”
(Y/N) rolled her eyes and crawled out from beneath the covers, either unaware or unphased by her vulnerable nudity and positioned herself right beside him. “I’m a Winchester now, remember? And if my Lord husband asks me to do something because he thinks it's best, then I shall grant his wish.”
Sam’s dimpled smile lit up his face, knowing that she was being half truthful and half sarcastically playful. The urgency to leave for the inevitable meeting with the King his guardsman loomed over him, but he was having difficulty pulling away from her and leaving her alone in the bed they just shared. He allowed himself his own moment of vulnerability and let his fingers slowly wander up the silky flesh of her arm, tracing his finger across her collarbone and up to her cheek.
“Thank you.” His voice was rough and low, but she didn’t pay it any mind. Instead, she placed her delicate hand against his stubbled cheek.
“Go, before he sends another Guard rapping,” (Y/N) chuckled, then leaned forward and kissed his lips tentatively. Sam returned her kiss and knew that if he didn’t stop then, his father would quickly be forgotten and he would be tangled up in her all over again.
With a grunt of frustration, Sam stood from the bed and grabbed his coat from the back of the chair by the fireplace. He could still feel the heat of the fire from the night before and smiled at the memory of how they enjoyed it for the entire night. One last look back at the woman now laying in his bed, and he left the chambers to see what fresh Hell awaited him in the War Room.
Every step towards the War Room, Sam could feel his nerves growing and vibrating beneath his skin. The tension was buzzing so loudly in his head, he was having trouble streamlining his thoughts. Luckily he had remembered to grab his cane on the way out, but halfway towards his destination, it finally registered that he needed to add in his now gone limp. By the time he reached the hulking wooden door that led to whatever awful things awaited, he was back in the habit of babying his hip; but not because he physically needed too, whatever (Y/N) had done the night before was holding strong and then some.
Drawing in one long, deep breath, Sam pushed the doors open and used his sharp eyes to survey the room the second he stepped in. To the left were his father’s top advisors, including Bobby and Pastor Jim from the Church of Lawrence. To the right of the room were a dozen or so of the Winchester Guard, standing at attention and waiting for any order the King may decree. In the middle of the room, the ancient table that mapped out the lands for hundreds of miles--including the Elven Woods and the entrances to Purgatory--was set with various pieces representing the Winchester’s army and their current battle plans. Sam noticed another set of pawns added to the table. They were black forms dotted with bright spots of bright crimson. Sam’s gut took a dive as he realized those markers belonged to Crowley’s army of demons.
Looking up, Sam finally noticed his father’s form standing in front of the raging fire, whose snap and crackle was the loudest sound in the room. John was free of his usual Royal garb, and instead dressed in a simple pair of denim pants and black long sleeved shirt. One arm was stretched all the way out, leaning against the stone mantle, while the other hand was pinching the bridge of his nose.
“Dad,” Sam spoke tentatively, carefully studying his father’s slumped shoulders and lowered head, “what’s going on? Why are you calling court so early?”
John stood motionless for what felt like an eternity. When he finally turned and met his youngest son’s eyes, Sam was taken aback by what he saw in them. The normally stoic, no nonsense King of Lawrence, had wet cheeks and red-rimmed eyes that made him look as though he had been crying.
Sam’s gut swelled with sickness, as he considered what could be so bad that it would cause his father to show such a surge of emotion in front of anyone, much less the highest ranking members of his Kingdom. Words were stuck in his throat as he continued to stare at John, unable to force anything more than a trembling breath to expel from between his lips.
“Samuel…” John’s rough voice finally broke through the silence of the room. “I have news from the front lines.” He paused and stood tall, lengthening himself to full height, but still not as tall as the son he was staring down. “It’s your brother, he--”
“Dean? Is he okay? Is he… dead?”
John opened his mouth to speak, but another voice chimed in before the King could answer.
“Come on Sammy, you think I’m gonna let a few Purgatory sonsofbitches take me out?”
