Torn between playing rythm games and drawing

I've been fighting the urge to play rythm games for months now cuz the ones on my phone all need to update ;-;

This is literally my new favourite thing ever.

Holy mother of god i am in love with this beauty of a console pc handheld beast. This can play any game that i want, when i want, where i want. No strings attached, no bullshit, just raw gaming. One moment i could be playing Red Dead Redemption 2 at 40 to 60fps, and then jump into Project Diva or play Batman on the god damn NES.

Despite the Steam Deck being behind other pc handhelds that run Windows specs wise, the Steam Deck still destroys them and is the most successful one because of how optimised the OS is and how simple it is to just get into a game and play. You don't need to deal with the bloat and massive swarm of updates on Windows because you're running a version of Linux. Everything feels incredibly optimised for the deck, even non verified games work like a charm on the deck. (Well, most of em.) The unsupported tag can sometimes be half true in that some games, their online modes don't work such as GTA 5 and Ghost of Tsushima, yet their single player modes work fine and run really well on the deck. Make sure to always look up a game you wanna play on the deck to see if it can actually run on it or not, Valve's requirements can be VERY strict.

Also you can customise the FUCK out of this bad boy when you get Decky. From the boot animation, the ui, the theme, the sound effects, the colours, the suspend animation, the suspend animation that plays when you're in game. It is... so goodddd...

I need you guys to see this.

If that doesn't convince you to get a Steam Deck then I dont know what will.

Also for those wondering, yes it can run Switch games, no i have not tried it because i don't need to and i don't have a way to backup my Switch games.

"Why not pirate them?" The Switch is a console that's still being made today, it's game are still being produced and the developers can get money from me purchasing their games, I am not pirating them cause it's just wrong on a moral level.

But older consoles? HELL YEAH I WILL! If Rockstar games aren't gonna sell me the original versions of the GTA trilogy then I'm gonna have to do what I have to do, you know? Splatoon 1 isn't being sold anymore and will never come back, so i gotta do what I gotta do.

ooh thats actually suuuuch a good question! so originally i just played the psp/ps vita DIVA games, but one of the reasons im getting so into them again is my christmas present to myself is the PC megamix port and a fighting game controller for rhythm games!

(for those unaware, these are basically videogame controllers that use keyboard switches, which have rly low travel time)

i specifically got one of these cause i wanna use it for EVERY rhythm game i like - the layout is perfect for 9-button pop'n too!! im even gonna try a funky setup for guitar/clone hero where the up and down buttons emulate the strumming, though i do still have my actual wii guitar hero guitars too! theyre just a bit more cumbersome to set up :3

i also have an original PSX Pop'n Music controller! Though sadly it doesn't work as a pc controller, the way playstation pop'n controllers function as actual controllers are really weird, at least if u use a pc adapter, some of the right buttons register as holding the right analogue stick down when theyre unpressed, it also costed an ABSURD amount like $70+, but it came with Pop'n 1 and 2 for PSX so i cant complain :3

So uh, ProSeka Royal Scandal AU?

I've had this idea for a year or two now? But never really did much with it. Mostly due to lacking motivation and time constraints, but I wanna write this down somewhere before I forget it. I thought, "Eh... I have a Tumblr account now, why not use it?"

So here it is, a detailed list of things about my Project Sekai Royal Scandal AU!

CW: heavily suggested TouKasa (this is specifically for the Touya Tenma hc havers)

The whole inception of this AU started with the thought, "Proseka RoySca collab when??" Then cut to 2 hours later, and suddenly I have an AU I just made. With some characters assigned, here are those roles.

1. "Chelsea" / Alicia - Tsukasa & Saki

Saki Tenma, known as "Stella" to patrons, Bar Masquerade's Golden Diva. Tsukasa Tenma, known as "Sirius", an accompanist who plays piano when Stella is on stage

It all started from the "Chelsea" MV, this one MV and my desire to make a TouKasa fic based off of it. It fits well, don't you think? Which then expanded more and more and now I have this...

Originally, Tsukasa was supposed to be the only Chelsea, because why would I need two characters to fill in one role? And this was fine until I had to think about who would be best as Rosetta. And thinking about it more, the gender difference is just, too big of difference to ignore entirely or try to work around. So I shifted the roles a bit and landed with Saki also being Chelsea.

