Note
If this is too weird or personal feel free to ignore but im allergic to grass and my cats wanted me to sit in grass with them (how could i say no to them little faces) so i did and now i regret it 😿 could you maybe write something for this if you can?
Omg, sorry this took like...forever haha!
Yeah of course I can. I wrote a little regressed Cumulus because I feel like I've been neglecting her as of late <33

A Pinch of Pepper
Regressed Cumulus with Papa Primo as a caregiver.
Contains a fictional cat oc called Pepper.
Words: about 1100
Cw: Allergies, age regression Read here or on AO3.
In the serene outskirts of the ministry, where twilight dances on the edges of shadowed gardens, Sister Imperator’s voice echoed through the halls. "The ritual will commence in an hour. Be ready." The Nameless Ghouls scurried with their preparations, but among them, Cumulus, usually diligent, was conspicuously absent.
In a hidden nook of the garden that was kept in tip-top condition by Primo, the air was filled with the gentle, content purring of a black cat named Pepper. She had coaxed Cumulus, despite her known allergies, to join her in the lush green grass. Pepper’s emerald eyes glimmered with joy as she nuzzled close, her little face irresistible to her ghoulish companion.
Cumulus couldn’t say no to her beloved Pepper. She sat, feeling the itch start almost immediately as the grass brushed against her skin, but she smiled through the discomfort. Her heart swelled with affection for her feline friend. "Just a little while longer," she thought, petting Pepper who rolled happily in the grass.
Pepper, sensing her ghoul’s discomfort, nudged her gently. With a playful leap, she darted towards a nearby patch of wildflowers, her tiny paws rustling the petals. Cumulus followed, unable to resist the charm of Pepper’s playful antics. Together, they danced among the flowers, Cumulus twirling gracefully while Pepper pranced around her feet, her joy infectious. The soft, colourful petals brushed against Cumulus’s skin, providing a momentary distraction from the itching and sneezing.
Laughter filled the air as Pepper playfully pounced on a fluttering butterfly, her tiny paws swatting at it with adorable determination. Cumulus clapped her hands, encouraging her feline friend’s delightful game. They twirled and frolicked, the world outside the garden momentarily forgotten.
As they played, Cumulus felt a childlike joy bubbling up inside her. She regressed, her demeanour becoming more carefree and innocent. Her outfit reflected her state of mind: a pair of dungarees over a simple, soft shirt, making her look like a child lost in a world of wonder.
But soon, the allergic reaction escalated. Her eyes watered, her skin itched ferociously, and sneezes racked her body. Despite her condition, she tried to stay composed, not wanting to disturb Pepper’s joy. However, the situation became unbearable, and she reluctantly stood up, cradling the cat in her arms as she made her way back indoors.
Papa Primo, catching sight of her, raised an eyebrow. "Cumulus, you look dreadful. What have you been up to, child?"
With a rueful smile, she explained, "Pepper wanted me to sit in the grass with her. I couldn’t refuse."
Papa Primo chuckled softly. "Ah, the things we do for our companions. Go and clean up. The ritual can't wait."
Nodding, Cumulus hurried to her quarters, setting Pepper down gently. Pepper meowed in protest, but Cumulus gave her a reassuring pat. "I’ll be back soon, love."
As the allergic reaction subsided, Cumulus felt a warmth spread through her—not just from the quintessence from the ghouls, but from the memory of Pepper’s joy. Despite the discomfort, she knew she would do it all over again for that moment of happiness with her furry friend.
Later that night, after the ritual had concluded, Cumulus found herself back in the garden, Pepper at her side once more. They returned to the old bench beneath the oak tree, the grass still at a distance but the bond between them stronger than ever. Pepper purred contentedly, her gentle rumble a soothing backdrop to the rustling leaves and distant night sounds.
As Cumulus leaned back against the weathered wood of the bench, her gaze wandered over the garden bathed in moonlight. The evening air was cool and crisp, carrying with it the lingering scent of wildflowers. It was a serene moment, made all the more tranquil by Pepper's presence nestled in her lap.
A soft footfall drew Cumulus's attention, and she looked up to see Primo approaching with a gentle smile. His hands, accustomed to tending the garden's every need, now reached out to softly stroke Pepper's fur. The black cat arched into his touch, emitting a satisfied purr that resonated through the night.
"Cumulus," Primo said softly, his voice carrying a soothing cadence. "I saw you earlier. Pepper seemed determined to bring you joy tonight."
Cumulus smiled warmly, grateful for Primo's understanding. "She did indeed. I couldn't resist her."
Primo's gaze flickered with affection as he glanced at Cumulus. "You have a remarkable bond with Pepper. It's clear she adores you."
"And I adore her," Cumulus replied, her voice filled with quiet affection. "Despite my allergies, she brings me so much happiness."
Primo nodded knowingly. "Animals have a way of touching our hearts deeply. Their love is unconditional."
They sat together in companionable silence for a while longer, the night deepening around them. Primo's presence was comforting, his silent support a balm to Cumulus's soul. He understood her need to be with Pepper, to share in the simple joys that the garden offered.
After a time, Primo rose gracefully to his feet. "Come, let's get Pepper settled for the night. You need rest as well, little one."
Cumulus nodded gratefully, carefully lifting Pepper from her lap. Together, they walked back towards Cumulus's quarters, Primo leading the way with a lantern casting a warm glow ahead of them.
Inside, Cumulus settled Pepper into her cosy bed, stroking her fur gently. "Goodnight, my sweet girl," she whispered, pressing a soft kiss between Pepper's ears.
Primo stood nearby, watching with a fond smile. "She'll sleep well tonight, knowing you're close."
Cumulus nodded, her heart warmed by Primo's kindness. "Thank you, Primo, for always looking out for us."
"It's my pleasure," Primo replied sincerely. "Rest well, Cumulus. Tomorrow is a new day."
With a final nod of gratitude, Cumulus bid Primo goodnight and retired to her own bed, her mind still filled with the tranquil moments shared under the starlit sky. As sleep embraced her, she knew that in this garden, with its blossoming flowers and caring companions, she had found a sanctuary—a place where her love for Pepper could flourish, allergies notwithstanding.

The World Is Ugly, But You're Beautiful To Me
a/n: This is for @anotherbananasong based off of their earth and air. and big thanks to @thatfuckinjester for helping me write part of this fic
word count: 2.9k
cw: self hatred, sex as self punishment, smut, FtM Air, age regressed Pebble
Song that helped the creation of this:
Tumblr media
Air used to love having his wings touched, both sexually and non-sexually. But now all he has left of his large, black and white, shiny wings are the scar-covered arcs.
Earth, his mate, hasn't touched him since he lost them out of guilt, and Air can't bring himself out of his room in the catacombs out of shame for losing the ‘one thing’ that made him look good.
It hurts to not be touched by the one whose soul is entwined with his, but the voices in his head tell him it's for the better, that Earth won't like him because of the loss of his ‘only’ attractive feature.
Alpha has tried to bed him, but is told no, which both surprises and angers them. Air doesn't want to be looked at with lust or break his mateship with Earth, but the loneliness gets too much and he needs to shut off his brain and just go numb.
What better way to do that than be used. There isn't one for Air and he gives into Alpha's insistent pushing. Like before when this would happen, Air lies on his stomach while the fire ghoul takes him from behind with no mercy to Air's scars; purposefully pressing on them and grabbing his shoulders while digging into the marks left on his glamoured form with their thumb.
Alpha even makes purposefully mean remarks about the scars and how they make his ‘subpar’ looks even worse than before.
The sex makes Air feel even worse than he did before. Usually he would stay in the bed and wallow in shame while Alpha snores next to him, but this time he leaves.
“Where you goin’, Skywhore?” The fire ghoul huffs as they roll over to look at the door.
Air flinches at the name, a name mocking the sweet one his mate gave him. The air ghoul doesn't respond, he just flips off Alpha before slamming the door behind himself; a sudden show of anger. An unusual reaction from the usually docile ancient.
Air makes his way to Earth's room, not even knocking before opening the door and dropping to his knees at the foot of Earth's nest.
The big earth ghoul sits up from where he was pretending to sleep and stares at his mate on the floor, scrunching his nose as the scent of sex and fire ghoul on him.
