Decided my new catch phrase will be "become as dust on the wind" and I will use it whenever I am frustrated at things to sound like both a fantasy wizard and a massive nerd. I think life needs more fantasy-style curses instead of just telling people to kill themselves, y'know?
#plus it's so calming telling myself to become as dust on the wind instead of kys whenever I'm frustrated at myself#really helps descalate things#(I'm heavily against the current trend of throwing around kys so lightly but unfortunately. that does not stop a certain part of my brain#from using it at me whenever I get slightly annoyed at myself)#from my very own mouth

Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Last
Reader Description: Masculine style, They/He, AFAB, International Student, 20 Years Old. Sometimes will be describe using masculine terms (man, boy, handsome, etc)
Pairings: Wanda Maximoff x InternationalStudent!Reader
Warnings 18+: Specified age gap (Wanda is 34), NFSW, Mommy kink, Submissive!Reader, Wanda receiving, Praise kink, PowerBottom!Wanda 🤭 (lmk if i miss smthn)
Summary: Wanda hires Y/n once again because her coffee machine needed fixing. On top of that, she finally gets what she wants. Y/n is more than happy to accommodate Wanda's needs.
Wanda hears her doorbell rings, she walks over to the person she's been waiting for all day. When she opens it, she was greeted with Y/n and that puppy looking grin of theirs. Christ, she really couldn't wait use them to her liking.
"Y/n! So glad you could make it."
"Of course, Mrs. Maximoff! Can't let down my favorite client." He joked, Wanda lets him in and leads him to her coffee machine.
"There's the machine. I can't figure out what's wrong with it, it seems like it's all clogged up. I use it from time to time, but my husband is the one who uses it the most." Lies, she knew what was wrong with it. It just needed a simple cleaning chemical. She was just using this as an excuse to be around them.
Y/n approached the machine and inspected it, it was the same machine he had back home. The machine was thankfully already turned on and he noticed the descale sign was on. When they pressed the brewing button, just as Wanda said, clogged up.
"I think this just needs a simple cleaning maintenance, Mrs. Maximoff. Where do you put your chemicals?" He turned to face her.
Wanda smirked slightly, slowly approaching them. Their breath hitched, suddenly Wanda got on her tiptoe to open the cabinet behind them just above their head. "It's right here darling." She handed him the cleaning chemicals.
"T-thank you." Fucking hell she was driving them crazy.
"You're welcome."
Y/n then started the cleaning procedure, he could feel her eyes on him. Wanda shamelessly watched as he does whatever the hell he needed. Leaning against the counter while crossing her arms. Y/n then runs the cleaning cycle and let it do it's thing.
"Now we just wait." They said with a smile.
"That we do." She then leaned a little closer. "I just wanted to say, thank you for helping me around the house." Her voice was slightly heavier and flirty. She rest her hand on top of their. "I really appreciate it."
"O-oh it's nothing, Mrs. Maximoff-"
"Please, call me Wanda." She gave him a flirty smile. Fuck.
"Of course, Wanda." God she loves the way her name sounds coming out from their mouth.
Tension between them was very thick, Y/n couldn't help but feel so attracted to the married woman. But he had to smack himself in the head, reminding himself that she already has someone. They pulled their hand and scratch the back of their neck.
"So how's your boys?" They tried to steer the atmosphere.
Wanda lets out a small laugh, "They're fine. The boys are having sleepovers with their friends." She leaned a little closer, "And I'm all by my lonesome." Her voice were very seductive, at this point even the oblivious Y/n noticed.
"W- won't uh" They cleared their throat, Wanda's smirk got wider. "Won't your husband be home?"
"Oh he's never home, always on a business trip."
Y/n's eyes soften at that. "That's a shame."
"It certainly is." She sighed. "I wish someone could keep me company."
"Maybe you could call up a friend?"
Wanda gave him a mischievous smile, while staring at intently. "I meant a different type of company, dear."
Y/n swallowed the lump on their throat. Before Wanda could continue, the machine beeped. Indicating the cleaning cycle was done. Y/n averted their gaze and focuses on the machine again. They did the next procedure of cleaning out all the excess chemicals. After a few minutes the machine was cleaned, water pressure was normal again, and it was ready for use.
"All done, Ma'am." They beamed at her, Wanda was slightly disappointed that it was faster than she had expected. "And free of charge, this was a simple cleaning job."
"Oh Y/n, I can't possibly do that."
"I insist, you've been a great help. I wouldn't be able to save up so much money and also get a job without you." Their eyes were genuine, another idea popped up in her head.
"Well, how about you teach me how to make a proper coffee? That way I can still pay you."
"Mrs. Maximoff I-"
"Y/n..." Wanda took a step closer to them. "I'm not taking no for an answer." They really don't know if it was the authoritative tone in her voice, or their mommy issues, but it was certainly turning them on.
"I- yes, Mrs. Maximoff." God she loves how quickly he falls at her feet, she can't help but think how submissive he gets when she finally has her ways. The thought itself was making the ache between her legs unbearable.
"And for the record, It's Wanda. You remember, don't you dear?" She stepped into their personal space, putting a gentle hand on their chin while tilting her head.
"Of course, Wanda."
"Good. Shall we?" She smirked at their nervous state and turned around to face the machine. She took the portafilter and filled it with coffee grounds. "My problem is mainly on tamping, could you help with that?"
Y/n snapped out of their trance, "Yes! Of course uh... So I'm guessing you're either tamping too hard or not enough?"
"Precisely." After evening the grounds, she took a tamper and looked back at him with a devilish smile. "Care to give me a hands-on demonstration?"
"Right." They stepped closer behind her, before they wrapped their hands to guide Wanda's. They asked for permission. "May I?"
"Please." Wanda had to control her breathing when she felt how close their bodies were, strong toned hands were wrapping themselves on hers.
"Your hand placement could be better." Y/n shifted her hand placement, "Like so, and now you just tamp." They swore they tried to keep their distance as much as possible, but in this position it was rather difficult. As when you pressed the tamper down you had to lean slightly with your body.
Wanda knew this of course, and she was enjoying it much more than she should. Y/n guided her hand, and when they both pressed down on the coffee ground. Their bodies were completely flushed, Wanda tried to hold back the sigh that was trying to get out of her throat.
