Tumblr appears to have drank a bunch of wolfdog haterade Lately. Hela is a low content wolfdog 37% via Embark. She is fully health and temperament tested and registered with the World of Lupines Foundation. We have a 2021 litter planned with another fully health tested, temperament tested Low content wolfdog who is also registered with W.O.L.F. These Lupine dogs are helping pave the way to better wolfdog breeding and we are SO excited!

Lone Wanderer 🪐 🐾 This week we made the most of the last warm days 🏖 before it gets too cold for extended hiking tours and picnics. And the sun sets too early for long hiking tours in the mountains and forest.🌌 Even if Aron doesn't like to admit that he actually likes it 😝 - like on this picture he prefers to walk as slow as possible behind us.🙄 Because there is always a lot and new things to discover.✨ 🐾 Especially right now, when nature changes so much week after week 🍁, that a place that was so shady and hidden due to the dense canopy of leaves in one, shines brightly in a completely different light in the next.😮 In the hunt for beautiful images, this is both a challenge and a charm 😶 because on the one hand, there is a beautiful spectacle of colors 🍂 in nature, but on the other hand, it is quickly ephemeral and there is only a short time window 🏃💨 to capture this, in which everything must work out.📸 🐾 And well, admittedly: I've also often missed that, because then I did not necessarily, especially when the winds blew cold, had the desire to go back the next day again.😴 But then... it was often too late. Ivar still lets me use him as a pillow on hikes. He ADORES affection from me (and other people he trusts), often butting his head under my hand for pets, or leaning against my legs and then keeling over at my feet for belly rubs. When we’re chilling out for breaks on hikes, he lays down and lets me use him as a pillow, and if I move away from him, he’ll scoot himself closer again. On camping trips, when he sleeps in a tent with me, he rests his head on my chest and even if I roll over, he nudges himself into some absurd position to get as cuddly with me as possible. Despite this close bond, wolfdogs are not typically good pets for the majority of people, largely because they are so difficult to care for! You can learn more at www.packwestwolfdogs.com