Earth hasn't spoken since he saw the fresh scars on Air's wings, the scars caused by him getting seen by outsiders in his true form. He can't bring himself to speak, but his scent gives him away; worried and angry.
Worried because Air is here unannounced and smelling of sex, angry because he knows who pressured him into sex.
“I'm sorry…” The air ghoul whispers, “I'm sorry I slept with Alpha again… Please don't keep ignoring me..”
Apologies after being bedded by Alpha are something Earth's used to hearing, but he can hear the true apology behind his words; “I'm sorry I lost my wings, your favorite part of me.”.
“C'mere, Skybird…” He mumbles with an outstretched arm.
Air hesitantly crawls into the nest, perfectly built to be big enough for the two's unglamoured forms, which Air unconsciously shifts to now that he's back in his safety net. One of his wings outstretch to cover Earth, forgetting that his feathers aren't there to act like a blanket.
Earth sighs as this happens, usually he would get upset that Alpha pressured his mate into sex again, but Earth is too tired from not having slept for the past few days and he doesn't want to upset Air.
He wraps his tail around Air's waist, even though Air is in his true form, which makes his body bigger, he can tell that even before he grew, his corset was too tight to be comfortable. The tip of Earth's maple leaf shaped tail starts to slowly undo the tight knots of the strings of the air ghoul's corset.
He knows the anxiety is flowing off of Air as the strings are undone, the strings that keep the sometimes uncomfortable pressure on his mate's body.
“Skybird…” He breathes out as he gets comfortable with his mate once more. He'll leave the tough conversations for the morning.
The next morning, Air has his corset back on, which is no surprise, and he's no longer in his true form.
Earth sits up, moving Air with him, which makes Air wake up. Air realizes what he's done once he's awake. He slept with Alpha and then slept in Earth's Bed.
“My love…” The Air ghoul whispers.
“I want to know why you slept with them, but I’m not going to ask why you slept with them.” Earth sighs, “But I will say; I'm sorry for ignoring you.”
“I wanted to shut my brain off… be numb for a while..” He mutters into Earth's shoulder.
“I shouldn't have ignored you, should've given you a shoulder to lean on..” The earth ghoul says softly as he gently runs his finger over the few leftover feathers on his mate's wings.
They spend the next few hours apologizing to and loving one another; Air whispering out his feelings and Earth helping him through it.
Over the next week, Air slowly gets more comfortable with Earth's touch on his back and what's left of his wings, even though it hurts a little.
While they're in Earth's bed, cuddling and kissing, Air can't help the way his body is reacting to his mate's body and he moves so that he's lying on top of Earth. The bigger ghoul sighs as Air lies on him and wraps his arms around his mate's small waist.
Air starts to gently grind against his mate's leg as he deepens the kiss. It's rare for Air to take the lead, but it's not unwelcome. Earth's not sure how far Air is wanting to go, but he'll listen to his little skybird and do whatever he wants.
Air's grinding has an effect on Earth and he starts to harden in his pants and his hands go from around Air's waist to on his hips, moving them so that Air's clothed cunt is pressed against his dick, earning a gasp from the other.
“We'll go as far as you want Skybird, if you need to stop, you can say the word.” He hums, “You remember it, right?”
“Yup.” The air ghoul breathes out, “I do, it's ‘fog’, or the color system.”
“Good.”
And with that, Earth pulls Air back into a heated kiss and starts moving Air's covered Tdick against his hard on. Air's feeling good, he's missed this; the lazy days with his mate.
More kissing and grinding turns making out and giggling while fumbling with clothes until they're both naked and Air is under Earth.
Earth is pressing soft kisses to the air ghoul's neck while scissoring two fingers inside of his mate.
“So pretty for me Skybird..” He hums into Air's neck, “You still okay? You wanna go further or stay here?”
“Still good.” The air ghoul affirms, “We can go further… I wanna feel you..”
“Alright, Love..”
With that, Earth removes his fingers from Air. He looks Air in the eye as he licks his fingers, making an exaggerated ‘mmm’ just to make him blush and squirm.
He lifts up Air's hips and wraps his legs around his waist before lining himself up with Air. He slowly pushed in, letting his tip push into Air, groaning at the familiar feeling.
He gives Air a moment to adjust, time to back out, but when the words don't come, he pushes in further, fully sheathing himself inside his mate.
Air lets out the prettiest of whines as he gets filled so deliciously. The comfort of being so intimately connected to his mate is intoxicating. So intoxicating he starts moving his hips without meaning to, just lightly grinding so that Earth's tip rubs against his g-spot.
“Eager now aren't you, little bird?” Earth says softly as he brushes a piece of copper hair out of Air's face.
“Feels good…”
“Good, you deserve to feel good.” The bigger ghoul responds with a smile.
Earth slowly starts rocking his hips in the way he knows his mate loves, which pulls quiet whines and whimpers from the ghoul under him. Air isn't always vocal, but that's just another thing Earth loves about his mate.
Earth presses kisses to Air's neck, sucking a few light marks into the pale skin and pulling back to look at his work.
“Beautiful.”
Air wraps his arms around Earth's neck, his claws digging into his mate's back as the steady rub of Earth's tip against his G-spot slowly makes him get closer to a painfully beautiful orgasm.
Earth's barely pulling out, but the fact that he's making Air feel good enough to get him off.
Earth moves to be sitting up and takes Air with him so the ghoul is now in his lap as he continues his shallow thrusts as he looks Air in the eyes.
“Skybird, I love you. Earth whispers to his mate before pressing his lips to his mate's.
Earth's words, his hands on Air's hips, his movements, his lips, his scent, him, is enough to help push Air to that peak, making him fall apart in his mate's arms.
Earth swallows the whimper Air lets out and gives a few deeper thrusts to help Air ride out his orgasm before he starts to chase his own. It doesn't take long for Earth to spill himself into Air.
He's about to pull out of Air when Air stops him.
“Don't take it out… I wanna stay like this for a while…”
Earth is more than happy to stay inside his mate if it makes him happy.
Tumblr media
Over the next few days Earth and Air get back comfortable with each other again, and eventually Earth wants to see the damage done to his mate's wings.
“Are you sure you want to see them?” Air mumbles, his voice full of insecurity, “They're not pretty anymore…”
“I'm so sure, Skybird.” The larger ghoul says softly as he gazes lovingly into Air's eyes, “The world may be an ugly place, but the loss of your wings won't make you a part of that ugliness. You'll always be beautiful.”
Air starts to tear up at Earth's words, but he quickly unglamours into his true form, letting Earth see the damage done to his once fluffy wings.
The feathers are gone, save for the few small ones on the arches that still try to grow. The smaller wings on the bottom seem to be in worse shape as when they were broken they weren't set to heal properly.
That bitch. Is all Earth can think before he wraps his arms around Air's waist.
Earth can feel the tears drop from Air's eyes which triggers his own tears to start falling.
“The world is ugly, but you're beautiful to me…” Earth mutters into Air's shoulder, “She can take your wings, but she can't take your beauty.”
Tumblr media
“Hey Peb? Can I get you to do me a favor please?” Earth hums as his hand strokes through the little earth ghoul's hair.
The ghoul perks up from where he was coloring and looks to Earth with a nod.
“You know how Airy's wings got hurt?” He questions gently, receiving another nod, “I wanted to make him something for him to feel better. Before you leave today, I'm going to give you a little box, I want you to give it to Cumulus okay?”
Pebble gives yet another nod, this one more curious than anything.
“Thank you, hun.” Earth says with a smile.
Tumblr media
“Hm? What's this little one?” Cumulus hums as she brushes her bangs out of her eyes to look at the box.
“From Earth.”
“Gotcha, thanks.” She says as she pockets it and picks up Pebble to take him to her room.
Cumulus lies Pebble down in her nest and lights a forest scented candle so he can relax and go to sleep. He's taken a liking to her room while he's in little space recently.
Once he's asleep, she opens the box to see what's in it. She sees some cash and a note.
