“oh sure.” you say, hopping off of the stool with his assistance. you feel like two little kids on their way to a magical journey.

the storage room was only several footsteps away as all you really had to do was traverse through the high-top dwellers as they munch on their wings and adding to their collection of glass bottles for the poor servers and bussers to collect.

the two of you disappear into the storage room and yangyang closes the door behind him and twists the lock.

he sets the bottle from the bar onto one of the backup tables that were shoved against the wall across from the door.

obviously their hits are hits for a reason. Sugar is so much fun to sing. Dance, Dance has a wicked fun bass part. Immortals and Centuries are both simply iconic. Grand Theft Autumn is a classic. I also really love The Last Of The Real Ones

I really like Alone Together, Fake Out (obviously sndkdnskfk) — actually, Hazel, do me a solid and just listen to all of So Much (For) Stardust straight through one time if you want/have a chance. it's so worth the like, hour of your time — Disloyal Order Of Water Buffaloes, Bob Dylan, and Hold Me Tight Or Don't. they're super good songs lyrically and musically I love them dearly they're not like, radioplay popular but they're decently well known?

as for some deeper cuts basically all of Folie A Deux is a banger despite the morality of some of the songs being iffy lol but hey. it bops we gotta be real here. I really really like the title track off of Save Rock And Roll (it makes me a bit emotional considering the band's journey through the years yknow?) as well as Miss Missing You. The Patron Saint of Liars and Fakes goes HARD. The Music Or The Misery is... a whole lot. Bang the Doldrums, an absolute BANGER of a song to jump around a room to, could technically go in the lore category but honestly. it's the song that would have been in Shrek 2 if DreamWorks weren't hecking cowards. The (After) Life Of The Party is one of my favorite songs EVER. Wilson (Expensive Mistakes) is basically my theme song.

as for like, Lore songs, Hum Hallelujah is actually one of THE songs that got me into FOB, as well as Coffee's For Closers — Hum is largely about FOB's lyricist and bassist's suicide attempt (not in a horribly depressing way actually, it's a reference and a homage to the song that he says saved his life), and CFC borrows lyrics from one of that guy's old blog post poetry things (which I actually reblogged earlier today). I've Got A Dark Alley And A Bad Idea That Says You Should Shut Your Mouth (Summer Song) (yes, by Fall Out Boy sjdkdksk) is also tangentially about Pete's attempt in that he wrote it around that time and it's very much about his own insecurities. a pretty dark, sad song but one I relate to a lot and it sounds SO pretty. Saturday, off their first (proper) record, is a song the lead singer wrote pretty much entirely about the band and specifically the aforementioned bassist/lyricist — very historical song but also the song I sing every time I get in the car to drive somewhere skdlfjssk.

They have also scheduled shows around the country, including in their hometown of Buffalo. This show is bound to be extra special for them since Buffalo is their hometown. The lineup includes bands native to Buffalo, NY, except for Stand Abandoned. Don't miss the exciting performances from The Bunny The Bear, Stand Abandoned, Loveboxx, and Wasted Reject, a local band, will be opening the show for these performers. As we drove up to the venue, we could see a small line starting to form with fans ready to get into The Rec Room. As we walked into the venue, I was surprised to see that the stage layout was completely different than most venues. Since it's more of a club show, I enjoyed the environment of it being more of an intimate show.

Wasted Reject is a solo act from Buffalo, NY. Samuel made his debut back in 2020. His mission is to create music that means something to his fans. He delves into serious topics such as dread, isolation, addiction, and more. During a performance, his wife and friends showed their full support by coming up to the front of the room. I enjoyed some of his music, particularly the song "Call Back." During the performance, Wasted Reject encouraged the crowd to participate, and each time he sang "give me a call back," the fans would scream it back to him. His music stands out from the rest of the bands on the lineup in a good way.