She ultimately failed. Fuck at this point Wanda needed them now more than ever. Y/n heard the rather sexual sigh, they froze like a deer caught in a headlight. Are they tripping right now?
Well the cat's out of the bag, Wanda hastily dropped the portafilter on the counter and turned around to face him. Their face was inches from each other's and Y/n was too stunned to pull away.
"Let's not play dumb." Wanda put her hand on their chest and inched a little closer. "I have been wanting you for days, Y/n. I can't wait any longer."
Her voiced snapped him out of his dazed state, "I- Wanda..."
Wanda hummed, the tone in her voice filled with lust. "I love the way my name sounds when you say it." Their heart was pounding very fast, Wanda could feel it. "Why so nervous, darling?" She smirked, god that fucking smirk.
"W-we really shouldn't" He stammered.
"Why not?"
"You're married." Wanda rolled her eyes at that.
"He doesn't need to know. What's wrong with a little summer fun, hmmm?" She inched closer, her hand going up to their neck.
"Mrs. Maximoff I don't-"
"How many times do I have to tell you?" Her authoritative voice came out again, it made them weak on the knee. Wanda noticed the effect it has on him, and smiled mischievously. "What's my name?"
"Wanda..." They breathe out.
"Good boy." Fuck oh fuck, Y/n thought. All moral compass thrown out the window. He was ready to follow her orders like a puppy. Seems like Wanda noticed this too. "You like being called that, don't you?"
They swallowed the lump in their throat, "Yes..."
"Are you going to be a good boy for mommy?" Yep that was it.
"Yes I will." Y/n wasn't the only mess here, Wanda herself was extremely aroused. The idea of being able to command them, and the fact that Y/n would follow it without a second thought was doing numbers on her.
This feeling of dominant was new to her, and she loved every second of it. She pulled him down and sealed their lips, Y/n’s heart practically exploded. Wanda was very rough, yet he didn't mind. Her hand flew up to wrap around their broad shoulders. While Y/n's held her by the waist.
Wanda's tongue asked for entrance, and Y/n granted it. Wanda moaned when she felt her tongue being sucked in, god she couldn't wait to feel those mouth elsewhere. When they broke the kiss, Wanda bit on his bottom lip which erupted a moan from him. She couldn't take it anymore, the searing ache between her legs was driving her crazy.
She grab their hand and guided it to go under her pants, "Don't be shy darling." This simple gesture made Y/n's head feel light. The act of caring yet authoritative was not something he expected to have such a huge effect on him.
When they felt the pool of arousal they couldn't help but moaned out the word, "Fuck..."
"You feel how much I need you, baby?" This whole thing was making their head spin, they only could nod in response. "Yeah?" Her voice dripping with arousal, its almost like she was taunting him. Kinda hot though. Wanda pulled him back into a sloppy kiss.
"Be a good boy and do what you gotta do." They didn't need to told twice, their fingers found her aching bud and rubbed slow circles on it. Wanda threw her head back and moaned out loud.
"Oh god-" Christ the sounds she was making was divine, Y/n could listen to this all day. "That's it baby, right there ah..." Wanda had to hold onto them for dear life.
You would think someone would not get so riled up from a simple circular motion, but don’t judge Wanda. Her husband was awfully terrible in bed, and she haven’t had any decent pleasure in years. On top of that, Y/n had been plaguing her mind for the past week.
She was sexually frustrated.
"Wanda hmpf-" Wanda didn't let him speak as she sealed their lips once again in an attempt to cover her moans.
"You're doing such a great job for mommy." The praises only made them more motivated to pleasure her. "Oh fuck- don't stop" Wanda moaned against their mouth and Y/n swallowed every single one of them. Their hand move at the perfect pace. Not fast, not slow either. Just steady.
Wanda was getting closer by each second, she hasn't felt this much pleasure in a long time. "God - I'm so close baby-" She manages to breathe out, her hand found it's way on to their hair and pulled on it.
"Fuck- Wanda..." She couldn't help but moaned out loud when she heard her name coming out of their mouth. The pull she had on him was rather painful yet arousing at the same time.
"D- Don't stop talking." She commaned.
"Yes, Wanda." Another loud moan erupted from her throat. Y/n leaned forward to whisper in her ear, nibbling her earlobe. "I will please you however you like. I'm ready to worship you, Wanda." Her other hand gripped his forearm that he was sure it was going to leave a mark.
"Oh! Baby I'm g-" She couldn't finished her sentence and hid her face on their shoulders.
"Shhh, I got you. Let go for me, Wanda." Finally she reached her peak, she covered her loud moans by biting their shoulders. Y/n hissed in pain, but again he did not mind. Wanda was too pre-occupied with her orgasm to notice. They help her ride it out until she calmed down.
When they pulled out their hand, it was a complete mess. Y/n took their finger up to their mouth and licked it clean while staring at Wanda intently. Once he was done, Wanda pulled them in to a kiss and shoved her tongue in. Savoring the taste of herself, she hummed in delight.
When they pulled back, they can't help but smiled lovingly at Wanda. "You're beautiful, Wanda."
Still tired from her orgasm, she gave him a weak smile. "You did wonderful, darling."
They noticed Wanda seemed rather weak on the knee, they pick her up and have her sit on the counter. Y/n's hand reach up to brush a strand of hair off face, he leaned in to put a soft kiss on her forehead. Wanda was slightly confused at the gesture and had to processed it for a second.
The younger one then moved away for a second. When he returned, he offered Wanda a glass of water, "Thirsty?"
Wanda couldn't help but laugh softly, "Thank you, Y/n." She grabbed the glass and hummed once her dry throat was hydrated. It was a rather new concept for her, aftercare. As her own husband never done it for her, it felt... nice.
"I may need another help with something." Wanda said, faint smirk creeping on her lips.
"What is it?"
"I need you to clean up the mess you make."

COMMON ENEMY OF DECEPTION
。°˖ ʚɞ ꒦꒷⩩ Ft. Edogawa Ranpo & Edgar Allan Poe x gn reader
At this point I'm just promoting the ship www :33
°°``Marked as and not excluding: Yandere (many gaslight 🔥, obsessiveness, manipulative, breach of privacy/confidentiality hints, heavy dependence indications, overprotective, gatekeeping you), kind of angsty having a friends-to-enemies dynamic with Ranpo, messy plotline going on idk anymore my brain just shrunk writing this
°°``Recommended to read for those 16+, please proceed with caution.
