Izayoi groaned softly as she was suddenly moved and held in his arms , she laid her head onto his shoulder, arms wrapped around his neck as she sighed softly. ‘ I could’ve walked....you always do know how to surprise me...’ She smiled bashfully kissing his cheek, despite being in pain she was okay enough to give some affection.

‘ I’m fine…I’m use to BRUTES….It doesn’t hurt as much.’

‘ only because I understand them in a way, they have to make a living somehow...’ Izayoi said giving a nod of her head, leaning slightly against him so she didn’t fumble over. 

‘….I know but I am fine they could’ve killed me but didn’t….such a temper my love…’ She held onto his arms gently as he helped her to steady her, her head hurt abit but nothing too serious. 

“…Yer too damn nice, that’s why they think they can get away with this…” He huffs, but seems to calm a little when she steadies. “…Come on, let’s go dress those wounds.”

“But Mother, I can’t let them get away! Look what they did to you!” Still, even though he wanted to go ballistic on those bandits, he stayed by her side and wrapped an arm around her to steady her. “Can you walk?”
