the mane six in the style of a G1 backcard! this sat in my files 90% done for like four months. finally decided to finish it today.

each of the ponies is based off of a specific line from G1: twilight is a twinkle eyed pony, rarity is a perfume puff pony, rainbow dash is a rainbow pony (obviously), fluttershy is a flutter pony, pinkie is a candy cane pony, and applejack has slightly modified version of her G1 design.

"You're lucky Mokie." Brunhilde said while they hung out in the Kaiba's Game room. A slice of heaven as She often called it. Her favorite place to hang out with her best friend/partner in crime.

The starling had a few noticeable changes, one of the main one beings she is slightly taller, but also her ears were no longer round. They got slightly pointer as if overnight. This was all result of puberty finally hitting her, but...that didn't mean it was all good.

"I mean...Technology is way better than magic. We get all this cool stuff like phones, video games, the internet...." She listed off before looking at Mokuba. "And your brother is way cooler than mine. He's basically a king who made a kingdom despite everything that happened to you two." Brunhilde said while grabbing a controller to start playing smash.

"....I'd like a brother like that."

How long had he been back for now? A few months? It still could catch him off guard at times, to think on everything that Kaiba had gone through just to get him back into the land of the living. There weren’t many people out there who would challenge the God’s themeselves. Then again, this was Seto Kaiba he was talking about. His hand trailed along the tinsel wrapped around the main staircase of the mansion as he desended the stairs, thinking over just what to he could get for the man who’d risked everything to bring him back here. A slight movement caught his eye and he all but danced over to the window, smiling brightly as he watched the small flakes of snow fall from the grey skys.

“You like the snow?”, a voice that sounded eerily like his own was heard behind him. This was the one thing that was difficult to get his head around. Even he had to admit it was more than a little strange to find out that Seto had built an identical copy of him in the form of the AI that stood now by his side, “It does look pretty I suppose. “Ahuh...Ai...never mind”, with a soft sigh he hurried along down the corridor that lead to Seto’s office, knocking on the door softly and waiting for permission before entering. “Hey - are you free for lunch?”

This was turning out to be a rather pleasant night. Seven, of course, absent but Kaiba and Mokuba seemed to be settling in with the others. They were sat in the back of a rather fancy restaurant, sitting around a large round table that contained a lot of food and drinks, Rika sipping at her wine as she engaged in polite conversation though for the most part, she was seeming to be rather relaxed. Jaehee now and then would ask some questions about the running of Kaiba’s company, seeming rather interested in how the company had taken such a drastic u-turn in regards to not only what they made but also their public image. “This was a pretty nice way to meet everyone”, Zen spoke up as he sipped on his own drink and glanced around at the small group, a warm smile on his perfect features, “Such a shame Seven couldn’t make it through” “Well, he’s always so busy with work”, V defended the hacker almost without thought, Rika smiling lightly before she helped herself to a little more food. Hopefully, Seven would be able to attend the party at least. He would enjoy learning more about the type of technology that the Kaiba Corp developed. “So what’s it like running a games company?”, Yoosung asked, eyes almost seeming to shine with excitement. For the majority of the night, he seemed to be talking mainly to Mokuba, taking an almost natural liking to the younger Kaiba. At the question, Jumin glanced up from his meal, seeming to be lost in thought for a moment before turning to Jaehee who looked slightly worried even before he spoke. “A game for cats”, he explained his thoughts and it was rather clear to see the confusion and slight panic in the woman’s eyes, “Write it down. I think that’ll be a good project” “...of course Mr Han”, Jaehee sighed, pulling out her phone to make a quick note of the idea, Rika unable not to giggle slightly at the exchange. Some things just never changed, did they? “We’d like to thank you both for making the time to come and meet us all. We look forward to working with you”, V almost seemed as though he was breaking into a speech, his eyes settling on the young CEO, “You must be rather busy all the time. I’m glad I was able to meet you both before the party. I have to leave in a few days to gather up some pictures to sell”. “Yeah he does this at times”, Yoosung sighed, Rika shaking her head as she reached over to give her cousin a small squeeze of comfort on his shoulder.