This makes it so that Tsukasa covers more of the romance between Chelsea and Lewis (with mv's like "Bitter Sweet", "Chelsea", and the like). While Saki covers Chelsea's job as a diva and her relationship with Rosetta (REVOLVER and BULLET).

2. Lewis - Touya

Again, all of this started as a TouKasa AU, of course I had to! It's pretty self explanatory as well, Tsukasa-Touya childhood friends? So are Lewis and Chelsea, the MV for Chelsea is also gorgeous and just, pretty fitting for what I have in mind for TouKasa.

3. Rosetta - Ena

I remember it took me a while to actually decide who would be fit to be casted as Rosetta, mainly because most of the Proseka cast are too nice to attempt a murder against a former friend. I started with Shizuku because she's one of the only few childhood friend character that has a connection with Tsukasa, but immediately backtracked because (although I can kinda see it) I don't think that's something that Shizuku would do.

So I picked Ena instead. Her general attitude and personality is perfect for her to be casted as Rosetta, especially with the plotline of her getting jealous of Chelsea because of her popularity as the Red Diva (and also, shitty dad). And I had already thought of putting the next character as Sven first before putting someone as Rosetta, so that helped with the picking process as well.

4. Sven - Mafuyu

Yeah, this one is very self-explanatory. In BULLET, we get to see a sliver of Sven's childhood and its.... bad. He lived his life as a doll with no emotions or control for himself, being controlled by his parents with no regard of self-expression, sounds familiar?

5. Prince Albert - Rui

And this one is also very obvious. With Tsukasa filling in as Chelsea for more of the romance in RoySca, it only makes sense that I make Rui be Albert.

6. Other character's (Side charas and Antagonists)

Lightning Round! Just a few thoughts that are in consideration, but I quite like it so I'm putting it on the list.

a.) Olivia and Alam - Kohane and Akito

As you can see, I actually do have some characters I've casted for Olivia and Alam, but this is still put in consideration because... Was there a reason for me to cast Kohane and Akito as Olivia and Alam? No, nothing really valid honestly, I kinda just ran out of characters from the main cast to use (and the fact that I also really like AkiKoha). Besides, Akito being all love struck and Kohane pulling out a gun would be pathetic and cool (respectively), right?

b.) Aylmer

WE KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS BOY!!!! The only few things we do know of him are from a few cameos he had in some mvs (notably Bitter Sweet, where he looked really scared when Rosetta pulled out a glass bottle to attack Albert with) and his character info on the RoySca website.

Despite that though, I am thinking about putting Honami as Aylmer, based off of what we have

c.) Lilian, Kevin, and Rebecca (and Bar Masquerade overall)

I had landed with Ken-san as Kevin and an older than the main cast An as Lilian, just to help fill the roster with more Project Seki characters. But that leaves Rebecca still empty, and honestly, I don't know.

d.) Matt, Harvey, and Catherine

I'm kinda playing around with the thought that maybe the Virtual Singers can be the antagonists. The ones I have in mind are Miku as Catherine, KAITO as Matt, and Len as Harvey. I don't know about who the rest could be though...

GANGSTA

I've watched this anime early March or April this year and it is really good! The storyline is very interesting for an anime that was released in 2015 with only 1 season with 12 episodes. It also has diversity! Showing rather accurate looking dark skinned characters! And also showing mixed races!

My most favorite character from the anime is Nicolas Brown. He's a very interesting character and the representation of him being deaf is really realistic, it also surprised me when Worick mentioned he was half asian in episode 5 but it was also so cool to me, his and Worick's backstories were really sad but also interesting to watch, I also loved how the JP va of Tristan from 7DS: Grudge of Edinburgh voiced the young version of Worick. I was also very surprised when I found out Nicolas was also voiced by the JP VA of Nanami (Kenjiro Tsuda) from Jujustu Kaisen!

Another character I like is Cody Balfour, he's so cute and shy I wanna place him into my pocket, he doesn't show up much in the show nor manga but he is very cute I love him, Cody my son :')

Another Character I like is Emilio, he is a rather interesting character since he has black and Chinese heritage, but I feel bad for him since he just wants to have the destroyers help him find Alex who is his older sister but is watching twilights get killed left and right. And its sad how in chapter 38-39 he thinks his sister is dead since the bastard was attacked, my poor child needs a therapist :(

Nanatsu no taizai

I loved this show from when I was about 10 years old which was 3 years ago! My twin brother got me into the anime and I'm very grateful he got me into it. It is such an interesting show and I always and I mean always would talk positively about the show.