I need a favor, I'll owe you one. I need you to go to the craft store and get stuff to make fake wings. Here are the dimensions; --cm by --cm. I don't know if this'll be enough, if it's not I'll give you more. Take your time making it. Take Pebble with you, he'll know the right color. -Earth
Why does he need fake wings made? Cumulus thinks to herself as she folds the note back up and puts it on her night stand. She mulls over the thought, she'll make the wings, she will, but she wants to know why.
The next day, ‘Lus gets Pebble ready to go to the store, he has to glamor down to his human and go without his mask. Doing one at a time is challenging for him, especially when he's little, so doing both is even harder. As a compromise, Cumulus lets him wear a medical mask and pretend he's sick.
They're walking through the aisles, trying to find the fake feathers, they're going to need a lot of feathers to make the fake wings for Earth.
Pebble is squeezing a stress toy he found on a shelf with one hand as he holds Lus's hand with his other hand. Pebble gives her hand two squeezes and points down an aisle they pass.
Cumulus looks down the aisle and sees feather boas; they're on the right track. She turns the cart to go down that aisle and her eyes scan the many long strings of faux feathers.
Pebble lets go of her hand and runs his fingers down the wall of faux feathers before stopping on a string of off-white almost light gray feathers.
“These… These are Air's.” He mumbles as he picks them up off the rack and hands them to Cumulus.
“Thanks my good little helper.” She says with a smile as she takes the boa and grabs a few more off the rack and tosses them into the cart.
Cumulus looks to her left and on the wall are bags of colored bird feathers, and she grabs all the bags of the ones that match the boas in the cart.
She takes the little earth ghoul's hand and they walk to the fabric section and get a few yards of a soft, silk fabric that's close to the color of the feathers in the cart before heading to the checkout.
Cumulus lets Pebble get the stress toy he's been playing with and a soda along with a candy as his reward for being a good helper. She can't help but spoil the little ghoul.
Tumblr media
A few weeks of Cumulus becoming obsessed with finishing the fake wings go by and when she's done, she takes the wings down to catacombs to give them to Earth.
The further into the catacombs she goes, the more stale the air becomes and the harder it is to breathe. She reaches Earth's room and knocks on the door, which is quickly opened by Earth.
“Yeah? Who is it..? Oh! ‘Lus, you got ‘em?” He says excitedly.
“Yup,” She chirps, “They should fit perfectly, but can I ask why you needed them made?”
A long pause goes between the two before Earth speaks up.
“You'll see in a moment, come in.”
Cumulus does as he says and steps into the room to Air lying in the large nest in the room, reading a book with an oxygen tube going around his face and giving him fresh oxygen through his nose.
So it's not only her who struggles to breathe down here.
“Air I have a surprise for you that I had Cumulus make, can you come over here for a moment love?” Earth says softly as he shuts the door.
“Yeah, sure.” He says as he stands and walks over to them, taking off his oxygen hose, “What is it?”
“You're going to have to go into your true form, is that okay?” Earth explains.
Air hesitates for a moment, not sure if he wants to in front of a ghoulette he's barely spoken to, but he decides to do it since she's the one that made his surprise.
Cumulus is immediately shocked and angered at the sight of Air's featherless and broken wings.
“Who-” She starts before getting cut off by Earth.
“Imperator.”
Cumulus sees red but tries to hold it back while with Air. She takes a deep breath and starts unfolding the fake wings and handing them over to Earth.
With Lus's help, Earth quickly gets the fake wings securely attached to what remains of Air's actual wings. He won't be able to fly with them, but he'll have his wings back.
Once she's done helping, she slips out the door to go give Imperator a piece of her mind.
“Skybird.” Earth whispers, “Look in the mirror, love.”
When Air looks into the mirror, he starts to cry. He's looking at his wings, but also not at his wings. They look just like he remembers, but not the same at all at the same time.
“They're beautiful.” He chokes out as he touches them and feels the familiar yet unfamiliar softness.
Earth wraps his arms around his mate's waist, sensing the conflicting emotions within Air.
They stand there together, living in the moment, loving one another and basking in the beauty of each other.
The world may be ugly, but they'll always be beautiful to each other.

More little ghouls??? Please? 🙏🥺
cw: regressed ghouls, age regression
Cumulus watches as Mountain pushes his food around his plate with a grimace on his face. His cheeks were slightly swollen and blotchy red from just having his braces tightened earlier that day. He was clearly struggling with, clearly in pain but trying his hardest not to let it show. He wasn’t doing a very good job, Mountain wears his emotions on his face.
Cumulus stands from the table and moves so she’s standing behind Mountain, running her fingers through his hair. “You doing okay, darling? I can make you something a little easier to eat if you want?”
Mountain shakes his head. “I’m okay, I promise.”
She wraps her arms around his shoulders, resting her head on top of his. “Are you sure? I can make you some soup or something?”
He smiles at her, or at least tries to smile. “It’s okay, I can manage.”
Cumulus knows that’s a lie, he hasn’t eaten anything off his plate in the last fifteen minutes but she isn’t going to force help into him when he clearly doesn’t want it.
“Okay, darling.” She places a kiss to the top of his head. “You come to me if you need anything, okay?” She gives the top of his head another kiss and feels him nod underneath her.
She excuses herself from the table and retreats for the night, ready to soak in a hot bath and start her bedtime routine so she can get an early night sleep. She was helping Aether and Phantom in the infirmary tomorrow and a full night sleep was needed. While she doesn’t help with the medial side of things, she far from qualified for that, she knew she’d be on her feet all day taking tea, medication and friendly conversation to patients all day.
She gets awoken a few hours later by something poking her shoulder.
“Mama?” There’s a sniffle. “Mama, please.” Another poke. “Please wake up.”
She shuffles, blinking the sleep heaviness from her eyes and flicks her bedside lamp on to find Mountain kneeling on the floor by her bed, with tears running down his still swollen and red cheeks.
She brushes away a few of the tears that have pooled under his eyes. “What is it, baby? What happened?”
He pushes his face into her hand. “Hurts, mama.” He sniffles again, more tears welling in his eyes. “Hurts so bad.”
“Oh, my poor baby.” She coos at him, pulling the bed covers away from her and shuffled back to make room for him. “Come in, get in. We can have a cuddle.”
Mountain scrambles up from the floor and flops himself into her bed, whining when his sore cheek touches the pillow.
“On you back, baby. So your cheeks aren’t touching anything.” She helps him roll over into his back. “That’s it, good boy.”
Cumulus takes the edge of her blanket and very gently dabs at his cheeks to dry away the tears. He whimpers as she does but let’s do it, looking up at her with big wet eyes.
“There we go. That’s much better, hmm? No more tears.” She dabs the blanket under his eyes one last time, only just noticing the deep dark circles under his eyes.
“Have you been to sleep at all tonight?” She looks over to the clock in her nightstand to find it’s just past 5am.
Mountain shakes his head with a sad whine. “Hurts too much to sleep, mama.”
“Oh, baby.” She runs her finger through his hair and scratches at his scalp, something he normally loves. “Have you taken anything for the pain.”
Mountain shakes his head, pulling the covers up to his chin. “Didn’t know what.”
She leans over him and rummages through her bedside draw to find a packet of ibuprofen.
“Take these, darling.” She pops two of the pull out from the packet, helping Mountain to sit up so he can swallow the pills. “It’ll help bring the swelling down and help take some of the pain away.” She grabs her water bottle and lets Mountain take two king sips from it so he can take the medication. He whines as he swallows.
She gently helps him to lay back down, very gently rubbing his swollen cheek with her pointer finger. “Hopefully that will take enough of the pain away so you can sleep.”
Mountain hums, pushing his face into her gentle touch.
“Oh!” Cumulus suddenly exclaims, making Mountain jump. “There’s something else that might help.” She rummages through her bedside draw again. “It’s teething gel from when Sunny had her wisdom teeth coming in.” She pulls out a small tube. “I don’t know how well it’ll help you, but it’s worth trying if you want.”
Mountain nods enthusiastically, he’d try anything if would give him any relief from the pain he’s feeling.
Cumulus squirts some of the clear gel onto her finger. “Open your mouth, baby.” Mountain drops his mouth open obediently.
She very carefully rubs some of the gel into his gums, not wanting to cause him anymore pain. He whimpers in relief, his eyes fluttering closed as the gel immediately cools always some of the pain in his mouth.