↪What starts out as a mere fascination descalates into a mixed up dedication.
❇✧ You're a fun little enigma which is like that of a stimulating Rubik cube. Always determined, Ranpo successfully manages in getting your true best outcome from all the possibilities he could show for you to be amazed at. Sometimes, the fact that he can be stumped figuring you out frustrates him to no end, but he's proud to be the one doing it to you overall! After all, there's no other person more capable and fitting than him to 'solve' all of your worries, problems, or low level predicaments so you should be at ease if you just leave them to the greatest detective ever!
❇✧ Whenever you would feel like you're hitting a dead end in a seemingly neverending maze, he can easily show you the way out of that maze—no, miniature garden! It's only a simple and rewarding trade all in all, you need his point of view towards the solution and Ranpo will receive your praise as the reward (+ your cleared up face out of recognition, breaking to a smile <- he considers it a bonus even though he would expect for that view to keep coming, reserved for his eyes only!).
❇✧ The very few moments though, you wish for a comfort or time in facing a dilemma instead of being shoved a cold revelation like what he usually does. But why, he thought, why wouldn't you just walk the rest of your way out of the maze even with him graciously leading you onward? What's the point of standing around and mulling it over? The answer is already right there, it's obvious and even you could see it. He knows the reason, but he can't really do anything about it if you don't move yourself, can he? He hates being incapable in these kind of situations.
❇✧ You might get some of his snacks instead and something along the lines 'I guess I could do it, just doing something so simple by being here for you if that helps you'. He would pout and everything if he sees your gloom face isn't going away any soon.
❇✧ Your praise and smile are his daily dose of dopamine (healthy ofc, totally not addicted) at this rate and he demands more! He becomes very prying... of your matters which aren't that easy to deal with and even the touchy subjects you wouldn't dare speak out loud, it's as if you're being exposed to the core and then poked at for him to nitpick about certain parts you really have difficulties with.
❇✧ Anytime, any day, his words slowly plague your mind; you should do things this way or you should follow what he say that way you don't regret it, are you sure you should be doing this? He's getting persistently clingy while his minor tantrums increase more often whenever you don't approve his presence, you should've admit you need him any moment now!
❇✧ A bad move on your part, he takes that as a sign it's not enough so you just... avoid him altogether, explaining about his behavior and that you need space from him on text to refrain from losing control over your emotions if you face him. You figure you should do something about this, then you finally go to seek out his rival—no, the closest person he's to and the one you're comfortable with asking for help; Edgar Allan Poe.
❇✧ ...that's what he expected. When Ranpo realized all his efforts would backfire him, he have created a plan with Poe in advance way before you do. He won't let you escape him! Not when he has Poe by his side; his most trusted aid.
❇✧ The moment you take a step back, he instead sees it as a challenge he should take so he will come out victorious; as the one you would admit to be right, backed up by Poe's statement about him. Ranpo won't back down... So you shouldn't go down easily and cower away! Things wouldn't have to be this way if you were just of one agreement with him from the beginning.
❇✧ To Poe, even if through complaints only, Ranpo accidentally makes you out to be more of a formidable foe and villain than you actually are in this case that Poe doesn't hesitate at all lending him a hand. Fueled by jealousy—the moment you step into Poe's room—he welcomes you as his most dangerous rival at the highest priority who needs to be handled in his own hands now that Ranpo leaves the rest of the plan to him.
✏✉ It was needed as a convincing prove for Poe that you're worthy of his help. It was supposed to be like that right before... you are trapped within Poe's book. And out of all people, it's with Ranpo, where almost all (under influence of Poe wanting you to think of them as such) the puzzles are designed in such a special mechanism needing two certain people to be solved at the same time. But, the puzzles put you at a disadvantage more, highlighting Ranpo's ability instead whenever you can't solve them. Your intentions to work together with him in peace and solving some riddles on your own—are outweighed in the end. 'If you want this to be easier for both of us, you should just count on me more!' stated Ranpo.
✏✉ Compared to Ranpo, you know you're not that smart, but you can still stand up by yourself very well even without his help and so, you show it to them. Oh, what a bold and risky action you took, with that being out of their predictions as well... You have Poe enthralled, in awe towards your efforts as if you're under a spotlight—like him—the past him trying hard to win against the same once 'enemy'. With Ranpo getting worried sick of you now and Poe feeling guilty as well, he ends the story on that note before releasing you both out very soon.
✏✉ After Ranpo throws an outburst for your idiotic reckless stunt you pulled and he gets a childish tantrum trying not to mind a particular stupid person whenever he meets you, Poe have since become your wingman for both of your happiness. He's sad seeing the state of relationship you have with his best rival (lie) is turning tense. Poe has been also the mediator from then on who presents Ranpo's good qualities he's proud of. It's as if he's his defender, apologist more than someone who supports both side to make peace rather.
✏✉ Poe would be able to make you feel bad, because maybe you are just being too stubborn surely? Things would go smoothly on your end once you understand Ranpo if you were in his shoes and he would then forgive you. At some other times, Poe is just a walking contradiction, taking your side and discussing about his plans of deduction game to go against Ranpo and with your help, you two might even win past his level of intelligence together.
✏✉ Truthfully, Poe is just playing a devil's advocate card and you might realize it sooner or later since he can't help but rant more than he needed when you push the conversation a right way. You play along with him, admitting you're wrong in some cases related about Ranpo, and even acknowledging Poe's skills because he must be on the same level as him when they managed to get closer than ever~ Poe would be all flustered being treated like that by you.
✏✉ In that moment, Ranpo unexpectedly appears and gets along with you well enough as if nothing ever happens between the two of you, teaming up to tease Poe together. Karl also takes the chance to be his savior by obstructing his own face. All is well that ends well. Not long after, Ranpo admits his fault from before. Your trust in him wouldn't be able to return the way it was, though. Poe is now the one you would confide in, his awkward gestures supported by Karl's help mostly becomes your comfort and they're more heartfelt genuine. In return, Poe would need your feedback and opinions for his stories from time to time.