I love Estarossa and Mael, their both interesting characters and thats what I love about them! The way Estarossa was first shown in the anime and manga was just a big game changer for me, I just fell in love with him, I also got spoiled from manga images on google when I searched them up to look at Estarossa panels on my tablet which sounds weird but ay, you gotta do what you gotta do, I also already knew that Estarossa was Mael from manga panels but I found it so cool and always admired both of them, my little brain filled with stuff about them and I wouldn't stop thinking about them. I love them both equally!

I also like Dubs and Daliah from Cursed By Light, when they got introduced I thought it was very interesting as we never got to see another giant that was human sized like Diane and never got to see a fairy with an athletic build, but they both were such interesting and I always rewatched the movie, also for some reason I thought they died because I would randomly stop watching the movie and when I realised they were alive in Meliodas and Elizabeth's wedding scene, I just was like "I'm a dumbass lol"

this was one of the big parts of my childhood and what got me into making SynthV covers and songs, I remember playing Project Diva Future Tone on my PS4 always playing Weekender Girl and Out of the Gravity, but their not gonna count as the first songs I listened to, the first vocaloid song I listened to was either Rolling Girl from Wowaka(Rest in peace, you will be missed Wowaka) or Common World Domination by Pinocchio-p who is currently my favourite Vocaloid producer, fun fact I always pronounced Pinocchio-p's name wrong and pronounced it as Pino-cho-p :')

PS5 Games I haven’t beaten and why

FF7 rebirth - I got to the golden saucer shortly after getting my PS5 and got burnt out because I had so many other games to play, I thought it made sense to pause halfway through and return. Getting close to being ready to dive back in. I find the open world stuff kind of disappointing compared to Remake. I love queens gambit though!

Cyberpunk 2077 - got past meeting Jonny. Just a big big game. I enjoyed my time with it already but just had other stuff take my attention away.

Dave the diver - I want to like this but I struggle with food service games and then I’m not even good at the diving stuff either

Animal well - I had the wrong expectations for this game. I got a handful of items but then got lost and now the longer I go, the more unapproachable it feels to return to

Hatsune miku diva project X - actively blasting through this. I really enjoy a rhythm game with pseudo lite RPG elements so let me know if there’s any others like this aside from the final fantasy and kingdom hearts ones because I love those too

Returnal - it’s hard :((((( I’ve reached the sixth biome a couple times but I’ve had too many deaths that don’t feel like they’re a skill issue on my part. I really like this game but I’m used to something like Hades or Isaac where I know what I did wrong

Metaphor refantazio - this was a super cool Christmas gift given to me and it looks awesome but RPG’s scare me. I feel like I should bear rebirth first.

Last of us 2 - actively playing this and really enjoying it. I did just replay last of us 1 to prepare which I think was smart

Demons souls - I love fromsoft and this looks and feels amazing but I kept getting too scared to play more

Moving out 1/2 - doing 1 coop when it got taken off the collection so I bought 2 and it’s pretty fun so far

Tomb raider 1-3 remastered - I was gonna beat every tomb Raider back to back like I like to do with whole series but YIKES I am bad at this first game so I think I’m gonna skip to the recent 2013 reboot trilogy and then work my way backwards if I want more after that

Space marine 2 - okay I own this on pc but I’m playing with a Dualsense and I like it, just keep getting distracted

Sonic superstars - I actually low key like this game decently in single player but it’s borderline unplayable multiplayer. And I’m stuck on a boss fight.

RE8 - haven’t booted up yet but own

Kena - really enjoyed the tutorial! I wanna play this as a warmup for stellar blade

Stellar Blade - amazing graphics and I’m told it’s good, I own physically

Dredge - love a lot about this game but I’m in the second major area now and annoying stuff keeps dragging me down so I put it down

lost and found- 6/10. really pretty song tbh!! if i hadn’t played it so much before it’d be higher. its a longer song though which means i have to suffer through it more but even then i dont mind playing it i do like this song. would i listen to it outside of pjsk tiering? no probably not but its not the songs fault its just that i’ve had to hear it too much but compared to envy? literal sound of angels above

hatsune miku creation myth- 7/10. i used to listen to this song actually!! i actually don’t know how much of a tiering song this is though. but either way i dont mind it!! its a fun chart and i really wanna fc it on expert sometime again. its just Very Fucking Long also. so im glad it doesn’t come up that much bc i think i would also go insane with this song eventually

melt - 8/10. i got tired of this one a while ago but then i started playing project dive and its grown on me since then. i also dont play this one as much i’ve noticed so i have more appreciation for it now its not that bad. also really satisfying to get that one bit at the end right.

