Propaganda:  Bc it's one of the only straight ships I could see for Crow tbh. (The other being him and Aki, but that doesn't feel like a rarepair to me.) And because I like the idea of their dynamic being "tall, serious, scary lady with short, energetic, fun boyfriend". And because it sometimes feels like they have negative 5 fics on ao3. Author’s note: written for ygo rarepair week. a little short piece. prompt chose: flowers

Kiryu didn’t know much about the language of flowers. Izayoi seemed intent on saying something through them, however. A new bouquet showed up at his door, complete with a card from Izayoi that read, “Thinking of you.”

 He glanced over the flowers, almost all of which were familiar to him. Considering Izayoi, each of them had to be picked out with a meaning to them. He pulled one of the flowers he recognized from the bouquet, spinning it in his hand. A white rose that was so pure that Kiryu thought it might burst into flames in his hands. It had been paired with a strangely long stem with delicate yellow buds, and some other flower he could not identify. Izayoi surely was trying to say something, but instead of trying to figure it out, Kiryu did what he did with every bouquet she’d sent him: he threw it in the trash.

 Whatever Izayoi was telling him, she could tell him herself.
