Ok guys here me out I think I know what's going on in the MotoGP silly season rn
So the Alex Rins to yamaha deal looks very set to go ahead (massive w for yamaha fans) so that leaves a seat at LCR
KTM wanted LCR but Lucio Cecchinello said no because they still have another year contacted to honda and they want to honour it
So KTM are going to offer them Augusto Fernandez (who's pretty good) on loan to LCR so that they have a foot in the door next year and can try again to get LCR to ktms. They'll also probably pay Fernandez extra for this
This then means they have the space for Acosta at GasGas (bc he is the priority over Fernandez for KTM) and they don't have to pay out any contracts

as an australian, the way that jack miller speaks to the press and other riders is so interesting to me. he curates his way of speaking depending on who he's addressing so that they can understand what he's saying. (jack does have a very broad aussie accent to begin with, so i understand why he has to change it when speaking to other people).
when he rode for ducati, jack noticeably softened his australian accent and changed his sentence structure so it was easier for italians to comprehend. in some videos (like the one below) i honestly find it hard to tell the difference between jack and pecco鈥檚 voices without seeing who is speaking.
https://youtu.be/Xhi57y2TyCE?si=aFG7E1Jn1kbdzvO2
and now that he鈥檚 at ktm, he鈥檚 reverted to his natural accent (which sounds wayyy better coming from him imo) because brad is able to understand his speech. even though the australian and south african accents are quite different, jack and brad both speak fluent english so their sentences are structured the same. in the video below brad can easily comprehend what jack鈥檚 saying despite his strong accent.
https://youtu.be/fkHywO-3yn0?si=67DIHAvCUdOx726T
finally, in the video below jack only slighty changes his accent when speaking to the english interviewer, but when he starts talking to maverick, he also alters his pronunciation and sentence structure so it's easier for mav to understand. i don't know how noticeable this difference is for non australians, but for me it's extremely obvious the way that jack changes his manner of speaking depending on who the conversation is with.

Sometimes I feel like F1 community is a bit toxic, then I remember I'm a motogp fan too and think "wow, this is even more toxic, F1 community is heaven compared to this"
I can't understand why people feel the need of sharing hate online every single day, I mean we know F1 is full of these dumb hater kids and sometimes pilots themselves argue loudly with each other, maybe some of them still hate each other but the point is: motogp world still seems worse
What I want to see is 20 guys racing on a track, giving their best, making wonderful surpasses and at the end of the race going back home with their own feet, in the meanwhile I hope for Italian drivers and Italian bikes to win.
But nah, the real pleasure is hoping for a driver to crash and hurt himself, his bike exploded? He is bleeding? He lost his head? Wooo馃コ and you know why? Because Marcrash is an idiot who hates Italian. Because Enea will kill everyone to let Pecco win. Because Pecco is a clown and must going down every race. Because Ducati has too many bikes and should go bankrupt. Because Yamaha and Honda ruined all those Spanish and French drivers so fuck them! Send a curse to them! Because Italian are idiots. Because this pilot can only cry. Because that other pilot can only crash into everyone. This should be illegal. That should be forgiven.
Imma go back to F1...
I mean, there are so many Lando or Charles crybabies around here too....
But personally I see more sportsmanship in F1's community than in motogp ones....
Maybe it's just me.
Disclaimer: I love both Lando and Charles, in reality I love almost every F1 pilots 馃檭 and I like both Pecco and Jorge, I just want to have fun with everyone safe!