Sam whirled around on one heel quickly, a move that would have certainly left him in agonizing pain before (Y/N)’s treatment. He didn’t even think of it, because the voice belonged to his brother, who was now standing right behind him.
“What? No hello for your big brother?”
“Dean,” Sam breathed with a relief sigh, “You’re alive!”
Sam was stunned to see Dean. Speechless, he stared at his brother, trying to convince himself that what he was seeing was real, and not some fever dream. Bruised and battered, Dean stood before his younger brother, his patented smart ass smile plastered across his face and his arms outstretched, palms up, and shaking his head. “Well of course I am. Damn, it's like you have zero faith in me... Bitch.”
“Jerk,” Sam snorted and rolled his eyes and took the last few steps to embrace his brother. Dean didn’t hold back and hugged Sam just as tightly, smacking his back to accentuate his joy at their reunion. When they finally parted, they gave one final nod of acknowledgement; they’re way of saying, ‘yeah, I’m okay’ without having to actually say it.
“Dean’s return from the front lines is certainly cause for celebration, don’t you think?” John said loud enough to capture the attention of the room. “And now that Samuel is married, on the way to producing an heir, both my sons are on track to fulfil their destinies. If that isn’t a good enough reason to call an early Court, I don’t know what is.”
Sam watched John’s face transform into a grin, but he could feel no genuine happiness radiating from it. There was something else behind his King’s mask that Sam could feel instead… guilt, fear, regret… he wasn’t sure he could pinpoint it, but he knew that his father was hiding something.
“I called this early court because I wanted to discuss a few things before we got down to real business. There is to be a big celebration--”
“Celebration?” Bobby interjected from the shadows. He stepped into view and adjusted his cap nervously. “I don’t mean to barge in here, but, John… c’mon. Now is not the time--”
“Bobby, please. There has been so much blight and pain in the last few years,” John said, then paused to adjust the hint of a smile to appear more heavy than happy. “With Sam’s marriage, and Dean’s return, I think it's appropriate to let the people rejoice for once instead of mourning their loved ones who don’t come home.”
The room fell completely silent. Sam watched as his father starred down the old Maester, and could feel the tension fill the air. Bobby flicked a quick glance Sam’s way--only the briefest of looks--but Sam knew exactly what it meant.
Tread easy boy...
Sam cleared his throat. “I think a celebration is in order,” he agreed, then paused before continuing. Sam was trying to appear diplomatic and act in accordance with his father’s wishes. He didn’t feel a party of any kind was proper, but, if he could find a way to use this to his advantage, he would do what he had to. “I mean, it's not every day my brother returns in one piece. And my wedding wasn’t exactly the happiest of occasions. Now that some time has passed and (Y/N) and I are embracing our commitment, I think a party is a great idea.”
“I’m surprised at you, Sammy,” John snorted. “I thought you, of all people, would be fighting me.”
“No dad, I’m done fighting you. I am here to fulfil my duties and take on the role you need me to take on. Just like Dean did in Purgatory…”
Murmurs of agreement began to radiate from the guardsman that had gathered. Sam noticed John’s demeanor change, and could feel how rigid the King had quickly become. He knew he could leave it there, just agree with John and let it go. But something in his gut told him to push it further, twist this to his favor…
Sam grinned knowingly at John, which seemed to throw the King off even more.
“For the return of my brother. For the joining of Winchester and Crowley lineage--” Sam heard Dean audibly react to the name Crowley, but Sam didn’t chance a look back. Instead, he held John’s dark eyes and twitched another satisfied smirk. “--and for the battles we are fighting in Purgatory against Eve’s most terrifying monsters. Like my father said, it's time to raise a goblet in good cheer, instead of in mourning. So, let’s throw a feast and raise a cup of ale to ‘We, the Hunters and Protectors of Lawrence’! To all of us, those who fight and those who WILL win the fight every day that it rages on!”
