Obviously you can't put things that can't be recycled into the recycling (lol) and 'large food scraps' are to be avoided but otherwise it's fine. The person who 'corrected' the person with the Masters degree is not really correct.

also i did check that link out but that's for when you separate ur own recyclables instead of just doing curbside so i didnt know if it applied?? who knows quite frankly the recycling messaging from everywehere is batshit
