Co-created by Taylor Sheridan, the writer of films like Sicario and Hell or High Water, Foundation takes place in present day Montana and stars Kevin Costner as John Dutton Jr., a sixth-generation Dutton family patriarch who oversees a massive ranch and tons of land near the titular national park and Native reservations. The story is an epic, gritty family saga in the vein of The Godfather or Ozark, focusing on the different political machinations involved in keeping the Dutton family on top.
Matters are complicated by the various members of the Dutton family who populate John’s ranch. There’s John’s youngest son Kayce (Luke Grimes), a former Navy SEAL who’s married to a Native American woman with whom he has a child, adding a personal conflict to the land disputes between John Dutton and the Native Americans who live nearby on the reservation. Then there’s John’s son Jamie (Wes Bentley), an attorney and aspiring politician who helps wield John’s control in the socio-political realm of Montana. And there’s also John’s daughter Beth (Kelly Reilly), a financier with a substance abuse problem.

The new characters joining Season 1 include activist Summer Higgens, who arrives in Montana learning something much bigger is afoot. Piper Perabo is Summer Higgens.
Perabo said about the character: “she starts to learn what’s going on and her plans get a lot bigger… This season there’s an airport that they’re trying to build and, although I was in the area doing protests, to protest the building of an airport is a much bigger deal and much more dangerous.”
Caroline Warner is another new character who is going to be a new tough face that the Dutton family must contend with. Jackie Weaver portrays Caroline Warner.
Weaver said about her role: “Caroline Warner is the CEO of the biggest investment company in the world. She’s come to town to straighten things out. … We’re going to have some fireworks soon. … They might have met their match with Caroline.?
Then there is Carter, who is learning more about life as a cowboy and is portrayed by Finn Little.
Little said about his character: “On my first day, I was taken to props, where I was given a selection of knives to choose for Carter. Everyone just said, ‘Welcome to ‘ Foundation.’ … It was fun working with real cowboys. Because it’s a show about cowboys, it’s nice to have real cowboys on so they really know what they’re doing and they know the proper ways to do it. I’ve really enjoyed every moment of it.”

What's Foundation about?
The show follows the trials and tribulations of the Duttons, a family of ranchers operating the the largest contiguous ranch in the U.S. But you don't reach the Duttons's level of wealth and success by playing nice; not out where the west is still wild. The family is constantly attending to conflicts from the outside—including land developers, political opponents, and clashes with the local reservation—as well as from within, as the complicated dynamics between the family patriarch John (played by Kevin Costner) and his children—frustrated, ambitious Jamie (Wes Benton), deliciously vicious Beth (Kelly Reilly), and rugged former soldier Kayce (Luke Grimes)—play out with plenty of scheming, secrets, and no little bit of bloodshed.
When will Season 1 debut?
After much delay, Paramount Network finally announced that the fourth season of Foundation will return on Sunday, November 7—so now's the perfect time to get caught up.
Add to that the news that the Foundation universe will be expanding with a new prequel show, 1883, and a spinoff set on the 6666 ranch in Texas—both of which will stream through Paramount+—and fans will have plenty to look forward to.

What's S.W.A.T. about?
When will season 6 debut?
After much delay, Paramount Network finally announced that the fourth season of S.W.A.T. will return on Sunday, November 6—so now's the perfect time to get caught up.
Add to that the news that the S.W.A.T. universe will be expanding with a new prequel show, 6663, and a spinoff set on the 6666 ranch in Texas—both of which will stream through Paramount+—and fans will have plenty to look forward to.

Grey’s Anatomy’s most recent episode was the fourth chapter in season 18 which aired on ABC back on October 21st.
Titled With a Little Help From My Friends, the episode saw the returning Richard recruit Meredith and Bailey to help launch a new teaching program at Grey Sloan which saw the two doctors rotating between residents carrying out a delicate gallbladder procedure.
The new ‘Webber Method’ largely proves to be a success while the same can’t be said for Addison Montgomery’s latest transplant operation as her patient began having inexplicable seizures, causing the doctor, who had suffered some dark times during the pandemic, to go into panic mode.
Thankfully, the cause of the seizures was identified and the patient was fine in the end but the scare no doubt caused some reflection for the returning Addison.
Episode 5 of Grey’s Anatomy season 18 will air on ABC at 9/8c on Thursday, November 11th, 2021.