✏✉ Poe starts glorifying you as his most precious friend, even comes a few lavish gifts he give to you along with a letter he writes for a special occassion. That recent development of you getting closer with him doesn't seem to bother Ranpo much, the detective would simply come and borrow you at appropriate times, sharing stories about his accomplishments of usual and extraordinary cases strewn about in the city or coming to talk in private with Poe or, sometimes have you all hang out together to some place he's interested in.
✏✉ Things seem normal as if you're just spending time together with your close friends(?). Well, besides some claims from Ranpo's co-workers about how he seems to like you very much and he's really insistent of scolding and demeaning anyone who would be having the slightest interest in you. Ranpo is completely honest about it, telling you they're all just creeps or someone you wouldn't want to get involved with. And right he is, when you find out, even if some of them may be your acquintances or friends, Ranpo just knows to get the dirt on expose them and you would thank him for just looking out after you.
✏✉ Although rare, things would escalate further until one of those people is desperate enough to hurt Ranpo with you or Poe having to stop it and that only make his point more clear, sealing the deal. Meanwhile, Poe is absolutely secretive of mentioning about your presence to anyone, surprisingly capable of not letting them know more about you. He would tell the reason is for protecting you since he must have many enemies, or dangerous people meeting him. Before you know it, you're always with the two of them more often. And will always have been.
✏✉ There's a silent agreement going on between them and it would make you feel left out sometimes because it couldn't be easily guessed. Even though you're actually their very solidarity, it's a sign they're doing a good job hiding their intentions you wouldn't guess that they would secure you within their own length of distance only. A triangle fixed towards you; it's two against one. The winner is decided.

Midnight burger posting at midnight
In an Au where the EX “rescued” Ted (A.K.A hostage/ forced vacation as Casper puts it) along with Casper:
Casper’s whole thing with Ted is to get him out of his shell (he sees himself in Ted and hates that he can relate to the helplessness of determinism and its shackles, for he too once felt the burden of mundanity)
Ted’s adamant that someone is coming to get him and almost ejects them out into space in whatever vessel the EX was driving
(the EX is very good at holding people in place)
Every time they stop somewhere they have to wrangle him in, I picture Casper making a joke about needing to get one of those child leashes for him
That usually makes him so offended that he forgets about escaping and they can carry on with their journey
Wherever they are Ted has something to say about the state and the use of whatever planet/space object they’re on (Ted propaganda, always some sort of false)
Very unwelcome in red’s rectangle (should’ve stayed behind but is very untrustworthy)
Ted’s wild west persona would be a priest with a past more sullied than an oil spill in the ocean.
Escalating tensions with his tries of descalations of repeating laws and penal codes, not really playing along but also not not playing along.
Not as smooth as Casper and not as gung ho as Ex,
Like Casper in the before Throwing-Ava-into-deep-space times Ted would be adamantly against any “meaningless” detours that extend their time together.
Helping with the jailbreak cements the fact that Ted is a traitor, and a bittersweet (at lest in Ted standards) reunion makes him finally look back in his actions, though outwardly he acts the same to most
(except to Casper and Ex due to the fact that being that powerful and that old you could probably read anyone)
At the battle of time’s melody Ted is solemn yet abrasively uncooperative
There’s three ending for Ted in this Au. (1.like Canon he wonders the universe, by his own valuation) ((2.he gose with BurtBurt to simply see what’ll happen, maybe to gain some semblance of routine he once had)) (((3.and most outlandishly, he stays and raised plant babies with a sentient bush and inter dimensional robot)))
Character design
BurtBurt - I imagine she always wears a fur coat, like most people of her race she has three sets of arms, one set is always crossed and another always has a pen and paper in hand. Her hair has cartoony swirls at the ends and her skin is a very pale pink
Verge - basically double trouble from she-Ra but blue, wears the space equivalent of any weather survivalist gear. Color blind
Minski - a more human humanoid spider, looks human except for the six arms protruding out the back and eight pitch black eyes. Waits finely tailored suits.
Shell - looks like a bush, has holly berries growing on them sorta like a birthmark or defining characteristic
Ava - how I imagine manuela dominguez form the magnus archives, white lab coat, long straight thick black hair, brown skinned.
Gloria - a Mexican Justina Machado, long dark brown curly hair that reaches her back that’s always tied in a bun or ponytail, her outfits are always pristine and bright as if she just got them that day.
Casper - Jake Johnson, grey hairs
Leif - just Leif
Random thoughts
PolyBurger should be a thing - let the employees and the boss and the regular kiss while HR looks on in jovial disapproval.

Okay, so I'm still thinking about Flip flops. Can I get anybit of piece of Click the pieces into Sharp arragements, in Jake's pov? (What a really want it's the whole thing, but I think that is to much to ask)
I Just need to know what that himbo is thinking when he got the best thing in his life, and If he's even aware that something with Nat it's a better achivement that reaching mach 10 .
[ask me for extras about my fics!]
↻ FLIP FLOP: the flip side of Jake hanging out in the bathroom while Phoenix and Rooster talk in click the pieces into sharp arrangements in Hangman's POV
She's probably going to kill him for this – Jake knows how his sisters used to get about anyone touching their stuff when they were teenagers; Natasha seems two hundred percent more likely to murder someone for disrupting her ordered chaos – but Jake is stressed and there's not enough room in her bathroom to pace properly so he cleans. The buzz from the too-strong margaritas has faded so wiping at her bathroom fixtures until the chrome shines as brightly as his teeth helps Jake forget about the bird strike. It makes him feel better to get on his hands and knees and scrub at the water ring around her tub until it's a distant memory. But when Jake closes his eyes, he can still hear the terror in Bob's voice as he listed all the warning lights going off at his console while Phoenix tried flying higher and higher on a single functioning engine and failing hydraulics. Even through the staticky radio, Phoenix's sense of betrayal as her hornet – an extension of herself – gave up the ghost was evident. Earlier, Jake wanted to tell her that he understood – that even though ejecting felt like amputating a limb, the alternative was dying of sepsis and no one wanted that – but the words came out jumbled and all he could do was tell Natasha that her swan dive into the ocean was impressive before hitting on her like she hadn't almost died six hours ago. This was probably why people thought he was such a dick, but it worked so who cares how they got there? Jake wants to descale her faucet, but he knows that Phoenix will kill him if she catches him rummaging through her kitchen cabinets for a bottle of vinegar while she's trying to convince Rooster that he is Important. He has already organized her face washes and moisturizers, finished today's crossword, and placed his parlays for tomorrow's college football game so in the interest of keeping his brain quiet, Jake sneaks out of the bathroom and throws a load of laundry into her washer. "You're Mother Hen-ing right now!" he hears Phoenix tell Rooster and absently wonders if maybe they get along so well because they've both got avian-themed call signs. If his call sign was Heron instead of Hangman, would Natasha be showing Rooster the door so she could reassure Jake instead? It feels too weighty to consider right now so Jake plasters on an obnoxious smirk and strolls into the living room to ask Natasha if she's trying to steal his thunder by making a Rooster joke.

