Regresser Daishou x Male Reader I’m not doing this so I can read it later you are Shush He’s a comfort character for me Ily all and ty for the idea  CW: Nickname “daddy” 

Daishou didn’t slip often since school was getting busier the closer you both got to graduation. You knew slipping was important to him, a huge stress relief, so you planned something out. Talking to the teachers you shared, you managed to convince them to cancel homework for a few days somehow and helped Daishou with the homework he did have so it got done quicker. When it was almost done, you were babying him, petting his head, calling him cute nicknames, offering to do things like open his water bottle or sharpen his pencil and he was starting to slip. 

“Daddy, stop I have ta do wowk.” Daishou said, leaning into your hand as you cupped his face, rubbing his cheek with your thumb. He realized the child-like words and started to turn red. “I have work to do babe, I have ta do it otay? I mean, okay?” He clenched his fists and fought off his little space, but you cooing over him wasn’t helping. 

“Aww my poor baby. Do you want daddy to get a snack for you? I know you haven’t eaten since lunch, and that was a while ago, huh baby? Is daddy’s baby boy getting hungry?” You smiled as you saw his lip quiver into a pout. He nodded and you knew he let himself slip. You’re plan worked, finally. “Okay, baby, daddy will be right back okay?” 

“otay daddy.” He mumbled and started digging through his little box. When you came back, he had his paci in and was playing with his snake plushies. You smiled and gave him the snack. When he finished, you put him on the bed. “huh?” 

“Nap time baby. You can get up later and continue playing.” His lip quivered and he looked up pleadingly. “No, it’s nap time.” He broke down, wailing and crying and hitting the bed with his fists, kicking his feet. Full tantrum. So, you sat down and did the same. Your behavior made him stop and try to get you to stop, saying sorry over and over again. You stopped and kissed his head. “Nap time?” 

“nappy.” He made grabby hands, tears still running down his cheeks. You cuddled up to him and smiled, kissing his head. “Ni ni daddy.” He mumbled into your chest. 

“Goodnight baby. Daddy’s fussy boy.” You chuckle and kiss his head again, holding him close. At least he got to destress a little. Right?

I have a MatsuHana oneshot in my drafts so I'll attempt to do the Daishou and Terushima one!

I try and stick to only using bubba/bubs/buddy for my drabbles but I did use 'sweetheart' in this one! I know some nicknames can be triggering for people so just letting you guys know <3

"Teru, watch your step bubba!" Daishou was sitting on the porch, watching as Terushima hopped around the yard. "Remember there's holes in the backyard!"

Terushima looked up, his bucket hat falling in to his eyes before nodding and rushing off to continue jumping around and kicking the bouncy ball he brought out with him.

Daishou hummed, sipping from his mug as he watched his Terushima play around in the yard. "'Shou!" Terushima leaned over and picked up the volleyball that was laying in the grass. "'Shou play?"

The volleyball was rolled towards him with Terushima chasing behind it, "Yeah, I'll play sweetheart! C'mon." Daishou led Terushima farther in the yard before tossing the ball up and gently hitting it over to Terushima.

They continued to the game, gently - and on Terushima's side, sloppily - hitting the ball back to each other until Daishou missed. "Good job bubs! You won!"

-they and their brother are both regressors ((Kagami Taiga from KNB))

-they both have cat stuffies that their adoptive dads gave to them before moving to Tokyo

-theirs is a black plush cat called Kitty

-nonverbal, will not speak and you cant make them

-also uses all pronouns but mostly they/them

-is definitely more likely to use she/her pronouns when little than when big

-Kenma is caregiver, Akaashi and Yaku are back up/ uncles

-is completely blind in their right eye

-must have their eye scars hidden when little, will cry non stop until someone fixes their fringe

-constantly putting their fingers in their mouth, Kenma buys them a purple paw print paci

-low key didn’t like that Kuroo would just grab his hand and start biting his fingers but didn’t want to tell them off ((even tho it HURT))

-likes purple and red clothes the most

-super sensitive to texture

-physical can not mask when little, all of their autistic traits are on full display

-lots and lots of stimming

-despite being the older sibling, regresses WAY younger than Kagami

-probably like 0-3

-humming is about the only noise they will make

-unless they are in more of a kitty headspace then they have a ‘meow’ tic but that’s it

-like I said gets stuck in tic loops with Ushijima and his ‘moo’ tic

-loves to sit in Kenmas lap and have cuddles

-little friends are mainly just little Lev and little Bokuto

-doesn’t really trust anyone else

-that’s a lie, gets on ‘ok’ with little Terushima and big bro Daishou ((the only time they get on with him lol))

-but still v reserved around both of them

-loves being called pretty, easiest way to their heart is to call them a pretty baby

-is partly why they like little Bo so much

-has only regressed with their brother a few times, Kagami gets VERY protective

-lots of glaring at Kenma, poor Kenma

-Their main form of stimming is shaking their open hands from side to side

-another one is flicking their cheek to make a raindrop noise

-is really good at it despite being kinda uncoordinated when little

-Bokuto calls himself ‘BoBo’ and plays the big brother roll most of the time

-is one of the only people that can pick up and carry Kuroo around

-“c’mon Ku’o. BoBo gonna help ya find our papas.” And just picks them up

-them and little Lev have a lot of play dates together as well

-it’s not uncommon for Kenma and Yaku to find them curled up asleep with each other

-because Lev is taller they try to cover Kuroo with their legs and arms to make them feel safe enough to sleep without Kenma around

-it works

-kitty space Kuroo will just knock over random things and then sprint away, poorly contained giggles and all

-also likes to sneak up behind their brother and just... jump on him

-almost always takes poor Kagami to the ground

-kitty Kuroo can fall asleep anywhere

-totally hissed at puppy Kyotani at camp once ((kyo barked at them first it totally wasn’t their fault Kenma!))

-actually hates milk, apple juice only

-their wardrobe is chaos, with femme, masc and little clothes never being sorted correctly

-gets upset if they can’t find their little overalls tho

-“Kuroo I told you, you need to sort this stuff and then you’ll be able to find it... is this a sandwich?”

Here is some Daishou Headcanons cause I love him

-He has a lisp that is more prominent when regressed

-His first little friend was Kuroo

-sometimes he accidentally pushes Kuroo into his cat headspace because of how often he calls Kuroo a cat

-very very giggly and mischievous

-Has type one diabetes which makes it hard for him to regress because how attentive he has to be with his body

-In classification au Mika is his “official” caregiver

-She loves to tease him and stick her tongue out to imitate him

-he loves soft cubes

-he also loves candy so usually Mika has to help him with his diabetes when little

It isn’t dumb! One of my friend’s favorite character is Ushi so I talk to it about him

Regressor Ushijima Headcanons

-He regresses around 2-4

-Good sensory feels are a must when he regresses so he typically wears soft pjs with adorable slippers

-Tendou and Shirabu are always up to watch over him either as a babysitter or bigger sib

-Ushijima likes older toys, for example he has a rocking horse and blocks

-He has special cups that won’t let him spill, he doesn’t like sippy or bottles

-He nonverbal when he’s regressed and Aone is probably his favorite person to have a play date with (Daichi is his second favorite, but Oikawa and Daishou are too whiny, Kuroo would be great but Kuroo doesn’t like being with younger regressors, Bokuto and Teru are a bit too loud, but I do think he and Kita would have nice play dates)

-two mood: 1st being an absolutely chaotic cat who pushed down everything, tries to climb everything, and bites everyone. 2nd being a softie
