UPDATE #2: WE'RE BACK, BABY! Now with an EXTENDED edition! And we finally solved the audio issue. Turns out the filter had a problem with our edit, not the song itself (we'd cut part of the second verse, which was getting it flagged as modifying the OG song). 12 more seconds of glorious evolution!

For whatever reason "Jericho" by iniko became my theme song for the first venom movie (specifically Venom's pov cuz "Bang!" by AJR is Eddie's song) maybe not for completely logical reasons but for vibes it just felt right.

Anyway...

"Satellite" also by iniko just released recently...(Today I think?? I have bad Internet lol) And it just hits right with Venom the last dance.... like I am coming up with all the fix-it fic ideas to this song

Though horrifying creatures with nightmarish abilities, many Jek were mostly nonviolent. They would enter your dreams, turning them to nightmares by shifting into your worst fear (or whichever one they found most delicious)

Popular myth suggests those plagued by phobias had caught the 'eye' of a Jek - that person would be banished until the feeding period was over (could last from 1 week to 1 month if a Jek took a liking to your terror.

While not setting out to kill, their nightmares could and often did drive their victims to madness. Beating a Jek is beating fear itself, most could recover - as long as their fear wasn't good enough to make the beast come back.

But most Jek are long gone now. Walt, Iniko, and Bambi are all that remain of the ancient species, the old ways long forgotten but their instincts still loud and clear. If they can't find a way to trust each other, they may end up just like their ancestors

Hi! Yes, I'm sl sorry, it looks like our Jericho video is currently blocked on youtube worldwide. We DO have it up on TikTok though (split into 2 parts for their 1 min of music rule) while we work to see if there is any way to restore it on YouTube. In the past we've had global blocks be adjusted down to a regional block (i.e. Russia) after a couple of days, but we're not sure if it will be possible again.

Here is part 1 and part 2 of our Viktor | Jericho edit on TikTok in the meantime. Hoping to have an answer about YouTube in a couple days. We're grateful to at least still have the video online, even if we had to split it into 2 parts. Iniko (the artist) even reblogged it, which was insane and amazing!

As promised, a little more lore on em for ya:

Iniko was one of Walt's "failed" attempts at having children - reluctantly abandoned after his likewise failed insurrection against The Great Elk that forced him into hiding.

With no parent to pull them out of the ground, Iniko got a little...overcooked. As a result, their shifting is a lot more visceral than it should be, but their psychometry (ability to discern a person's memories via touch!) is more heightened than it would be.

They hate their fathers for abandoning them and never even attempting to look before deciding to have a new baby - Bambi. They've made it their life mission to take everything she has as their own.

Annndd just as a fun aside, here's Iniko with the only living organisms they genuinely like: plants.
