Is Peter okay? No, Peter wasn't okay. He had been missing for a few days, some even thought that Spider-Man had died or been kidnapped, but no, he had just locked himself in his apartment.

He felt it everywhere. He saw him everywhere. In his dreams, on his patrol, and even inside his house.

But that couldn't be, of course?... Mysterio was dead.

Quentin Beck is dead.

So why wasn't Peter at peace?

Why was he still chasing Parker?

So that's how it was, he stopped in front of Kairos' house. He was a total mess. He was just wearing pants and a random sweatshirt, and... From his expression, and all the dark circles under his 8 eyes, it looked like Peter hadn't slept in months.

He really wasn't well.

And during that time, Kairos had been panicked. Had his friend died? Had the only person he’d wanted to let in gotten killed in action? There was no way. And that didn’t stop him from having searched like hell, staying up until ungodly hours. Hacking into security cameras, cracking fire walls, checking hospital registries and morgues.

He slammed a hand into his wall. “Dammit!” A rush of electricity crackling through his body. His breathing was ragged now, his face angered. “Pathetic! You can’t even—“ he looked outside the window. Was that… Peter?

He scrambled down the stairs, opening the door when he was down there. He looked a mess too, his hair a mess. His arms didn’t have sleeves like normal, nor did it have bandages. His arms were burned, lighting-shaped scars streaking down his forearms and pulsating an electric blue— same as his eyes. His eyes were glowing brighter than before.

Yet that didn’t stop him from rushing forward and pulling him into a hug. He hated touch, he feared hurting people. And electricity passed onto Peter, zapping him, but he didn’t let go.