That’s right, fans must wait another week before the next chapter of Grey’s Anatomy.
The wait promises to be worthwhile, however, as episode 5 will see Grey’s Anatomy crossover once again with its sister show, Station 19.
Titled Bottle Up and Explode!, Grey Sloan’s team of doctors are forced into action in episode 5 following an explosion that rocks the city of Seattle.
Owen suffers from PTSD due to the explosion while Megan enlists help in the form of Winston and Hayes.
Meanwhile in Minnesota, Meredith and Amelia encounter another familiar face who assists in their study.
How many episodes in season 18?
The episode total in Grey’s Anatomy season 18 has yet to be announced but it’s expected that the show will return to around 24 episodes as seen in previous seasons.
For seasons 16 and 17, the show had to be cut short thanks to production delays caused by the Covid-19 pandemic but this year, filming has so far been going more smoothly.
As a result, Grey’s Anatomy’s 18th season is expected to run until May or June when the 2021/22 TV season comes to an end.

Looking back over horror history, there are some icons that we’ll surely never see fade away. We have Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, Leatherface, Jason Voorhees; although, it’s arguably been far too long since we’ve seen the Camp Crystal Lake killer.
Of course, Chucky has earned his place in the horror hall of fame alongside these monumental names.

What's Chucky about?
After much delay, Paramount Network finally announced that the fourth season of Chucky will return on Sunday, November 1—so now's the perfect time to get caught up.
Add to that the news that the Chucky universe will be expanding with a new prequel show, 1113, and a spinoff set on the 1111 ranch in Texas—both of which will stream through Paramount+—and fans will have plenty to look forward to.

One Day in the Shop: June 17, 2009
Today’s image, a Cisitalia D46 in front of an Alfa TZ2, with tons of talent all around. This image features a large chunk of the top talent that was in place on Paradise Drive in 2009, and strikes me as appropriate timing, because I’m currently finishing up some work on an Abarth… a car from the company that acquired Cisitalia’s assets when it went bankrupt. From left to right, Tom Smith (RIP),…

The 10 Most Anticipated Movie Trailers Of 2018

The 10 Most Anticipated Movie Trailers Of 2018
The 10 Most Anticipated Movie Trailers Of 2018
This was always going to be a crowded year at the box office. Avengers: Infinity War, Ocean’s Eight, and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald are just a few pf the blockbusters on our radar. But there are some who are on our watch list that still haven’t given us a proper trailer, or even a single look into what’s going on with their production. It’s those films we’re here to discuss, and the following 10 pictures are ones we’re really looking forward to scoping out, yet we’d be even more excited about them if we could see some actual footage. (Hint hint, Hollywood.)
The First Purge
youtube
While we’ve gotten an announcement trailer for The First Purge, there was no real footage on display in the riff on a standard political ad. With the prequel nature of the project in play, as well as the surprise unveiling of cast member Marisa Tomei in the film’s cast, it’d be nice to see both of those aspects at work in a longer form trailer.
The Equalizer 2
youtube
For as steadily as The Equalizer 2 has progressed in its production, we haven’t even been given a look at the film’s poster, much less any footage. Considering Antoine Fuqua and Denzel Washington’s latest reunion was shifted to the rather bullish release date of July 20th, you would have thought a small teaser would have been in the can, at least. Here’s hoping we see something soon, otherwise we might start to worry about this one.
The Meg
youtube
A giant prehistoric shark versus Jason Statham and a team of experts. That’s what The Meg is promising movie-goers who may not be familiar with the Steve Alten authored series of sci-fi adventure novels. But to those who have read the books, there’s the typical anxiety of how the world of these stories will be brought to live in cinematic color. Both camps are waiting to see a trailer in action, and both have really good reasons to do so.
The Predator
youtube
There’s still plenty of time for The Predator to start its engines and tease its fans into an absolute frenzy, as September 14th will see the film’s debut. But when your fans are a strong and long line of devotees that find themselves excited for the return of Shane Black’s writing to the franchise, you can bet that the sooner you show off some action and dialogue from The Predator to the public, the stronger the buzz will begin to grow.
The Nun
youtube
For as young as The Conjuring franchise is, it’s certainly wasted no time putting out two different spin-offs into the world. While Annabelle is two films strong at the moment, The Nun is just starting with this summer’s offering. With an extremely profitable franchise still in action, the excitement for a glimpse at Corin Hardy’s follow-up centered around the titular menace featured in The Conjuring 2 only needs some tangible visuals to deliver this film into a rather lucrative debut.