The Winchester Guardsman in the room erupted into shouts and cheers just as Sam had hoped they would. The King’s grin expanded, showing off his deeply dimpled cheeks and his perfect teeth. Yet when Sam watched him, he saw nothing but contempt in his father’s eyes.
“All right, all right…” John said in an authoritative, deep voice that immediately quieted the room. “There are still matters to discuss at hand. Yes, we can celebrate, but first, we must strategize. I need to speak with Bobby and Pastor Jim. We will reconvene later to hear what Dean has brought us from the front lines.” John paused from addressing the room and turned to Sam. “Sam, for now, why don’t you take Dean to meet your lovely bride. It’s only right he meets the newest member of our family.”
Sam turned to Dean, who nodded swiftly. “I think that’s a great idea. Would love a chance to catch up with my little brother here, and his new wife. Did I hear correctly… she’s a Crowley?”
“Macleod, actually,” Sam corrected. “But yes, let’s leave the King to his business. You and I have some catching up to do.”
“Dude,” Dean rasped and swiped a smack to the back of Sam’s head. “You married a Crowley?! What the HELL were you thinking?!”
“Dean, relax. First of all, it wasn’t my idea. This was all dad,” Sam scoffed as he walked slowly through the maze of stone corridors leading to his chambers. “Trust me, I was NOT on board at first. I fought dad on this tooth and nail.”
“But yet…” Dean huffed as his arms animatedly waved in front of him, as if he was calling someone safe a home plate.
“Look…” Sam turned and made sure Dean stopped before crashing into him. “I hear you, okay? Don’t think for a second that I went along with this easily.”
“So why did you go along with it at all? He got you brainwashed?”
“No, I just realized that maybe he wasn’t entirely wrong.”
Dean choked on whatever words he wanted to say and just stared at his little brother.
“Also,” Sam started then turned and kept moving towards his room, “She’s not a Crowley. Crowley is… Crowley. (Y/N) is Crowley’s daughter.”
“Oh, well, that makes it sooo much better,” Dean rolled his eyes and grabbed Sam’s shoulder to make him stop walking.
“Dude, stop for one second… please, explain this to me. How did this happen?”
“Dad told me it was up to me to produce an heir. Your place was on the front lines. Since I am the resident gimp and can no longer fight, my role is to make him a grandpa.” His tone oozed contempt. “Apparently him and Crowley made some sort of deal. We bind our two families by marriage, have a child, and dad gets reinforcements of Crowley’s minions at the front lines of Purgatory.”
Dean snorted a sarcastic laugh. “Right, because demon deals always work in our favor.”
Sam shrugged unsure of how to answer him. Dean was right, demon deals never ended well for the Winchesters. They had centuries of family history donning the castle walls proving that. He turned to start walking again, but once again, Dean made him stop.
Sam could see the shift of Dean’s focus was going somewhere else, so he didn’t argue. Instead, he waited for his older brother to arrive at whatever point he was trying to get too.
“Let me get this straight, because none of this makes sense. Dad wants you to produce an heir with a blood relative to the King of Hell?”
“I know, it seems insane.”
“No, what’s insane, Sam, is that you agreed to it in the first place. Why would you say yes to that? Especially since Crowley is the one who killed Jes--”
“Dean!” Sam barked, loud and with enough assertiveness to make Dean slightly recoil. “I know. Okay, I get it. Maybe it will turn out to be the worst choice I could have made. But when I agreed to it, I had a plan. I was going to kill her to get back at Crowley. Take the life of his daughter as revenge for Jess.”
“Okay… and? Apparently she’s still alive, so what’s stopping you?””
“The plan has since changed. (Y/N) isn’t who I thought she would be. Dean… she’s…”
“Oh God…” Dean buried his face in his palms. “Sammy, don’t… don’t tell me you already knocked her up.”
“No!” Sam
“Ok, good. Because the last thing I need to worry about while slaughtering vamps and ghouls is you playing house with a literal demon spawn.”
“Just meet her, okay. She’s… different.”
