[START] [ABOUT AND WARNINGS] [FAQ]
Steve/ A traditional church wedding to go with Steve’s religion.
“I think I would like something traditional and in a church,” you say. “Did you have a church you went to as a kid?”
“Yes!” Steve says, lighting up. “It’s small and sweet, and near Prospect Park. That would make my ma really happy. Are you sure you’re okay with that?”
“Very sure,” you say smiling. “I wish she could be there, but if that would make her happy, then I am more than happy to do it.”
There is a lot that happens in the eighteen months between Steve proposing and your wedding. You ask Hill to be your maid-of-honor because it’s her that led you to meet Steve in the first place. Having Hill as your maid-of-honor, in turn, led to the strangest of Bridal Showers and the wildest of bachelorette parties. However, she is the most organized person you know and can pull strings to get things done that you would have thought were impossible. She organizes every dress fitting and makes sure you attend every marriage counseling session the church has set up.
The ceremony is going to be held at the Church of Holy Apostles in Brooklyn, a sweet little red building that had been there since 1901, while the reception is being held at the Boathouse in Prospect Park. You’d opt for a three-course seated menu and decorate the room with soft pink roses and white hydrangea. Your cake is three tiers in white with pearls and roses made from sugar paste. The bottom layer is Angel Food Cake, while the middle layer is chocolate, and the top is a fruit cake you’re planning to freeze for a year and share with Steve on your first anniversary.
Maria helps you with the buttons on the back of your dress. It’s a white lace-over satin sheath dress, with a long train and pearl buttons on the back. “We better get a move on,” she says.
“He’ll wait for me,” you say.
“And I feel like you’re the only person in the world that’s true about,” Hill teases. “The guy usually won’t even wait to get his parachute on before he jumps out of a plane. So you shouldn’t keep him waiting.”
You smile and nod. “You’re right,” you say. “Let’s go.”
She hands you your bunch of white roses and the two of you go out to the vintage Rolls Royce that was waiting for you.
The drive out to Brooklyn takes you over the bridge where Steve proposed and just that is enough to bring tears to your eyes.
“Don’t get all weepy on me now, kid,” Maria teases, handing you some Kleenex. “Your mascara will run.”
“What cheap ass mascara do you think I used on my wedding day?” You snark.
She pulls a face of feigned shock. “Do you kiss Cap with that mouth?”
You poke out your tongue and she starts laughing.
The car pulls up to the quaint little chappel and the driver gets out and opens the door. You’re met at the door by a member of the clergy and shown to the door. He hurries inside and Maria looks at you. “You ready?” She asks.
“I have been for a while,” you say, taking a deep breath.
The bridal chorus starts and Hill goes through the door and down the aisle. You wait until she gets to the end and you step out. The guests all sit in pews and they stand when you enter. Steve stands at the end of the aisle with Bucky and Sam beside him. They wear matching black tuxedos with white roses in the buttonholes. Steve smiles as he sees you, and the expression on his face is one of such pure love and awe that it makes your heart hurt a little. By the time he reaches you, tears have pricked his eyes.
You give your bouquet to Hill and take his hands.
“Dearly beloved; we have come together in the presence of God to witness the marriage of these two people, and to ask God’s blessing on them as we share their joy,” the priest begins. As he reads through the preface you stand looking at Steve, the smile on your face is practically glued in place.
The guests stand to sing a hymn and you join in with them as they sing about perfect love.
Tony and Natasha give the readings though Tony also makes a joke about being struck by lightning for being there. There is another hymn and it finally comes time to get to the vows.
“Do you give yourself to this woman to be her husband, to live with her according to God’s word?” The priest asks, looking at Steve. “Will you love her, comfort her, and, forsaking all others, be faithful to her so long as you both shall live?”
“I will,” Steve answers.
“Do you give yourself to this man,” the priest asks looking at you “To be his wife, to live with him according to God’s word? Will you love him, comfort him, honor and protect him, and, forsaking all others, be faithful to him so long as you both shall live?”
“I will,” you reply.
“Families and friends, you are the witnesses to these vows. Will you do everything in your power to uphold theirs in their marriage?” The priest asks.
“We will,” the guests respond.
“In the presence of God, I take you to be my wife,” Steve says. “To have and to hold from this day forward. For better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, so long as we both shall live. All this I vow and promise.”
“In the presence of God, I take you, to be my husband,” you say, your voice cracking a little. “To have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, so long as we both shall live. All this I vow and promise.”
“May we have the rings?” The priest asks. Bucky hands over one while Maria hands over the other. “God of steadfast love, by your blessing, let these rings be a symbol of their love and faithfulness through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.”
“I give you this ring as a symbol of our marriage,” Steve says as he slides the ring onto your finger. “May God enable us to grow in love together.”
“I receive this ring as a symbol of our marriage,” you say as you look into his eyes. You take Steve’s ring and begin to slide it on his finger. “I give you this ring as a symbol of our marriage. May God enable us to grow in love together.”
“Before God and in the presence of all of us, these two people have joined hands and made their solemn vows, promising life-long faithfulness to each other. In the name of God, I declare them to be husband and wife,” the priest announced. “What God has joined together, let no one separate. God the Father lovingly enfold you. God the Son grace your home and table. God, the Holy Spirit, crown you with joy and peace. The Lord bless you and keep you in eternal life.”
Everyone joins him in an ‘Amen.’ And he looks at you and Steve. “You may now kiss the bride.”
Steve grins and pushes the veil off your face. You lean into him and he wraps his arms around you and dips you as he brings his lips to yours. While everyone cheers, the whole world evaporates as you melt into the kiss. The kiss that starts the whole new path in your life.

