You know what? I'm starting to think having concentrated misogyny and homophobia and transphobia from all over the world siphoned directly into my eyeballs all day every day is not so good for my mental health

#It's 10:30 am and I'm trying to relax in my own home and I've already had a FB argument with my aunt about abortion rights #And saw a bunch of transphobic comments under a trans comedian's reel #And the tv show I have on in the background is like 90% men who say weird shit about the female characters #I'm just. I'm tired!!#When I'm in my own house by myself with my cats I should not have to think about every social issue plaguing society that I can't fix #I seriously seriously SERIOUSLY need to take a break from social media INCLUDING tumblr and YouTube i think #Just everything.#And I need to stop forcing myself to try to watch this TV show. I've never been able to finish it and I think it's okay to give up #Hint: it is a very famous zombie show #But as I watch it I'm just thinking how much better The Last of Us is and how I'd rather be watching that instead

Just a little warning that there will be an art stream tonight! I'm going to push it back to 8pm EST because I want to have time to unpack some delivered groceries!

It’s a very pleasant surprise to me that I’m passing more and more people who are actually training their dogs this year! Usually it’s hell with off leash out of control dogs and people letting their dogs cross over to rush you and greet regardless of what you say or how much you body block, but this year I’m finding most people are switching their dogs side before I even approach or immediately reel their dog in/ switch sides when they see me cue my dog to switch to the outer leg.

Obviously I’m still getting the occasional irresponsible pet owner but in comparison to last year it’s significantly less. Like once or twice a week vs once a day

#but also I haven’t been seeing the pets that typically give me problems at all #so it’s not like the problem people are now working on it #they’ve just taken their dogs elsewhere or our schedules no longer overlap #either way I’m happy about it #todays walk was so relaxing #every single dog was reeled in and moved out of the way #quite a few were praising their dogs or treating #beautiful
