#example one: RNLI Poole Lifeboat museum has a 1939 lifeboat that helped in the Dunkirk evacuation and has the history from 1882 to 2021#example two: Milton Keynes museum that has rooms that recreate victorian life and has a full museums on development of telephones#I just love museams

Saw a post shilling a creature collector game for being diverse and having romanceable party members and then was like “I don’t know why tumblr hasn’t gotten attached to it yet except that Pokémon fans refuse to try other games” like believe it or not the problem with the Pokémon franchise these days is NOT the lack of romance routes . Maybe convince me how the ACTUAL GAMEPLAY is better than Pokémon and I’ll give it a try
#I’m also pretty picky about creature designs. Pokémon has a certain je ne sais quoi that most other games fail to recreate#i can find something appealing or likable about nearly every Pokémon#i haven’t seen many of the beasts from the game this post mentioned but already some of them just don’t have the right vibes#also as far as the gameplay goes. it uses like shared stamina for all of a beast’s moves? which is kind of weird#like if you don’t wanna copy individual moves having their own points that’s fine but if EVERY attack casts from the same pool of points#that’s kind of overly limiting. like most RPGs with some kind of magic points still give you attacks that don’t spend them#ALSO I know it’s an open world game with resource gathering so you are REALLY going to have to sell me on the rest of the game. lmao.

#i just#ok yea i made noel fielding a luxury comedy in the sims 4#but it’s fine#yeah it’s actually really good#yea i made noel and andy warhol and smooth and dolly#yea i made the cafe and the office#they’re still works in progress#i was really disappointed when there were no stingray stickers for the bottom of the pool and only turtle stickers ngl#i really wanted tony reason but it’s just an empty tank 😭#i want to make dondylion too but i can’t quite figure it out…#do i have better things i should be doing instead of making luxury comedy in the sims? most definitely#but like i can’t stop now bc i’ve almost got it man#i should make sargent raymond boombox but i think i didn’t bc they don’t have yellow skin as an option? i think#but i’ve perfect noel andy smooth and dolly#gave them all personalized bedrooms that i think quite match them#really using this as interior design simulator#although i didn’t know what to do for smooths room so i just made it vaguely shamany even though he’s not naboo……..#dolly’s room probably has room for improvement#but i nailed her outfits dude like it’s actually so good#and andy’s#i’m always tweaking noel’s outfits though#it’s all with the base game proving i’m a big time gamer#i tried to make andy warhols room look like some place you would leave a robot to charge#but he’s a snob and keeps getting bored so i had to had some paintings#but like something he would’ve made kind of paintings#it’s so good man#like i’m too good at recreating shows in the sims#i might do the boosh next#if i perfect luxury comedy#noel fielding

#emma posts#flight rising#I named them ocean heart because I had a titanic phase as a child#I say phase but it lasted a few years#both the movie and the real life events#I was… a slightly odd child. but I know I’m not alone!#plenty of kids found the disaster interesting. not sure how many tried to recreate something like the movie scene with their siblings in the#pool. we didn’t do the whole door thing. but dramatically holding on to a floaty while creating waves? yes#i don’t think we recreated the romance with each other though. just the disaster and I acted like I was in a tragic romance as well#with some made up third person. not my brothers#we also did this thing where we tilted the pull out couch and pretend we were sliding on a tilted deck#…kids can be weird#obviously we all survived these fictional ordeals. but our parents did not#they weren’t also playing so they were just dead#we grew up on a farm so a majority of the time before frequent internet use it was just us and a cousin or two