“That feel good, baby? Feeling better?” Cumulus continues to rub the gel all over the rest of his gums before pull her her finger out of his mouth and wiping it on the covers.
Mountain nods and smiles up at her, a proper smile this time. “Tingly.”
Cumulus laughs at him. “Yeah? It’s tingly?” “Yeah, feels nice.” Mountain hums. Cumulus cuddles into him, carding her fingers through his hair once again. “Think you can try and sleep a little now?”
Mountain yawns, rubbing at his eyes with his fist. “Yeah. So tired, mama.” “I bet you are, darling.”
Mountain shuffles so he’s lying with his back to her, his cheek pressed against the pillow, but the pain dull enough now that he can ignore it. Cumulus tucks herself up against his back, pressing her face into the back of his neck and running one hand along his belly. It doesn’t take long for Mountain to fall asleep, drooling into Cumulus’ pillow as he snores quietly.

Little ghouls!
I finally have the energy to go into lil ghouls so I might as well!:D
here’s a idea of the ages I see when they regress from oldest to youngest!
-swiss: 9 to maybe 11
-aurora: 8 to 9 something like that (I’m very rough on this idea so this might change)
mountain: 6 to 7
-rain: 6 to 4
-phantom: 3 maybe 4
-dew: like six months to one year
maybe aether regresses haven’t thought much into it yet
Okay time to ramble
Swiss doesn’t regress a lot Aurora doesn’t either. phantom and rain are little a lot more then Swiss and Aurora but rain is often the one to take care off phantom and aether takes care of Swiss when he does regress all tho it’s more off just making sure he doesn’t get himself in trouble he’s pretty good by himself. Aurora likes to be around Ifrit but mostly cumulus and cirrus and sunshine they give her girls nights and it’s so cute! Rain likes to have dew take care of him. And mountain likes to stay with dew when he’s little. Swiss takes care of phantom a lot too. Aether and mountain are dews main caregivers
I can go more into it with hcs and maybe lil ficlets but writing isn’t my thing so well see

overwhelmed autistic caregiver rain and demanding little dew
rain cries, brief cumulus mention, Swiss comes to help, probably kinda bad writing but anyway
dews been demanding everything all day, he woke up little, pretty small but not as small as usual, he's big enough to make all the demands in the world.
rains incredibly overwhelmed by all of this but he's trying his hardest. dew is currently curled up on a beanbag on the floor in front of rain using rains phone to look at Ikea stuffed toys.
"rainy! I want a gosig råtta, pleaseee please please please and I want Apple juice, in the red cup" dew requests in a high whiny voice. rain is struggling, he gets up with a sigh and begins to head towards the kitchen
"we can ask papa about the rat later, we can't get it right now droplet" rain says in the calmest voice he can muster.
dew hops up off of the beanbag and begins to follow him, whining and begging for the rat the whole way to the kitchen.
by the time they walk into the kitchen rain looks like he's about to burst into tears, he walks over to the cupboard and pulls out the pink sippy cup that dew asked for before heading to the fridge. he rummages through the fridge, pulling out the apple juice, he freezes as he touches the bottle.. it's sticky, it's so fucking disgustingly sticky. that's the last straw for rain, he quickly leaves the room and dew behind, mumbling something about little dew to Swiss as he passes.
he searches for cumulus, struggling to hold back tears.
when rain finds her he immediately buries his face in her chest, she almost immediately knows what's wrong with him and holds him close till he can speak coherently enough to tell her the whole story
back in the kitchen Swiss is now with dew, he's given dew his juice and has cleaned off the bottle.
"we'll go talk to papa about getting that rat in a second, yeah?" Swiss says to dew, dew nods excitedly.
"but"
"but we can't keep making all these demands like this firefly, especially not with rainy, its a bit too much for him baby."
dew kind of just whines in response to this, he doesn't fully understand why he's being told this but nods a little
please im sorry I do not know how to end this at all and I've run out of thoughts

i talked with @rainsbasspick about little ghouls and they asked if i could write little rainy having some girl time with the ghoulettes. i absolutely loved the idea, so here it is!!! also in this one rain is definitely physically smaller
Rain wakes up small, aching and cold. She was with Dewdrop, but he had to get up and leave early, having a busy day planned, so when she wakes up the bed is already cold. She grumbles, tumbling out of the bed and whining when she puts some weight on her legs. The little water ghoulette pouts as she grabs her crutches—the smaller pair; purple ones covered in glittery fish stickers—before leaving her room.
Rain heads to the kitchen by the common room to grab a little snack for breakfast. She’ll wait for a big ghoul to make her something proper, but for now a milk slice will do. She grabs one and retreats to the couch to munch on it as she waits for someone to show up.
The little ghoulette gets lost in thought and a little sad that she can’t spend time with Dewdrop today. She loves others and will gladly spend time with them, too—anytime—but Dewdrop is her favorite, and sometimes it’s only him that can keep her mean thoughts at bay. Today she’s doing okay in that department, but she’s not exactly cheerful, either, and she could really use Dewdrop’s presence and warmth.
Rain gets snapped out of her thoughts by footsteps in the corridor behind her and she turns—hoping it’s the fire ghoul coming down for a snack himself. It’s not and she whines under her breath, but she’s still happy to see Aurora and Cumulus.
The older ghoulette notices her first. “Oh, hi, little pearl! What are you doing here all alone?”
“Just sittin’.” She shrugs, before taking another nibble out her snack. “Got a milk slice.”
“I can see that,” Aurora giggles, coming closer to ruffle Rain’s hair. It’s a bit more tangled than usual, she notes. “Glad you got a snack, sweet girl.”
“Mhm,” she hums. The two air ghoulettes look at each other knowingly, their brows furrowed at the little water ghoulette’s mood.
They seem to be having a silent conversation for a minute before Aurora speaks again, “How would you feel about having some girl time with us, Rainy?”
“We could do our hair, paint our nails and do some makeup,” Cumulus chimes in. “Maybe even have a little tea party with juicy gossip. What do you say, pearl?”
The two of them can see Rain’s face brightening at that in real time and she nods excitedly a second later, “Yes, please, mama, please!”
Cumulus and Aurora giggle at how adorable Rain is, the former picking her up into her arms while the latter grabs her crutches. Soon enough they’re settling in the ghoulettes’ shared room and preparing all the stuff they’re going to need for their girl time. Rain’s so much more light, already, and they haven’t started yet.
Aurora brings an armful of cosmetics and hair accessories from the bathroom while Cumulus pulls out some fancy looking robe to swaddle Rain in and make her feel like a truly pampered lady. She giggles when the older air ghoulette wraps the fluffy robe around her and leans down to rub her face against the soft collar.
“What about we start with face masks?” Aurora proposes and the other two nod. They put them on each other—that type that grows into a cloud on one’s face. Rain giggles through it, crossing her eyes to stare as the face mask grows on her nose, and blows on the bubbles when it’s ready to wash off so they’ll fly away.
Then it’s time for hair and makeup. Rain does Cumulus’ and Aurora’s faces first, before the other two take care of her. She’s happy and bubbly and the other two are so grateful that they came up with all that.
The nails are left for the end, so that they can dry in peace. Aurora has acrylics done, as usual, so she waits while Rain paints Cumulus’ nails and while the older ghoulette waits for them to dry, Aurora does Rain’s.
“Okay, now we can talk while your nails dry, pearl.” Cumulus sits criss-cross and rests her elbows on her knees, leaning in closer to Rain. Aurora does the same and they start talking and giggling about all kinds of stuff. Gossiping, essentially.
Their little session gets interrupted a while later when someone comes gently knocking at the door. As Aurora gets up to open it, Rain turns around to see who came to see them.
“Dewy!” the little water ghoulette cheers and scrambles to get up. Her legs still hurt, though, so she doesn’t get too far, but thankfully Dewdrop picks her right up and spins her around.
“Hi, my little lady!” he laughs. “I missed you today.”
“Missed you, too,” Rain purrs, nuzzling into the fire ghoul’s neck. Dewdrop walks over with her back to the ghoulettes’ bed and sits on the edge, greeting Cumulus. “What are you three up to in here?”