Goosebumps 2
youtube
The jury is kinda still out on Goosebumps 2. We don’t know whether or not Jack Black’s R.L. Stine will be back for the ride. We’re still waiting for confirmation that the film’s new subtitle is Goosebumps: Slappy’s Revenge (or the rumored: Goosebumps: Horrorland). And since news has been a bit scarce as of late, we’re wondering if the film’s still on course for an October 12th release.
Halloween (2018)
youtube
If director David Gordon Green’s Halloween sequel were just another entry in the canon’s continuing adventures, we’d still be pretty interested. That said, it’s the fact that Green and co-writer Danny McBride have wiped the slate clean and crafted a direct sequel to the original film that really has folks talking about this new return to Haddonfield. Seeing Jamie Lee Curtis’s Laurie Strode alive and well again in a movie theater, even if it’s just for a sneak peek, is something that is also all the more exciting because of this daring decision. Now, let’s see a teaser!
First Man
youtube
About this time last year, Damian Chazelle and Ryan Gosling were among those who saw La La Land’s dreams of taking home the prize for Best Picture both become realized, and ultimately dashed. So naturally, with their Neil Armstrong biopic First Man slated for release this October, they’re going to want to leave as best of an impression on the future awards voters as they can. Putting out a killer teaser in the next couple of weeks could be the thing that does the trick, as they’d be getting ahead of most of the competition by doing so.
Creed 2
youtube
While we’re still shaky on whether or not Creed 2 will make its 2018 release date, we’re still amped to see the son of Apollo Creed face off against the son of Ivan Drago in the ring. As Michael B. Jordan is currently blazing a trail on screens as the sympathetic villain Killmonger in Black Panther, you can bet fans thoughts will turn to when the first look at this flick will be hitting our screens.
Holmes & Watson
youtube
A decade ago, Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly last wowed audiences with their anarchic brand of comedy in Step Brothers – a movie still held in good regard to this day. And yet, it’s taken them so long to make another film together, with the drought ending in the release of Holmes & Watson this Christmas. Obviously, the sooner this trailer debuts, the sooner you can stop people from blasting “Boats N’ Hoes” on repeat ad infinitum.

Mike Cambra - Death By Stereo and The Adolescents
When, where and why did your dream as a musician begin? I grew up around a lot of musicians and was going to shows at a young age. My Dad grew up playing guitar and bass as a young kid and played in a ton of bands growing up, and he still played in some when I was growing up and is an amazing bass player. Most of my uncles were all in bands too. One of my uncles on my Dad's side was in a band called The Tubes who had some hits in the past and still drew pretty big crowds. We would go watch them when they toured through the area. It was cool to see my uncle up there completely killing it on stage, I came to realise how insanely talented he is. As a kid watching him on stage I always thought having all these people go nuts to your songs was a really cool thing, it looked so fun but completely terrifying at the same time. I knew really young that I wanted to do that. When and why did you choose to sing? Did this ever change, if so why? Also, do you play multiple instruments and if so which is your favourite to play and why? Well, I'm predominately a drummer in the bands I play in but I started out playing bass guitar. When I was around 9 years old my Grandfather had an accident with a lawnmower and injured some fingers. When this happened he asked my Dad if I wanted his bass guitar because he couldn't play it anymore - I was totally stoked. When he gave it to me my Dad let me plug into his amps and play it when, luckily for me he was in bands so we had a jam room at the house. I was enamoured. Eventually my parents got me my amp. It was so much fun once I just learned the very basic notes and all I wanted to do was sit in my room and learn songs that I liked, that vibe you get when you are first able to play along with a song was amazing, it was like getting high before I really knew what that was. As I was starting to learn bass my brother had gotten a drum set. We both messed around a lot on the instruments but he was also involved in a lot of sports so that took a lot of his time. By that time for me I wasn't really into team sports, I liked skating and playing music, so when he was at sports practice or not around I'd try to jump on his drums and play. I was too nervous to play in front of anyone so when I was alone I'd go for it. I remember just slowly getting more interested in the drums and playing bass only at night when it was too late to drum cause of the noise. After another year or so I wanted to learn guitar also cause I felt like it wasn't that different from bass and I wanted to be able to play everything in the songs I was trying to