I had a weird vibe about both the posts I've seen going around because I enjoy writing certain characters as trans mostly because several of my followers have said they specifically bring them comfort and I felt almost like now I'm doing something wrong for having a trans character having sex. I know they weren't aiming for that but it felt a little pointed in a weird way.

Trans people having normal healthy sex doesn't feel like fetishization to me...

yeah there are definitely characters i hc as 100% absolutely trans because those are my favourite characters (Dew) and i see a lot of myself in them (little menace with long blonde hair and trauma? thats literally me omg) and so i project onto them even further (rejoice transgenderism be upon ye). i love seeing other trans hcs of course i do and i enjoy reading about them all but at the end of the day people will have their favourites and will probably write and read more to do with those. i dont think its some sort of fandom wide mission to only write about certain characters being trans...

and youre not doing anything wrong by having trans characters who have sex in your fics! like you said trans people having healthy sex isnt fetishisation so as long as you just keep things normal like you would in any other fic its fine and im sure people really appreciate it because i know i do whenever i see a trans character in fic