it’s reader and Finn’s wedding day, and things don’t go exactly as planned ... “i do”
word count: 6.2k+
warnings: fluff, smut, dirty talking, nsfw, angst, jealousy
— final part ... lots of drama. let’s get it —
masterlist || part 1 | part 2 | part 3 | part 4 || request an imagine here
~ 18+ content below - read at your own risk ~
"Y/N," your mother says to you. "Sweetie. Wake up. We have our spa appointments this morning and we have to get our hair and nails done."
You let out a quiet groan and say, "I wanna sleep."
Your mom says, "It's your wedding day, honey. You have to get up."
Your eyes open and see the wedding dress you picked out a few months ago hanging in a bag on the closet door in the bridal suite of the hotel you're staying in.
"It's my wedding day," you say, quickly sitting up.
Laughing, your mother says, "Yes, it's you're wedding day."
It's been just over a year and a half since Finn proposed to you. You would have gotten married sooner. You were supposed to marry at the beginning of the year, but you and Finn welcomed a little bean about six months ago so you both had decided to push off the wedding a few months.
On Valentine's Day, Alania Riley Balor was born. Your daughter. Yours and Finn's daughter. It's been six months and a half months or so since the birth of your daughter and it's now your wedding day. August 25th, 2022.
You roll out of bed, stretching and yawning. Your mom holds out a folded piece of paper and says, "Finn slid this under my room door and it said to give this to you when I saw you today.
After rubbing your eyes and yawning one more time, you take the piece of paper and read it to yourself.
My love, I can't wait to marry you and see you in the dress. I've been looking forward to it since we pushed off the wedding so we could get used to parenthood. I love you. I'll see you later. - Finn
You smile and your mom says, "Alright, let's get going. We're going to be late for our appointment."
You get changed into a white tank top and tight black short shorts. You put flip flops on your feet and you tie your hair up into a messy bun before you leave.
The spa feels nice. You get massages and face masks. Then you and your mom leave to get your hair and nails done for the wedding tonight.
You get your hair curled and half of it is put up. A flower crown is put in your hair. Little white flowers are put in your hair. You get a french manicure. A white tip with a band of silver separated the white tip and light pink polish.
It's about two in the afternoon so you head back to the bridal suite.
The ceremony is taking place by a beach on the hotel property. Palm trees are everywhere, grass under your feet. White rose petals will be the 'aisle' with white chairs on either side of the aisle.
The reception is taking place in the ballroom of the hotel, then you and Finn are going to Ireland. You've wanted to see Finn's home country and it didn't take very long to convince him to honeymoon in Ireland. He's homesick so it really took you about five minutes to get him to say yes.
As your mom does your makeup, your dad FaceTimes your phone. You answer and see that your dad is holding Alania. "Hey," you say. "What's up?"
"Alania is being fussy," your father says. "I think she misses her mom because when I tried to FaceTime Finn, his voice did nothing. I thought maybe if you talked to her then she might react differently to yours."
You think for a second before you say, "Here, let me sing her a lullaby over the phone. Can you put it closer to her?"
After moving the phone closer to your daughter, you sing a little lullaby to her. Her fussiness turns into coos and you smile when you're done.
"Thank you, Y/N," your dad says quietly.
You say, "You're welcome, Dad. Finish getting ready."
He hangs up the phone and your mom finishes up your makeup.
There's a knock on the door of your suite and you go to answer the door, tightening the tie around your waist. You open the door to see Veronica standing in your doorway. She's standing in front of you in a white dress. It's a short white dress with a poofy skirt and tight top with spaghetti strap sleeves. A glittery fabric covers the breast area to the waist.
"Hi, bestie," she says, sarcastically. "Do you like my dress? I wore it especially for you."
You raise your eyebrows and you say, "You look like you're wearing a homecoming dress and you're literally almost forty. Well, you might as well be in high school with the way you're acting."
She glares at you and says, "It's better than that dress you're planning on wearing tonight."
Sighing, you say, "Sure. Whatever you say."
Veronica laughs and says, "Look at the dress. I dare you." You blink at her and walk over to the dress in the bag that hangs by the closet.
You unzip the bag, revealing a stained and cut up wedding dress. Your eyes widen and you say, "Veronica, what the hell? You're really that low to cut up my wedding dress?"
Your mother says, "That's it. Get out." She's talking to Veronica. "Now."
She laughs and says, "Enjoy your day with no dress." She waves at you and smiles before she walks away. Your mother shuts the door.
Panic begins to set in. Your wedding dress was destroyed. You bought it yourself. It was simple and cute but cheap. You were so proud that you could afford it on your own.
It was a beautiful white gown. Form-fitting with a slight flare at the knees. The dress has sheer, off the shoulder sleeves. Plain and simple but cute. Now it's all cut up and stained with who knows what.
You begin to hyperventilate and cry.
There are about two hours before your wedding. You have no idea what you are going to do. You can't walk down the aisle in your robe.
Your mom says, "Hey, Y/N. Relax. We'll run to the dress shop and get you a dress."
"That was my dress," you cry. "I loved that dress. It was the one thing I could afford on my own. Finn paid for everything else so I wanted to pay for my dress. I was so proud of it."
She looks at you and says, "I know. I know you were honey. We can go get you a dress really quick that you'll love. There's a shop right down the street. You do need something to wear tonight down the aisle."
You look at your mother and nod. You know she's right. You do need something to wear tonight. "Okay," you say, sniffing. "Let's go."
***
You have about three hours, maybe less, to find a dress that you love enough to wear down the aisle.
After trying on four dresses at the bridal shop, you start to breakdown in the dressing room. Nothing seems to be going right today. Veronica showed up in a white dress and destroyed your wedding dress. She's playing the jealous girl who would do anything to get the groom.
You're about to give up when your phone starting ringing and you see Finn's contact pop up. He's crying to call you. You clear your throat and answer it. "Hi," you squeak.
"Baby, is everything okay?" Finn asks. You can hear the concern in his voice. "Ver came by my room and said ya were crying."
Anger rises inside you and you say, "She destroyed my dress, Finn. It's all cut up and stained. She was wearing a white dress when she came by my suite. She's ruining the day, Finn. I'm trying to find another dress but I don't know if I can find one in time. There are like two hours until the ceremony starts. My hair is a mess, my makeup is a mess, and my dress is ruined."
Finn says, "It's okay, princess. We can push the ceremony back a little bit until ya find a dress. Nothing has to be ruined, my love."
You pout and look at yourself in the mirror. Your eyes are red and your cheeks are puffy. Hearing Finn's voice has calmed you down enough that you sigh.
"You're right," you say. "I'm sorry to dump all this on you right now."
Finn says on the other line, "I'm supposed to be there for ya, Y/N. Ya don't have to be sorry. I'll leave ya to find your dress. Tell me if I need to push back the ceremony a little bit and I will. I've waited too long to marry ya but I want ya to make sure ya have a dress ya love, princess."
An idea pops into your head when he calls you 'princess'. You say, "You won't have to. I love you. I'll see you in two hours."
"I love ya too," Finn says before you hang up.
You pop your head out of the dressing room. Your mom and the consultant stand outside the small room.
Both of them look at you as you ask, "Do you have any like ball gowns? Like a poofy skirt? Something that makes me look like a princess?"
The consultant says, "I think we have something like that. One second." She disappears.
Your mother asks, "Why something that makes you look like a princess?"
You smile and say, "Finn just called me and he called me a princess. It gave me an idea and it's something I could do to surprise him."
She smiles as the consultant comes back with a dress. You take it and put the dress on.
It's a perfect fit and doesn't need any drastic alterations. The top of the dress is a plain white top with a sweetheart neckline. There are no straps on the dress. There is a sparkly silver belt around your waist and from the waist down is a poofy skirt with layers of tulle. You spin around a bit and look in the mirror. This is the dress. You love it and it makes you look like a princess.
You leave the room in the dress so your mother and consultant can see the dress on you.
When your mother sees you in the dress, she gasps. "You look beautiful, sweetie," she says. The consultant agrees.
"It fits almost perfectly," you say. "I love it."
The consultant says, "It's half off too. Only ninety-five dollars."
You smile and say, "I'll take it."
***
There are thirty minutes until the ceremony begins when you get back to the hotel. Your mother and one of your bridesmaids work together to fix your hair and makeup. It doesn't take too long.
They help you in the dress, zipping you up and fixing the skirt. You put on your heels. Your bridesmaid hands you your bouquet of white and light pink roses as your mother takes off the flower crown and replaces it with a tiara with a veil attached. The veil has a small train.
Ten minutes left. You rush out of the room to the area where the best men and bridesmaids are all lined up.
Finn's best friends, Kevin Owens and AJ Styles, both smile when they see you. Kevin says, "I thought you had another dress."
"I did," you say as you line up behind AJ. "A jealous bitch cut it up and stained it so I went out and bought this."
AJ says, "Well, you look good. Finn's lucky."
Your father walks in holding Alaina and you say, "No, I'm lucky." You smile.
Alania has Finn's beautiful blue eyes but has your Y/H/C colored hair. Her cheeks are a rosey red color and she's in a cute light pink dress, matching the color of your bridesmaids' dresses.
Your father says, "I thought I'd give you the option to hold Nia instead of the bouquet. Actually, Finn told me he'd love to see you walk down the aisle with Nia the other day when we were out drinking. She's fed and burped so she shouldn't be throwing up."
You had never even thought about that. You smile and nod, throwing your bouquet of flowers onto the small couch. Your father hands you your daughter as the music plays for the best men and bridesmaids as they walk down the aisle. You hold your daughter in your left arm as you hook your right arm with your father's.
Alania's head rests on your shoulder as she sleeps peacefully. You start to walk out of the room with your father.
All eyes are on you when you come into view. Finn stands under a white arch decorated with white flowers and branches. A smile lights up his face when he sees you with Alania.
Carefully, you walk down the aisle. Before you know it, you're standing in front of Finn. You hand Alania off to your father when you get to Finn. He sits next to your mother. The crowd sits down.
You meet Finn's eyes as the official says, "Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here to witness the matrimony of Finn Balor and Y/N L/N. If anyone should think that these two should not be wed, speak now or forever hold your peace."
Not surprisingly, Veronica stands up and objects. You and Finn both sigh.
She was never invited to the wedding. She came as a plus one, with Seth Rollins.
"This is ridiculous," she says. "She marries her former teacher and I get fired for saying how inappropriate the whole relationship is."
Something in you finally snaps. You look directly at Veronica as you say, "You got fired because you're literally obsessed with Finn. You've stalked him, literally to the point of scaring our child. We've both taken pity on you because you're so lonely that you've gotten to the point where you have to stalk my fiancée. Guess what, sweetheart. He's getting married. Right now. To me. You lost your chance. Grow up, leave us alone, and find someone else because Finn is mine. Forever. Literally."
The crowd cheers as you go off on Veronica. You wait a second before you say, "Oh, and by the way Veronica, Finn and I had sex on your desk in your classroom when you went to lunch one day. Remember when I told you that a student came in and destroyed it? Yeah, that wasn't a student. That was me and Finn when he destroyed my insides. Sorry to my parents and Finn's parents for having to hear that."
Everyone laughs and Finn smiles. "That's my girl," he says.
You look back up at Finn as Veronica stomps away. A few people cheer and clap when she walks off.
The official says, "Alright." He gives a nervous laugh. "Do we have any vows written that you two would like to say to each other?"
Finn nods and says, "Yeah, I do."
Everyone quiets down and he takes your hands.
"Y/N L/N, my princess," he begins. "Our relationship was far from normal. When we met, I was your teacher and ya were my student. We were never meant to end up together but here we are. We are here in front of friends and family, who accept our relationship, and our daughter, who is the only person I love just as much as I love ya. The day Alania came into our lives, I was so happy. I had never experienced such a level of happiness until she was born. I will love and protect both of ya as long as I shall live."
The crowd 'awes' at the same time. You smile and tear up a bit as Finn recites his vows.
It takes everything in you not to kiss him. Not yet.
"Y/N?" the official asks.
You sigh and say, "Mr. Balor." That gets a little laugh out of Finn. "When we met, I was just a college student in my final semester of school. I entered that semester not knowing that my entire life would change. You were my English professor. You were the 'hot' teacher that everyone had a little crush on. I had a crush on you from day one, I won't lie. When we finally were able to be together, I had no idea that we'd end up here. As soon as we were together, I knew that I would never be able to spend another day without you in my life. I'm excited for our future together. I'm excited to spend it with you and Alania. I'll love you forever, Finn. That's a promise I intend to keep."
The crowd sighs and Finn wipes away a makeup stained tear that managed to roll down your cheek. You let out a little giggle and lean into Finn's touch.
The official smiles and says, "The rings, please."
AJ hands the official the rings. He hands you Finn's ring and hands Finn your ring.
The official says, "Do you, Finn Balor, take thee Y/N L/N to be your lawfully wedded wife, for better or worse, in sickness and in health, til death do you part?"
Finn maintains eye contact with you as he says, "I do."
He slides the silver wedding band onto your left ring finger. You watch as he does.
You smile, looking back up at Finn, and the official asks, "Do you, Y/N L/N, take thee Finn Balor to be your lawfully wedded husband, for better or worse, in sickness and in health, til death do you part?"
"I do," you say, fighting back happy tears as you slide Finn's wedding band onto his finger.
The official smiles and says, "By the power invested in me by the state of Florida, I now declare you man and wife. Finn, you may kiss your bride."
It takes less than one second for Finn's lips to attach to yours after that last statement. You throw your arms around Finn's neck as you share your first kiss as husband and wife.
The crowd cheers as Finn pulls back. He smiles and you say, "I love you, Finn Balor."
"And I love ya, Y/B Balor," he says. You smile and lean up, kissing him again.
After a second, you pull back. Finn's parents and your parents walk up with Alania, who's now wide away. You smile as Finn offers her his finger and she takes it.
You hug your parents and Finn's parents. Finn's mom says, "Welcome to the family, Y/N."
You smile and say, "I'm happy to be here."
Finn's holding Alania now and you take in the sight of your new husband holding your daughter. She's playing with the flower in Finn's suit.
All of you walk back to the ballroom to get the reception started.
***
After dinner, it's all dancing. You dance with your father and Finn dances with his mother as other couples dance around you.
When dessert is served, and after you eat it, it's time for yours and Finn's first dance as a married couple.
"I'd like to invite the newlyweds to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife," the DJ says.
Finn takes your hand and the two of you walk to the dance floor. Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran starts to play.
As you approach the center of the dance floor by yourself, Finn spins you around. You laugh and smile up at him as he takes you into his arms. His arms wrap around your waist and yours wrap around his neck. You close your eyes and rest your head on his chest.
The suit jacket has come off but he's still wearing his tie and his shirt is tucked into his dress pants.
He says, "Ya look beautiful tonight, baby. Absolutely stunning."
Your face turns red and you smile, looking up at him. "You're obligated to say that because we're married," you say, teasing him."
Finn says, "Oh shoot. Ya are right, because ya never looked beautiful when we were dating or engaged." He smiles. You giggle.
His eyes meet yours as the song and the dance continues.
You suddenly ask, "Would you want more kids one day? When Alania is a little older and doesn't always need our attention?"
Finn nods and says, "Of course. Maybe when Alania starts school then we can try for another baby. That'll give us about three or four years."
You smile and continue swaying with Finn to the music.
You're both quiet for a second before Finn says, "I can't wait to spend forever with ya, Y/N. I've been looking for ya for years and now ya are in my arms."
"You're stuck with me, Finn," you giggle. "You get me for every Thanksgiving, every Christmas, every birthday, and every day in between for the rest of our lives."
He smiles and says, "That sounds so good."
You smile up at him before you lean up, kissing Finn. He continues to smile into the kiss as he kisses you back.
Your fingers slide into his hair as he holds you close to him.
After a minute, the song ends and other people come onto the dance floor. A Thousand Years by Christina Perri comes on next.
"Did ya really have to announce to everyone that we had sex on Ver's desk though?" Finn asks, pulling away from the kiss.
You laugh and say, "Those words came out of my mouth before I could stop them. It's my desk now anyway."
Finn laughs and says, "That's true."
***
After the throwing of the bouquet, which one of your bridesmaids catch, you head off to get changed into something more comfortable for your flight over to Ireland.
You keep with the white theme and put on a short white dress with a plunging v-neck that exposes a lot of your cleavage and an open back. The skirt falls just passed your butt and is very flowy. You wear tan wedge sandals and tie your hair up in a ponytail.
You meet Finn in the lobby of the hotel. Everyone is outside waiting to throw their rice and say goodbye.
Finn's eyes land on you and says, "That dress is gonna look so good when it hits the floor tonight."
Laughing, you say, "It's tomorrow in Ireland."
"Oh, shush," he says, smiling. "Let's go so we can say goodbye to everyone before our flight. Our passports and bags are in the car."
You nod, lacing your fingers with Finn's.
As soon as you walk through the doors, rice is thrown. You and Finn are both laughing as the crowd cheers and claps.
At the end of the crowd are both yours and Finn's parents, and Alania. You take your daughter and your mom says, "She'll be in good hands with us. You go have have lots of fun."
"She'll have lots of fun," Finn says. "I promise." He gently taps your butt and you gasp.
Your parents laugh and you look at Alania.
She coos, "Momma." You smile and fix her dress.
"Momma and dadda will be back soon, Nia," you say softly to her. "Grandmom and grandpop will take care of you."
Part of you has always hoped that Alania will have a broken Irish accent. You still have some hope that she'll have a broken Irish accent because Finn has an Irish accent. Finn's parents will be taking care of her with your parents while you and Finn are honeymooning in Ireland for the next two weeks so she'll still be exposed to the accent. You've even found yourself with a bit of an accent sometimes.
Finn says, "Y/N, we have a flight to catch." He kisses the top of Nia's head and you look up at him, nodding.
Your mom takes Alania back and you say goodbye to your parents before saying goodbye to Finn's.
He helps you into the passenger's seat of the car. You wave out the window at everyone as Finn gets into the car. He waves for a second before driving off.
Things settle down for you as Finn drives to the airport.
"Ya will love Ireland," Finn says. "They have such beautiful weather this time of year. I'm excited to show ya around the country. It's not a very big country and we're staying in the middle of it."
You smile and say, "You better take me to your hometown."
He pulls up to the airport and says, "My parents still live there and I have full permission to stay the night one night in my old room while we're in Ireland."
"Yay," you say, smiling as Finn parks the car.