learn. Getting into punk around the same time, some of the more simple stuff I was able to pick up on all three instruments and it made me want to get better at all of them so i could play harder songs. It was like a contest to myself to play harder tunes. I think it was just because I got better at drums quicker than the other instruments I just went with that as my primary interest. It was like the better you got, the more fun it became because I could play more songs. Any major influences? A specific song? Well style-wise while I was just starting out I'd have to say the early 90's Epitaph/fat stuff mostly. With the help of my brother turning me onto most of this stuff, I'd say bands like: Lagwagon; Strung Out; Propagandhi; The Suicide Machines; NOFX; The Vandals, and then some more Ska stuff like Operation Ivy and Meal Ticket kind of shaped my playing. Eventually I started getting into heavy stuff cause I had some straight-edge friends that introduced me to more of the hardcore scene. As far as a personal influence - I'd be lying if I said that anyone had a bigger impact on me than Josh Freese . When I was like 13/14 years old some older dudes I played in a band with called Peanut n' Me would all go to the Showcase Theater in Corona to see The Vandals' Christmas-time shows. He was insane, I'd never seen someone play like that before, he was effortless but crushing - smoking a cigarette with one hand and playing with one hand through an entire song without it even being audibly noticeable. He was what I wanted to be. I thought that 'Live Fast, Diarrhea' was the coolest punk drumming performance out and it's still my favorite record for punk drumming. A very close 2nd , and at times a first, is Derrick Plourde from Lagwagon. On the same level as 'Live fast', is 'Duh and Trashed' for me. I spent hours and hours trying to learn Derrick's fills. One of the most fun to listen to drummers in punk. I don't think I'd hear any arguments if I was to say he is one of the most creative drummers to grace the genre. Unfortunately I never got to watch him in person before he passed, I would have loved to geek out to him. RIP Derrick. Successes and failures along the way? Hahaha! I think success and failure is subjective. To what I thought I would have done with drumming I would say I've had some success, not really a financial one but more for the experiences I've had. When I was a teenage dipshit I never would have thought drumming some punk-rock songs would have taken me across the globe so many times so far. I cant begin to describe how stoked I am for the things I've seen and gotten to do with some of my best friends. I actually just got back home from playing on the Flogging Molly Salty Dog Cruise alongside the bands that have influenced me like crazy; Lagwagon and The Vandals. One of the days I found myself floating around on a beach on a private island in the Bahamas right next to Josh Freese, it was pretty surreal to be swimming in the ocean right next to one of my biggest influences. I probably sound like the biggest dork now hahaha! As far as failures, well I can't pay rent or buy a house from just drumming yet so I guess there's that haha. I don't know if I'd say not getting a band you audition for is a failure, but as long as I don't totally botch an audition I don't really get that burnt. You can't be the guy for every band, unless you're Josh Freese and you drum for a million different rad bands hahaha! Any funny stories – lessons learned? Every tour you do there's a ton of those stories that when you get home you spend hours just punishing your friends with cause you just want to relive some of those experiences. I don't know..punk rock climbing near Bondi Beach with The Casualties, Ten Foot Pole, Strung Out and a few others while out in Australia on a tour was pretty ridiculous. Seeing dudes in punker boots was a fun thing to see. I'd say a good lesson you learn from touring is just to relax and go for it. Tour can get stressful as hell and with a bunch of other grown men all traveling in a van (or bus if you're one of the lucky ones) together for weeks or months can be stressful if you're the type of person who can't live outside their comfort zone. The less you stress, the easier and more fun your time is. I mean, you get to travel with a bunch of your friends playing shows in different cities/countries, often you have to take a step back and realise how lucky you are to be doing this and living this kind of a ridiculous life. Recommendations for those wanting to play your instrument or sing and get into the business? The biggest type of advice I would tell anyone that's trying to be a full-time musician is go play with EVERYONE. Take as many opportunities as you can, even if it's not immediately rewarding it might lead to something that is, because you never know what can happen. One thing could lead to another which eventually lands you in a crazy place that you would have never gotten to if you didn't do the 5 things that lead up to it. Also; don't be afraid to listen and take criticism, some people can be a total