Loveboxx is a four-piece hardcore band from the vibrant city of Buffalo, NY. This talented group of musicians is known for their high-energy performances and emotionally evocative songs that span across various genres, including punk, metal, and rock. Their music is a unique blend of heavy riffs, driving beats, and raw vocals that create a powerful and intense sound. Their lyrics are deeply personal and thought-provoking, often touching on themes of love, loss, and self-discovery. Despite their relatively short time together, Loveboxx has already made a name for themselves in the local music scene, playing at various venues and festivals across the city. They have played with Adelias Way, The 69 Eyes, The Dead Deads & many more. I recently discovered Loveboxx, a band I'm adding to my must-listen playlist. They remind me of the band Heart, but even heavier. Mary M. Fantrazzo is the lead singer, and her voice blends perfectly with the instrumental backup. They kicked off their set with “P.S. I Hate You,” which interestingly enough is their number one track on Spotify. The band brought a lot of energy to the room, being playful and rocking out hard. Mary even made a joke before playing their last song, "DAVE," saying it was about their merch guy, which I found funny.

If you're a fan of Heavy Metalcore, then you need to check out Stand Abandoned! Hailing from New Hampshire, this band is making waves with their intense sound and captivating performances. This year, Stand Abandoned announced that they will be going on their first-ever tour! It's an exciting time for the band and their fans alike as they get ready to hit the road and bring their electrifying music to audiences nationwide. This band played with passion. You could see it on all of their faces. Before the set started, they were talking to a few fans, letting them know that we would be in for a treat, because they would be playing some new songs: "Skin Walker" & "Corruption". They were right. The mosh pit had more people in it and they were having fun doing the two-step to the beat of the music.

The Bunny the Bear is an American post-hardcore band that hails from Buffalo, New York. The band is famous for its diverse style of post-hardcore, which is influenced by a range of rock and electronic music sub-genres. These include, metalcore, experimental rock, alternative rock. In 2008, an electrifying duo emerged onto the music scene - The Bunny the Bear! Led by the enigmatic Matthew Tybor, aka "The Bunny", this group has taken the world by storm with their unique persona and mesmerizing performances. And who could forget Chris Hutka, aka "The Bear", who always dons a mighty bear mask? (RIP to Chris Hatka). The Bear's mask has become a staple, even with the ever-changing lineup of talented clean vocalists. I was taken by surprise when I blinked and saw the room suddenly filled with The Bunny, The Bear's friends and family. Matthew's wife, Brooke, joined him on stage and they performed together. Throughout the set, Matthew would give her kisses. Although Brooke initially wore their signature mask, she took it off almost immediately. Matthew was full of energy, jumping on and off the stage multiple times to interact with his family and friends. The band's outfits were well-coordinated as well. Both the guitarist and drummer wore matching black clothes with a grungy look. It seemed that their outfits also suited their styles. As my husband and I were leaving, we could hear the crowd chanting for an encore: “One more song!”

Drama Through the End of the Stefon Diggs Era for Buffalo Bills

Stefon Diggs’s watery blue cheese was inferior to Rootie’s in every way.  And his hot sauce tasted like private label Tabasco.  I'll respect his standard of honesty. He’s Houston’s problem as of yesterday, so they can brace to determine the difference between merely venting and demanding another work transfer.

The cessation of constant simmering drama shocked in specifics even if everyone expected it at some point.  Like the prototypical American Chopper argument, the fact this particular bout of one-sided bickering really ended the partnership was the only striking part.

Postponing gratification is fulfilling.  We’ve got awhile to convince ourselves.  I’m so thrilled about a draft pick next year that I’m not even going to feel depressed about waiting virtually eternally to redeem it.  An ice cream pint in the freezer’s corner is fun to discover when you thought you were out of frozen desserts.  It’s sadly your second flavor choice, so don’t expect sea salt in your caramel. 

Fittingly ticking off someone was part of the trade’s return.  Considering the meager return, it has to be.  The Bills sent Diggs to Texas but not the team where his brother plays out of Jerry Seinfeld-style spite.  Squashing a family reunion may not be the reason he’s a Texan unlike his Cowboy brother.  But enjoy a petty fantasy at this trying trade time.

