Hey, welcome to the results page. If you'll look above you'll see way more than three pink stars. I extracted this from the game's Main Menu. This isn't even the answer I intended when I made the post, we'll get to that one later.

Even though I messed this whole thing up, we can still have a little fun talking about all of these options, and what it was that I actually messed up! Welcome to the fun >w>

I'll be going through all of these in three sections: Facts, Fuckups, and Fiction! The first section, Facts, will be sorted by how many of you picked that answer, for maximum suspense.

The Facts

A fan hacked their game and distributed modded Nemesis to other players

u/Matrix_Sentinel over on reddit figured out how to mod the nemesis in both Default and Second and created a ton of extremely overpowered bosses with Duration 0/0/0 - 0/0/0 to indicate they were modded and sent them out online. They were never taken down, even until the very end of the servers. I have copies of Matrix_Sentinel's save files so I can access these if I want (and you can get them too if you look on reddit).

Aimee snipes the heroes from the other side of the planet on purpose

If Luxendarc is on a globe, there's absolutely no way she'd be able to make that shot. And yet...

Amphisbaena's Magic and Physical Immune heads are both weak to money damage

I'm a huge fan of this game, so much so that I speedrun the fastest category of it. While prepping for my routes, I spent two hours hitting both of Amphisbaena's heads with every single attack in the game. The only one that actually damaged both of them was Takeover. You could say it's pq performance >w>

An entirely different Bravely game takes place at the end of chapter 4

The Rain spellcraft was almost certainly coded incorrectly

u/Tables61 over on reddit compiled information on how a good chunk of the math works out behind SECOND's attacks and magic. Of note, the Rain spellcraft is coded such that if you apply it to a spell that normally targets a single enemy, Rain will cause it to scale inversely with the number of enemies on the field. What this means? Fire Rain against one alarune will do significantly more damage per hit than Fire Rain against six alarunes, even though you're still only hitting four times. This goes almost directly against the description of the rain spellcraft. Oh yeah, and also the way the Meteor spell interacts with the rain spellcraft causes its damage to skyrocket to absurd levels. You can deal 9999x4 damage at earlier levels due to this faulty code.

Edea accidentally ate the baton used to fight Praline in the first game

I know this game got a ton of criticism for how often they talk about food, and for that reason a lot of people skip through the tent scenes. That's the reason why I put this as an option. Even still, what a way for a relic to go.

🥉 Contrary to popular english fandom belief, Altair and Vega had a child

If you voted for this, I'm giving you a bronze medal! This is the answer that required you have the strongest series knowledge. When Ba'al; Firstborn was distributed and encountered, many fans thought it was supposed to represent Vega's despair at never getting to have a child with Altair. It's a really good guess, but it's probably incorrect, as Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights introduced us to Claire, and eventually revealed that she is in fact the daughter of Altair and Vega. She was transported to another world before Altair and Vega's homeworld was destroyed in a sort of superman situation. I can't even give you more info than that because I don't know all that much about Brilliant Lights myself!

The Fuckups

🥈 The pink stars on the title screen are the real life Altair, Vega, and Deneb

Like I said before the read more, this one was supposed to be true! However, upon examining a real starmap, getting confused, and deciding to extract the image from the game files, I realized it's not true at all! What a wild ride! If you voted for this or the next one, you get a silver medal.

🥈Despite fighting alongside Minette, Bismark the lion isn't a boss enemy

Vulnerable to Obliterate, which explicitly says it doesn't work on "Bosses or Special Enemies" and yet Bismarck is listed in the bestiary as a boss... what's going on here? Poor wording is what! I meant for this fact to focus on the fight mechanics instead of the bestiary, but I realized everyone might mistake this for a bestiary question, so.... Silver Medal to those of you who guessed this!

The Fiction

🥇The bestiary implies that the Faithful Fox is Yoko, as they both love croissants

This is the answer I intended to be the fabrication, as I've woven some deception into it! Here's the last part of Yoko's bestiary entry:

Wait a minute, there's no croissants here!! It's all inari-zushi!! During the cutscenes where Yoko interacts with the party for the first time, she becomes enamored with croissants and ate all of the croissants the party had. It's one of the few times the food talk bleeds out of the tent scenes or sidequests and out into the main quest, and so it's probably much more prominent in your mind than inari-zushi is. If you picked this answer you get a Gold Medal, congrats to you for picking out the true fabrication of mine!

So I decided to put together a guide for every single time trial in Crash Bandicoot 1. Getting the Platinum relics in the time trials is a massive pain and found it better to edit all my best runs into one piece to show my completion of each platinum relic. Hopefully this will help others that may be stuck :)