jackpot sad girl- 7/10. this ones more for challenge shows i believe as are the next ones too. anyway i like this mafuyu comm a lot. i dont like the beginning of the master chart though its kinda annoying for me at least. dont have much to say though

viva happy- 6/10. see its really nice to have a change of pace (cause ive been doing nothing but envy or jackpot sad girl for challenge shows when i tier) but this one sounds like one that could get on my nerves pretty fast. but it hasn’t done that yet so it doesn’t get a bad rating. viva viva happy!! turututu <3

MY VIRTUAL SINGER SONG TIMELINE

I wanna make this as a little story about my earliest connections to Vocaloid/Virtual Singers and how it all led me to loving them.

#1 Nyanyanyanyanyanyanya!

Without a doubt, this was the first. All those YouTube videos and internet memes, it was the "Nyan Cat song" of course! But... in reality, it was actually a Miku song, but super sped up. I and many others wouldn't know, so my jaw DROPPED when a friend hovered over the song in Project DIVA, but that wouldn't be until much later. While this wasn't my true start, it would be a long journey.

#2 Senbonzakura and LOL – Lots of Laugh –

Maaany years later, and here I am! My first actual exposure to Hatsune Miku! I'd download a ton of 3DS demos to play, and Project Mirai was one of them. These two would be burned into my mind forever. I even remember going out of my way and searching them up on YouTube, and being amazed by the visuals on arcade/PS4!! I now understood the most basic concept of Miku; someone who sings. I don't remember why I liked this though. I must have seen it as a cute game, with cute songs and fun visuals. But, that would be it. I'd eventually delete the demo, forget about the songs, and move on... but not before...

#3 Kagerou Daze

The first song I encountered on my own! I discovered it while looking at videos of Senbonzakura and LOL, so this was around the same time as that. It was this animated one in particular that I saw the most! I believe I did see the Project DIVA music video, too. I just found myself so enthralled by this, it was so different from the cutesy songs I was just listening to. It was such a heavy feeling song, but the pacing made it so fun to listen to. A feeling that would return later... I listened to these 3 songs a lot, but yeah, I just stopped and didn't really bother looking for more.

#4 Tokyo Teddy Bear

Once again, more years would pass, but this was it. I was having a VRChat session with friends, and one of them put on some virtual singer songs. I didn't really care or pay any attention to them, and just chatted or drew. That is until they put Tokyo Teddy Bear, the Kasane Teto cover. I completely stopped what I was doing and just stared. It was like my friend's voices disappeared and all I could see and hear was this song... and it's visuals. And when it ended, I asked my friend to play it again, and again. It was kind of funny, as they pointed out how I looked just standing still and staring. He showed me some other Teto songs, like Teto Territory and that Fukkireta song.

Afterwards...

I was OBSESSED with Teto. My PFP, reaction gifs I'd send, and non-stop talking for about a week straight. I was so happy to find something I liked this much. And that's when my friend showed me Project DIVA Mega Mix+!! I've come full circle. From there I liked even MORE songs, and after a day or two of him showing me the game, I bought it alongside the DLC, and bam. Vocaloid/Virtual Singer lover forever. Got Project SEKAI, downloaded Project DIVA and Mirai on my PS Vita and 3DS, and got a few merchandise.

I've never felt this obsessed with something in a long while, I think my last thing was Persona 3 back in high school. It's really fun though!! Listening and finding all sorts of new music, seeing the music videos, building my playlist, sharing it with others. I definitely skimmed through a bit, but music means a lot to me. And this form of music is just so amazing to me, a near endless supply of songs to listen to. It makes me so happy. Even the most depressing songs make me happy, because I have something to listen and connect to when I'm down. I love using music as a coping skill !!!!!!

