how do you grapple with having psychic gifts? im in a constant struggle of feeling crazy and validated.

Hey there, lovely.

That is a very difficult feeling to live with, I think most people who have gifts have felt this way at some point. I can definitely understand and relate. You're not alone.

I want to start out by saying: You're not crazy. There are some things we don't understand, but that has no bearing on your sanity. Your gifts are unique and precious.

It can definitely be a challenge, I'm not going to lie. It helps to have at least one or two people in your life who understand and who listen. I've been lucky enough that my Mom has always seen my gifts and has trusted them. Finding one person you can open up to, who's open minded and willing to learn is imperative. We can doubt ourselves so much, but having someone who can reassure us that we're not as 'crazy' as we think we are sometimes can definitely help ground us.

Reminding yourself of times that your intuition has benefited you is also important. Keeping a journal or a notebook of these instances can help you see how practical these gifts can be, it can make things more tangible when things feel too abstract or nebulous.

If you do struggle with mental health, keep checking in with yourself regularly, grounding yourself, going through your coping skills. Intuition feels much calmer in the body than anxiety. Anxiety can often feel like your head is in the clouds, rather than steadfast and assured. Gifts with mental health struggles is hard. It can be confusing. But knowing how your gifts feel inside your body, rather than inside your head can help you differentiate between your symptoms and your gifts.

Knowing you're not alone is another big help. You're not alone. Whether in your doubt, or in your gifts. When you don't know anyone else with gifts, it can become easier to think you're the odd one out, or like you're faking. Finding communities online can help validate the realness of what you're experiencing. Facebook is a great place. Reddit might have some corners, too. I'm not too active on other parts of the internet, but those two may be a good place to start.