Luciel hummed happily to himself, helping himself to another handful of chips as he watched the screen before him. Ah, it looked amazing and actually rather easier than he thought this job would be, though he would admit that this Seto Kaiba person did have a pretty good security system. It was just his bad luck that the number one hacker in the world was after his soul! Humming softly along to his music, the redhead sat back in his chair in order to wait for the counter attack to begin, smirking slightly to himself as he watched the computer come back online.  “Oh. Are we going to play?”, he grinned to himself, picking up his phone and soon dialing in the young ceo’s number. This really did feel more like being an annoyance then anything more extreme but for the moment he was having some fun so he may as well continue on with this weird request.  He laid back against his chair as he waited for his target to answer his phone, turning down the music that had been blaring in the bunker for the majority of the last two days. The plus side of living so far away from others was he could play his music as loudly as he wished and only Vanderwood would complain at times. 

“Hello? Hi hi! We noticed that there was a break in to your security system. We will need to perform a few more tests to make sure that the security is back in place”.

New Lands

@kaibagirl007 Rika slowly stepped out from the sleek black car that had taken her to here, holding a hand up above her eyes as she gazed up at the tall sky scapper that was before her. Oh wow. This place looked even more impressive in person like this. Yip. She had made the right choice to come here, even if some of the others may have been against it. Japan was quite impressive and this sky scraper just added to her impressions. Humming softly, she placed her phone back inside her purse and made her way inside the building, trying not to look too much like a tourest but it was difficult to hide her joy as she wondered inside. Of course she’d been in grand skyscrapers many times before. Perhaps she was simply more joyful about being outside, in a new country, a new city with all types of new possiblities. Oh she couldn’t wait to get started! Smiling, in her natural kind manner, she walked over to the nearby reception desk and handed her I.D over. “Good morning. I have an appointment with Mr Kaiba? I believe I’m about twenty minutes late but I’m more than happy to wait”. She spoke with a confidence that seemed to match her bright appearence even if inside she was quite nervous. Usually she would have asked for V to join her on a visit such as this but he’d been pretty busy with work and she didn’t wish to interupt that. With a small polite bow, she took her seat in the nearby waiting area, pulling her phone back out and logging into the chat room to see how everyone else was doing at the moment, though it seemed as though no one was inside the chatroom at the moment. Hmm. Well perhaps they were off exploring their new surroundings too. Oh well. She’d just need to get through this by herself then.

The evening was going well enough Seto hadn't said to much in regards to the movie and any complaints he may have voiced were things she'd almost expected. Or at least weren't to surprised about.

What was a surprise was that he had taken her up on her earlier comment and joining next to her.

Occaisionally she'd take a small glance to see his reaction. As the movie moved ever closer to the final fight, and thus closer to the end she grew ever more excited.

Although the third was her favourite she wasn't the biggest fan of the villain, while certainly threatening something about him felt a little, well cartoony at times. Maybe it was just his design. But a small thing compared to everything else she loved.

Of course getting it on and maintaining the surprise she'd need to find away to be sneaky considering the Light Fury was right on the menue. She already made sure to put the dvd under the others to avoid him seeing the case.

What time should he arrive? "Um.. I don't know..." She hadn't exactly thought about that when she asked, "Would you like to stay the night?" Her cheeks quite quickly turning rosey as she realized what she asked.

"Ah! I-It just mean it's going to be late. It's a bit of a drive back to Domino isn't it and being New Years I'm sure hotels are will already be full. I-I've already got a spare futon incase Isa stays over," Or if something happens to hers. "But I understand if you'd rather not." She explained rather quickly and more then a bit flustered

Kaiba’s sister.

Ever since being adopted and gaining the last name, it and similar variations had followed her.

In the beginning it had been fun and served of proof of her new found place with a family. She was proud of her brother’s and would happily tell others who they were, with often mixed results. Although eventually becoming known they’d adopted a sister into their family not much more was known as they did their best to keep media attention away from her (and the rest of their personal private life). Probably helped by the fact that except for her magic and overall appearance she was fairly average all things considered.

Regardless it was still a name that tended to raise questions with most able to quickly put two and two together. Making it something of a relief whenever she did meet someone who either didn’t ask about the name or assumed that it was just a coincidence and figured she wasn’t that Kaiba.

It wasn’t that she hated the Kaiba name or her family but as she got older Kisara became more aware of it and everything that came with it.There was the obvious realization of the company itself and how wide spread it was making hearing any mention of the name Kaiba - whether in reference to the person or the company- near inescapable but there was also the subtle way in how she was treated ranging from extreme politeness and formality to total avoidance and everything in between.