VBS and KAITO So youtube keeps putting this in the queue when I play music from it and I do like it but it's not the full cover bc it doesn't exist yet (but its only missing like 20 seconds of the song so its almost the full song) but I find this song fun to play on project sekai. It's kinda sad I already full combo'd it on Master bc I dont have a good excuse to always play it but I do it anyway. The flick near the end that makes the beat map stop to the beat and then it starts up again is so fun and so satisfying when you get the timing down

Currently reading: Doughnuts Under the Crescent Moon by Shio Usui It's a really cute story about two women who despite their flaws find comfort in each other and develop feelings for one another as they learn about each other and themselves. The interesting thing for me that I wanna bring up is I bought all four volumes from barnes and noble and all the volumes are a bit bigger than you usual manga (they are 5.9 x 0.5 x 8.25in as opposed to something like 5 x 0.7 x 7.13 in) and they have a shiny finish over the characters, title and text and a matte finish over the background. However, volumes 1, 3 and 4 have the same weight as your standard manga with lightweight slightly off white page color for them whereas volume 2 uses heavy, white paper like its the kind of treatment id expect for either the first volume or last volume of the series, not the second volume. I'm not complaining it's just odd.

Currently watching: Whenever I draw, I put on Death Note as background noise and I've done it often enough where when I hear it, I get the urge to draw more so than usual. I've re watched it so much I've noticed things I had noticed before the first few times I've watched it like the passage Light reads in like episode 1 or 2 is connected to his feelings in episode 26.

Current obsession: I like making origami stars and filling jars of them. It gives my hands something to do while I'm watching something. But now I have so many jars of them and I wanna give them away but i dont know who would want them. I also like playing rhythm games sometimes ill get the urge to play project diva or groove coaster and just play them into the night.

Okay so my boyfriend has a playlist of like 800 songs from a bunch of different genres and artists (because youtube mashed his individual playlists together) from Primus to Simon & Garfunkel to Animal Collective to Bosnian folk war songs, so I've been going through and picking the ones that I like and put them in a playlist that we can listen to in the car that isn't huge and we have to skip half the songs. (lol let me know if you wanna see it)

Currently reading: Imagine reading. I haven't read in years and I hate audio books because I just tune them out. I guess I've been reading Oshi no Ko since the first season ended, but like novel wise I have Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer and Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir (since I loved reading the Martin in high school).

Current obsession: Boy howdy do I like crocheting. Right now I'm working on a vest but after that me and one of my friends are going to go to Rhinebeck for the Wool Festival where a bunch of knitters and crocheters go since they sell yarn there. But infamously for Rhinebeck is the Rhinebeck Sweater, which is a sweater that you make specifically for the festival, so I'll be working on that next. Also it's still pretty empty, but my instagram for crafts is @ekotts_krafts if you wanna see what I'm making. I also love rhythm games, so I've been playing SIF2 (which is dog shit unfortunately), Wonder Dai Star literally came out yesterday but I'm playing that, and I've opened D4DJ and Project Sekai recently, but not too much actual playing. Of course I'm always obsessed with Chuchu, my Lord and Savior. I've literally bough yarn and nail polish and stuff because it reminded me of her. Speaking of, nail polish is another thing I've been into recently. I've been ordering from indie polish makers on Polish Pickup, which has a theme every month. They put up the polishes to look at the week before they go live for sale (the first weekend of the month) and then you have that weekend to order.

games ive played in 2022, ranked from least to most favourite:

11: hollow knight (2017)

(i cant find a good gif for this one sorry 🥺)

i tried so hard to like this game. i should like it. its got bugs. its got atmosphere. its got worldbuilding and multiple endings. but god i hate platformers. i hate metroidvanias. this was painful to play and i will not be playing any more.

10: project diva future tone (ps4) (2017)

its a rhythm game so it really cant go any higher. i like it more than megamix (plus using the playstation is better than the switch i think) but yknow. i cant say its got great characters or story yknow? but the songs are good and its fun

9: final fantasy x (2001, switch remaster 2019)

i wish i liked this game more… its good but so watery. such old graphics. idk i just couldnt get into it even if the ending was really good

8. tales of phantasia (1995, gba version 2006)

very surprised at how well it holds up. its a tales game so it ranks higher than it probably should for me, but the characters are fun, the gameplay is fun, and its the first game in the series, so its iconic as hell. the old graphics and lacklustre combat knocked it down a few points (as did the goddamn mines…) but the enjoyment i got from it won out. good game. i played the gba version

7. splatoon 3 (2022)

sorry for not playing the other splatoon games this shit is FUN. salmon run is so good, yall. i put more hours into salmon run alone than most other games ive ever played. stream deep cut

6. ys viii (2017)

im actually still playing this one but MAN is it enjoyable. killer soundtrack. cool time mechanics. challenging combat. nice well rounded cast of npcs (and theres like 20+ regular ones!). makes me wanna try the rest of the series. even tho im kinda peeved that theres like no content for this game here but WHATEVER its good. play ys viii.