“Oh, you mean her eyes don’t glow red and her body isn’t filled with black smoke?”
“No, they don’t. She’s human, Dean. She’s not a demon. She’s human. Though, she’s got some serious knowledge when it comes to magic.”
“Magic? Like… magic, magic?”
Sam nodded and desperately wanted to back up his words by showing his brother how (Y/N) had healed his hip. Instead, he decided to wait. Dean would need more than that if he was to be convinced that (Y/N) was on the level.
“Man, I go away for a year and all Hell breaks loose, literally. So what is the real plan here, Sammy? Because even if the girl is legit, you agreeing with dad leaves a bad taste in my mouth.”
“Dean, just breathe, okay? I promise you, it will all be okay.”
Once Sam left for the War Room, you laid back against the pillows and drew the blankets up to your chin. Fighting the smile that tugged at the corner of your mouth, you closed your eyes and couldn’t help but think about the night before, spent tangled up with your new husband in the tapestries and sheets. He was an amazing lover; from the moment he had first kissed you, until the moment you fell asleep, he attended to every part of your flesh with a gentle, yet fierce longing you didn’t know could exist.
Not one part of you wanted to want him. In fact the internal struggle that raged between your head and heart was raucous and frustrating. As you lay there with your eyes shut, your hand went to the place between your breasts where the vial of potion normally rested. It was when your hand felt nothing there but your own soft flesh, that you sat up quickly and with force. Panicked, you began to remember more details from the night before.
In the recklessness of tearing at what remained of each other’s clothing, the vial on the thin cord must have been removed and tossed aside. You had a vague memory of realizing it the night before, but you had been too punch drunk and lustful in Samuel’s arms to do much about it then.
Kicking off the covers, grabbing at the robe that lay across the back of the chair, you threw it around loosely and fell to the floor in search of the vial. As you frantically searched the room, your fears were starting to grow that Sam would find it, and you would have to explain… too much. Suddenly fear struck you that he would think you used it on him; that the night you two had spent together was contrived and manipulated as part of your plan. Truth is, that is exactly what it had been for, but there was no need for it. You and Sam found your way to each other naturally and coming to terms with the fact that you didn’t hate it, was something else entirely.
Before you could begin to process that feeling, you had to find the vial. Rooting around on the thick shag throw rug and coming up empty, you moved to under the bed, silently praying you would find it easily. Minutes were passing as if you had all the time in the world, and still the vial seemed to have disappeared. Even in the mess of clothing strewn around the room, there wasn’t a trace of it.
Another panicked thought hit... Sam would be back soon. Too much time had passed now, and you weren’t dressed. If he arrived and found you still half nude in your robe, hair a mess and frazzled, an explanation would be necessary. Nothing that you could say would sound convincing, especially with the bond you two had been forming over plotting against your fathers. Sighing in relent, you got up off the floor and went to the chest where you kept your clothing and personal effects to choose something to wear for the day.
Not too long after putting the finishing touches on yourself, you heard the rumble of the chamber door begin to open. You drew in a steadying breath and turned from your reflection in the ornate wall-hung mirror, to greet your husband. Opening your mouth to speak, you were immediately silenced when you saw that Sam wasn’t alone.
“(Y/N),” he said, a hint of a secret smile on his face as he reached out to take your hand, pulling you towards them both, “my brother has returned from Purgatory. Dean,” he stepped aside so Dean could come forward, “this is my wife, (Y/N).”
Seeing the much-storied Dean Winchester in the flesh was a shock. He must have been the reason the bells were ringing so early on a Tuesday; the joyous news of his return must be making its way through the city by now.
“Wow,” you breathed “It’s wonderful to have you home, My Lord.” You bowed your head and gave the slightest curtsy, unsure of the proper greeting, but not wanting to offend.
“Is this chick for real?” Dean asked in a semi-hushed tone while elbowing Sam in the ribs.
“Shut up,” Sam bit back and shook his head with a snort. “(Y/N), it’s okay, you can drop formalities in front of my brother. He would rather go back to the depths of Purgatory then be called My Lord.”