You left Orlando International at eleven at night, making at stop at JFK airport in New York before flying to Dublin. It's about four in the morning when you land in Ireland, and you've been on flights for close to 12 hours. Timezones are weird.
Finn drives from Dublin airport to the Wineport Lodge, which takes about ninety minutes. So it's about six in the morning when you get to the hotel. You're extremely jet lagged and tired.
You and Finn check into the honeymoon suite before making you're way up to the second floor.
The suite is a large room with a large bed facing the wall of windows and a balcony. There's a desk attached to the wall and a cushioned chair against the little wall separating the doors leaving to the balcony and a set of windows. There's a little table and two chairs on the other side of the bed.
The room is in the shape of a large triangle and the walls are a tan color. The rest of the room fits the tan aesthetic of the walls.
The bathroom has a stand up shower with a glass door, a large bathtub, a counter with two sinks, and a toilet.
As soon as you reach the bed, you collapse onto it. Finn laughs. "Ya seem tired," he says.
"I am," you sigh. "Timezones suck and I'm exhausted."
He smiles and says, "Get some sleep, princess. Ya will need it. I'll wake ya in a few hours after I unpack."
You say, "I'll unpack my things first." You take your suitcase and begin to fold clothes and hang them up in the small closet. Finn does the same.
It's seven in the morning when you're finally able to sleep. Finn falls asleep soon after you do.
It seems like you only slept for two minutes when Finn wakes you. It's about four in the afternoon now. He wakes you up with kisses so you're not too mad.
"Wake up, baby," he mumbles against your cheek. "It's dinnertime. I ordered us some room service and it should be here soon. I figured ya would want to stay in tonight."
Your eyes flutter open and you smile when you see Finn. "Staying in sounds nice," you mumble, still half asleep. You yawn and sit up in bed.
Finn smiles and says, "I hope ya slept well. Ya seemed to sleep well."
Yawning, you say, "Like a baby. I haven't slept like that since before Alania."
He laughs and says, "I'm glad ya slept well."
A few moments later, someone knocks on the door. Finn answers it in his loose black and white sport shorts and a white t-shirt. A cart with food is wheeled into the room and the door closes.
"So we have some Irish stew with Irish potatoes and cabbage," Finn says. "This is colcannon and this is soda bread. I promise it tastes better than most of it looks."
You smile as Finn puts some food in a plate for you. You've made your way to the table while he explained the meal. You eat a bit of it and hum. "This is really good," you say. "Especially the potatoes but I'm not surprised there."
Finn laughs and eats at the table with you. "I'm glad ya like it," he says, eating some of the Irish stew. "I've missed Irish style dishes, especially from Ireland. It's some of the best food I've ever eaten."
You nod in agreement. "It's definitely some of the best food I've had," you says finishing up what's on the plate.
Finn smiles and finishes up what's on his plate.
By this time, it's about five. The sun has begun to set and you look out at the view over the lake of the setting sun.
Your new husband walks up behind you and wraps his arms around your shoulders.
The two of you stand at the window and watch the sun set. "Ireland is beautiful," you sigh. "And I've only seen a little bit of it."
Finn kisses your jaw and says, "You're more beautiful than Ireland."
You giggle and look back at Finn. He's looking down at you. "And you're so cliche," you say.
"But ya love me," he says, a smile on his lips.
You peck his lips and say, "I do love you. I wouldn't be here if I didn't."
Finn laughs and says, "That's very true."
He leans in and kisses you softly. You kiss him back, turning in his arms. You grab a fistful of his shirt and pull him closer to you.
You pull back after a second and say, "I have a surprise for you. You have to give me a second to get it ready though. And you have to close your eyes."
Finn smiles and says, "I like surprises."
"You'll definitely like this one," you giggle, slipping away. His back is turned to you so you grab the lingerie and walk into the bathroom.
After stripping out of your dress, you put on the red two piece lingerie. The top is completely see through except for the cups, which push your breasts up. The top ends right past your butt and you wear a pair of red lace panties underneath.
Sighing, you leave the bathroom and walk back into the main room. Finn's still looking out the window so you clear your throats to get his attention.
Your new husband turns around and his eyes widen when he sees you. "Damn, baby," he says.
Slowly and almost seductively, you walk over to him. You run your fingers up his chest and ask, "Like what you see?"
Finn nods and says, "One hundred percent."
"I thought I'd surprise you a little bit," you say. "Give you the wedding night you deserve even though it's not technically our wedding night because timezones are weird."
He licks his bottom lip and he says, "It can be whatever night ya want it to be, baby."
You look up at Finn and say, "Then let's make it a good night.”
Finn's lips crash to yours. The kiss is intense and passionate from the start. Your tongues are already in each other's mouths as you both stumble toward the bed. You pull off Finn's t-shirt and throw it to the floor. He takes off your top and it joins his shirt on the ground.
You're pushed back onto the bed and Finn crawls onto you, hovering over you. He lays between your legs and starts to kiss your neck, leaving a mark or two.
Soft sighs leave your lips as he marks up your neck. Your fingers are in his hair, running through his hair occasionally.
His lips trail down to your breasts, where he pays extra attention to them. More than he has before. He kisses them and sucks on the nipple. A moan escapes your lips, letting Finn know you like what he's doing.
You feel Finn spread your legs out a bit as he kisses down your stomach.
After you gave birth to Alania, you told Finn how self-conscious you felt because of the added baby weight. It's kept you from having sex a few times, but tonight, you almost embrace it.
Finn's told you how much he loves you and your body, no matter how it looked. He said that the baby weight made you look hotter. Those words ring in your head as Finn kisses down your stomach to the waistband of your panties.
It's been a while since you and Finn have been intimate. You both have been taking care of a newborn who likes to cry a lot at night and needs attention during the day.
Finn runs a finger over your clothed core, making you gasp and sigh. You bite your lip as you feel Finn push aside the fabric and start to rub your clit. Soft sighs escape your lips as his fingers are replaced with his tongue. Your eyes flutter closed and your sense of touch takes over.
He sucks on your clit and occasionally swirls his tongue around the sensitive bud.
After a moment of this, Finn literally rips off the panties. Your eyes open and you look down at your husband. "Finn!" you gasp. "Those were expensive!"
"Don't worry, princess," he coos. "I'll buy ya new ones." Then he pushes two fingers inside of you, making you moan softly.
You grasp onto the bedsheets as Finn moves his fingers. Soft moans continue escaping your lips and you bite on your bottom lip. Finn's mouth is back on your clit as he adds a third finger. A knot forms in your stomach and you feel your walls begin to clench around Finn's fingers.
"Finn," you whine. "Baby, I'm about to come."
He smirks before he says, "Come, princess. It won't be the last time I make ya come tonight."
His words are enough to push you over the edge. You release all over his digits. Finn continues moving his fingers, helping you ride out your high. You lay on your back, gasping for air as you come down off your climax.
Finn licks your comes and juices off his fingers before he stands up at the foot of the bed. You watch as he pulls off his shorts and boxers. His hard member slaps his stomach before he crawls back onto you. You cup Finn's face in your hands and kiss him softly. He kisses you back just as soft.
You slide your fingers into his hair and you smile into the kiss. "I love you," you mumble against his lips. "You always know how to make me feel good."
He smiles into the kiss and says, "It's my job as your husband to make ya feel good, baby." He leans down and starts to kiss your neck again. You sigh softly.
"Finn," you sigh. "I need you. Please." You're almost whining.
Your husband smiles against your neck as he begins to run his tip through your soaked folds. You moan softly, leaning your head back against the bed.
Finn slides his erect member into you slowly. You moan a little louder, your mouth forming a little 'o'. He thrusts slowly and shallowly into you.
He buries his face into your neck and you're moaning in his ear. "Faster, Finn," you gasp. "Please."
"As ya wish, princess," he gasps as he begins to move faster and deeper into you. Your moans get louder and you drag your nails down his back, definitely leaving scratch marks.
Finn groans in your ear as he moves even deeper and harder into you. You gasp as his tip grazes your g-spot. "Finn!" you cry out, digging your nails into his back.
Your husband says, "Baby, keep scratching up my back and people will start to get concerned if they see it."
You stop scratching up his back and grip his upper arms instead as he moves harder. You wrap your legs around Finn's waist as he moves, almost digging your heels into his lower back.
Finn kisses you passionately as you both are pulled closer to your orgasms.
Neither of you says anything as the room is filled with your moans and the sound of skin slapping together.
He reaches his climax first, releasing inside of you. You soon follow him, releasing around Finn. You lay on your back and Finn collapses on top of you.
Your mind begins to race, thinking about how you got to this moment.
When you told Finn how you felt on graduation day, you never thought that you would end up here. You never thought that you were going to end up married to Finn with a baby, all within two years. It's been a crazy two years.
Imagine what wouldn't have happened if you never told Finn how you felt before you graduated.
"Finn," you say, looking at your husband.
He looks up at you and says, "Hm?"
You smile and run your fingers through his hair, saying, "I am so in love with you."
Finn smiles up at you, saying, "I am so in love with you too."
The two of you share a kiss and the kiss turns into a night of sex and little makeout sessions. The night of sex and little makeout sessions turns into a lifetime of loving each other and making each other happy.