“Girl time!” Rain announces happily. She pulls back to show off her sparkly purple nails, freshly dried, and her hair—two high buns with pretty pins and a few loose strands framing her face. “D’you wanna join, Dewy?”
“Oh, but I’m not a girl,” he chuckles. “I don’t want to intrude, I just came to check on you, baby.”
“No, i’s okay! Come on, ‘m gonna do your makeup,” Rain giggles and smiles so brightly and Dewdrop could never ever tell her no.
“You’ve got no choice, sundew,” Cumulus winks at him with a smile. The fire ghoul notices her nails and makeup are a bit…clumsily done today and looks over at Aurora to see her in a similar state, minus the nails. He gathers he’s going to leave there looking similarly, but he would never complain about anything that makes Rain happy.
“Nope,” Aurora seconds. The little water ghoulette nods excitedly.
“Well, then,” Dewdrop claps his hands and grins. “Take care of me, ladies.”
The fire ghoul and Rain emerge from the ghoulettes’ room a few hours later; Dewdrop carrying her as she fell asleep halfway through one of the Barbie movies they ended up watching. His nails are done (nearly up to the first knuckle), his long hair is in two uneven ponytails—adorned with big red bows—and his face is covered in various makeup products that make him look just a little bit creepy. Especially the blush.

!!!! Can we get little!dew and little!rain with caregiver!mountain :)!!!! Pretty pls!!!
yes, of course !!! as long as we pretend this hasn't been sitting here since june !!! I AM SO SORRY, ANON
found family
mushy may ; day nineteen (approx. 1.4k words)
read under the cut or on ao3 :)
some wholesome, semi-crack regressed rain, regressed dew, caregiver mountain and caregiver cumulus for you !! @forlorn-crows' mushy may is still going strong, haha !!
“Rain!” Mountain calls from where he’s stood at the stove, holding the hand of a very sleepy Dew. “What did I say about running in the kitchen, minnow?”
“Umm…” Rain hesitates as he struggles to remember exactly what Mountain had told him a few days prior.
Luckily, Cumulus is happy to swoop in and aid the little water ghoul in his struggles. She nudges him gently with her hip from where the two of them are now standing together making the pie crust. “Did Dada Mounty tell you that running wasn’t allowed, hun?”
“Yeah!” Rain exclaims, happy to have figured the answer out, but his face immediately falls as he realises he’s broken a rule. “Oh… ‘M sorry, Dada…”
“Thank you for being sorry, Rain.” He smiles over at the water ghoul as he continues to stir the saucepan of stewed fruit on the stove, all the while holding onto Dew’s hand and letting him taste test the mixture. “Can you remember why it’s not allowed?” Mountain asks. Rain nods, trying to hide behind Cumulus in his shame. “Can you tell me, please, love?”
Rain nods again. “Uh huh… ‘S ‘coz i’s dangerous?”
“Mhmm, that’s right, hun.” Cumulus interjects, simultaneously talking and measuring out the flour that Rain has just brought her. “Kitchen floors can be very slippery, and if you’re carrying something dangerous and fall over, you could hurt yourself.”
“Oh,” Rain pouts. “Not good…”
“Not good at all,” Mountain agrees, pulling Dew closer into his side as he does so—the poor ghoul must be just about ready to drop from exhaustion. “Do you understand why it’s bad now, Rainy?”
The water ghoul nods enthusiastically. “Uh huh! I been told why i’s bad, so it makes sense now!”
Cumulus smiles and plants a kiss on the top of Rain’s head. “I’m glad it makes sense now, love bug.” Rain beams at the pet name. “Now that you understand properly,” she continues, “will you do it again?”
“No!” Rain proudly declares. “I gotta be safe for my Mama an’ my Dada!”
The air ghoulette smiles again and pulls Rain into her arms, wrapping him tightly in a warm embrace. “That’s exactly right, Rain! Thank you for being so big and responsible for us.”
“Mama’s right,” Mountain adds once he notices the way Rain is staring at Cumulus in confusion. “Acknowledging that you’ve done something wrong can be really tricky, but you’ve done such a good job at understanding why it was bad, minnow. We’re very proud of you, Rain.”
At Mountain’s side, a very quiet, sleepy voice pipes up, “Wain didded a good dob.”
Mountain looks down at Dew and smiles widely. “That’s right, firefly!” He exclaims, hoisting the little fire ghoul up into his arms and resting him on his hip. Dew immediately starts nuzzling his face into Mountain’s shoulder and wrapping his arms around him. “Rain did a very good job.” He turns his attention back away from Dew to find Rain and Cumulus looking at the pair of them, smiles plastered on both of their faces.
Cumulus takes Rain’s hand and guides him over to Mountain, holding her arms out for Dew once they reach the stove. “How about Mama takes our sleepy bubba with me to work on the pie crust, and since you’re so big and responsible, Rainy, you can help Dada with the stove.”
Rain’s mouth drops open in shock. “I get to do a stove?” His tone is so incredulous that Mountain can’t help but chuckle softly as he transfers Dew into Cumulus’ arms.
(She carries the fire ghoul around to the other side of the bench and seats him on one of the tall chairs, plopping herself down on a stool and sliding the pie crust over to her side of the bench. Now Dew doesn’t have to worry about standing up, and he’s free to sit back against his chair and watch his Mama get to work on tonight’s dessert through steadily drooping eyelids. When Dew does, eventually, fall asleep, there is no doubt that Cumulus will fetch the fire ghoul’s favourite soft blanket to swaddle him in and hold him close to her, keeping him safe as he allows himself to rest.)
“Only if you promise to be very safe, minnow,” Mountain cautions. “The stove is really hot, so if you want to help me stir and keep an eye on it, you’ve got to be careful, love.”
Rain jumps up and down excitedly, mercifully a safe distance from the stovetop, but Mountain adjusts the handle so it isn’t sticking out towards the kitchen anyway; can’t be too careful with an overexcited little ghoul running around. “I will be so caref’l, Dada! Pinky promise!”
Mountain smiles down at the earnest water ghoul and holds his pink out. “Well, if we’re pinky promising then it must be a very serious promise, hmm?”
Rain giggles and nods, holding out his own pinky and linking it with Mountain’s. He shakes their joined hands and Mountain has to suppress a laugh of his own as he struggles to free himself from his minnow’s surprisingly strong grip. “Rai– Rain let go, the pan’s going to burn!” Mountain’s tone holds no urgency—the stove is set on a low enough heat that Mountain doesn’t think it’s even possible for it to burn—but Rain lets go of his hand with a gasp anyway.
“Nooo,” he cries out. “Don’ let it burn, Dada! We gotta stir it!” He picks up the spatula Mountain has been using to stir the mixture and waves it around urgently. A glob of sticky—thankfully cooled-down—pie filling flies off the end and lands right on the tip of Mountain’s nose.
Rain drops the spatula with a squeak—more of the jam-like substance finding a new home on the floor—and looks up at Mountain, mortified. “D– Dada–” he tries.
“Oh no,” Mountain starts, a playful glint in his eyes. “I’m not Dada anymore… I’m the pie monster! And I’ve come to eat little ghouls who spill pie on their Dadas!”
Rain giggles and starts running, shrieking when he turns around to see Mountain starting to follow him around the kitchen.
As Rain starts running, Mountain starts up again. “I also eat little ghouls who don’t listen to their Mamas and Dadas and run in the kitchen even though they’ve been told not to!”
Rain slows down to a walk almost immediately. “Sorry, Dada,” he whispers quietly, just in case the pie monster is still listening.
“That’s okay, minnow,” Mountain whispers back. “Thank you for being safe.” He smiles over at Rain gently before raising his arms above his head again. Mountain is gone now, and the pie monster returns! “Now, come back here! I need to find the ghoul who summoned me so I can wipe the pie filling all over him!”
Rain yelps again, speed-walking over to where Cumulus and Dew are sitting. “Mama, help me! Pie mons’er is gonna eat me!”
Cumulus wraps the arm that’s not holding Dew close to her around Rain, holding both ghouls close to her body. “Pie monster, be gone!” She can’t keep a straight face and neither can Mountain, but Rain doesn’t seem to mind, still so caught up in this little universe they’ve all created (Dew is asleep and doesn’t have any strong opinions on the matter).