“I dunno, kinda has a nice ring to it,” Dean quipped, very amused with himself until he caught sight of his brother’s eye roll. “Fine,” he said, and turned his attention back to you. “Nice to meet you, (Y/N), I’ve heard absolutely nothing about you, so I am sure you will have no trouble living up to the hype.” He flashed Sam another distrustful glance then looked back at you again.
This time though, you could feel the older Winchester brother’s scrutiny as it traveled down your body from your hair to your toes. He examined you quietly as if looking for the marker that would clue him into exactly who you were. Something about the way his green eyes watching you with such distrust made you nervous, as if he could see straight through you and know every thought that staggered through your mind.
“I’m happy to see you home in one piece, Dean. Sam has been very worried for your safety,” you said, trying to keep the nerves in your voice to a minimum.
Dean gave a half-hearted smile. “Well, he wouldn’t be Sammy if he wasn’t worrying about me.”
“And I suppose you worry about him the same.”
“I do. Which is why, if you try anything to hurt him, I can promise you they will never find your remai--”
“Dean!” Sam’s demeanor and tone said all his brother needed to hear.
“Alright, I get it. I don’t know you and I am already being a dick. What can I say, its who I am.”
“I would have you no other way,” you said, returning his half-assed smile. “I can promise you that I am nothing like my father. Crowley is an evil man with evil intentions, who sold me off to his enemy to be a broodmare. He thought I would be miserable, pained… angry. Yet, I take great pleasure in the fact that his plan has so far backfired, and I’ve come to find a wonderful, loving man in your brother. Sure, we had our issues, but I think we are of the same mindset.”
“Meaning?” Dean asked, crossing his arms over his chest and watching you carefully.
“Meaning… neither of us what to help fulfil whatever crap our fathers are plotting. Instead, we want to stop them. End the War. Bring everyone home.”
DEan scoffed. “End the War? Sweetheart, that war is just getting started. Nothing can end it, not even Eve’s monsters killing every last Hunter and Winchester to walk this Earth.”
“We have to try,” Sam spoke up, holding eyes with his brother, then glancing your way.
“And somehow having a kid is part of that?”
“It's what our fathers want,” you replied and shrugged. “I have no desire to be a mother. I didn’t even know my own. And, my grandmother, as much as she has taught me, wasn’t exactly a stellar role model.”
“So why the push towards family planning?”
Sam shrugged. “That’s what we are trying to figure out.”
Dean got quiet and began to slowly pace around the room. His hand thoughtfully rubbed at his mouth and down his chin. He didn’t look at you or Sam at all, but kept his focus on the floor in front of him. After a few moments, he stopped in his tracks and shook his head, as if to clear its thoughts.
“Could that be what they are doing?” he whispered as a question, but Sam wasn’t sure if it was directed to him or if Dean was talking to himself. “God I hope that’s not what she was talking about…” he trailed off, clearing not speaking to Sam now.
“Dean? What are you talking about?” Sam asked.
If Dean heard his question, he ignored it. He shook his head and cleared his throat. “Can’t be… John would never…”
“Dean… dad would never, what?”
Dean’s piercing green eyes met with Sam’s then slowly made their way to you. “Sammy, I don’t… the things I heard on the battlefield… I doubt they’re true. But, still.”
“What is it, Dean?” Sam asked, both his impatience and temper starting to rise. “Tell me!”
“I think Dad and Crowley want to sacrifice your child to Eve.”

Do you have an established relationship wincest recs? Where they are in love and together :) thank you!
Of course!
I live for the boys getting their HEA and just growing old with each other.
Established Fics aka Curtain Fics
Anniversary by sonofabiscuit77 The Smith-Wessons go away for a ghost-hunting mini-break to celebrate their anniversary. Just a slice of life, domestic Smith/Wesson thing where they salt and burn the ghost, have brunch and Dean gets tied to the bed.
