Took a long while; and I can’t believe I made it here!

     I hit 7,000 followers last night...And it’s--kind of amazing...Though I’ll admit that I am sad the majority of them are NOT rp blogs, (I wish they were)...But I’ll take what I can get. eheh. I’m so very thankful for all of you regardless~ Especially as I haven’t been able to interact as much as of late. College. Blegh. Anyhoo~On wif ze show!

Kagome gritted her teeth. InuYasha's elder half-brother had her literally backed in a corner. Was he here to avenge the fact that SHE had been the one to loose the Tessaiga from their father's grave?

She knew he hated humans. And she was definitely human. Her back stiffened at his words. Of course he'd be able to listen to her heartbeat to determine what she was feeling. Damn the Inu DaiYōkai before her.

"I'm not afraid, Sesshōmaru." she said quickly. "I just don't like being backed into a corner. Get away from me."

The demon lord was taking full advantage of their height difference, towering over the strangely-clothed young woman with his imposing presence. Amber eyes, so similar to the hanyou, yet devoid of any warmth, peered straight into her own with invasive scrutiny. He still did not understand... why had Tessaiga unleashed its full form in Inu Yasha’s hand? Because of her? How?

How did she affect his half-sibling? How did she make him stronger? Strong enough to be worthy of their father’s fang?

And how could he make that gift his own?

Maimed of his left arm, he used his right to reach towards Kagome’s face, intending to tilt her chin up for a most direct stare down.

A victim to the blood coursing through his veins, the part of him that would sooner destroy all that lies in his path without prejudice. Even innocence would be deemed an obstacle.                     “If anyone can reach him now.. it’s you. So you must go!”           && as she cries out, weapon flung from heft in pivoting wrist, it soars through the air to claim the lives of chaotic influence. Cleaving through torsos && horn-graced crowns in its passing orbit, claiming the darkness && exposing life force to air && earth. All at the behest of insurmountable will.

The fallen being had planted himself next to a window, leaning up against the sill, one arm draped out it as his head rested in the other hand. He was a listless thing.....not moving much since Kagome had brought him back to the village. Occasionally he'd have scrunched his nose whenever Inu-Yasha or Shippo had gone by.....but he made no movement against them. But then, he'd not make much movement anyways....too lost in whatever was in his head.

Today was no different.....a heavy sigh leaving his form. He hadn't divulged what had happened to him to anyone......after all, how could he? There was nothing for him to do except for waiting for the inevitable.