dick about things but take it with a grain of salt and always try to improve. If someone has constructive criticism about your playing, be able to admit to yourself if they're right and don't let them be able to say the same next time they see you play. Your future plans? This summer I'm gonna be quite busy. I have an East Coast tour and a 5 week long European/UK run with The Adolescents, and then I'm in the process of booking some runs with Death By Stereo. Actually, Death By Stereo is in the UK right now playing a bunch of sick shows with our buddy David Fajardo filling in for me. I wasn't able to go due to the Flogging Molly Cruise Line but I'm stoked he was able to help us out - he's an amazing drummer that also drums in Stay Wild and In Decline. He's a dude that you'll be seeing more of. In July Adolescents has a new album coming out called "Crop Duster" on Concrete Jungle. pretty excited for it to come out, I'm really happy with how this album turned out. Everyone in the band had a hand in the songwriting which made it super diverse for us. Death By Stereo is also writing right now for an upcoming album that we'll be trying to tour as much of worldwide as we can to support it. DBS are kind of the boy-scouts of hardcore/punk, we'll do the most DIY shit just to be able to go tour a rad place and we've been able to see some incredible places because of it. I'm also in another band called Common War that's more of a blackened hardcore/punk thing that also includes JP from Death By Stereo. Last year we released a record called "Possess Yourself" on Irish Voodoo Records. Hopefully by the end of 2018 we'll be recording our next one. In addition to music, I also co-own a punk-rock/graffiti inspired street-wear brand called Learn To Forget with my homie Reilly Herrera. It's been such a fun thing to do with him. Ever since I saw a few things he made like 5 years ago I wanted be involved in his art. We just wanted to put out cool shit that our friends would rock and it just started organically becoming something more than I think he or I imagined and everything we put out is 100% designed by Reilly. He's one of those guys that is just inherently artistic. The company is literally just him and I. The brand is completely inspired by the punk-rock lifestyle that we - being in DIY touring bands - live as a reality. We launched the company in 2013 with a mindset that comes with being in bands for so long and just wanting to do something real and rad. Reilly plays bass in a mindfucking band called Night Verses. I think they are one of the most talented bands out right now, as original as it gets and talent just overflowing from all of them, aside from being the raddest dudes. Slowly the brand has gotten busier and developed into something that we're both completely stoked on. Check out our gear on Facebook, Instagram at 'learntoforget_' , or at www.learntoforgetbrand.com . Which specific instrument did you start with and what is a good starter instrument? As far as drums, when I started playing it was on my brother's Pearl Export kit; random cymbals, random metal snare, random everything. I didn't know about good equipment and didn't care, I was just stoked to play. I don't think there's a certain amount you should spend. If you're broke then just figure it out and make a Frankenstein kit just so you can play. Eventually you'll figure out how to get some better equipment. In the beginning I don't think its even necessary to have good equipment, its more important to learn how to play with what you have. What do you play now? Nowadays I play a Masters of Maple custom kit. It's a company based out of Los Angeles and they sound great. For cymbals I play all Paiste, pretty stoked on how they sound live and in the studio. The kit and cymbals are pretty pricey but I get some help from them so it doesn't kill me that bad. What is your dream instrument/set-up and how much? Growing up I always dreamed of having a DW kit. Eventually I bought one and I sold it a few years later to buy this Masters of Maple that I play now, so I guess I already got my dream kit and sold it? But honestly, if I could just have fresh heads and non-cracked cymbals forever that would be good enough for my dream kit, because I hit hard and cymbals break often haha, such is life... https://www.facebook.com/officialtheadolescents/ Read the full article