5. pokemon scarlet (2022)

yes it had bugs & ur correct to say i shouldnt have bought it. but theyve really perfected pokemon games with this one. open world is the way pokemon is meant to be played. the new pokemon are really good designs. the story was actually riveting at the end, the rivals are up there with sun and sword for how well done they are, koraidon’s one of my new faves, and holy god the soundtrack is good. the literal only thing that would improve it would be if it had a bigger dex and wasnt made in such a rush. i wish this game had come out next year or the year after bc then itd be perfect.

4. triangle strategy (2022)

this is the first strategy game in the genre that ive played, and i enjoyed it! i played it 3 times in a row to get all the endings + ramping up the difficulty made it such a good challenge. npcs couldve been a bit better developed, and the roland/benedict endings were bad to play, but the overall enjoyment of the gameplay and different paths puts it so high to the top.

3. pokemon legends arceus (2022)

i know i said scarlet perfected the series but whatever. ive always preferred catching to battling and arceus did a better job of that. between that and the way your character could actually get involved in things its probably my fave pokemon game ever ehehe 😅

2. tales of arise (2021)

i dont care what anyone says this was a REALLY good entry to the series. i liked the story and the twists. i loved the characters. combat was excellent (law main ↖️) and exploration was more fun than other tales games. might not be my favourite tales game but its better than (almost) everything else from this year!

1. tales of the abyss (2005, 3ds version 2012)

I LOVE THIS GAME. IF YOU HAVENT PLAYED THIS GAME YOUR LIFE WILL BE IMPROVED BY PLAYING THIS GAME. its about identity and tragedy and legacy and remembering the past and respecting the present and growing to care for yourself and your loved ones. its about herding rappigs and falling out of landships and going WHY ARE YOU ME. IM ME. it made me cry. its one of the best tales combat systems. why are you still reading this go play tales of the abyss.

I don't know what this is. This is the only thing in the document:

The luminescence of the stars filled the sky, a gentle light that comforted and inspired. Zhongli loved the night sky, and found peace and solace in it's beauty.

The document was last updated on February 9th of last year so god knows what the hell it was about. Lantern Rite? I don't remember.

Matchmaking

What I can only assume was a planned sequel to Dense as a Rock but told through Hu Tao’s point of view. Probably was supposed to be, but the writing on this is kind of meh? Like all that happened was Hu Tao complaining about paperwork then Lumine wanted to go to a domain where she would eventually find the blueprint for the key to Zhongli’s dumbbell.

Monday's Melancholy

A document with no words but was planned to be a Tears of Themis AU where Rosa was an idol and was looking for Luke and ended up turning to Mister Wing for assistance in her search.

Then Raven joins the NXX and things get weird from there.

It was an AU thing where Celestine and Kiki were also in the NXX and Kiki developed feelings for Raven at some point but Wangsheng has basically taken all my writing energy away from me whoops.

Can only handle one longfic at a time.

Head in the Game

A planned Tears of Themis anniversary fic where Rosa has inferiority complex towards Mister Wing and sits and cries while playing a mix of Hatsune Miku Project Diva and Hatsune Miku Colorful Stage.

It has some words but uhhhh here's a snippit:

Hatsune Miku: Sekai Diva. That would clear her head. The rthymn game series that Rosa had played since she was a child. Whenever she would get stressed about something, she would play the game, and her stress would replace her worries with a round of concentration.

So those are words that exist.

Birthday ask

A birthday ask I didn't answer because life sucks and sometimes the wifi just doesn't work and then suddenly the house you cleaned during your birthday gets wiped away in a hurricane and I don't wanna think about this ask I'm sorry I know the person who sent it meant well and I actually have an interesting premise for it and it's somewhat developed but I really don't wanna think about the last time I would ever get to hang out in my grandma's house. ;-;

Scrapped Alberose fic where they talked about books or some shit. Can't remember the premise other than it must have been some college/high school AU. Here's some words though.

But there was simply something different about how her classmates in front of her just admired pages as if they were simply art pieces to be looked at for a mere thirty-six seconds before flipping the page to of his book. Sucrose had watched Albedo go through at least three books in the past weeks. What they were about, she couldn't remember. All she knew was that Albedo was extremely talented in his academics and yet he still had time to read in class as if he never studied at all.