(I know this has a lot to do with meta when it comes to etoiles and it's essential to understand that but also) from a lore/character standpoint do you think etoiles' gentleness and attitude against violence with bad's case yesterday stems more from his past as a warrior understanding when/how to de-escalate a situation and have a softer hand, or from the fact that people keep seeing him as a violent person no matter what he does to help and protect (forever and baghera saying that he might get violent and hurt others because of his scarred arm) ?
Forwarnint: I might be wildly off base here, I'm new to this and I have a feeling my opinions on his relationships to certain things will change as I watch more and more :]
MMM interesting!!! (I actually don't know the meta, I think if he mentioned it his French was too fast for me to understand. But) from in character that's a really good question.
Cause like. I definitely see PHILS ability to handle high stress mental breakdowns as stemming from his ability to descalate,,, but I sort of think like. Oguh okay. This is the first time I've thought about this you're gonna have to bare with me trying to put this all together.
Like I kinda don't see what he was doing as like, something he did in order to contrast violence.
For me I think,q Etoiles is very good at solving puzzles, not in the cellbit way of solving enigmas and stuff, but in the sense of like, he's very very very good at being put on the back foot, and finding ways to move the resources he does have to cover what he needs to. Like I am constantly circling around the fact I think his favourite part of a fight is when he loses control of the battle and has to think carefully about how he's gonna win or survive despite the fact he shouldn't. And I think that sort of mentality coulddd be applied here.
He like, when he got the message that made him understand bad has lost his memory, he steeled himself for what was incoming. When he got to bad he like greeted him like they didn't know each other, matching the energy. Then he sorta tests the bounds of where bad is and isn't at, and then rolls with the punches from there.
Like I am in no way saying he saw his conversation with bad as a battle, like it wasn't summit you win lose or survive, but I dk think his approach to problem solving could be applied here.
There's a very specific way in which qEtoiles thrives in an environment that's out of his control, and therefore I don't think deescalation is the right like, sense of the word, because he never tried to bring things back under control. He sat in the fact it was out if his control and just matched where things were at He just tested the bounds and eventually settled on meeting bad where he was at, and suggesting a memory aid before he had to go.
I also think his patience could be related to the fact he plays the long game despite hating bordem and being impatient instance to instance (another contradiction without hypocrisy love this guy). He puts the hours in grinding dungeons, he will fight the fight for a Long Time. When he commits to something he will do it till its done no matter the time it takes, and I think that ability to like. Make no progress for a long time and see no rewards for a long time helped here as well.
I wanna re-emphasize, qBad is Not a problem to solve, nor a battle to be won. Memory loss is a thing that happens and it sucks. I am saying the skills qEtoiles used to not make things worse for qBad are things that can link to other areas of qEtoiles life and mentality and general approach to things
Idk! Do you got thoughts on it (or anyone else for that matter)

I'm just really unhappy with how last session happened. I feel like my therapist failed me. I dont know if she actually did or if I'm just too difficult.
We had a normal session then in the last 10 minutes she told me we were no longer going to be meeting.
I immediately shut down. There was so much going on inside. In the past I would have violently lashed out but I didn't want to be kicked out or hospitalized so I held it all in. This also translated to a lot of pain all over and it was hard to pay attention to what she was saying or talk. I was getting the feeling to bolt which I have done in past situations. I also felt myself disconnecting from the inside which I've done in the past when allergies start to set in. I think I tried to let some of it out and communicate it by saying flighty things like "I just want to quit therapy at this point" but all she did was validate my feelings and say that was an option. I said I felt like I had no choice and no where to go and she confirmed that missouri fails survivors like me. Any time I really needed her to help me ground and descalate I just got validation which made it worse. And I couldn't think well enough to relay what I needed which makes me feel broken.
Also at one point she said we haven't been seeing eachother that long. We just made me and still makes me feel shame about my feeling. But also we've been seeing eachother 9 months. To my child parts of which there are majority that feels extremely long. Even so its the second longest therapeutic relationship. And it's one of the most longest frequent and healthiest interactions I've had in my whole life. I feel so angry she would minimize that. Along with deep shame I allowed it to mean anything

“man, come on-” and just like that, they’re outside. arturo relinquishes his hold on gregory’s upper arm and doesn’t even have the good grace to try and keep him steady ; it’s the same kind of tough love he’d use on the kids working underneath him, underscored by general annoyance at being here and dealing with him in the first place. he hasn’t had the PLEASURE of spending enough time inside, yet, for the cold night air to feel like a relief to flushed skin, but he’s hoping that the shock of it will be sobering kind of experience for the other. if not-... well, they’re outside, at least. there’s no actual escaping the din of the rager being thrown in the beaumont building, but a change of scenery might do him even more good. the last thing he wants to do is have to drag him in overnight, but drunk kids are hard to reason with. it probably doesn’t help matters that arturo’s only way of descalating is holding up his hands, palms out and asking him, “what’re you doin’ ? is this really how you want your night to go ?”