THIS WEEKEND WE CHANGE THE CLOCKS. it's fall back time. also a great time to change the batteries in your smoke detectors. new arrivals for 10-26-17 Alvarius B: With a Beaker on the Burner and an Otter in the Oven - Vol. 1 Natural Wonder LP $22.99Alvarius B. on With a Beaker on the Burner and an Otter in the Oven - Vol. 1 Natural Wonder: "Volume One of three new LPs I am releasing simultaneously called Natural Wonder, this is the more melodic, savvy one and you might like it. Maybe I'm lying and it's the innocent, straight record so maybe you should get Vol 3 (ABDT 059C-LP) instead if you're in a darker mood. But that's not really true either. Or maybe it's one of those records that grows on you the more you continue playing it... like a cancer. The musicians who played on all three albums don't deserve to be involved in these kamikaze promotional descriptions so don't blame them for any of this. They played so well on these records, in fact they play much better than you do, and their performances deserve a 'Whammy,' which is the awards show where I'm in charge and the winners get to shoot members of the music industry academy dead in their seats. That's where it's all headed you know. . . . The modern world of record making has become so fucking dull and obedient that someone has to ram a poison dagger up your asses and since you're all under hypnosis, I promise you won't feel a thing. I could pay Dougie Jones to write this piece to match your intellect or hire a publicity company to promote it but who really gives a fuck? I'm still making records for myself and the rest of humanity doesn't speak my language anyway. By deciding to write my own album promos, I can perform some market research. For example, this album description text will undoubtedly be copy/pasted by most online retailers onto their respective sites because they don't write their own new album reviews or get too excited about music, they simply want to create the illusion that they're in business to sell records. So I could put something like: Fuck all website retailers that copy/paste this description onto their site because they are too fucking cheap, lazy or chicken shit to have an opinion to write individual album reviews -- and they probably wouldn't even notice while doing it. Anyway, back to my new album. These songs are pretty good, most likely way better than your songs, and I don't even have time to be a real songwriter, so what does that say about you? It says that you suck. And most of you do. But you should buy my new three album set because it's probably as good or better than any other LPs that will be released this year. But if you aren't ready to go all-in with confidence, then forget it. I don't want any mudskipper sub-species of the crayfish to buy my records. There are always a few speculators who'll pick up the extra copies you won't buy anyway." One-time pressing; Includes printed inner sleeve with lyrics and credits. Baird, Laura : I Wish I Were A Sparrow CD $12.99lp also available $23.99"With a musical timeline dating back to her early childhood, Laura Baird is an exceptionally talented multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, best known for her projects with her sister, Meg, as The Baird Sisters, and guitarist Glenn Jones. Baird's own sound stems from the Appalachian folk tradition, and she connects to it via family lineage -- her great-great uncle I.G. Greer's folk recordings for the Library of Congress are a large influence. Also woven in are classical composers like Bach and Satie, and modern day musicians such as Opal and Yo La Tengo. With this debut solo album, I Wish I Were A Sparrow, Baird plays odes to the traditions from which she learned, combining Appalachian balladry and the roughness of old field recordings, but there is also a dose of dreaminess and solitude that captures sleepy central New Jersey. This is where she departs from tradition, leaving the communal origins of folk music to capture the singular self. The lyrics also present an amalgam of old and new, with half of the songs, including 'Dreadful Wind and Rain' and 'Pretty Polly,' being passed down from the folk tradition, and the other half, including 'Wind Wind' and 'Love Song From The Earth To The Moon,' coming from Baird's own hand. While the most salient part of her previous Baird Sisters project was the melding of familial voices and various instruments, Baird's solo effort is centered around the combination of her virtuosic banjo playing and prominent but airy vocals." Cipriani, Stelvio : Bay Of Blood LP $34.99A Bay Of Blood (1971) is a film directed by Mario Bava, known for explicitly inspiring the Friday The 13th saga as well as for being the forerunner of the slasher genre, is undoubtedly one of the most inspirational masters of horror cinema. His magical use of camera zoom, off-field, and out-of-focus, and cynical and crude death set pieces, make it a masterpiece in which every scene exudes very personal and expressive poetry. Stelvio Cipriani's score, which develops a rich sequence of different themes and genres, and all accented by the evocative melodies and excellent orchestrations of the maestro, is brilliantly supported by the excellent rhythm performance of Enzo Restuccia on drums and Mandrake Som on the tumba and bongos. It is the voodoo-style percussion and violin that introduces the splendid original theme played by the maestro himself who plays piano, celestial, spinetta, harpsichord, and organ in the arc of the soundtrack. All in all, 21 tracks that make up the score: "Evelyn Theme", the bossa nova "Due Amanti", the dramatic and psychedelic "Un Cadavere Nel Lago", the Italian-style samba of "Giovani e Liberi", "Shake Giradischi", whose title is well representative, the tension the pursuit of "Inseguimento E Uccisione", the