How To Plan A Summer Wedding
The Skinny on Summer Weather
Slap on that sunblock, because in nearly all parts of the country you can usually count on temps in the 70s (or higher!)—especially in the dog days of summer, like late July and August.
While sweet summertime means blue skies and balmy breezes most of the time, there are still some weather concerns to be aware of. For example, many east coast areas can experience torrential rain in the form of thunderstorms—soooo not ideal for an outdoor wedding! Then there's the south and southwest, where the thermometer can get up to 100 degrees fahrenheit or higher. An outdoor ceremony in this heat gives new meaning to the phrase, sweating for the wedding.
And, while less likely, there's the potential for natural disasters that can occur in the summer months. On the west coast, drought conditions frequently cause large-scale wildfires that bring hazy skies, poor air quality, and even evacuations. The opposite side of the country comes with the nasty Atlantic hurricane season, which begins June 1 and peaks in late August.
So…to play it safe, know what weather is forecasted for your wedding day, make sure to give your out-of-town guests whatever wardrobe tips they need to be prepared, and always—we repeat, ALWAYS—have a bad-weather backup plan. Just. in. case.
Summer Holidays
Besides fabulous weather, summer seems to be the least limiting in terms of holidays and other potential hiccups. While you won't have to compete with many major holidays, the months of June through July are some of the most popular times to get married AND go on vacation. You'll want to keep your guests' wallets in mind by giving them plenty of time to book flights and plan travel. Trust us, they'll thank you.
Here are a few dates to keep in mind:
Memorial Day – Always a Monday in May (Technically this is a spring holiday, but widely considered the unofficial start of summer)
Father's Day – Always a Sunday in June
Independence Day – Always July 4th, but days off can vary
Labor Day – Always a Monday in September
Hint: Save-the-dates for destination weddings typically get sent out 8–12 months in advance, while save-the-dates for local weddings can be sent out closer to 4 months in advance.
Summer Wedding Pros & Cons
There are so many advantages to getting married in the summer:
Typically gorgeous weather. Break out those sunnies!
There are fewer holidays to work around. Plus, it's widely considered PC to have an Independence Day or Labor Day weekend wedding.
The "Yes" RSVPs are more likely to roll in. Guests are often more willing and excited to take time off work and travel to a summer wedding!
Your outdoor venue and location choices are wide-open. Think barns, mountaintops and, of course, toes-in-the-sand beach weddings. The choices are endless!
However, there are a fair number of disadvantages to be aware of:
Summer is the most popular season to tie the knot. Venues and vendors often up their prices during this time, especially on weekends. Keep an eye out for peak-season rates when planning your wedding budget.
Destination wedding and honeymoon prices are also hitting their peak as most Americans book their vacation during the summer months.
Your favorite venues and vendors could be booked up months to years in advance for popular summer wedding dates.
Summer Color Palette
Unlike other times of the year and their seasonal hues, the sunshine-filled days of summer complement nearly any wedding color palette. While you'll typically see bright colors at summer weddings, there's no need to shy away from deep blues, rich grays, or even black. Don't be afraid to think outside the box when it comes to putting together your own colors!
Bridesmaids and Groomsmen
When it comes to dressing your bridal party, comfort needs to be at the top of the list. If you're tying the knot in the Deep South in late July, chances are your 'maids and groomsmen won't appreciate being buried under layers of fabric and accessories. Consider shorter dresses or lighter fabrics, like organza or charmeuse.
For groomsmen, you'll want to be extra certain you won't be causing sweat overload before the ceremony has even started! Stick with lighter suit jackets and vests—or ditch the jackets altogether. Look into a variety of different hot-weather-friendly looks like khaki, rolled sleeves, suspenders, or even shorts and flip-flops!
Working With What's In Season
When you buy what's in season, you get food and flowers at the peak of their supply when costs are normally lower. Plus, when they're locally grown they don't need to be shipped halfway around the globe. So not only do you save money, but you also reduce your carbon footprint. Win-win.
—Summer Wedding Food—
Much like spring, summer is peak harvesting season for fruits and vegetables. Summer's sunshine means there's no excuse to serve food that doesn't include a little color! As for veggies, the sky's the limit as to what's in season: green beans, cucumbers, eggplant, peas, and corn—just to name a few.
While fruit harvests are bountiful during this time of year, the weather can affect when they're ripest. Be on the lookout for melons, peaches, plums, raspberries, and blackberries because all of these are at their juiciest in the summer months. Fortunately, the abundance of produce in the summer can lead to lower prices, which is especially great if you're planning a farm-to-table wedding!
—Summer Wedding Flowers—
No matter where you are in the country, it seems that beautiful blooms are popping up all over the place. There are literally hundreds of options, but here are a few of our favorite summertime flowers:
Sunflowers. This classic is the poster child of summer, but we love how they add a pop of bright yellow to any bouquet.
Hydrangeas. These fluffy blossoms are summer staples that come in a wide variety of pretty colors.
Calla Lilies make a statement when bundled in a bouquet, and add a classy accent to any summer arrangement.
Amaranthus. From deep reds to fresh greens, this rope-like accent flower is perfect for boho or beach weddings, or even a more elegant affair!
Cacti. Use succulents like aloe and you can't go wrong.
Eucalyptus is a floral trend we're seeing year-round, and we're not complaining!
Pro Tip: Since some flowers are more prone to wilting in the summer heat than others, be sure to double-check with your florist before committing to any one flower or greenery.
Summer Catering Trends
With a cornucopia of fresh fruits and veggies to choose from, you may have already started your search for the perfect hand-lettered sign to direct your guests to the salad bar. Not so fast! There are oh-so-many ways to pay homage to the tastes of the season, not all of which involve plants. If your personal faves include poultry, beef, and seafood, they can easily be incorporated into lighter versions of classics. Or, consider fun, non-traditional alternatives like tapas (Spanish small plates), a festive taco bar, or even good old-fashioned barbecue!
Your reception wouldn't be complete without a summer-inspired dessert! How about wine-flavored sorbet, yummy ice cream, or other frozen treats like snow cones, granita, or gelato to cool your guests down on those warm summer days! Or, what about a classic summer staple like cobbler or pie? There are so many options to choose from, so go wild!
Summer Wedding Cake Trends
Play with light and refreshing flavors like lemon, raspberry, and coconut instead of rich, fudgy chocolate—unless that's your thing, of course! If you're not into the "naked" cake trend, ice your cake with summery frostings that showcase coconut, cherry, or Tahitian vanilla. Dress it up with sprigs of lavender or rosemary, some gold leaf, or a pretty ombré pattern. The latest trend we're partial to? Colorful brush strokes paired with bright blooms. You could even ask if your baker is willing to collab with your florist to match your cake to your bouquet! Your wedding cake—assuming you even have one—should be as unique as you are!
Summer-Inspired Wedding Favors
Your guests will no doubt appreciate customized hand fans to keep cool or neon-colored sunnies to block summer's harsh rays. Or, hit up Old Navy's $1 Flip-Flop Sale to stock up on cheap sandals for tired feet to change into. You can also pick up miniature bottles of rosé, tiny potted succulents, homemade jam, and even travel-sized bottles of sunscreen with a custom sticker slapped on. And if you're really on a budget, how about some fresh seasonal fruit for your guests to enjoy?
Summer Signature Cocktails
If you're serving cocktails on your big day, there's no better time to get creative than during the summer! Sparkling wines, champagne spritzers, and fruity cocktails are just the tip of the iceberg. Hit up your bartender (or just the drink-maker at your fave hangout spot!) for custom cocktails inspired by you and your fiancé. Refreshing berry mojitos, vodka-infused Arnold Palmers, boozy sangria, and mango bellinis—oh, yes! Just be sure to have water available for your guests at all times to keep them hydrated. Drink up!