Despite Cumulus' best efforts, Mountain keeps advancing slowly, arms outstretched. All at once, the earth ghoul reaches out and grabs Rain, tugging the little water ghoul towards him, peppering his face with kisses, growling playfully as both of them pretend this is the worst possible fate that could befall Rain. The water ghoul shrieks and giggles, trying his best to wiggle out of Mountain’s arms to no avail.
“Mama, he gotted me! Save Dewy!”
Cumulus gives him a mock salute and holds the still-sleeping bundle of Dew more tightly in her arms. The little fire ghoul squirms and whines at the movement before settling back down into a deep sleep.
Rain glances over at Mountain, and ah hah! While the earth ghoul is distracted by Dew’s sleepy noises, Rain leans over and licks the pie filling right off of his nose.
Mountain blinks once or twice, trying to process what has just happened before he bursts out laughing and hugs Rain even closer. “Wow, you saved me from the pie monster! Thank you, minnow.” Rain beams. “Uh huh!” A pause as he pulls back to stare at Mountain. “...Do we go make a pie now?”

i saw your reblog and im here to say id love if youd write little rain with crutches
I'd absolutely love to! Sorry this took so long - I was really busy for a while hehe :]]]
Without further ado -
Crutches and Comfort
Summary: Rain collapses on the stairs, feeling regressed. Cumulus is there for the rescue.
Pairings: Regressed Rain, Caregiver Cumulus and Dewdrop.
Words: 1100
Slight CW for mention of injury.
Rain did not see that coming.
He started to feel small for a while when his legs started to give way. His usual confident and statured pose gave way to a shakier and smaller version of him. As he called out on his steps in his room, he collapsed on the stairs.
“Mmmmmrph” Rain snuffed as he silently wanted to curse, his body descended on the freezing floor. He lay on the ground as pain crawled on his body, specifically the area where he landed - his right knee.
Cumulus heard the drop and headed to the water ghoul's rescue. The air ghoullete's essence seemed to cradle Rain, offering support and reassurance. She was by his side in a matter of moments.
“Rain, honey, are you okay?” She cooed softly, as she saw the collapsed ghoul on the cold, hard floor.
“Mmmm, owie” was all that Rain could get himself to say.
“You have an owie, Rain?" Cumulus eventually spoke, her voice raspy yet carrying an angelic tone laced with care and warmth.
“Mmmmph. Yes” Rain continued to speak, his voice wavering with pain. He pointed to his knee where he landed on - "owie".
Cumulus gently lifted Rain in her ethereal embrace, carrying him as if he weighed nothing. Her form enveloped him, providing a soothing sensation that eased his discomfort.
“Let me see where it hurts, my sweet Rain,” Cumulus whispered. Rain winced slightly but allowed her to examine him. She gently laid them on the stairs as she examined their leg.
"No visible injuries, dear" she softly cooed as she rubbed his knee, her touch gentle and healing.
“Can...I have...my crutchies, Lus?" Rain spoke softly.
”Of course, honey bunny" Cumulus stood up and disappeared for a few moments.
The room was adorned with a soft glow as Cumulus returned, holding the raincloud-stickered crutches. She carefully handed them to Rain, who gratefully took hold of them.
"Thankies, Lus," Rain murmured, using the crutches to prop himself up. Cumulus continued to hover around him, her ethereal presence radiating comfort.
Rain, with a determined yet cautious look on their face, gingerly placed the crutches under their arms. The raincloud-stickered handles were firm in his grip as he adjusted his stance, relying on them for support. Each step was a deliberate dance of balance and coordination. With the crutches firmly planted, Rain shifted their weight. He moved forward tentatively, the sound of the rubber tips meeting the floor punctuating his efforts.
"Feeling a bit small there, Rain?" Cumulus inquired, her words dripping with genuine concern and care.
“mmm...yeah..." Rain murmured after a moment. "Owie. It still really hurts" he continued to speak, as shifted his weight back and forth.
Cumulus remained attentive, her raspy yet soothing voice offering a constant stream of comfort. "Take it slow, my sweet Rainy. We'll get through this together," she reassured, the soft glow in the room casting a calming ambiance as Rain continued carrying himself on the crutches supported by the care and warmth of Cumulus.
She leaned in, planting soft kisses on their forehead, each one carrying a touch of healing and comfort.
"There, there, Rainy," she cooed, her voice wrapping around him like a soothing melody. "Let these kisses bring you some peace and healing. Now, how about we go on the couch with your stuffies and let you rest?"
"Yay, Lus" Rain continued, as he tried to steady is voice a little bit more.
Cumulus, with the same ethereal grace that defined her every movement, led Rain to the cozy embrace of the couch. As they settled in, Cumulus conjured a soft blanket, blue with rainclouds, draping it over Rain with gentle tenderness and ease. The room retained its warm glow, and the air felt lighter, infused with a sense of serenity. She took a seat next to the tiny water ghoul, as she let them wrap their arms around her.
Rain, nestled on the couch with Cumulus, his head laid on her chest, as he heard her heartbeat, only raising their head when they spotted Dewdrop passing by.
Dewdrop had a look of concern on his face as he witnessed the scene before him. Walking over, Dewdrop greeted them with a gentle ripple of fire that sparkled in the soft glow of the room.
"Hey there, Rain. What happened?" Dewdrop inquired, their voice echoing in the room. He noticed Rain shivering slightly, his eyes wide open.
"Fell down the stairs. Am small" Rain spoke quietly, and gently, as he nuzzled himself against Cumulus once more, trembling.
"Aww, are you cold, Rainbow?" Dewdrop couldn't help but aquire.
Cumulus, with a grin on her face extended a welcoming gesture to Dewdrop. "Join us, Dew. Rain could use the company. Besides,
you're literally a walking heater"
Dewdrop, embracing the opportunity, pounced onto the sofa next to Rain, wrapping his fiery arm around the water ghoul and stroking his hair with gentle warmth.
“Can...I have my...stuffie?“ Rain whispered, a vulnerable request that hung in the air. Cumulus, with a tender smile, gestured to the surrounding area, where the plush companions awaited.
"Of course, my sweet," she replied, her voice filled with warmth and understanding.
Cumulus conjured a shark plush, and nestled it beside Rain on the couch. Resting on the fluffy shark was Rain's favorite stuffie, a small water droplet plush with a smile that seemed to radiate comfort.
Rain nodded, a sense of gratitude washing over him. The trio—Rain, Cumulus, and Dewdrop—formed a unique synergy, a harmonious blend of air, water and fire, offering comfort and companionship. In the hushed moments that followed, the room became a sanctuary, where the troubles of the outside world seemed to fade away, leaving only the gentle sounds of raindrops and the ethereal glow that enveloped them in a protective embrace.
As the cacoon of warmth gently embraced the room, Rain, feeling the weight of weariness, snuggled closer to the plushie, as well as his companions on the couch. The warmth emanating from Cumulus, the soft glow of Dewdrop's body and the tales of resilience worked like a lullaby, soothing not just the lingering pain in Rain's knee but also cradling their soul into the land of sleep.
"Mmrph, might eep" Rain felt himself say, as he softly purred on the couch.
Cumulus, noticing the signs of drowsiness in Rain's eyes, continued to weave a gentle breeze around them, creating an atmosphere that whispered of dreams and tranquility. Dewdrop, with a soft crackling sound, adjusted his flames to emit a warmth that mirrored the coziness of a hearth.
With a contented sigh, Rain allowed themselves to fully surrender to the embrace of slumber.
Cumulus, with a tender smile, extended an ethereal touch to Rain's forehead, planting a gentle kiss that carried the essence of care. "Rest well, sweet. May your dreams be as gentle as a summer rain."

Little Aether who would be too shy to admit he regressed and would always whisper "I'm squishy.." whenever he was feeling small so Mountain or Omega would know.
Little Aether who is Omega's little Nova and who's so spoiled and loved by the older quint, he gets everything he wants and he listens to everything Omega tells him.
Little Aether who likes to play in the dirt in Mountain's greenhouse, giggling whenever Mountain teases him for it cause he's so silly.