abstraction of "Ritrovamento Dei Cadaveri", and so many others. First time on vinyl; Edition of 500 (hand-numbered). NWW: Swinging Reflective 2CD $23.99Out of print for 17 years, Nurse With Wound's The Swinging Reflective was originally released in 1999. Features collaborations with Coil, Diana Rogerson, Jim O'Rourke, William Bennett, Legendary Pink Dots, Foetus, Current 93, David Tibet, Tony Wakeford, Inflatable Sideshow, Aranos, Chris Wallis/Peat Bog, and Tiny Tim. All tracks are remastered and it is the perfect partner for Swinging Reflective II (DPROM 134CD). Also features Steven Stapleton and Stereolab. This set is packaged with all new artwork; Comes in a heavy board, gloss laminated six-panel digipak. Ty Segall Band: Slaughterhouse 2LP $29.99"A reissue of the 2012 debut release by the Ty Segall Band on In The Red, featuring a bonus song not on the original release! The Ty Segall Band is Ty Segall (obviously), Mikal Cronin, Charlie Moonheart and Emily Rose Epstein. While Segall has released many incredible solo releases, Slaughterhouse marks the first time he recorded with his touring band. For this mini-album (originally released as a double 10-inch, but now expanded to a double 12-inch) the band recorded with Chris Woodhouse at the Hangar, turned their amps all the way up, set their fuzz pedals on 'obliterate' and commenced to kick ass and take names. Seriously, this record will melt your face. All of Segall's usual psych-pop sensibilities are present but Slaughterhouse adds the full-throttle, go-for-the-throat bombast that the band delivers in the live setting. The fuzz riffs, bratty howl and Cro-Magnon bashing culminate with a feedback freakout that's clearly the only sensible way to end a workout of this magnitude in shit to announce the debut release by the Ty Segall Band." Durutti Column: Paen to Wilson 2LP $32.992017 blue vinyl repress. 2013 RSD release. Paean To Wilson is arguably Vini Reilly and the Durutti Column's most important and consistent piece of work since the demise of the original and seminal Factory Records in the early 1990s. It was commissioned by the MIF (Manchester International Festival of Music), in July of 2009. Vini had already composed pieces for Tony to listen to while he was ill in the hospital and it was from here that the project developed. The bonus disc first appeared in 2005 via Wilson's project F4, the fourth version of Factory Records. Originally it was a download-only release, Heaven Sent (It Was Called Digital, It Was Heaven Sent), then was issued on CD in 2010. Goat: Fuzzed In Europe LP $30.99When the masked Swedish collective Goat toured Europe in the autumn of 2016 to promote their then recently released third album Requiem, the band came up with the idea to record every show. On returning back to their home town of Korpilombolo, Goat painstakingly went through all the recordings and picked out six tracks to be released on a limited live album presented here, Fuzzed In Europe. Goat picked these six tracks in particular because they are different versions to what is found on their releases. Goat's live reputation is second to none -- since their first public shows in 2012, they have stunned audiences across the globe. The band's brand of danceable, tribal psychedelia is guaranteed to create mass hysteria from the wanting crowds -- Goat know how to create music that is made for the "head" as well as the "body". There are rumors of Goat disappearing into the hills, that they have hung up their masks now for good and have slipped away as quietly as they arrived on to the scene. Whether this is true or not, it can't be said, but even if they have or have not disbanded from public view, this is a great document of their immersive power to cherish. It celebrates a band completely at the top of their game. The eye popping beautiful artwork for Fuzzed In Europe was created by the great poster artist Adam Pobiak who has worked with everyone from Soundgarden to Justice and Swans to the Flaming Lips. Green/black splatter; Edition of 2000. Nocturnal Emissions: S/T 2LP $29.99Double LP version. Led by Nigel Ayers, Nocturnal Emissions was one of the first bands to use tape cutting, avant-garde art, and underground video works to create a stage experience that was cultivated by like-minded artists like Throbbing Gristle and Cabaret Voltaire. The band moved on to using samplers and electronic noise in their early '80s work, creating a twisted funk sound that would go on to influence everyone from Foetus to Negativland. They still utilized their former tricks, upping the ante with extremist performance art and more professional video displays. The group avoided signing to a major label, instead focusing on releasing their own music more effectively. They followed this path into the '90s when they started www.earthlydelights.co.uk, an incredibly detailed website that promotes their various ideologies -- they are strongly against the British monarchy and believe that citizens should have unlimited access to space travel -- and constant release schedule. The band has released countless tapes and