gmind cause fuck you tenny
he rests his head on their shoulder, listening to their heartbeat and slow breathing. he runs his hand through their hair, running fingertips along their scalp slowly and they let out a content sigh, their breath tickling his neck, goosebumps running down his arms he almost shivers. he shifts a little, moving closer to them and his eye once staring at the goosebumps forming on their skin now flutter close. their arms, heavy, rest on his back, rubbing small circles there. now its his turn to let out a content sigh, into their shoulder blade, he sighs deeply, feeling it deep to his bones.

he wakes up in a shifted position, head resting in the crook of gman’s neck, their breath slow. now he’s at an angle, their arm wrapped around his back, holding him close to his chest. he wiggles a little, snuggling closer into the $2,000 suit, nuzzling his face into the pristine fabric with a sigh. he grabs a fistful of fabric, not caring that he’s crinkling up their expensive suit and pulls himself closer into the navy blue rough surface. no longer being in the hev suit, in a simple blue tracksuit, he’s able to rest more comfortably into the older man, smelling cheap cologne on them. he drifts off again, eye no longer as sore and the week long tension from the res cas lifted from his shoulders.

he’s lifted up into their arms, face deep red contrasting the white gown currently adorning his self, a bouquet of various flowering in his arms. his eyepatch, usually black, now lacy and white. the gown long and just as lacy if not lacier, normally would drag on the ground but now is well off the ground, the taller one holding him bridal style. freemind chuckles hoarsely into their neck, shoulders shaking and eye tearing up. they smirk, pressing their forehead into his, they laugh together, although their laugh is more like a silent chuckle. for once, he’s the one who leans in, kissing them on the lips.

Burning Bridges, Building Confidence Prologue
When Marinette's life starts going downhill from the machinations of a liar, she's never felt more alone.
However, a familiar face reappears in Marinette's life after nine years, an event which shakes the situation up, both in and out of her mask. With a new player on the field, friends become enemies and some enemies become friends.
With her new friends at her back, Marinette begins to learn that to move on, some bridges just have to burn. And the match is being lit.
Updates Bi-weekly. Special thanks to @bigcheeseyboi for being my beta reader on this, especially with how long some of these chapters are.
AO3 Link
Marinette felt something off about the air as she wandered down the halls of her school. It felt like an eternity for her to get to the end of the hallway. At the end was the only light coming out of any of the classrooms, accompanied by voices. Her feet seemed to move of her own accord, using an energy her mind and body seemed to lack.
“Thank you so much everyone!” A voice said. Where was the voice from? It made her gut twist and her hairs stand on end. She got to the room and pushed the door open.
The room wasn’t a classroom, it looked like a fairytale wedding venue. Marinette felt a spark run up her spine and saw her clothes had become some mixture between a traditional Chinese wedding dress and a gorgeous trumpet gown, white accented with red; pink and black appearing in the details on the skirt. Her hair felt longer, pulled halfway up in a bun with apple blossom decorations. Thankfully she still felt the energy of her miraculous in her ears.
She stepped into the room, wary of touching anything as she picked up her skirt just enough that she could walk gently. Joy washed over her body, this was her day, the day she’d marry the love of her life. This was her happy ending, the stress of Hawkmoth was behind her and she was marrying someone that loved her completely. She noticed her name on a stray invitation, but she couldn’t read the other name, her eyes couldn’t seem to focus on it. Returning the invitation to the table, she wandered around the area.
Beautiful apple blossom decor mixed with gorgeous white, gold, and black decor. Sometimes she’d see a burst of red in the form of roses or blue in the form of tulips. They both stood out and blended with the deep applewood walls and the cream colored walls. As Marinette studied the cake, one of her parents’ handiwork no doubt, and the custom figures on the top were likely hers, the voice came again.
“This is my happiest day, I’m so glad you could join me on my wedding day!” The voice wasn’t hers. Marinette moved as quick as she could to the large doors that the voice came from, noting the beautifully done makeup on her reflection as she passed. She turned back and noticed the door had vanished. Picking up her dress she wandered inside, hearing a cheering crowd.
She spotted several familiar faces in the crowd, but there were some she couldn't find. Where were her parents? Her Nonna? Uncle Jagged and Aunt Penny? Where was Chloe? The crowd shifted and she could see the couple in the center. Adrien looking wholly uncomfortable and not acting like the groom his ill fitted suit. Next to him, clad in an atrocity that no one with eye would ever consider a dress, let alone one for a wedding, was….
Lila.
The Italian looked like she'd just sauntered in off the streets in a wedding dress made of dime store materials and hatred, gaudy makeup like an 80s Barbie, that hideous mop of sausage hair completely unchanged, and was that orange lipstick!?
Marinette wanted to vomit.
“To the bride!” They cheered. “To the groom!”
“What?” Marinette breathed, bluebell eyes wide. This couldn’t be happening. This was her wedding day, Lila shouldn’t have gotten anywhere near the venue, she wasn’t even invited, and Adrien looked too poorly dressed to be the groom. Where was her other half? She spun around, skirt flaring as she tried to find someone, anyone , who could give her answers.
“Marinette quit looking for attention and come cheer on the newlyweds!” Alya yelled, glaring at someone just over her shoulder, in the glaringly opposite direction of Marinette herself.
“Alya what are you doing!?” Marinette yelled, not noticing how distorted her voice sounded. “I’m right here! My name’s on all the invitations! Can’t you see it isn’t their wedding!? Lila’s lying again!”
“Marinette don’t be selfish!” Kim called, again not in the direction of the actual bride. “Just be happy for them!”
Marinette ran around the group, trying to get their attention. Each time she called out, they spat some insult or admonishment about how she should be celebrating the false bride at the true bride’s wedding. Finally she yelled,
“You’re not even looking at me!” She heard a sob, two sobs, a whole symphony of sobs. The true bride spun on her heels and ran toward the noise. Suddenly it all became clear.
Her mother, dressed in a gown similar to those of the rest of the bridal party, a soft pink with an apple blossom ornament in her hair, sobbed on the ground. Her father embraced his wife, drowning her in his large form, large tears rolling down his face. Nonna was crying, comforted by her grandfather, while Uncle Jagged and Aunt Penny were crying too.
“Mama? Papa?” Marinette approached warily. “Nonna? Uncle Jagged? What’s wrong? What’s going on?” Her shoes clacked on the flooring as she approached, only to screech to a halt as she saw what they were crowded around.
It was her. Face ashen and dress covered in blood splatter. Her nails were bloody and broken, while her eyes looked sunken. Right over her heart was what had to be the result of several stab wounds, spreading the blood off her still form and across the floor.
“Can you believe Marinette?” A voice called over her shoulder. “Faking a stab wound for attention, bet she got her entire family in on it.”
“What the hell is wrong with you people!?” Marinette yelled. “I’ve been stabbed! I’m dead! Oh my god I’m dead at my own wedding!”
She ran to the crowd, anger boiling under her skin. She shoved past Nathaniel and Alix, bursting into the center around the false couple. “What are you people doing!? There’s a dead body over there and they’re clearly NOT the people getting married today! That liar is wearing cheap dress that looks like it came from a halloween store and she,” Marinette spun on her heel only to stop. “She killed me.”
Lila, seemingly the only one able to see the true Marinette standing in front of her, stood proud, her cheap dress covered in blood splatter, a still gorey knife in the place of a bouquet. An evil grin was stretched across her face, “I’m so happy that everyone I love could join me on my wedding day.” She said, as if it were the truth. A blood red string wound it’s way around from her fingertips to the joints of those around her. The guests were no longer people, they were puppets, strings held by a liar.
“I told you you’d lose everything,” Lila sneered, glaring at the bride. “Your life will be in shambles, because no one will love you, no one will be at your side.”
Before Marinette could react, the faux bride slammed the knife into the bride’s chest.
~~~~~~~~
Marinette awoke with a yell, bolting upright. Her eyes jolted around the room, scared she’d find a lying Italian with a knife in her room. Tikki was at her side in a moment.
“Marinette breathe,” She urged. “It was just a dream.”
“It was horrible Tikki,” Marinette said, shaking like a leaf. “I-I was at the school, then it was my w-wedding. But Lila was there, acting like it was her wedding. Everyone was telling me I was causing a scene, but I wasn’t even there! They were talking to my dead body in a corner, Lila had killed me, her dress was bloody and everything, but they thought I was faking. T-then, she stabbed me and I woke up.”
Tikki frowned, wiping tears from her chosen’s eyes, tilting the girl’s head up with a paw. “Marinette, I promise you, nothing like that will ever happen, not on my watch. As long as I’m kicking, she will never be able to come after you like that, no one will.”
“Thank you Tikki,” Marinette sniffled. She wiped her eyes again and looked over at the clock, it was a little past three thirty, and she needed as much sleep as she could get. “I’ll try to go back to sleep, good night Tikki.”
“Good night Marinette,” the red kwami kissed her chosen’s forehead, leaving a bit of magic glowing on the spot. “Have some good dreams this time.”
As Marinette drifted off to happy memories and the feeling of flying over the Parisian night sky, Tikki settled down next to her, angrier and more determined than ever that things needed to change.
~~~~~~
Elsewhere in Paris a car pulled up to a more upscale multi-floor abode. The doors opened and a teenager stepped out. Nodding their thanks to the driver, they got their bags out of the trunk of the car, allowing the driver to leave. The teen checked their phone’s address book.
“This is the place,” they said in English. They lifted their bags over their shoulders and moved up the steps. When they got to the door they knocked boldly. The light flickered on in the living room and the door clicked before opening.
Standing before them was a woman with the same brown hair and green eyes. Wrapped in a bathrobe and wearing slippers, tears sprung into the woman’s eyes.
“Hi Mom.” The two collapsed into a hug, neither afraid of the tears running down their cheeks attracting any akuma. They were tears of joy after all.

