“What are you mother and grandparents like?” He asked, curious about the other’s family. Family wasn’t something he discussed a lot with his classmates, mostly as his own was chaotic, but Tokoyami often wondered what sort of home environment some of his classmates had. After all, every single one of them had such different personalities, and not to mention how quirks worked... After a moment of letting Kirishima’s words settle in the air, he spoke again. “It is difficult to not become homesick, especially while we are away for so long. I often ponder what my own family is doing sometimes, what has changed in my absence.”

lmaoooo I didn't know about that interview, no wonder I love Katsuki so much, he was designed after my all time fave 😂 I can definitely see the parallels between them tho and their respective stories. Vegeta may have had a rougher start and been a more horrible person, but once he got away from his abuser he immediately started to chill out and actually develop and start to follow his own morals, he didn't have that luxury under Frieza and was literally just

trying to survive for the first 2 arcs he appeared in. Now he's best dad and waaaay more of an actual hero than Goku is lmaooo

Yeah, here’s a link to a twitter thread that someone made about it -- it’s an interview that happened when Naruto was ending (and before Boruto). So Horikoshi and Kishimoto are both present in it.

But yeah.. like the whole thing is incredibly wholesome.

“That sounds great to me! I’m gonna bring this stuff upstairs and get changed and then I’ll meet you back here? Say like, ten minutes, maybe?”

He was a bit relieved at Kirishima’s willingness to go along with his idea. Nodding, he picked up his own book, intending to do the same thing as the redhead- put his things away and change into more appropriate clothing before meeting back in the common area. 

Since he’d been given a generous amount of time, the teen took his sweet time in getting ready, making sure to put his things back right where they belonged before he changed and went back to the meeting point. Before he actually entered, he did a compulsive check of his pockets. Wallet, phone, a couple other things... Yep, he was ready.