omg i just finished reading ch 2 & i have sm to say!!🤩🤩 but 1st lemme tell u that once i finished reading i had to resist the urge to just start clapping out loud fr! 😂
HI! hope to find u well!^^
so 1st of all i wanna TRY to go in order & write my thoughts in a way that isn't as messy & chaotic as usual, hope i succeed(doubt, knowing myself🙄)
u already mentioned how there would be some parallels to various things that are also found in our society & it's a sensitive thing to include if u don't do it in a proper way & don't handle important subjects well in the fiction BUT up untill now you'r doing an amazing job, literally perfect!!💜💜💜
this may be what u intended to communicate through your writing or maybe just my overthinking-ass interpretations:
-the one that stands out the most is the obvious discrimination against lykos in society,as a marginalized group. & we can see how in the ff-au it is also a systemic oppression(some ppl don't hire omegas or alphas. 4 lykos it's harder to pursue studies & carreers, like yoongi. the whole crisis of homelesness, abandonment, abuse & mental health issues. the active violence against lykos that we see mentioned more than once through the presentation of yoongi's & jk's jobs..ETC)
-through jk we can see how the police wrk in a similar way to how it does irl. it's a body that thrives on bigotry, discrimination & brutality & its inneficency in solving or descalating situations that include lykos is bc it is part of the systemic oppresion & upholds the system as well & bc of this,u can't make it better by joining this system, even if u don't directly partake into the violence,u'll end up being complicit or find yourself w/ your hands tied like poor jungkook. poor boy had nothing but good intentions & wanted a way to help & change & better but now he's just stuck in the role of a helpless witness to the violence around him who can only try to do as much as he can, given the situation😭💔
-through the experience of jimin & what is narrated in the story,we can also see how fucked up & exploitative the foster care(& sheltering) system is,esp when managed by saps.
sidenote: i really appreciated the way u gave us introspection into how it may feel to be an alpha through jungkook,a beta, wondering if they always feel this worried & anxious over an omega's safety all the time. by giving them this characteristic instinct of protection & need to provide it & be sure to have provided it,it further humanises them & distance them from the common harmful stereotype of just being driven by aggressive, territorial instincts of dominance & need to overpower etc. ofc it's a thing that may be present or not, depending also on the personal believes & way of thinking of the alpha themselves. we can see it missing in the 2 alphas in the alley in ch & the ex-neighbour lone-wolf alpha in ch 2 & we see it present in all the pack's alphas(even when not being influnced by y/n scent, yoongi still had a reaction to the lack of security when he noticed that there weren't locks)
uhm...i'm sure there's way more depth & elements in your writing that i glossed over/missed/didn't catch enough & i'm srry 4 that,i have a goldfish brain😥 but what i could get made up 4 an excellent read!
ik i got a bit too much excited abt your writing & i'm truly srry if i made u feel overwhelmed or uncomfy by talking this much & abt topics that may be sensitive to you or if my interpretations were a bit too pushy😖
but i hope u know how good your writing is & feel proud & satisfied w/ it!
i look forward to seeing more of what u can create,at your own terms & w/ your own timing ofc!💜💜🐇
(apologies 4 any spelling monstrousity, english is a hard beast to tame😭)
😂✋️ not clapping! Lmao that's cute
I think your interpretations are spot on! The lykos could stand in for any marginalized group in different scenarios. Personally i think im working through some identities things in this fic, but thats just me. Im not trying to make it about one group in particular and there are a lot of possible interpretations!
Poor jk. He really wants to be making a difference. I'm not totally sure he wont be looking for a different career by the end of this.
The foster care/adoption thing will be a big deal and will be emphasized in the coming chapters! Both mc and jimin have been in this system. In particular there are a lot of abandoned lykos babies who end up adopted out and kept away from their culture to the point of making them ashamed of it, and for that i think there are lots of parallels to the situation of native american children in the United States.
I'm glad you liked the slightly different perspective on the alpha betas and omegas! I wanted to step a little outside of stereotypes bc i dont see why secondary gender stereotypes should be any different from our gender stereotypes. I dont think protective=possessive/agressivr and nurturing=soft/weak. I think there can be a lot more nuance than that!
Im so happy you appreciated the depth and it made you think about things 🥰 i really enjoyed your analysis and it wasnt too much at all! Keep em coming. Thanks for taking the time.
P.s. you're english is just fine!

Reminds me of the time I had a meltdown at school, which was becuz the principal thought it was a good idea to take away stuffed animals of a kid in special ed, and I encountered a police officer in the hall while I was searching for my stolen stuffed animals.
Well instead of doing some thing logical like descalating the situation you wanna know what happened instead? This guy was egging me on to fight him. Me, in middle school, clearly a minor. I even looked up the average ages of middle and school and you what I found? Middle schoolers are typically ages 11-13
You read that right.
A police officer was taunting a clearly distressed minor, who couldn't be much older than 13, to try and get them to engage in a fight with him.
Looking back I'm probably really lucky because 1. he only had a taser and not a gun, 2. He only engaged with me physically instead of using said taser 3. My parents arrived probably a minute or two after I got into a fight with him which means 4. The fight didn't last long enough for him to decide about tasing me later.
I really wish we thought to sue them back then for assault of a minor. :/
Although this story did come up with a friend of my mom recently and we learnt that the statue of limitations on the assault of a minor last much longer so, with the help of a lawyer friend, we're looking into what we can find. Wish us luck on getting enough evidence to sue their asses!

The 15+ (Forgotten) Things You Need to Clean!
You may be a neatnik, but are you really a clean freak?
Kudos to you for clearing clutter! Hats off for your regular cleaning routine! Now it’s time to clean those neglected places that may not require weekly maintenance, but a periodic cleanse to keep your house in tip-top shape. Tackle these projects to keep allergies and bacteria at bay.
Throw blankets, comforters and pillows
We’ve all cringed at the thought that many hotels don’t wash comforters between guests, but our own bedding may not be as hygienic as it could be. And while you’re washing your extra bedding, be sure to grab linens from the family room sofa, too.
Pet bedding
Don’t forget your furbabies! As with most things, the more frequently you clean your pet’s bedding, the easier it will be. Accumulated fur can clog drains and dryer filters.
TV screen
Use a microfiber cloth to clear dust and smudges from your televisions and any other electronic screens. Avoid spray cleaners unless your manufacturer recommends one.
Coffee maker
Daily rinsing is great, but be sure to give both the pot and the appliance a good cleanse. Moisture and heat create the perfect breeding ground for bacteria. Simply create a batch of half vinegar, half water instead of coffee. Allow your coffee maker to rest for 30 minutes so the mixture can do its work. Then make a batch of clean water to clear any leftover vinegar before making your next pot of coffee. This also will “descale” the machine to remove buildup, which is essential especially if you have hard water!
