How many dishes can the guys make? As robots, I can see that they would have a lot of knowledge due to the internet, but do they have any criteria as to the theme of the restaurant or the amount of time it takes?

great question!

the restauarant is specifically a cha chaan teng, a Hong Kong style cafe so the majority of the menu revolves around that cuisine

however!! the DCA boys often introduce new menu items, as well as weekly and seasonal specials!

Sun is the most adventurous in cooking new dishes. he is very interested in learning new recipes, new cooking methods, ingredient substitutions, etc! he takes it all as a personal challenge to experiment with new recipes

Moon will often try new dishes based on current trends—like he would totally be making variations of the Dubai chocolate bar and tanghulu and cucumber salads right now haha! honestly if he could, he'd love to travel and try all different kinds of foods around the world

As the barista, Eclipse also experiments with new drinks. along with their standard cafe drinks (like tea, coffee, ovaltine, etc.) he also has a seasonal drink selection to match the themes of the season. so it's autumn now, he'd have pumpkin spice milk tea, sweet potato latte, and mooncake hot chocolate for mid-autumn festival—all decadent, warm and cozy drinks that feel like a warm hug!

they have an ever-changing “surprise me” special, which is a unique meal that combines the dishes they've been experimenting on. it's like a very casual omakase. it's not a very popular set, since it constantly changes, but it is at a reduced price. the customers’ feedback also helps them improve the dishes. see, the boys can eat (as an alternative way to charge) and they do have taste and scent receptors, but they struggle with textures and mouthfeel because they don't have a squishy human mouth. so getting customer feedback on their experiments really helps them out. i imagine the "surprise me" special would be popular among students who are on a tight budget and are willing to try something new each time, cuz even though it's a mystery, they know it's great value for the price since the boys put all their effort into all their cooking

Originally I just wanted to find more pictures of it for reference, and then went down a rabbit hole of 2012 pictures, trying to figure out when exactly the chair came to be. There's so many pictures of him in it, and it's so funny to me to imagine them hauling this super villain chair all around the world for him. And so now I'm obsessed with the evolution of it:

He suddenly now has this, aforementioned, super villain chair. Several things, why is it like this. It looks like a sim chair almost ngl. And then the weird plexiglass support is confusing me, like where did they get that. It furthers my narrative they just had this chair that they couldn't put in a car so they put that clear bottom on it. Anyways yes good, now he has somewhere to brood

ㅤ ㅤ Sweet Home 2 • Short One-shot.

Pairing: Pyeon Sangwook/Jung Jaeheon (really implicit).

Summary: A small talk between Hyunsu, who has lost his memory, and Ui-myeong in Sangwook's body who cannot escape from his emotions and memories.

“I know you can't remember anything, but doesn't the name "Jaeheon" sound familiar?”

Both Sangwook and Hyunsu were in the same car, the younger one had no idea where they were going, he had been a manipulable piece since his memory vanished and followed this stranger. Sangwook, who was no longer himself, but an amalgam of a dead body and the soul of a monster, was the one leading Hyunsu down the path of survival.

The only thing that interested him was his power, at least that is what he had in mind, because he knew that this young man would manage to perfect it and become a weapon against the greedy humanity. That was becoming extinct.

But there was something in his head that would not leave him alone.

“Hyunsu... ” he called his attention while keeping his eyes straight ahead.

The boy looked at him with that emotionless expression on his face.

“Yes?”

“I know you can't remember anything, but doesn't the name "Jaeheon" sound familiar?”

A silence formed between them, as the boy thought, his mind had been blank for a while and no matter how hard he tried, there were no memories there.

But there were emotions, in fact, Hyunsu could only feel something with that name.

Sadness.

“No, I can't remember," said the young man, "But for some reason.... I feel he was someone important.”

“Is there a special reason?”

“I feel like I could cry just thinking his name.”

Sangwook is silent, also thinking, not that he shares the feeling of sadness. He has no attachment to the memories of this body, he doesn't care about them either, but Jaeheon's name is in his mind without.

He believes it is the same man he sees in his dreams or disconnections with the body, where the memories of the host attack and unsettle him. That bespectacled man, not so tall, with a kind smile and gentle eyes.

He has memories where he talks to him about God, that they spent something together, but it is blurry and frustrating to chase the thought. He has hit his head more than once to forget it.

“Why do you ask?”

Sangwook is silent for a bit as he thinks of a suitable answer.

“The owner of this body had a connection to him, but he wasn't among the survivors when I arrived in the building, so.... I don't know who he is.”

“And how do you know his name?”

“He repeats it too much in his head, in pain and sadness, he does it to take away my control.”

Hyunsu looks at him.

“Jaeheon must be really special, he seems to be getting you off your rocker.”

Silence again.

“It doesn't matter if you can't remember.”

This is my first post on Tumblr! Although I've been on the platform for three years, I'm just starting to get the hang of it and since I want to interact more with an audience that's interested in kdramas fanfics, I'm going to use it more often. Hello! I don't know if someone already asked, but if not, please tell us you thoughts about Danaël?

Thank you for asking! On a real note I super appreciate all the LL asks that people have been sending, I LOVE to yell about this series.

In a lot of ways, he's really the straight man of the series, but I honestly think that's sort of what makes him so great. He's the one who the rest of the group revolves around, not just because he's their leader, but he's also just their focal point. He's the one who brought them together; he's the one they follow. I think in a lot of ways he's the one they aspire to and model themselves after, and I do firmly believe he's the best of them.

He's also truly the definition of haunting the narrative. His absence is more acute than his presence in a lot of ways, and I think narratively it's a lot more important. I'm genuinely obsessed with the way the series shifts after his death–– it's a tangible absence, and no matter how much they try to cover the gap he leaves, there's just no way for them to.

Of course, the series post-Anathos becomes a lot darker, but I also think it's just more... bleak. They've really and truly lost their core, and they don't ever regain the sense of family their group had before. They scattered during their recovering period following vol 10, and they never fully reconverge much as they might want to.

I don't think it would be impossible, had they had the time. They're focused on trying to rebuild what they had, when I think what would have been best would be to create something new. And, I think, being that he was the glue, they never really learned to fill those gaps (and actually communicate. I think he was the one who made them talk to each other, holy shit (affectionately, they're dumbasses)).

I absolutely adore him. I won't get into his Dynameïs version here but I think about that a lot too... really depends on how you want to interpret Kalandre's hold over their group (are they still themselves? Are they entirely other people? Is it full control or just influence? I'm obsessed.)

Ugghh no matter how much their relationship is being shoved up on our face I really can't ship secretary Cha and secretary Jung...they have zero chemistry and as the show goes on I can't see her as a person who truly gets secretary Cha (and vice versa). If anything secretary Cha has better chemistry with President Park or Media representative Kim 💀💀
