That artwork by @redmarqar made me lose my shit and I realized that if I don’t turn him into a low-poly 3D thingy right here and now I’d DIE on spot. So I sat down and made this in one evening!

Taking a small break from Birdtress posting tonight to avoid losing my mind, so I re-drew this absolutely STUNNING volume cover art from @redmarqar ‘s tf2 rock au! I’ve been wanting to do this for a while but I finally scraped my brain together enough to do it, and I like how it turned out!

It was really refreshing to work on :) I really liked the sort of allusion to possible Teefies in the og image so I decided he would get them in this even more so. The colors played a little weird on his skin but oh well

First. Demoman IS past his 30. "No demoman worth his sulfur EVER HAD AN EYE IN HIS HEAD past THIRTY". She belittles him again, "oh you're past his 30 and still have eye, you're not that good I tell you, be better". If you didn't notice, she always neen doing that, she usually belittling him when we saw her interacting with Demo. He is past his 30.

Second. God, don't talk about Engineer. Okay, yes, he's not the most "sane". But if you don't understand the COMPLEXITY OF THE MEANING of cutting your own hand to put RADIGAN'S invention/machine/creation, don't talk about it. He didn't did it "just because", it's really far away from "just because". It is a sane thing to do? No. But I'm sure he's mostly sane, just like Heavy, on the same level. God complex? Maybe. But it's impressive how you take only one impulsive voice line. And god, the goggles........ You are so wrong. Any model with his eyes are fan-made, non official. Actually, @/redmarqar (I appreciate their post about Engineer's eye color, they are a great artist and person) and many people in the tags told you that was just a fan model and we don't actually know how his eyes look. But as far as I've seen, you reply to every correction and comment but this one. ???? Okay????

Third. Spy,,,,,,,,, "not as professional, it takes him 7 seconds to pee on enemy base building",, I honestly don't see the connection. It's probably the fact the he "dared to do that" but like??? 1) That's a joke from VALVe; 2) What makes him unprofessional here? Peeing not with a knife and backstabbing someone in the process? As I said, that's a joke from VALVe, nothing here makes him unprofessional. Maybe you say "that's not polite, that's not pleasant thing to do" and like yes, the teams suppose to hate each other and he does desecrates their building by peeing on the wall. ,,,, What makes him unprofessional here? And yes, stinky mask is another joke from VALVe on Spy. I don't see anything unprofessional here. But it does proofs he's not that clean. Literally. Could give that jacket to Sniper in the end of #6, hehe.

Fourth. Soldier WAS a racist. Nothing tells he's not anymore. Although, I can say he's now acting a little softer, especially after Zhanna, yes. But nothing here proofs he's not racist anymore. Again, he WAS SURE USA is the greatest of them all, like a patriot and therefore belittling other countries to the fact where he couldn't believe such good colleagues are from another countries. He didn't go well on rest of Heavy's family and we never see them interacting again and I honestly doubt just that particular family can change his mindset. But okay, whatever makes twitter comfortable.

The rest is actually yea, probably it. Although it can be either same glasses, or Sniper just bought one that's alike. And Heavy's deconstruction as a character because of heavymedic ship,,,,,,,, yeah, some shit people do about them is honestly even scary. The way Pauling talks with Pyro is another comical relief for fans who portrait them in that dynamic.

Tf2 details that a lot of people get wrong:

Demoman is most likely under 30, making him either the third or second youngest out of the cast. I GET IT. YOU CAN ALL STOP TELLING ME HE'S "not actually under 30" IM TALKING ABOUT THIS COMIC ISSUE AND THE GRAVEL WARS. NOT THE ACTUAL FULL COMIC SERIES WHERE IT TAKES PLACE 5 YEARS AFTER.

Scout can drive. He even has that taunt where he drives that little scooter.

Snipers glasses were likely given to him by his dad.

Engineer is NOT the most """sane""" of the mercs, that actually goes to Heavy. He has a severe God complex (line: "I am a GOD!") And cut off his arm cuz why not. He also has green eyes, not blue.

Medic is terrible at naming things. I just think this has a lot of potential for jokes.

Pyro is completely aware they're setting stuff on fire, they just like wearing their mask. They also aren't a kid despite how Miss Pauling talks to them.

Spy isn't as professional as people think. He takes 7 seconds to piss on a wall, and Miss Pauling tells him to wash his mask since he never takes it off.

Soldier WAS "racist" (I really don't know how to describe the term here) until he met Zhanna.

Finally, Heavy. I don't even need to explain anything. His entire CHARACTER is always mischaracterized to be Medic's alpha boyfriend. He's arguably the most caring one out of the mercs.