Aurora's Light

Scrapped royal AU fic where Rosa was destined to wake the king of Stellis with a kiss. In order to get out of an arranged marriage with Duke Marius, Rosa runs away with her childhood friend Luke to live out in a forest cottage for a few years until vines start taking over the forest. The two basically journey to the castle and beat up a dragon.

There's nothing in this document either. Lovely!

The Duke and the Editors Apprentice

This was a royal modern AU where Lumine works as an apprentice underneath Yae Miko. Miko was gonna set Ayato and Lumine up on a date or something. I don't remember but it was apparently a longfic. Whoops.

Sorry Wangsheng you took over my life.

It wasn't that she didn't like her boss. It was far from the truth; Lumine loved having the opportunity to work under Yae Miko as her secretary and apprentice, but it was certainly not easy. What the public didn't know about Miko was that she was crafty as a fox, always seeming to be planning something or another. Just last week she had managed to create a new persona for a member of an advice column and subjected one of the generals from the army to adapt to it. Lumine was used to Miko's schemes by now, but it didn't make work any less stressful.

The Stoney-Faced Emporer and the Starry-Eyed Princess

Another longfic. Royalty AU with Aether forcing Lumine to attend a ball and to at least consider the Emporer of Liyue as a proper suitor for her.

What I like about this one, other than the fact it has two pages (two! of a wip!), I like the idea of a romcom of Zhongli really playing into a stotic ruler and Lumine wants nothing to do with ruling type things. It's a pretty interesting dynamic I had.

Too bad it's gonna rot in WIP he'll.

Regardless of if that thought had even cross Aether's mind, there were pressing issues at hand that Lumine needed to deal with. She looked at herself in the mirror while one of her retainers, Noelle fixed her hair in time for the ballntonight. How her brother was even able to convince her to go was beyond Lumine's knowledge, but she knew that for the rest of the week, she was resigning herself to the fate of suitors asking to court her, or even worse, marry her.

I have a lot more WIPs but they're over a year old and I don't wanna go back any farther and force myself to read my old writing! I hope you like what I have in my wips that got left in 2022 though.

So now I get to force a couple people to go through wip hell with me! @peachiecure and @mottomottoprecure (don't remember if you have a tumblr that isn't your fanseries account but if you do whoops I forgot it) it's your turn to go through wip hell. :)

PROJECT DIVA :) tl;dr its a rhythm game but with hatsune miku yay!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was actually one of my special interests kinda around 2018-2021!!!!! idk why i never rlly mention it on tumblr :P its just never come up i guess. I havent played in a while but i can do up to 9 stars on EXEX or 9.5s on EX!!! just cuz anything above that is way too much 4 me to process XD. ive played a FEW other rhythm games other than diva and rhythm heaven but nothing really scratches that itch like diva does yknow!!! also being able to change the outfits is SUCH a good gimmick to me sorry gamers. i spend way too fuckin long on the module selection screen every time im gonna play a song dude!!!! its so fun though X] one issue i have with the series is that the MVs in the earlier games, ESPECIALLY f2nd looked WAY BETTER!!!!!!! they were just so much more colorful and lifelike!!! also you could see mikus nose and the stupid toon shader, which you CANT TURN OFF in megamix, looks super ugly!!!! but also whatever cuz i can design funny shirts ^_^ yippee

my favorite module is urban pop (miku) and some of my other favs are: lab girl (miku), meteorite (miku), m.s.j. GIRL , I PLAY A LOT OF VIDJA GAMES . n- not as hard as before , but i try to play when i get the chance or free time from work ! i really enjoy a story based and chill games the most like : Bravely Default series , Octopath Traveler, Pokemon , Final Fantasy , Persona , Kingdom Hurts , Tales of ( duh ! Vesperia is my favorite btw //finger guns at your yuri who is actually my tales of crush www. ) , etc . Rythm games are my jam too like : Project Diva and Deemo ! - but i love - otome games the most , oh my god - there’s a whole list of them i cannot decide . i just wanna stay home and lay on my bed and date some 2d hotties and feel that fluffy fuwas and dokis , you know ??? i know there’s more games out there i forgot to mention but i forgot, i cry - lastly, My favorite game of all time would be Odin Sphere .