Little Aether who gets shy around anyone who isn't Omega or Mountain, Cumulus loves this and fawns over it every chance she gets cause he's so adorable in her eyes.
Little Aether who's a big brother to Phantom and protects him and even shares his toys whenever they're playing together, he loves his little brother so much.
Little Aether who loves the warmth of Dew and likes to cuddle any chance he gets with the fire ghoul, Dew absolutely melts every time he does.

More Swiss and Cumulus with little Mountain?
It was late in the evening when Swiss gets back to the ghouls den. He’s been helping out in the infirmary all evening, helping ease the load for Quintessence ghouls during the beginning of flu season. As much as he liked helping them out, he was exhausted and all he wanted to do was curl up with his ghouls and go to sleep.
Once in the den he notices all the ghouls cuddles up on the sofa, all but two.
“Hey, where’s Mount and Lus?”
Dew blinks sleepily at him from where he’s tucked in between Rain and Cirrus.
“Upstairs.” He slurs. “Lus’ room I think.”
Swiss makes his way upstairs and towards Cumulus’ room without saying anything else.
Once is Cumulus’ room he’s met with the sight of them both curled up on her bed, Mountain in her lap resting his head on her chest. He’s wrapped up tightly in his blanket, his eyes peacefully closed as he sucks from the bottle Cumulus is holding up for him. Cumulus is running her fingers through his hair with her other hand, looking down at him so lovingly Swiss can feel his heart melting at the sight of them.
He shuts the door behind him quietly, the clicking makes Cumulus look up at him with a smile.
“Hey darling. How was the infirmary?”
“Long. But good, I like working in there.” Swiss makes his way over to the bed and gently flops down, curling up into Cumulus’ side. He gently rubs At Mountain’s leg through the blanket.
“How long has he been down?”
“All day. He came into my room before the sun even rose and curled up in my bed. He’s been like this all day.” Mountain sighs out of his nose like he knows they’re talking about him. “He’s been a good boy though, just wanted to be held and cuddled all day.”
Swiss’ eyes flick up from Mountain to look at Cumulus. “Luck you. Getting baby Mount cuddles all day.”
“I know, I’ve had such a hard day.” She smiles at Swiss.
Swiss reaches up and run his hand through Mountain’s hair. He gets no reaction from the earth ghoul, his eyes stayed closed with the bottle resting half empty in his mouth. “Is he even drinking that anymore?”
Cumulus hums. “Yeah. Just slowly.” She rubs at his cheek with her thumb. “He likes to take his time with it.”
“I forget he’s not as greedy as Dew is” Swiss laughs. “Has he been asleep most of the day?”
“Not all day. Most of the morning but he was quite giggly in the afternoon.” Cumulus looks down at him lovingly. “We watched a documentary on ocean life in the den, I don’t think he could understand it but he liked the colours and watching the fish, but when everyone came back from their chores he got a little overwhelmed with all the noise so we came back up here.”
Mountain’s eyes open then, blinking blearily and hazily at Swiss.
“Hi babyboy.” He rubs at his belly through the blanket. “Nice to see those pretty eyes.”
Mountain’s eyes flutter as he sucks a little harder at the bottle. “Oh yeah. You remembered about that, huh?”
Cumulus glares at him and shushes him. “Don’t tease him, you big meanie.” There’s no harshness in her voice and her glare turns into a smile.
The rest of the bottle gets drained quickly after that, Mountain only letting out a little hiccup and whines when Cumulus pulls the bottle from his mouth.
Swiss leans back and blindly feels around on Cumulus’ bedside table until he feels the familiar plastic he was looking for. He grabs the pacifier and hold the rubber end up to Mountain’s lips.
“You want this, baby?” Mountain parts his lips and allows Swiss to push the pacifier into his mouth with a squeak. He sucks the pacifier, his eyes slipping closed as he falls asleep against Cumulus.
Cumulus rubs at his cheek. “That’s it, our good boy.” She coos at him.
She turns to Swiss. “You should sleep too. You’ve had a busy day.” As is on cue Swiss yawns. “We both should sleep, it’s late.”
Swiss doesn’t argue, it would be pointless against Cumulus she always get her way. He snuggles down into her bed, pulling her duvet over him. She moves Mountain to the middle of both of them, he only fusses a little, his eyes fluttering open a little but Swiss is quick to sooth him. Cumulus settles down next to Mountain, wrapping her arms around him. Swiss does the same, both of them making a cocoon around the the ghoul. It doesn’t take long before the two of them are sleeping peacefully, cuddling into Mountain as he sleep.

mountains never done particularly well around children, he finds them quite overwhelming. getting stuck with one of his regressed pack mates is a nightmare for him, especially if he doesn't have anyone to help
stressed out cg mountain, cg Swiss, non verbal little cumulus
mountain woke up to a very clingy little cumulus today. she woke him up by jumping on him and rubbing her face all over him.
"good morning cloud" he mumbled in his barely concious state, she chirped and moved off of him so he could sit, her tail wagging a million miles an hour. she's always been one of the more hyper littles. "breakfast?" he questions, her eyes light up and she nods eagerly.
together they make their way to the kitchen, phantoms asleep at the table (again). "what would you, little cloud?" mountain asks her. she look around the room for a moment before vaguely gesturing at the cereal. "cereal? which one?" he asks, she just whined in response. "lus, which one would you like? show me honey", once again she just whines. he let's out a heavy sigh and picks which one he thinks she'd enjoy the most, he grabs a bowl and the milk and serves it up for her. he places it on the table and sits her across from where phantoms sleeping still.
"Stay here, cloudy. I'll be back in a second, alright?" mountain says before picking up phantom and carrying him to his room, he places phantom on his bed with a sigh and tucks him back in before heading back to cumulus.
cumulus is sitting at the table making a mess with her cereal, she's covered in milk, stuffing the cereal into her mouth with her hands instead of a spoon, she looks at mountain and giggles. he just stares for a moment before sighing and rubbing his face. "cmon lus? was that really necessary?" he asks in a light-hearted tone. she smiles at him with a mouth full of cereal.
he lets her finish her messy breakfast, Swiss walks in soon after and chuckles a little. "Hey big guy, want me to run her a bath?" Swiss asks with a grin, mountain just nods.
Swiss takes cumulus' hand and guides her back to her room, she babbles to him while they walk. they enter her bathroom and he starts to run the bath. "Can you undress yourself, or do you need some help storm cloud?" he asks with a soft smile. she undressed herself and he bathes her.
once she's clean again, cumulus heads off to cuddle with cirrus in her room. Swiss heads off to find mountain, he's cleaning up the last of the mess in the kitchen. he walks up behind mountain and wraps his arms around his waist. "You doing alright, big guy?" Swiss questions, mountain leans into his touch a little and nods.
uhhh I give up now, thanks for reading lmao

HYPE!!!
Requesting for Small Mountain and Small Dew coloring and having a good time listening to nice music with CG Cumulus and CG Swiss? Whenever you get the chance! Thank you!!
-🐊
there you go, love, I hope you like it! I kinda forgot about the music part but shhhh...
750 words, no CWs, just two happy boys <3
“Woah! What’s going on here?” Cumulus laughed, taking in the scene before her as she walked into the common room. The scene being Mountain leaning over a table with a crayon clutched tightly in his fist as he drew something, his tongue poking out in concentration; Dewdrop giggling at his own piece of paper holding a few wax crayons at once; and Swiss sitting next to the latter with his toothy grin plastered on his face. There was some soft music playing in the background, but the two small ghouls seemed to be too invested in their arts and crafts to care about it.
Dewdrop clapped excitedly when he saw Cumulus and Mountain waved at her shyly. They both didn’t have many words, if any, when small, but they seemed very happy. Swiss greeted her, though, “Hi, Lulu.”
“Hello, dear,” she chuckled, looking over the table. “Oh, what messy little boys we have here!”
Mountain blushed, coming back to his work, and Dew only giggled some more. The earth ghoul was doing a great job, currently working on a tree. Dewdrop was… well, he was a different story entirely, probably too little to even try to draw something specific. His piece of paper was just rubbed with crayons all over, with no regards to… anything, really, but he was having a great time, and that’s what mattered.