The formality while annoying she didn’t mind at first assuming they were just trying to be overly nice due to her technically considered high status even if she couldn’t have cared less about it. But it seemed she was the only one to feel that way with everyone else more interested in the money or whatever it was they hoped to gain through befriending her, maybe they thought being a Kaiba she held some sort of power or say within the company. Which she didn’t nor did she have any interest.

There was also the standards, expectations that came tied with having such an important name. Although neither of them had ever put any pressure on her and really often felt like the only ones who cared for and saw the real her, the feeling was still there.

Kisara may not have desired fame, or to be in the spotlight, but she did/does want to be able to stand on her own. To be seen as her own person and not just ‘ A Kaiba’. or Kaiba’s sister.

A title once taken with pride, held with meaning now stolen, twisted and turned into something meaningless.

Yami glanced at his pacing twin. They were outside an abandoned restaurant in the rundown part of Domino, and while it was abandoned it was the where they needed to be. Aqua was walking back and forth, mumbling to himself.

"Nervous?" He said softly to the younger one. Aqua stopped and looked at him with darkened Ruby. He gave a quiet chuckle.

"T..That obvious? I....just want the chosen family we have to like our bio family. I...want to patch things up with dad...." He said soft while looking down. Yami didn't even come up with a mischievous quip this time around, he hugged his brother tightly. Aqua instantly hugged back for reassurance.

"I know you're scared." Yami started. "But if you taught me anything....Its to be positive. Tonight will go by fine, but it won't be perfect." Aqua listened, started to pull away, but got pulled back.

"Also Seto believes in this too, He has come a long way to want to be with you, learn more about you, and grow with you. Dad would be an idiot to not like him. Hell, Seto may be what he needs to learn to like humans." He mumbled. Aqua's eyes brightened and he hugged tighter.

"Thanks 'Ami..."

"That's what your big brother is for." He said with a sweet smile. Aqua giggled and pulled away before taking out his phone and texting Seto.

Send ’ 🎉 ’ to kiss my muse at midnight on New Years Eve.

It was hard to believe that they had managed to reach this day. He stood in the balcony of the mansion that was his home, a glass of wine in one hand as he gazed up at the bright stars that hung above, a sight that he would never grow tired of. Cold air was pulled into his lungs, a small smile spreading as he heard the telltale sound of a cane tapping against the floor, Atem turning to the side to watch as Seto made his way across the room, commanding as much confidence and strength as ever, despite how weak his body currently was, despite how he needed the aid of a cane to help him walk - he’d given up so much in order to bring the other back to this land of the living and Atem was going his darn hardest to make sure that it hadn’t been done in vain.

“Hey”, he greeted, placing his glass to one side as arms wrapped around his shoulders, a fragile hold than normal but one that grew in strength with each passing day. He and Mokuba would make sure of his recovery, “...sorry I wanted you all to myself”. He closed his eyes, relaxing back against Kaiba’s chest with a happy little sigh. This was where he belonged, where they both belonged. They’d gone through so much together by this stage, through the whole process of Atem wishing to pass, to change his mind, to then being murdered and then Kaiba fighting against all the odds to bring him back - and Kaiba had gotten the short end of that deal. All Atem had to deal with were nightmares to plague his mind most nights and that wasn’t anything new. Kaiba seemed to be getting tested, and he wished he could take on some of that burden.

The chime of a clock from the room behind them allowed the quiet couple to hear as they entered the New Year together, another smile easily forming as pale lips were pressed against dark, Atem wrapping his arms around the other's waist as he stood on the tips of his toes to keep the kiss connected like this, one hand falling down to wrap fingers into his lover’s shirt, a short sigh escaping when they finally pulled back for breath. Kaiba couldn’t look him in the eye, so Atem took in the sight for them both, the flustered way his own breathing was, the smile to crack Kaiba’s lips, the warm colour that flooded their cheeks. Everything about this was perfect. Was something that neither thought that they’d get to experience again - and yet, one more, they’d somehow managed to fight against the odds, to end up here - to get the ending they deserved. “Happy new year, Seto”, he picked up his glass and handed another to Kaiba, tapping the glass together, “Here’s to the future - a future together”

Birthdays were not something that she usually enjoyed to celebrate, though she did her best to at least put an act on for the ask of the others around the date of her birth. To her, it marked a day where the world had become blighted, a day that numbered her mother’s own days but - she sat smiling a little as she read over the short note, hugging the card and tickets close to her chest for a few seconds before she stood and ran off to let the others know she and V were leaving for the weekend! She’d need to thank Seto for this later. @kaibagirl007