The Wedding: Part 8: The Event
There he stood. Petrified. It wasn’t like this was not warranted. Marriage itself is a very stressful thing. All the time, effort, funds, everything is on the line for this one day. If one piece is off, it all comes crashing down. Everything has been building up to this. Will she say “I don’t”? Will she run out? Will HE run out? He can never tell.
“You aight, hombre?” He heard a voice call out, a familiar voice from a fennec fox. Fenneko, standing as a minister. The fact Haida had to bear witness to such a thing is nightmare inducing. “Um, yeah. Just...kinda nervous, I guess.” “Ah, I don’t blame ya. It’s a nerve-wracking day.” She replied. “But I wouldn’t worry about it, dude. You’ve known her long enough to know she would never stand you up.” He looked around, in contemplation, before responding. “...yeah, I guess you’re right.” Suddenly, everyone looked towards the end of the aisle, and stood up. “Here she comes, look alive.” The small minister told the hyena, as their sights turned towards...her. Retsuko. She began slowly making her way down, in a dress that helps make her shine even more than her natural beauty already emitted. Her head is tilted down, but even still, he could see a smile coming from her, with such a warmth to it. With his ears, he could hear the organs playing Here Comes the Bride. But in his mind, he was hearing all sorts of music playing at just the mere sight of her. Kiss From a Rose, Can’t Help Falling in Love, I’ll Make Love to You, Your Smiling Face, 214, I Don’t Mind, all the sappiest love songs he could think of, just playing all at once. He was in a state of shock, and euphoria. He was in love.
Haida took her hand, as she stood in front of him, with a wonderful combination of glowing eyes, and a bright smile. “Hi, sweetheart.” Said Retsuko, in the sweetest, most loving voice he ever heard. “Hi, Retsy...you look wonderful.” His words were only responded to by a bashful laugh, and a blush on her precious face. “Oh, stop, you look way better than me!” She exclaimed, causing Haida’s face to turn similarly red. “AHEM! Shall we get started?” Said Fenneko, casually looking at the engaged couple. Retsuko could only look in shock, at her dear friend as the one to wed them...but they both nodded.
And then, the fennec spoke.
“Dearly beloved! We are gathered here on this most joyous of occasions, to celebrate the union of Retsuko….um...yes, and Haida…...ya know, I never bothered to actually ask what the hell your last names were. Bah, who cares. Ya know, for all these years knowing these two, I knew, deep down, two very important things. One, they wouldn’t be anything without me.” That got a massive amount of laughter from the audience. “I mean, I ain’t joking, but alright. But two...that no matter what obstacles stood in their way, other people, life events, themselves...they were tailored made for each other. I ain’t a strong believer in destiny, to me, it’s just a cheap way to justify even the most mundane things in life. But if someone told me it was destined that they would be together as they have been...not gonna lie, I’d buy it. There is something deep within them that, I think, pulls them through. Maybe it’s their own hearts...maybe it’s their kid, I dunno. But somehow, someway, they managed to persevere throughout many of the hard times. Of course, those are not over yet. They probably still have quite a bit to go through. But hopefully, with a love like theirs, we probably won’t have to worry in the slightest about that. As long as that love stays strong, things will turn out just fine. But hell, you guys are probably getting sick and tired by me rambling on about them, let’s hear what they have to say! You two like to get your vows out of the way?”
Retsuko cleared her throat a little. “I-I’ll start, if that’s okay with you,” she said to her groom. “Of course! Go right on ahead.” The reassuring tone from Haida comforted her considerably, as she began her vow. “Haida, I remember it was just a couple of years ago, I didn’t really know you too much, and I wanted to get married, and have kids, so I didn’t have to work another day in my life...well, two out of three ain’t bad.” She joked, resulting in more laughter from everyone. “Jump ahead a few years, and now I am still working at my job, yes, but I am also a mother to an absolutely wonderful baby boy, and will very soon become the wife of the most amazing man I’ve ever met in my life. Ever since I’ve really gotten to know you, it feels like every day has something new about it, it’s like a brand new adventure every single time. The fact that you and Ikari are always by my side during it all really does mean a lot to me. I say this with no stretch whatsoever, you really changed my life in all the best of ways, Haida, and I cannot thank you enough for that. I vow to be a loving, and faithful wife, to be by your side whenever you need me, and to help make sure our son has a bright future ahead. I love you so much, I can’t wait to become your wife, and...sorry it took so long for us to even start a relationship in the first place.” The vow ended with her laughing very bashfully.
“...my turn?,” asked Haida, which solicited a “yes, dum-dum” from Fenneko. “Oh! Alright...well, firstly, don’t feel too bad, took me forever to get you a ring, so I think that makes us even,” he said with a smirk, causing Retsuko to laugh. “Secondly...I didn’t really think about it until a few days ago, but under most circumstances, this probably wouldn’t ever happen. I wasn’t exactly the most...stable dude. My crush on you all those years ago kinda put me in a few rough spots, I won’t lie. In most cases, I probably would’ve found, if we were ever a thing, that we didn’t work out in the slightest, and that I wasted so much time. But that didn’t happen. The moment you and I began going out, I felt...better about myself. More selfless, cheerier, more energetic, more focused. I can’t recall the last time I went into work with my chest clenching up, or my brain going all over the place! You managed to take a broken wreck like me, and fix me until I was a new man. I often wish I could repay you in any possible way, and kick myself for not being good enough...but you never seem to mind, and you don’t know how grateful I am for that. Taking care of Ikari with you has been one of the greatest honors I’ve ever had put upon me, and will probably continue to be that way for a long time. I cannot promise I will be the best husband in the world. I’m hardly the best boyfriend. But if it means I get to start every day with your incredible smile, and our pride and joy bringing us all the happiness in the world, I’m willing to do the best I possibly can. I vow to be a caring, and loving husband, to never turn my back on you, and to be there whenever you need me. I love you with all my heart, Retsuko, and I cannot wait for what awaits us.”
By the time both were done, their eyes were wet with tears, as both look at each other with the biggest smiles possible. “...guys, c’mon. You’re at an event, no need to get emotional,” said Fenneko, causing the two to laugh out out, before continuing. “Well, in any case, let’s get those rings on ya!” As they put the rings on their fingers (courtesy of the ring-bearer...Ikari), it really does start to sink in...this is happening. They are actually going to get married. And now...the moment everyone knew was coming. “Do you, Retsuko, take this lumbering oaf, I mean, Haida, to be your lawfully wedded husband, through good times and bad, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?” “....I do,” said Retsuko, with a small sense of joy upon saying those words. “And do you, Haida, take this death metal singing freak, I mean, Retsuko, to be your lawfully wedded wife, through good times and bad, in sickness and in health, until death do you part? ….and even then, knowing you, you would desperately try not to part with her upon death?,” Fenneko joked. “I do,” said Haida, rather warmly.
“Well, then, by the power invested in me, and put upon my two closest friends, I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride….kiss her, ya idiot.”
Haida very gently lifted Retsuko’s veil before being jumped by the red panda, who proceeded to give him the biggest kiss she could possibly give. He wrapped his arms, and returned the smooch, all while a roaring applause calls out to them. Not that it mattered to them. As far as they were concerned, they were together, in their own little world of love. As soon as the kiss broke, they could only stare into each others’ eyes, tears streaming down, and just laugh. “We did it!,” exclaimed Retsuko, repeating that phrase until Haida began joining her, nuzzling his face up to hers. He picked her up bridal style, and began walking up the aisle, outside the doors, to a bunch of cherry blossom trees. “Ah...it’s really beautiful out here, huh?,” asked Retsuko. “It sure is...but it doesn’t hold a candle to yo-“ “Retsuko! Haida! Wait!” The two turn, and see Tsunoda and Fenneko run up to them. “W-what’s wrong?,” asked Haida. “Well, firstly, ya gotta throw the bouquet, Retsy. That’s kind of a thing in weddings.” “Oh, okay!” Retsuko responded to Fenneko’s request by simply dropping the bouquet into the fennec fox’s arms. “There! Now you and Tsunoda can get married!” Tsunoda laughed at the gesture, while Fenneko just looked at them, unamused. “...ha. Funny. Secondly, we kinda forgot to get a wedding photo of you guys, so we need to do that quickly. We figured you guys would want Ikari, but since he refuses to let go of the ring pillow, I’m gonna have to ask that you guys take off your rings, and put them on the pillow when we get it set up, so it doesn’t look like he’s just grabbing a pillow for no reason.” “Oh. Sure!,” said Haida.
The four quickly look around, before finding a view of the lake, with cherry blossoms blowing around, a bunch of petals already on the floor. “Perfect!,” Tsunoda exclaimed, running over, and picking up Ikari, to put him in front of his parents, clinging tight to the pillow. The couple quickly handed the rings to Fenneko, who put them nicely onto the pillow, while the child began crying, possibly from being overwhelmed. “Ah, great. Um...pacifier? Anything?” “Oh, there’s one in my pocket!,” Haida revealed, grabbing one out, and handing it to Fenneko. She quickly plants it into the child’s mouth, subduing him enough to get the photo. “We only got one shot, so let’s make it count,” the fennec fox said, as she stood back enough, phone camera at ready. “You guys good to go?” The hyena and red panda looked at each other, love brightening up their faces tenfold. Suddenly, Retsuko draws her cheek up to Haida’s. “Ready, Fenneko!”
It was here, when Haida finally let it sit in. Retsuko was his wife now. The mere notion of that would’ve sounded like some distant dream not too long ago. He often wondered what that day would look like, and here it was.
Was he sure this wasn’t a dream? Surely an angel like Retsuko would never settle for a lowlife like Haida, right? That only seems reasonable.
But no. It was very much real.
It was real...
“Smile!”