“Messy, yeah,” Swiss admitted, “but look what beautiful things they’re making, aren’t they?”
“Oh, yes, absolutely! My cute little artists.” Cumulus took a seat in a chair next to Mountain and rested her chin on her balled up fist, looking over at his paper in awe. He seemed to be finishing up and indeed, soon he sighed and turned to the ghoulette. “Are you done, fawn?”
He nodded with a big smile, and pushed the drawing in her direction.
“That’s so beautiful, Mounty!” There were a few trees, rocks and clouds, and Mountain seemed to be very proud of himself. Cumulus was too and she said as much, making the ghoul blush once again.
He remembered something suddenly, though, and all but jumped up with a gasp, pointing to a cloud on his drawing. “Lussy,” he slurred.
Cumulus felt her chest go all warm, “Awww, baby! That’s so cute, thank you so much!”
“Can I see too?” Swiss chimed in, leaning over Dewdrop to take a look. “Woah, pebble, you did such a great job!”
All that attention, even if filling Mountain with a nice feeling, was just too close to being too much for him. The ghoul shied away, curling up on himself just a little bit, but the smile never left his lips. Noticing, Cumulus placed a soft hand on his shoulder and soothingly rubbed gentle circles with her thumb.
She was about to say something when Dewdrop deemed his art ready too and decided to announce it by loudly blowing a raspberry and giggling.
“Oh, you little gremlin!” Swiss laughed, ruffling Dew’s hair. The little ghoul tried to growl but what came out was more or a mrrp sound, and it was not even a tiny bit threatening. “Hmmm, and what did you draw?”
Cumulus and Mountain looked over too, all three now staring at the paper, trying so very hard to come up with what it could’ve been. It was taking a moment and Dewdrop was starting to get a bit cranky, not getting any praise.
Soon enough, though, Mountain gasped and turned the paper a bit, apparently confirming his hypothesis.
“What do you think it is, pebble?” Swiss asked and now that Mountain was expected to answer, he got a bit shy.
“It’s okay, fawn, you don’t have to speak,” Cumulus reassured him but the earth ghoul shook his head and looked over at Dew, still waiting for well deserved recognition.
“I fink…” Mountain started, “fink i’ssa gwuitar.”
The resulting cheer and clapping from Dewdrop told them Mountain was right, making him smile too, proud of his guess. Now that Cumulus and Swiss looked at it, it made sense, the blob of colors was, roughly, in the shape of a guitar.
“Such an artist, aren’t you, baby?” Swiss turned to Dew.
“That’s a really beautiful guitar,” Cumulus praised, and the fire ghoul seemed to only get happier and prouder. “Now, do you boys wanna go show Rainy what you made?”
Mountain nodded eagerly, Dew clapped some more, and with as clear of an answer as they could have gotten, Swiss and Cumulus took them to go get some more applause.

Cumulus tries to crochet a blanket but kitty Dew loves it so much he keeps trying to snuggle up in it while shes working on it. she finishes it in secret and gives it to Dew on his summoning day. normally the fire ghoul doesnt like to acknowledge that day because it was a very traumatic event but honestly receiving the blanket was the comfort he needed that day. his eyes widen as he holds the blanket delicately between his fingers. its so soft, made out of plush baby blue and grey yarn. when he lifts it to his face he can smell Cumulus on it; the comforting scent of an oncoming storm, the type that you know you can watch from the window while sitting inside cuddling up with the people you love. She watches him with a smile and almost gets knocked over when he launches himself at her for a hug. she doesnt see the blanket again until the next time Dew regresses and she finds him curled up underneath it, purring away contentedly knowing how loved he is.

are you going to write about more regressed ghouls? i think itd be nice for some of them to have a playdate, namely phantom and rain and maybe even swiss. the rest could be caregivers (or also regressed, up to you)
i am always so excited to write regressed ghouls, haha ! thank you so much for your ask, anon !!! i wrote this in a rush and while regressed please be kind, haha :’)
(almost) 900 words of regressed rain, swiss, and the New Guy (i haven’t decided on a name that i like for him yet, so i’ve mainly referred to him as “the newest ghoul" i hope that’s okay!!)
under the cut or on ao3 :)
~
Rain looked up from where he was sitting on the floor with the band’s newest ghoul playing blocks to see Swiss standing in the doorway, grinning down at both of them, a plushie clutched tightly in his fist.
Rain had walked into the common room wanting to find someone to sit and cuddle with for a while, but he had found the youngest ghoul sitting cross-legged on the floor building a tower of blocks and chatting to himself quietly instead. The water ghoul had toddled over and plonked himself down on the floor next to his friend, asking if he could join. The quintessence ghoul hadn’t said anything, but he’d nodded at Rain, patted the ground next to him, and held out a block for Rain to take, babbling something about needing more builders to finish the tower on time. They’d been playing for about an hour or two, chatting away at each other as they built a tower together—the tower of blocks had been so big that the little ghouls had needed to stand up to put the blocks on top. Luckily for the furniture around them, the tower had fallen over before the two of them had needed to start standing on couches, so they were back to sitting on the floor again, their small tower between them.
When Swiss came to the doorway, Rain was confused. Something felt different about the multi ghoul, but he didn’t know what it was. He tilted his head in Swiss’ direction and trilled in confusion, wanting to know what was different but not having the words to ask. Luckily, Swiss knew what Rain meant.
“No, no! ‘M not big right now, ‘m sorry, Rainy,” he said, his smile going away slightly as he spoke. It looked like he was sad that he couldn’t take care of Rain and the new ghoul like he normally would if he found them being little with no one to look after them, but Rain didn’t want Swiss to be sad. He wanted him to be happy! “I– I wanted to know if– if maybe I could play blocks too?” Swiss looked so scared to ask, and Rain didn't like that.
At the suggestion of a third playmate, the new ghoul trilled happily and clapped his hands together, accidentally knocking over the newest tower of blocks in his excitement. “Ah, noo!” He cried out. “Swissy, help us! Tower again!” He gasped. He didn’t have many words, so he worried that Rain and Swiss wouldn’t be able to understand him, but the other two gasped as well, very excited that the three of them would be able to build a tower together.
Rain nodded quickly and pulled at Swiss’ arm, dragging him down to the bricks. “Yeah, Swissy, you need help us!”
Swiss sat down, his mouth dropped open in surprise that the other ghouls wanted his help so much, and began putting blocks on top of each other to help them build their tower. Each time a new block went on and the tower didn’t fall, they all clapped and cheered excitedly.
As the three of them built, they came up with a story about the tower, which they were all very proud of, and when Cumulus walked into the common room, they all started talking at the same time, wanting to tell her their story. She sat down on the couch and leaned forward, taking a good look at their tower of blocks, praising them for how well-built and sturdy it was. The three ghouls melted under her words and began purring even louder than they had been when they were building together.
“Do– Do you wanna hear th’story ‘bout our tower, Lussy?” Rain asked, sitting at her feet and looking up at her lovingly. “We really, really, really wan’ to tell you!”
Cumulus laughed happily. “Of course you can tell me, little ones! C’mon, come up here and snuggle with me. Get cosy while you tell me the story.”
“We can’t!” Swiss said. “We need to move an’ show you things when we tell you!”
“T’ank ‘ou, though,” the new ghoul added quietly with a yawn. He regressed even smaller than Rain did, so he got tired the fastest out of all of them. Before he knew what was happening, Cumulus was scooping him up in a hug and holding him tight to her body. He made a tiny, quiet noise of surprise when she dragged him into her lap, but once he was settled, he felt so comfy and so warm that he didn’t want to leave. He could tell Cumulus things about the blocks while he was sitting in her lap if he needed to, but the warmth of her body heat was just so nice that his brain was getting a bit soupy.
The chatter of the three ghouls around him made him fall asleep very quickly, still snuggled up on Cumulus’ lap; his hands around her waist and his head buried in her chest, purring softly. He fell asleep so fast that Swiss and Rain didn’t even get up to the bit of the story he was supposed to tell before they looked over and found the quintessence ghoul sleeping peacefully in Cumulus’ comforting hold.