Washing machine
Check your manufacturer’s instructions, but most washing machines can benefit by running a hot cycle with white vinegar and baking soda.
Remote controls
Remove the batteries before cleaning with an antibacterial wipe.
Plants
This can be a tedious process, but is important for the health of your plants. Built-up dust and grime can block sun and lessen photosynthesis. Mist with water and carefully wipe down the leaves. Even faux plants should be cleaned periodically.
Curtains (including shower curtains)
A good seasonal cleaning will keep your curtains fresh. Check labels for directions.
Trash cans and hampers
Changing out trash bags is great regular maintenance, but sticky, germy grime accumulates on the cans. Hampers can also become foul after holding dirty clothes.
Ceiling fan blades
This hard-to-reach surface needs a good, periodic wipe down. And while you’ve got the stepladder out, take a look at other high-up surfaces like the tops of cabinets and your refrigerator.
Under appliances
From major appliances like stoves, refrigerators and washing machines to the countertop kitchen gadgets, the surfaces underneath need cleansed.
Under furniture
It’s a pain, but you might find some long-lost items under your sofa or bookshelf.
Under foot (carpets, rugs, bathroom mats, door mats)
Cleaning tools (toilet brushes, sponges, dust rags)
Consider periodic sanitation or complete replacement.
Filters
This might require time, instruction manuals and help. Here are some common household filters that should be cleaned and/or replaced:
Air conditioner
Furnace
Dryer
Air filters
Water filters
Humidifier
Range Hood
Dryer

Now Your Kettle Is Smarter Than You With The Help Of Alexa, Read Full News to Know More.
Swan’s Amazon Smart Kettle is not the first smart kettle created, but it is the only one created expressly to function with your Alexa smart speaker without any issues. You may set a reminder for it to heat up the water for your morning cup of tea, or you can use voice commands to get the water boiling.
But is it really any smarter than what a kettle has to be? And if so, would you make use of them or go back to using a manual kettle to boil water? Lets test it out to see what happens.
Design and presentation
Controls for LED touch panels
max volume of 1.5 litres, min volume of 0.5 litres
cordless, insulated inside, and boil-dry protection
The Swan Alexa kettle is a good-looking gadget, which you’ll especially love if your kitchen is modern or minimalist. That’s the first thing to say about it.
Apart for a subdued pairing of the Swan and Alexa emblems near its base, it is totally unmarked. It is glossy and black with an angular handle.
But when you turn it on, the white LED touch panel starts to light up, and that changes. An On/Off key is the first thing you’ll notice. The SET key will appear once you press it. The goal water heating temperature may be selected with this, and it is visible at the top.
After everything is set up, you’ll also notice a Wi-Fi icon that indicates the kettle is connected.
The kettle has a 16 cm in diameter spherical base that tapers to a height of around 27 cm. The base is where the cable is hooked, making the kettle cordless for pouring.
It states a minimum capacity, which is rare, and has a maximum capacity of 1.5 litres (around 8 to 10 cups). Never turn it on with less than 0.5 litres of fuel. That’s almost two large cups of tea or coffee, so if you only want to brew one drink, it would be a waste of power.
Although many kettles have 3000W, this one only has 1800W. I filled it, connected it to a smart socket for energy monitoring, and Then boiled it to 100 degrees. That was projected to cost about 4p on my existing tariff.
The price of boiling a full kettle is estimated in the Hugo Energy App for January 2023. The Swan Alexa Smart Kettle appears to be effective as it places it at 6.8p.
The efficient use of energy must be a result of the kettle’s outstanding design. Its outside stays cool to the touch thanks to its two walls and strong stainless steel inside. Also, there isn’t a heating element that would stick out into the water, which is excellent news for anyone who lives in a region with hard water. Scaling will be much simpler to remove.
But, if you’re a lone resident or frequently only boil enough water for one person, the minimal fill level can wind up costing you. Also, using the smart functions when it’s in standby mode may take some power, albeit it will be insignificant compared to your overall bill.
Nevertheless, using the “keep warm” mode, which will periodically reboil the kettle over the course of two hours, might result in this kettle being expensive to run. If you decide to purchase, we suggest turning this off.
Speaking of descaling, you can check how many times you can boil the kettle before you need to descale it using the Alexa app. You’ll get about 500 uses out of it, however if you live in a region with hard water, you could need to clean it sooner.
This kettle does not have a water level observation glass, which is due to the insulated inside. Others could have missed it, but I didn’t.
the kettle being used
Kettle controls by app.
six water temperatures are available.
-quick, silent boil The less technically savvy members of the household don’t have to utilise any of the smart features if they don’t want to, even if one of you adores all the newest technology and the other simply wants a cup of coffee – and promptly. They may start the kettle by turning it on as usual.
or at least almost. This kettle does everything a specialty tea kettle does, which is one of its wonderful features.
Hence, rather than only having one heating setting (boil it to death), you now have a choice of six temperatures, each of which is perfect for a certain drink:
-Fully boiled at 100 °C -Coffee at 90°C -85°C tea -Green tea at 80 °C
-honey, 60 °C -Warm water at 40 °C It is also simple to use. To set the desired temperature, just press the SET key until it appears on the display rather than flipping the switch. On the side of the kettle, it will state BOILING and the temperature will flash. The end of that. It would be impossible for even the most ardent anti-technologist to claim that it is more complicated than a standard kettle.
The kettle boils fast and without a lot of noise. Although you can also notice in-app if the water level is too low, it features a boil dry safety function.
As it boils, it alerts you with a double beep, which is one feature I could have done without. Another obnoxious beeping device is the last thing my apartment needs. The single beep that signals when you have successfully turned it on from a distance is still considerably more useful.
Activating Alexa’s smart features
Alexa smart speakers are required for linked functions.
Setting up an in-app QR code
Wi-Fi setup might be difficult.
Making a cup of tea is the one thing in life that is truly straightforward, so you might find the thought of a smart kettle repulsive.
But if you already have an Alexa smart speaker in use, setting it up is straightforward. If not, you’ll need to address that before using the kettle’s functions fully.