...and it was perfect.
So, I mentioned how stressful the whole final chapter would be, given I want to get it done before Season 2 premieres...then I magically wake up at 4 in the morning, and decide to write it out. Funny how that works, huh? Well, anyways, there is an epilogue left, but otherwise, this IS the last part of this story. I want to thank all of you for being so patient with me, a lot of stuff has happened since the beginning of writing this, to today. A lot of work, a lot of laziness, a lot of illness and most surprisingly, a lot of stress. Yeah, while writing this wasn’t very stressful, events going on, either in my life, or in my social circles, kinda left me in various stages of stress. But, I think a large chunk of that is gonna die down now. Hopefully, anyway.
A GINORMOUS shout-out to @skeletonguys-and-ragdolls for the wonderful picture you see. Diana, thank you so, so, SO much for helping to make this thing that much more special to me, and for being as patient as you were during this whole thing. I want to apologize again for taking so damn long.
So! Where to now? Answer....well, firstly, get the epilogue done. That’s kinda the main thing. But also! Considering Season 2 is coming out (and yes, I did catch a bit of the trailer on Netflix...I like to think it helped increase my stress a little bit. :P), that raises the question....will the Ikariverse also include Season 2?????
Fuck no, I already had to kinda retcon things to get the Christmas special in there, you think I’m gonna sneak in a whole season? Get outta here.
BUT! Chances are ELEMENTS of Season 2 will be in there. I know Retsuko’s mom in the series will probably not appear, because....well, I already wrote in Rie, and I’m too lazy to change that. But other characters may still very much appear. We’ll just have to see. Until that comes, I probably will just write shorter, sillier adventures. I still need to write Gori and Washimi meeting Ikari, I think....actually, come to think of it, there’s a lot of stuff I need to write. Should probably get on that. :/
Until then, guys, have yourselves a wonderful day!

Higurashi Month 2020, Day 26: Forever and a Day
Higurashi Month prompts archive: AO3
It was for a wedding, or so Mion had explained when the truckload of flowers was unceremoniously dumped on her doorstep and the others found her and Shion sorting through them. Some relative of theirs had decided nothing would do but having an extravagant wedding with a dozen different types of flower arrangement and probably dozens of different kinds of flowers, and, well, with the wedding done and the bridal bouquet preserved, the rest of the flowers really had become extraneous. Thus, they were sent to Mion’s grandmother as a sort of tribute, and thus, Mion and Shion were allowed to pick them over when Batcha accepted the tribute for what it was: a cheap attempt to appeal to her that disguised the couple in question getting rid of the flowers so they wouldn’t have to deal with them themselves.
Everyone except Keiichi and Satoko plunged in with squeals of glee, picking apart all the wreathes and vases and floral arrangements with glee, and even Keiichi had been persuaded by the bright colors and nice scents, and Satoko was lured in by the prospect of roses and thorny traps.
“Check this out!” Mion said, lifting a twisted, elegant branch with pear blossoms sprouting from it. Keiichi looked over without understanding, and Mion’s deft fingers quickly wove a circlet of pear flowers out of the bendy branch and several of its duplicates, holding it up with glee.
“Looks nice?” Keiichi said, wondering what the significance of the admittedly pretty-looking flower crown was.
“Mew…” Rika slunk down inside her pile of flowers, but Mion grinned and plonked the crown down on her hair before she could escape.
“Mi!” Rika wailed in protest.
“Now you match!” Mion said, laughing, and Keiichi snickered too as he caught the joke.
“Hau, you look lovely.” Hanyuu said, patting Rika gently on the head, being careful to avoid the twisted wreath of her white-blooming flower crown. Rika scowled at her, and then, quick as lightning, grabbed a fistful of stalks with drooping, fuzzy, purple-red spikes of blossoms, weaving them quickly together, and all but slammed that wreath down on Hanyuu’s head, making sure to catch it under her horns to further complicate removal.
“There!” she said with an angelic smile and a spiteful undertone. “Now you match!”
“Hauhauhau…” Hanyuu whimpered, clutching at her horns and the drooping clumps of flowers that flopped around them. “Rikaaa!”
“That looks so cute, yes it does! So cute!” Rena chirped, smiling placidly from her place surrounded by more flowers. She frowned and cupped her chin as she studied the vase closest to her, inspecting the blossoms. “I wonder what sort of crown I should make…”
“Hah!” Mion laughed, smirking dangerously and rubbing her pollen-smeared hands. “Why don’t we make it a competition?”
“Eh…” Keiichi rubbed the back of his head as he looked at the flowers. “I don’t really know how to make those crown thingies…”
“Its okay Keiichi-kun.” Rena said kindly, patting his shoulder. “I’ll help you make a really cute flower crown!”
Keiichi paused, then slowly nodded once or twice, firming his jaw. “Alright. Damn straight we will!” He punched the air and grinned. “I’ll make a crown so awesome you all bow down before me and call the flower king!”
“That’s the spirit!” Mion cackled, tossing her hair back and pulling the shears she’d been using for tougher stems out from the loop of her jeans like she was unsheathing a sword. “A club challenge! Rika and Hanyuu already have their flower crowns, but for them and everyone else, let’s see who can make the best! Whoever wins becomes Flower Queen or King, and the others must bow down and serve them for the remainder of our cleanup here!”
“Bring it on!” Keiichi shouted, and he and Rena high-fived.
“Mm, I don’t think a clumsy boy like Keiichi-san will ever be able to make crowns as pretty as ours. Oh-ho-ho~!” Satoko cackled, holding a hand with a red rose tucked between her fingers before her mouth.
“That’s the spirit, Satoko!” Shion cheered, flipping her long hair back over her shoulders with her own hand, to prepare it as much as she could for being crowned, since unlike Mion she wore her hair loose.
“The competition begins now!” Mion announced, jabbing a finger into the air. “Whoever doesn’t make an awesome crown by the end of an hour gets a punishment game!”
And with that, the furious plundering of the various vases, wreaths, and other floral arrangements began, with each individual flower and stem being examined with minute attention before being either discarded, sorted, or laid aside for the preparation of a crown. And slowly, those crowns took place, with Rika and Hanyuu endeavoring to add to the ones they already had, rather than create other ones anew.
By the end of things, Rika had a beautiful, spreading fan of white pear blossoms that arched and waved on her head like a frozen spray of seafoam, and she folded her arms smugly as she looked at her nervously squeaking cousin.
Hanyuu, by contrast, had built her crown in a hanging curtain, since the sprays of flowers did not hold up well under gravity, and looked something like the European pictures of Silenus and Bacchus, albeit much smaller, younger, and cuter.
Satoko, perhaps taking a cue from this classical look, had woven a crown of white roses, gathering most of the blooms in the front of her wreath and making a point to stick out the stems in the sides and back, mimicking the thorns that had been stripped from the stalks.
Keiichi, true to form, had created a bold, colorful crown of stiff, upwards-pointing star-shaped flowers, which where held together at the top with some wire and string, creating a bishop-like pointed arch that was certainly impressive in its own way, if not particularly inspired.
Rena had woven her long stems of bursting white, pink, and purple flowers around her head in a rather ironic copy of her beloved white hat, somehow managing to create a cap of the fragrant blossoms that had several charming points and extensions where the long stems poked out of her crown.
Since peonies grew singularly on their stalks, Mion had opted for a more traditional flower crown, a thin circlet-like wreath with several of the spreading, fist-sized pink blossoms tucked behind her ear and studded over her forehead like a coronet.
Shion’s flowers were on single stalks as well, but these were much thinner than peony stalks, so Shion was able to weave an elegant flower crown with evenly spaced white stars circling her brow and head, even arranging several of the flowers to dangle down on their stalks behind her ears, like earrings or chains.
Mion cupped her chin thoughtfully as she surveyed the work of her club, who were all looking at each other with equal amounts of challenge and congratulation in their eyes.
“Hmm…” she said aloud. “Hmm…”
“I won, right?” Keiichi asked, briefly gesturing to his towering crown before returning to his folded-arms position. “Mine’s bigger than everyone else’s.”
“Ah, but Kei-chan, my flowers are bigger than yours.” Mion said with a smirk, removing her hand from her chin. “Yours is the tallest, not the biggest.”
“H-hau, but I have the most!” Hanyuu chipped in, squeezing her eyes shut from the effort of piping up during a club judging, hands clenched in the front of her pink jumper. “Since mine are so small!”
“Mine was made the neatest!” Shion cut in.
“Mine was the hardest to make!” Rena pointed out, waving her arms.
“At least I tried to be creative and symbolic!” Satoko said with a huff.
“Oh yeah?” Rena’s eyes narrowed, and she whipped out one of the thin metal stakes that had held some of the flowers up, about as thick around as a pencil, lunging towards Satoko with a shout of “En garde!”
“Gyah!” Satoko reeled back, holding an arm before her chest with her eyes wide. “T-treachery in the Flower Kingdom?! To arms!”
“Yaaah!” Shion shouted, lunging and smacking Rena’s “sword” down with a metal stake of her own. “To arms!”
“This is an insult that shall be paid in blood!” Keiichi roared, grabbing a stake of his own and hastening to the aid of his comrade Rena.
And so the makeshift club challenge devolved into a mock sword-fight with all the club members, frequently gasping and yelping in pain as the thin metal stakes thwacked down on wrists or poked into ribs. They skidded and slipped a little in the drifts of flowers everywhere, knocking the plastic vases (since the decorative ones had been placed in storage or the house hours ago) aside and spilling water and more flowers everywhere, filling the air with the scent of perfume, water, and crushed growing things.
Eventually, more than one crown was shredded and hung precariously over an ear or a forehead, but still they fought with valor and laughter, and eventually, one by one, the club members collapsed giggling into the piles of flowers everywhere, laughing up at the blue sky.
Slowly, their laughter dwindled, becoming something quieter, more content, as they looked up through the sleepy heat at the white clouds crawling across the sky, how puffy and billowing they were, how bright the blue of the sky was between them, and how wide it seemed, engulfed by the scents of crushed flowers and petals and feeling the fibrous mat of them beneath their collective backs. It was a long, long moment, the sort of seconds that seemed to become minutes and the sort of hours that didn’t seem to exist at all.
Wrapped in the drowsy, contented heat of summer and of the fun that came with friendship and playing amongst true childhood friends, the group stilled, and just were for a peaceful, unending stretch of time, were with each other and the day, were together and tired and resting and just soaking in the glorious ambiance of the day and the memories this day would make.
“So,” Mion said at long last, still looking up at the sky with the others. “Truce?”
“The Flower Kingdom shall not forget this treachery.” Satoko murmured, flopping an arm in an aimless gesture of defiance at Rena.
“Mm.” Rena agreed, eyes half-lidded and sleepy like a lizard’s as she peered up at the clouds.
Their long, restful, sleepy pause was interrupted by a voice from inside the house, a loud, authoritative voice that made them all jump up in alarm and lunge for the discarded vases and buckets.
“WHAT HAVE YOU CHILDREN DONE TO THE FLOWERS?!”
AN: The joke behind Rika’s flower crown is that Rika’s name literally means “pear blossom,” which in flower language signifies lasting friendship and hope. Rika wove a flower crown of amaranths, a plant genus named for the mythical amárantos flower, allegedly a purplish flower that never faded or died, usually symbolizing immortality because of that. Keiichi got gladiolus, which means strength of character, honor, conviction, etc. Mion had peonies, which symbolize prosperity and honor in China and masculinity and bravery in Japan, and Shion had rainflowers, which symbolize returned love, never forgetting someone, and needing to atone for one’s sins. Rena had larkspur, which is also known as delphinium, which symbolizes levity, fun, generosity, ardent attachment, and joy. Satoko had white roses, which symbolize innocence and virtue, and may symbolize sorrow if dried.

