Last show I watched- Justice League Action. with @reblogglelog, in point of fact XP this show is dear, and unhinged, and space cabbie is the chaotic neutral fae we all want in our lives, if not on our streets

Currently reading- Saint Death's Daughter. Did not expect to like this as much as I do! Necromancy and queer, but the cinnabon of a protagonist could not be more different from my problematic fave of the same genre, Gideon the Ninth.

My AO3 reading is also [redacted] by and large, though right now the majority of my most recent reads go to the absurdly wholesome tie of superbats and spirk <3

Current obsession- oh man you have to be way more specific ;-; for gaming, I've fallen deep and hard into CK3 and mtg (mtg has been for a while but is still all consuming). for fandom, all things DC but particularly the bats and the Justice League—then also Good Omens, but I am still mentally on fire about the finale and haven't yet properly engaged in fic because. I just. I want to scream and can't fight through that to read (yet) xp oh also buffy and hannibal have both been reawakened by showing them to folks and *wails* got a lot of feels

Getting to know me!

Last song I listened to- "Orange Juice" by Noah Kahan, because its sad boy hours. It's also a lovely song about loving someone suffering addiction.

Last show I watched- Justice League Action. It's cute, it's goofy, it's fun. I'm haunted by Space Cabbie. Space Cabbie is not human.

Currently reading- Justice League 1987, Issue #5. These children are so toxic.

Current obsession- *gestures broadly around* I'm a fluttering creature and bumble from one thing to the next, though one could possibly generously say that I am mentally stimulated by DC Comic's human Green Lanterns. Specifically the red head. Whatever his name it.

so, I've found myself in the position of explaining ABO to no fewer than three different professors, but still nothing prepared me to explain why me and my girlfriend fell into absolutely helpless laughter when my brother Adam (name matters) showed me the drawing his daughter did as her contribution to our dad, Bernard's, birthday coloring book (long story*)—

Idk what I love most here. The fact my 8-year-old niece has better handwriting than I do? the fact she clearly tried so much harder on the "it's okay to be a GAY man" bit than any of the rest of the writing? The little flag in the corner, as if the overwhelming subtlety of young, gay santa over there didn't clue you in? the goddamn ship name???

Hilarious, all of it, 10/10

So Adam shows me and my gf @acrownforaking the picture. We cackle because, well, I'm the Designated Gay in the family and ofc we're delighted. (To be clear, my dad's birthday also happens to be his 32-year wedding anniversary with my mom, and he is not in any way gay.)

At the party everyone thinks it's very dear. My niece spends the whole night preening about how well her page of the birthday coloring book has gone over.

I've spent the last month Pepe Silva-ing my way through Green Lantern and I currently have 22 tabs open with different runs, arcs, decades, reading orders, and wikipedia pages. This is because I wanted to read about Red Lantern Guy Gardner, but in order to understand what was happening in Red Lanterns, I had to read three other Green Lantern series and then got distracted by Sinestro and Hal's Adventures Through Space (what's the honeymoon version of a going on a road trip with your ex?), and Hal is such a pathetic wet boy and that triggered my Parallax Curiosity (hunger) so I went all the way back to the 90s run of Green Lantern to meet him (Hal Jordan you tragic bastard) and that's why I'm currently reading The Spectre.