This approach won’t surprise you if you’ve ever linked anything to your smart home network. Wi-Fi onboarding may be difficult; although sometimes it can quickly connect to your network, other times, and for no apparent reason, it can’t.
The Swan Alexa Smart Kettle may be connected using one of two methods. The first and simplest option is to scan the QR code on the side-mounted label. If this doesn’t work or if you’ve already taken it off and thrown it away, you can use the Alexa app’s instructions.
In our test, the QR code didn’t function, so we had to go through the more involved setup procedure. I had to make three attempts to connect, which was a little stressful. But, once it was operational, I experienced no more connection issues.
You may take a few steps to make life simpler for yourself. Bring the kettle to a location in your house with a reliable Wi-Fi signal. After you’ve got everything set up, you won’t need to leave it there. Make sure you are familiar with your Wi-Fi network’s name, password, and security type (WEP, WPA, WPA2, etc.) so you can put it in as necessary.
Using Alexa’s features
voice orders
Routines and scheduling
Activate the programme and modify its settings
Once everything is set up, you can use the Alexa app to access the smart features. Voice instructions, scheduling, and monitoring the kettle’s settings are the three primary categories.
The kettle may be found under devices when you open the Alexa app. You may activate it, check its settings, and make changes from there. However, the Alexa app wouldn’t allow me choose it as a favourite device, so I had to browse through another page to get there.
Pricing and accessibility
Swan’s Alexa Smart Kettle is clearly not cheap, with pricing starting at roughly £15 and quality kettles going for $25.
Yet, the cost is reasonable. For instance, the Smeg 1.7-liter jug kettle costs about £150. And there isn’t even an option for the water’s temperature there. It simply has a lovely appearance.
Nevertheless, if all you need is a variable temperature kettle, models like the Bosch Styline start at about £60.
But, you can get the Swan Alexa Kettle directly from Swan or from Amazon in the UK if you also want the smart capabilities. The US does not currently have access to it.

We love our Chefman electric kettle. We really do. But sometimes, things happen. Issues can arise with this appliance; when they do, it's important to know how to troubleshoot them. This article will provide solutions to some of the most common problems with the Chefman electric kettle. We'll also offer advice on how to prevent these issues from happening in the future. So we've covered whether your Chefman electric kettle is taking too long to boil water, not heating, or leaking. Chefman Electric Kettle The Chefman electric kettle is a high-quality appliance that can make boiling water a breeze. It has several features that make it a valuable addition to any kitchen, but like all appliances, it can sometimes experience problems. In this guide, we'll walk you through some of the most common issues with the Chefman electric kettle and show you how to solve them. Chefman electric kettle troubleshooting If your Chefman electric kettle isn't functioning the way it should, don't worry, we're here to help. Here are a few troubleshooting steps to follow: First, try unplugging the kettle and plugging it back in. This will reset it and often will fix any issue. If that doesn't work, try turning it off and on again. If it's still not working, check to ensure the water is boiling. The kettle will not turn on if there is no water inside. If something is blocking the spout, try using a toothpick or chopstick to clean it out. If you've tried all these things and your kettle is still not working, don't hesitate to contact us for further assistance. Scaling Up: Descaling the Electric Kettle The Chefman electric kettle is a popular choice for people looking for a durable and reliable appliance. However, as with any product, there may be times when it experiences problems. This section will provide solutions to some of the most common issues users experience with the Chefman electric kettle. One such problem is scaling. Over time, mineral deposits from the water can build up on the interior of the kettle and cause it to become less efficient and even damage the heating element. To remove these deposits, you will need to descale the electric kettle. To descale the electric kettle: Fill it with white vinegar to the max fill line. Plug in the kettle and turn it on to high heat. Bring the vinegar to a boil and let it boil for about 15 minutes. Please turn off the kettle and let it cool down completely. Rinse the kettle well with water and let it air dry. Checking and Replacing Parts in the Electric Kettle Can you figure out why your Chefman Electric Kettle isn't working properly? Let's look at the parts that may need to be checked and replaced. The most common part that needs maintenance is the heating element. If it is not working, you should clean it and ensure it is securely connected to the kettle's base. You can also inspect the power cord for wear or damage and replace any damaged wires. Additionally, you should check for any broken seals on the lid and inner pot, which can cause water leakage when boiling water. Finally, ensure all screws are tightened properly, and nothing is blocking the vents near the kettle's base. If you find an issue with any of these components, you may need to replace them for optimal performance. Troubleshooting Common Error Codes When using the Chefman Electric Kettle, you may run into a few common error codes. Don’t worry, though. Usually, these can be easily corrected or figured out with basic troubleshooting steps. If the kettle displays an “ERR1” error code on the LED display, it has been plugged in for too long and needs to be reset. To do this, unplug the kettle and plug it back in after 5 minutes. If an “ERR2” message appears on the LED display, it indicates something is wrong with the temperature sensor inside the kettle. The best thing to do here is to replace the kettle, as this is not something that a user can fix. Finally, an “ERR3' message means that there is something wrong with the power supply of the kettle.
Unplugging and re-plugging the cord should fix this issue if nothing else works. Tips for Maintaining and Cleaning Your Electric Kettle To get the most out of your electric kettle, it’s important to maintain and clean it regularly and properly. Here are a few tips: Before boiling more, empty any leftover water from the previous session. This will help ensure you’re getting a fresh start each time and reduce mineral buildup in the tank. To descale, use white vinegar and water to flush out any mineral buildup. Rinse with clear water once done. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth or non-abrasive sponge, and avoid electrical components for safety reasons. If possible, it’s best to wash the stainless steel pot in warm soapy water by hand. Not only will this help prevent germs and bacteria, but it will also keep its shine looking new for longer. Following these guidelines will ensure that your Chefman Electric Kettle runs like new for years to come! Conclusion When it comes to the Chefman electric kettle, you can do a few things to troubleshoot some common issues. First, ensure the water you're using is cold or room temperature; if it's too hot, it could cause the kettle to malfunction. Also, ensure the power cord is properly plugged into the outlet and the kettle isn't overloaded with water. If you're still having trouble, try unplugging the kettle and plugging it back in or contacting Chefman customer service for further assistance.