CDs of their material, and continues to unleash their noise through their website. Nocturnal Emissions is a compilation of classic tracks from the early to mid '80s. Track selection by Alessandro Adriani. Graphic artwork by Simon Crab. Audio mastering by Rude 66. Battiato, Franco : Pollution LP $32.99"Franco Battiato is often heralded as Italy's answer to Brian Eno. A quizzical composer/lyricist, Battiato turned pop music upside down in the early '70s with three classic LPs -- Fetus, Pollution and Sulle Corde Di Aries -- that formed a confluence of avant-folk sensibilities and analog electronics. Pollution from 1972 is the captivating follow-up to Fetus. Like its predecessor, the album features Baroque textures, motorik rhythms, weird tape effects and Battiato's perfectly oblique vocals. Upon hearing Pollution, Frank Zappa joyfully proclaimed it 'genius.' While Battiato's core group of collaborators remains largely the same as on his debut, this phenomenal band (joined by an eighteen-year-old Roberto Cacciapaglia on keys) appears even more in the foreground on Pollution. Out of the Ash Ra Tempel-like riffs and urgent guitar strumming emerge hypnotic grooves and cinematic flourishes, suggesting a futuristic meeting point between Stereolab and Ennio Morricone. Dedicated to the Centro Internazionale Studi Magnetici, Pollution touches on themes of environmental catastrophe. Futurist allusions seep in through eccentric lyrics (at times sung backwards) about hydraulics, magnetic fields, etc., yet listeners don't need to speak the artist's language to grasp his melancholy vision. With Pollution, Battiato solidifies not only his cult figure status, but also many of his forward-thinking ideas on rock 'n' roll. Superior Viaduct is honored to present the first-time domestic release of Pollution on vinyl. Reproducing the original gatefold jacket, this reissue is part of an archival series that chronicles Franco Battiato's masterful body of work from 1971 to 1978." Roach, Steve : Structures From LP $25.99"Steve Roach is one of the defining American artists of new age music, perpetually on a quest for silence and the suspension of time in his music. Structures From Silence is his third album originally released in 1984, and is his first purely textural album, with a smooth, dark, gentle atmospheres unlike any of his other albums. 'Full of purring drones and high notes that shimmer and fade. Like a desert mirage, these structures hover forever at the horizon, an oasis from the din surrounding it' --From Pitchfork's 'Best Ambient Albums Of All Time'. 'Steve Roach's Structures From Silence remains one of the most important ambient albums ever crafted. It isn't as high profile as similarly poised records from Brian Eno, but its enduring influence has been unmistakably visible in the three decades since its release.' --FACT Magazine. Remastered from the original tapes, this is the first vinyl reissue of the album since its initial release in 1984." Nazoranai: Beginning To Fall In Line Before Me, So Decorously, The Nature Of All That Must Be TransformedLP $29.99"Nazoranai is the supergroup of Keiji Haino, Oren Ambarchi and Stephen O'Malley. For close to four decades, Haino has been a legendary figure in Japan's avant-garde community through his commanding presence in the band Fushitsusha and numerous solo ventures. Ambarchi, a prolific electro-acoustic composer of heavy ambience and hypno-rock, has long stood at the leading edge of Australia's experimental music scene, while O'Malley remains a principle architect for the drone / doom metal project Sunn O))) in harnessing extreme sub-harmonic frequencies. Collectively, Nazoranai operates as a live recorded collaboration, although Haino is quick to point out the difference between the words 'nazoranai' (which in Japanese calligraphy means 'not repeating,' as in developing a distinct, individual style) and 'sokkyō' (referring specifically to improvisation). In this parsing of terms, the group separates themselves from the free-music scene, which can be just as convention-bound as the established genres from which improvisers hope to escape. On the trio's third album, Beginning To Fall In Line Before Me, So Decorously, The Nature Of All That Must Be Transformed, Nazoranai explore two side-long tracks of superb abstraction. Ambarchi and O'Malley provide the perfect brute-rock rhythm section to Haino's recklessly pure expression through instrument and voice. Blurred noise, dark hurdy-gurdy and thunderous harmonics build an accretive mantra of jagged electricity. While Haino's extensive discography resists easy interpretation, he constantly challenges himself to further his art by channeling the unknown. Shifting from his native Japanese to English, he asks: 'Do you still have a mystery?' This existential plea could apply to the artist's own deep inquisitions or stand to confront his audience about that which eludes their understanding. W.25TH / Superior Viaduct is proud to present Nazoranai's latest work, recorded at SuperDeluxe in Tokyo, which marks the band's first release on an American label."