There’s going to be some running around the house after liberation from oppressive forces, so let Josh have his Kevin McAllister moment.  There will be no ensuing lesson about the importance of treasuring family.

The suspicion that Brandon Beane would’ve never made the deal without the kingpin quarterback’s blessing defines this team’s direction in case it wasn’t abundantly clear.  Josh Nelson Allen must move the offense himself.

Deciphering art is easy once you’ve tried to break the code of Diggs tweets.  The inscrutable communiques felt like listening to a numbers station without possessing a one-time pad.  The only certainty was that he was putting pouting into words.  Bob Dylan lyrics look like hotel fire evacuation instructions by comparison. 

Drafting a wideout is the universe’s most pressing task.  Other teams know the secret.  Trades involving draft order will be trickier following this one.  It’s tough to bluff when everyone knows exactly what cards the Bills hold and also don’t.

This has to be the first in a series of moves to add younger talent to the receiving corps, according to my desperate emotions.  Beane is in danger of resembling Michael Scott doing a drumroll.  He doesn’t have to make more moves involving the position today.  But lack of immediate transactions doesn’t mean they’re forthcoming, either.  Panic just in case.

Trying to rationalize diva stylings was easier around the time Diggs was in the best ever Bills receiver discussion.  Warnings from jilted Vikings fans were taken under advisement.  Hissy fits are easier to tolerate when the source is catching footballs.  But a declining role under a new coordinator led to getting dropped following Diggs doing the same.  It’s unfortunate his last play for Buffalo was such a letdown, although cringing at the final impression might make the breakup easier.

I was not expecting the obvious outcome to occur on any random day.  Anyone who thinks Diggs would never be traded is unfamiliar with the Marcell Dareus precedent.  Beane has shown a willingness to pay for avoiding aggravation.  Increasing a cap hit in response to sliming the franchise’s savior employs the same principle as forking over for airport lounge access.

Winning makes a locker room full of brats bearable.  Chemistry means playing well enough to justify putting up with behavior that’d make Kathleen Battle blush.  But it suddenly gets harder to tolerate negative vibes from the erstwhile top option.

Diggs was fittingly a good actor.  His fake throwing to fans in the M&T ad was a charming pretend interaction with receivers who weren’t anywhere close to him.  If you’re seeking a sign, the Allen/Diggs infinity ones are obsolete even though they were supposed to be immune by virtue of removing the year.

Like what’s supposedly eternal, forever has a time limit.  None of the letters in BFF mean anything.  Forget the dead cap space: what about my t-shirt elegantly depicting the first Allen-to-Diggs touchdown graciously drawn by Buffalo Bills social media personnel after the broadcast cut out at a most inopportune time?  I still haven’t located the form to apply for a refund.

One can’t discount the emotional element even in a business of cold statistics.  In this case, it was sent away.  Fans form connections with players they admire.  Some players respond by admiring themselves.

As personable as Diggs could be, he found a way to create tension like it was separation from a cornerback.  That at least applied up until partway through last season.  The franchise doesn’t have to worry about placating a fragile worker via ample attention, especially since he wasn’t earning it anymore.

The Jersey Shore shifts from New York to Texas.  Houston receives a kabuki actor as a present consideration.  The big deal’s big deal offers no surprises even as he does surprising things.  The overall situation is predictable even if individual moments are imbued with havoc.

The question with Diggs is always if the yards he produces are worth the theatrical production.  He’s got a future on Broadway if he’s willing to work behind the scenes, so forget it.  The Bills made an economic calculation weighing benefits versus costs.  When the latter outweighs the former, it’s time to stop buying.

It’s not like offstage was the only place he put on a show.  The rest of the cast enjoyed the play.  Both Allen and Diggs benefitted from a classic pairing, as did fans.

But who helped more?  One person voted for himself and got no other support.  Determining who contributed the biggest percentage can seem like a silly debate right up until the second step proclaims the first is less important.  Diggs received luck along with footballs.  He credits himself for how the roulette wheel spun.  The Bills heading to Houston this season gives Diggs one more chance to create a spectacle.  Pass routes may or may not be part of it.