Backseat of My Brother’s 67 Chevy by NaughtyPastryChef Extended scene from “Baby”. Dean’s feeling proud of Sam’s hookup until he hears that Sam tried to give that waitress his number. Uncharacteristically, he lets Sam force him to talk about it.
Better Homes and Gardens by chick (orphan_account) After getting whammied on a hunt, Dean wakes up a househusband in Lawrence married to his little brother. Trapped in this world where down is up and up is completely fucked, Dean desperately tries to figure out a way to get back to a world that makes sense without completely losing his mind in the process. Featuring: spice gardens, bridge clubs, and the power of incestuous, gay love.
Cat’s Cradle by saltandbyrne My version of curtain fic, with human furniture, the Outback Steakhouse, and brutal, loving BDSM.
The Chicago Verse by compo67 After angels and demons and things that go bump in the night, Sam and Dean want a place of their own. Finding a place is easier said than done; and settling somewhere isn’t taken lightly. They take a chance on the city Death spared because he liked the pizza. The boys settle in a Mexican neighborhood just south of the Loop called Pilsen. Sam looks back at how they got here.
Crush by sonofabiscuit77 Five years after the apocalypse didn’t happen and Sam and Dean have settled down, or as much as the Winchesters can ever settle down. Sam is a college professor and Dean a well-respected small business owner and they’re learning how to balance work, hunting and dog-ownership while coping with the metaphorical and literal scars of war. Life’s not perfect, not for a (sort of) out and proud couple in small town USA with a lot to hide, but they’re dealing, that is, until Dean employs one sexually-confused teenager who develops an unhealthy obsession with both of them. Switching between five years earlier and now, we learn how the boys came together, how they made it through the big fight and whether they’ll ever manage to find that flighty temptress, happily ever after.
Give Him What He Needs by brokenlittleboy Sam wakes Dean up for some good old-fashioned morning loving and Dean is more than happy to comply. They’ve been going at it for almost eleven years now, and it seems like every day Sam gets dirtier and dirter, and more and more desperate for it. Dean’s not complaining–he’s just a little worried someday he won’t be enough for little brother’s needs.
How Does Your Garden Grow by majesticduxk From the prompt: Sam getting his hands all dirty, Sam getting bad knees as he ages, Sam being excited about his bean crop, Sam bringing vast quantities of zucchini to the Bunker kitchen and expecting Dean to figure out something to cook with it, Sam being wrathful and indignant about caterpillars, Sam out there all day with the sun hot on his neck and the soil cool in his hands thinking about nothing at all but the tactility and the way he’s having this small, steady good effect on the world and coming back HAPPY.
A Life Most Ordinary by sonofabiscuit77 Sam and Dean Winchester are two ordinary brothers living ordinary small-town lives. Okay, so having a mother who was brutally murdered by one of America’s most notorious serial killers and a father who was forever mentally scarred by the event is not that ordinary, but the rest of their problems: marriage breakdowns and relationship failures, job disappointments and sexuality crisis, and Dean’s two kids, 9 year-old Jonah with his disturbing passion for the music of Lady Gaga and 6-year old Simon with his severe hearing loss, well they’re all completely ordinary. The only thing extraordinary about Sam and Dean is how they fell in love.Written for 2010 spn_j2_bigbang challenge
Just Another Day by selecasharp When rain keeps them in a motel for another night, Sam settles in for a quiet day of movies, popcorn, and cuddling (and maybe more) on a couch with Dean — until he realizes what day it is.
Just Say My Name by leonidaslion Dean turns into a complete and utter nympho. It takes Sam a while to notice the difference.