Are Black Bridesmaid Dresses a Good Choice for a Wedding?
Have you ever thought about having black bridesmaid dresses at your wedding? This issue is vividly discussed on many bridal forums and blogs. While some experts consider black to be not the best solution for a wedding, the others are sure that the gowns in this colour look elegant and very stylish.
Actually, today even a bride can go to the aisle wearing a dress of any colour, including black. So, why not choose this colour for bridesmaids’ dresses? Our opinion is that black gowns are appropriate for weddings, especially if they suit the wedding theme and style.
So, let’s discuss this issue in more detail. Moreover, in this post, we are going to provide you with some astonishing examples of black bridesmaid dresses as well as help you to find alternatives to them.
Is It Appropriate to Use Black Bridesmaid Dresses?
If you are one of those brides who wants to accentuate her wedding with black bridesmaid dresses, here are some facts, which will prove that you are about to make the right decision.
Firstly, if you make some search on the net, you will see dozens of wedding photos with bridesmaid in black, which are fantastic. Actually, black dresses look great in contrast with a bride’s white gown.
Secondly, black is flattering for everyone. It accentuates beautiful bodies of slim girls and makes plus-size girls look slimmer. The girls of any age, with any hair and skin colour look elegant and beautiful in black gowns.
Thirdly, black colour never goes out of style. It seems to be always popular no matter how fashion trends change. So, by opting for this colour, you give your bridesmaids a chance to wear the gown once again. It seems to be a decent money investment.
Fourthly, black colour is appropriate for any season. Though some people think that dark bridesmaid dresses suit fall and winter weddings more, today this rule doesn’t work. So, black can look great even at a mid-summer wedding.
Fifthly, black can be combined with other colours. So, you can opt for black and white dresses, black and gold ones, black and red gowns etc. Moreover, you can add some details to a simple black dress. For instance, a sash of a contrasting colour can work well.
Sixthly, if you are afraid of a too gloomy look, keep in mind that the proper accessories can fix everything in the wink of the eye. For instance, jewellery can make real wonders. You can use a jewellery set or a single piece like statement earrings. Also, headpieces can be applied. Moreover, the bridesmaids’ bouquets will also add brightness to their look.
Another way to make a black dress look more interesting is to play with the texture. Thus, black velvet bridesmaid dresses or sequined ones look really cool and unusual. Besides, even a simple chiffon dress can look brighter if it features some textured details like draperies, ruffles or lace.
And, finally, we are sure that there are much more black dresses for sale than the ones in any other colour. Thanks to its universality and elegance, black is featured in the collections of any brand no matter if it’s cheap or expensive.
10 Ideas of the Best Black Bridesmaid Dresses

If your bridesmaids can boast of beautiful bodies, you may highlight that with such a dress in a mermaid silhouette. It’s very elegant and, at the same time, is sexy. The V-neck is perfectly combined with lace décor and a satin skirt.

It resembles a gown of a Greek goddess. Moreover, the models like these are great ideas of plus size black bridesmaid dresses.
Short Satin Dress
In case you are fond of minimalism and like sleek textures, you need to think about opting for satin dresses. This short off-the-shoulder gown is a decent variant. It’s pretty simple and features no excess embellishments. At the same time, it can be beautifully accessorized with statement jewelry and cool shoes.
Dress with Flutter Sleeves

They look really cool and are especially suitable for spring-summer weddings. Moreover, the top of this A-line dress features sequins and so, your bridesmaids will sparkle as well.

This gown features a V-neckline, which is flattering almost for everyone and adds visual height to short girls.
Minimalist Black Dress
You may know that even simple long black bridesmaid dresses can look astonishing. Actually, this mermaid dress is very simple and its only accent is a creative back design. However, if a girl has beautiful body curves and accessories this gown with the proper jewellery, she will definitely have a “wow” look.
Short Chiffon Bridesmaid Dress
The beauty is in simplicity. These short black bridesmaid dresses made of chiffon prove this rule. They suit the most outdoor weddings as well as semi-formal ones. Also, chiffon is a pretty light material and is more appropriate for warmer seasons.

Bridal Ninian
Overview
Bridal Ninian, aka the BEST GIRL, is a flying blue tome dancer! She has incredible utility with great mobility, the ability to use things like Guidance and Flier Formation, and can work pretty well as a supportive buffing unit!
She has a pretty disappointing atk stat at 28, her spd is not doing her any favors at 33, and her defenses could use some work at 18/27. That all being said, Ninian is not really meant to join the front lines of battle. She’s supposed to fly around dancing and buffing your teammates and not really fighting or tanking anything. She’s incredibly useful even despite her poor statline and horrifyingly low BST of 140.
Pros/Cons
+Dancer! Support unit! Welcome on pretty much any team
+As a flier, great mobility and access to buffs and exclusive skills
-Incredibly low BST so you probably won’t want her in your arena team
-Poor stats overall means she won’t find much use outside of support
Similar Units
New Year Azura is another (the only other at the time of me typing this) flying dancer (well, singer in Azura’s case). Airzura is an ax unit and does not have the same ranged utility as Ninian, but she boasts a higher spd at 35 and a few extra points to atk (30) that make her slightly more offensive. She still won’t be slaughtering entire maps, but she’ll duel a lot better on her own. It really depends on your team who you want here because they’re both incredibly useful as support units.
Bridal Ninian is also in a similar boat as Performing Arts Shigure. They have low BST which makes them undesirable in arena teams. They have low atk (28 and 31 respectably) and lower spd (33 and 29 respectably) so they aren’t offensive. Their defenses aren’t even great, though Ninian at least has serviceable res. Bridal Ninian would generally be the better option between the two.
Team Options
Love Abounds Eliwood. Normal Eliwood.
She’ll work on most teams, honestly. She’ll fit in well in most flier teams as well, especially if you don’t have Airzura or you need a blue tome unit on your Flier Emblem team. She also performs pretty nicely on mixed emblem teams if you want to slap a tactic skill on her or make use of Guidance.
She’ll need someone to protect her against any and all threats. She can survive against some red mages, especially those using triangle adept or the lower spd ones, but most other units will shred her. Archers could decimate her, even if you put Iote’s shield on her. DC units will murder her, even if she has color advantage. She’s just fragile and not the fastest.
IVS
+Spd is ideal to help keep her from getting doubled by boosting her to 36 spd. +Atk is not a terrible option if you ever plan on using her in battle, as she’ll reach 31 atk. Still not great but not horrible. +Res is an option to help her suitability as well, getting her to 30 res.
HP is ok dropped or kept neutral to help her with her magical bulk.
-Def is pretty much always going to be the safest bet. Her def sucks anyway, letting it fall to 15 won’t hurt her.
It’s worth noting that Atk is a superBANE so if you get -atk, you’ll lose 4 points rather than 3 and it will effect her scoring even more. If you don’t care about BST or you plan on using her strictly as support, -atk isn’t awful.
Builds
Wind Beneath My Wings for the first dance
Weapon: Fresh Bouquet+ (spd ref)
Assist: Dance
Special: Moonbow
A: Fury 3
B: Chill Atk 3, Wings of Mercy 3
C: Depends on what you want!
Seal: Guidance or Flier Formation is great
This is cheap and makes her as supportive as possible while still being decent at protecting herself. Fury will give her a boost to all of her stats to help her suitability, mostly. Chill Atk is amazing but if you don’t want to use chill skills for whatever reason, she’ll like Wings of Mercy so she can fly around the map to her teammates really quickly.
We’re Soaring, Flying,
Weapon: Blarserpent+ (spd ref)
Assist: Dance
Special: Iceberg
A: Fury 3
B: Chill Atk 3, Guard 3
C: Up to you!
Seal: Distant Def 3
If you want her to be able to tank a little better, this is the build for you. Blarserpent will give her def/res when attacked, Iceberg will do some nice damage when factoring in the +6 res from her weapon, the +6 from Distant Def seal, and the +3 from Fury. Chill Atk 3 is still amazing, but Guard can be used to protect her from some heroes who rely on specials or have particularly devestating ones.
Get skills from...
Blarserpent: 5* FMorgan
Iceberg: 4* Shanna, Niles
Moonbow: 4* Odin, Palla, Athena
Fury 3: 4* Hinata
Wings of Mercy 3: 4* Cain
