I’m not shy about headcanons that may or may not be fandom wide, but I also don’t necessarily keep track of it if that makes any sense? Like I’m openly canon divergent, given I cherry pick canon from different media sources, and runs in the comics, in addition to yeeting some canon into oblivion (looking at you Excalibur). It’s not anything that’s actually canon, but it seems to be a common fanon that Rogue is infertile and/or can’t maintain a pregnancy due to her being so optimal health wise after her cells ionized from absorbing Wonder Man. I have a lot of issue with that mainly because being ill, diseased, aging, being poisoned- these are all some degree of cellular attack or degradation...that’s not what a pregnancy is. A healthy pregnancy, barring issues on the baby’s end, is a HEALTHY AND NORMAL BODILY FUNCTION. Now if you want to get into could she actually carry a pregnancy to term, what about her power if she doesn’t have control or has it but loses it? I don’t see that as an issue because it’s not skin. I think because the skin is the organ that serves as your first layer of defense, and it was the fact she was stuck in her defensive first reaction to her mutation that caused the lack of control, a baby past the skin being present isn’t going to trigger her mutation. So that, and her not wanting kids as being canon out of left field after years of her wanting them, are really the two big things I take issue with that isn’t fandom kosher. And I give zero shits it’s not the popular opinion.

I’ve not been able to explore her with Natasha, or Alex Summers as much as I would like to. I had a ship with reigninghavok but Chloe hasn’t been active in a hot minute and in one AU Rogue and Havok end up married in the comics.

I don’t really make AU wishlists, everything I want to write is essentially an AU in and of itself. Like literally anything with OCs or characters that aren’t the X-men, like Jessica or Matt. The entire thing is an AU already so I don’t really need to spring off of it unless one of us comes up with an idea cuz we saw something or something came up in a thread to inspire an AU idea.