The King and The Lionheart by waywardelle After the disastrous but effective removal of the Mark, Sam and Dean Winchester suddenly face a life without allies or a reason to keep hunting, so they leave their old life behind them in flames. They re-emerge from the ashes as Sam and Dean Wesson, residents of Misty Luna, Maine– a town with a personality all its own. As they settle into civilian life, they gain careers, a home, good friendships and the kind of fulfillment they never thought possible. But with nothing left to fight, the underbelly of their particular kind of love is thrown into sharp relief, especially considering the whole town thinks they’re married, anyway. After dancing around their feelings for the past twenty years, Sam and Dean find a peace they never knew existed, and through it all, they find each other again. And maybe, just maybe, forever. Curtain!fic. Canon divergence after 10x21, “Dark Dynasty.”
Like a Fish Out of Water by nyxocity AU after Plucky Pennywhistle’s Magical Menagerie. During the final battle with the Leviathans, God finally makes an appearance and deigns to intervene. After granting Sam and Dean a few final requests, he ‘packs his bags’ and takes everything supernatural in existence with him. Left with nothing to hunt, Sam talks a reluctant Dean into settling down in a small town outside of Sioux Falls. Sam seems to want them live a normal kind of life, but between the ridiculous estate sale Sam bought to furnish the house, the arrival of a very human Castiel who’s overwhelmed by human emotions, and their quirky, invasive neighbors, it’s anything but. Dean’s having a difficult time adjusting, convinced everything couldn’t be more abnormal until Sam reveals exactly what kind of life he wants to have with Dean. Dean can’t deny the part of him that wants it–but can he accept it?
Love is Never Blind by Calysta18 Love is the only game that is not called on account of darkness!!
Milk Me by LittleSparrow69 Fill for this kinkmeme prompt: A knocked-up Dean’s lactating and he hates it but it hurts. Sam “milking” him is less humiliating (barely) than leaking all over his shirts. Sam, though, lives for this.
On A Friday We Call Good by gaialux One unlucky moment. That’s all it took to turn Dean’s life upside down. Sam seems to be on board with the fallout; insisting they take a break from hunting and set up in suburbia. While Sam finds himself assimilating, Dean is far from Mr. Domestic. If he can’t hunt - if he can’t save people - he has nothing. Or so he thinks.
Over the Hills, Far Away by roxymissrose Somewhere in the middle of season seven, this world careens towards the left.Dean looks at Sam and decides enough is enough. They need to settle down for a while, take a breath.
The Psychology of Genetic Sexual Attraction by sonofabiscuit77 “…50% of of reunions between siblings, or parents and offspring, separated at birth result in obsessive emotions…”This story begins in 2001 in a garage in Palo Alto when 18-year old Stanford student, Sam Sharma plucks up the courage to ask car mechanic, Dean Cooper, out for a cup of coffee. Their attraction is instantaneous and overwhelming, and the relationship that develops seems perfect. Except nothing is really perfect, and this particular love story started a long time before Sam and Dean even met. Wincest non-hunting AU. This is my attempt at a boys-don’t-know-they’re-brothers story.
The Theory of Relativity by wutendeskind The Apocalypse is over. Sam writes it all down, and the result tops the New York Times bestseller list for an entire year. Dean loves that Sam’s found something to do with his life, but doesn’t know how he fits in. And when Dean reads Sam’s second novel, things get even more confusing for him.
Trust Me, I’m A Doctor by checkthemarginsThe one where Dean is a pediatric neurosurgeon and Sam is a law student and they figure out they’re in love.
Walkin’ the Tightrope by non_tiembo_mala It’s 2036, and twenty years since Sam and Dean called it quits on hunting to take up a secluded, quiet life. Maybe Jesse and Cesar gave them the idea, but after Amara, they realized they’d done enough. And they wanted a proper life together even more.Known as Sam Wesson and Dean Smith to the residents of the nearby town they call home, Sam and Dean keep mostly to themselves, their immaculately kept ‘67 Chevy Impala, and their cabin in the woods. That is, until someone from their past tracks them down, desperate for help.Sam and Dean can’t say no, not when it’s their dear friend Jody Mills in deep trouble – she’s missing – but the wedding bands they wear make going back to their old life just that little bit more complicated…
Wanna make your motor run by cordelia_gray Four times Dean got road head, and one time he gave it.
I could literally go on and on with this list so I might make a part two of this list.

spn au
Takes place after 12x23 before season 13.
Dean had needed some fresh air and something to kill. He’d found a hunt and the next morning they were off. They left the Nephilim, Jack, at the bunker with Jody. Dean had been reluctant to leave him with her but Sam trusted Jack and Dean trusted Sam. Hell was crumbling without a king, without order. Demons came up to the surface to wreak all kinds of havoc. This particular case was in Denver. There’d been evidence of hellhounds, which meant crossroad deals. From the looks of it, the demons had been coming to collect not even days after the deal was made. The first two had been simple enough. A milk run. It had gotten a little hairy when the hellhounds showed up but they’d made it out with minor injuries. After a burger or two and a beer, Sam found a case in Fort Collins, just 64 miles north of Denver.
Two strangers both lost their minds and murdered each other in a Home Depot. It was strange but as Dean had always said, “People are crazy”. If it was anything it was probably demon possession, maybe a ghost. But 30 minutes later, halfway across town, a group of women went into a frenzy and butchered each other at a book club. There was one survivor but she wasn’t helpful. There was sulfur but she didn’t see any ‘smoke’. She just said that she’d gotten “so angry”.
Dean had thought it would be another quick track-and-stab but he was sorely mistaken. The others had been demons working alone. They were getting snacks when they smelled the tell-tale rotten-egg stench of sulfur and a cashier jumped a guy who’d bumped into him. They’d stopped him thankfully but Dean thought he saw the woman from the book club leave. After checking the tapes, she had definitely been there. Sam hacked the cameras at the home depot and sure enough, she was there too. She’d walked past seconds before they snapped. Sam realized all of the incidents had taken place about a mile from one central location. The tracking had brought them to an abandoned warehouse. Sam said he got a ‘bad feeling’ about the whole thing when they’d spotted three demons standing guard at the entrance. Killing them was easy and Dean probably could have been quicker but he had a metric ton of pent up anger about Mary and Cas and demons were the perfect punching bag.
Mary was as good as dead in Apocalypse world but Sam refused to believe that. Dean was glad he could still hope for something. His mind kept drifting back to Cas’s face. The surprised and glad sound of Sam saying his name just before; Dean was so happy to see him make it out... If Dean died during this, he would get hurled into the Empty, hopefully where Cas was. The brothers had walked in on a meeting of sorts. The woman was surrounded by at least 12 demons. She grinned, eyes flashing black. She wore a crown made of winding gold. It practically glowed against her dark hair.
“The Winchesters. It is a pleasure to finally meet you,” she said with an acidic smile.
“Some random demon.” Dean snarked.
“I am Berith. And you should remember that. I’ll be the new ruler of Hell. Alastair had many good things to say about you, Dean.”
“Berith?” Sam perked up. She snapped her head towards him. Dean naturally took a step towards him, positioning himself slightly in front of Sam.
“So you’ve heard of me?”
“You tempt people to murder.” He continued.
“Well, have I lived up to my reputation?” For once, Dean couldn’t think of anything to say and Sam kept quiet. “Very well,” She turned to the horde and spoke in some guttural language. Sam took the opportunity to grab the demon blade and hurl it into Berith’s back. The demons charged and the battle was on.
Continued tomorrow. Please be nice, it’s my first fanfic, i’m sorry uwu

The Progenitor King 2.0
Read it on AO3 here!https://ift.tt/3duZRyc
by i_didnt_lose_sammys_shoe
The Apocalypse has begun and while dealing with their personal issues amid refusing to a vessel to an archangel, Sam and Dean Winchester are joined by a trio of hunters who seem more knowledgeable than they let on. The three siblings are reluctant to talk about their family, including two other siblings that stayed behind wherever back ‘home’ is at.
What’s those three hunters’ end game here? What are their intentions? Why do they know what they do? Why are one of the three hunters so uncomfortable around demon blood?
