Hongjoong smiled proudly at his work of art. He carefully picked up the gingerbread house and held it up.
"Look look baby!" He exclaimed, bouncing lightly on his feet as he showed you it.
"Oh my God! It looks amazing!"
The smile on your face that was happy for Hongjoong soon turned to a pout though as you stared down at your own creation. Hongjoong peeked over and noticed why you were sad. Your gingerbread house was falling apart, barely standing up, and the frosting was smeared all over the place, including your face and hair.
"Awww sweetheart come on." Hongjoong cooed as he began to wipe some of the frosting off your face.
"I suck and I hate Christmas." You huffed softly, your arms crossing over your chest.
"Stop you don't mean that." He said cupping your cheeks.
"Tell you what? How about we go back to the store and I buy you that spongebob gingerbread house you wanted and build it for you?"
Your eyes lit up at his comment.
"Really?!" You squealed.
Hongjoong kissed your frosted nose, licking some of it off and then winked at your blushing figure.
"Come on baby. We want to get there before it closes."
❄𝓟𝓪𝓻𝓴 𝓢𝓮𝓸𝓷𝓰𝓱𝔀𝓪
"Baby baby look!"
You rolled your eyes as your boyfriend once again got sidetracked from your task and began pulling you to see some of the items on display.
"Seonghwa! We're supposed to be shopping for gifts for the boys." You reminded him.
"I know, I know...but look how cute these are!"
Seonghwa couldn't help himself as he picked up some of the baby mittens and hats. He giggled as he held them out to you.
"Seonghwa? Who are those supposed to fit? Yunho?" You rolled your eyes.
"No silly! But I was thinking....you know.."
Seonghwa wiggled his eyes suggestively at you. When you caught onto his meaning, you smacked his arm and started walking away.
"You're....ugh!
Seonghwa quickly put the stuff down and walked behind you.
"Why are you against this?! I thought you wanted to give me what I wanted for Christmas and I want a positive pregnancy test!".
He cried out then quickly turned cause something caught his eye.
"Look this is perfect for Mingi!"
You sighed as you realized it was gonna be a long day.

You and Yunho were currently putting the finishing touches on the Christmas tree. You felt so proud at the color combination you picked out. You tilted your head when you heard a cluttering sound.
"Oops?" Yunho smiled shyly as he began to pick up some of the glass balls that he had accidentally dropped on the floor.
"Yuyu careful. I don't want you cutting yourself." You said as you helped him pick them up.
"I'll be fine love. They didn't even shatter." He assured you.
After you guys picked up the ornaments and finished putting them up, you both began clapping and jumping up and down.
"It's almost finished."
You picked up the last item, a shiny gold star to put on the top of the tree. You happily walked over to the tree.
"Baby? Need me to do it?" Yunho offered.
"I can do it!"
You reached up but unfortunately couldn't reach all the way to the top. You stood on your tippy toes, but still couldn't place the star on the top. Defeated, you turned with a pout to Yunho. He merely chuckled as he took the star away from you.
"Don't worry love. It's what I'm here for."
He kissed your cheek before proceeding to lift you up on his arm.
"Come on. Let's finish decorating the tree together."
❄𝓚𝓪𝓷𝓰 𝓨𝓮𝓸𝓼𝓪𝓷𝓰
"Yeosang. Can you please take out the cookies from the oven?" You asked as you assembled the frosting and the piping bags.
Making sure to put on oven mittens, Yeosang carefully took out the sugar cookies from the oven and placed the tray on the counter, fanning them out gently.
"Perfect! Now we can start decorating them!" You handed a bag to Yeosang.
Yeosang and you quietly began decorating the cookies, adding different figures and cute designs on them. You felt Yeosang tapping eagerly on your shoulder so you stopped what you were doing to see what he had done.
"Hehet." He chuckled as he showered you a blue cookie decorated with a white Hehetmon.
That wasn't the end, he then held up a cookie that resembled an angry bird.
"It's Seonghwa Hyung!"
You bursted out laughing at how cute your boyfriend was. You were so caught up in your task of decorating the cookies, you almost..... almost didnt notice the hands that swindled one of the cookies.
"Yeosang did you just ate one of the cookies?" You placed your hands on your hips.
Yeosang turned to you with a shocked look on his face.
"Nnno..." He muffled a lie, mouth full of the pastry he stole.
You shook your head and tried to hit him with the nearby whisk, but he quickly evaded you.
"You know I have a sweet tooth!"
❄𝓒𝓱𝓸𝓲 𝓢𝓪𝓷
San made sure not to hurt himself as he hammered the nails onto the wall. It wasn't easy considering a certain furry feline decided it was a good time to start rubbing her body on his leg.
"Byeol, babygirl. As soon as I'm finished I'll give you cuddles ok?" He smiled down at the cat.
The cat however glared at him. Hissing softly, she left to join you on the couch, where you were busy trying to finish filling the stockings with goodies and candies. Byeol began meowing at you, sprawling her body across your lap.
"Byeol, sweetheart. Soon ok?" You said as you gently put her down, which she did not appreciate.
Soon both you and San were finished.
"Ok. Let's hang them up now."
You two slowly placed two stockings first, testing the waters to make sure they wouldn't fall off or rip. You both stepped back and let it stay for a few seconds before deciding it was ok.
"We did it!" San clapped as he turned back to you and gave you a high five and then pulled you in for a hug.
"All right. Let's finish putting the others-"
You couldn't finish your sentence when you two turned around and saw that the rest of the stockings had been ransacked through, some of them even with a couple of tears. You guys then witnessed a very angry cat perch itself on the top of the couch, daring you to say something.
"Ah come on Byeol! We worked really hard on them!" San complained but was met by a low hiss.
You giggled. "Come on. Let's just drink some hot chocolate and give snuggles to our child before she decides to tear up the Christmas tree."
❄𝓢𝓸𝓷𝓰 𝓜𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓲
Mingi hopped from one side of the stove to another, peering down at your task of slowly stirring the boiling pot in front of you. He turned his face, bringing it really close to yours.
"Is it ready yet?"
You sighed as he asked for the 6th time in less than 2 minutes.
"Mingi, I told you the hot chocolate will be ready soon." You repeated to him.
He whined and shook his shoulders slightly. Rolling your eyes, you handed him the spoon.
"Stir this for a bit. I'm gonna run down to the bathroom for a while."
Taking off your apron, you made a quick stop at the restroom. As soon as you came out, you head Mingi yelp from the kitchen. Quickly pulling out the first aid kit, you ran back to see what happened. Mingi's bottom lip quivered as he held out his hand.
"I accidentally burnt myself." He whimpered softly.
You tried to be as careful as possible while you rubbed ointment on the red patch on his skin and finished bandaging it up.
"There. All better?" You asked.
Mingi smiled shyly. "Can you kiss it to make the boo boo feel better?"
You giggled and tenderly kissed his hand. "You know you're such a dork..."
Leaning up, you pecked his lips.
"But you're my dork."
❄𝓙𝓾𝓷𝓰 𝓦𝓸𝓸𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓰
"Wooyoung. Press start now." You urged him.
"No! I'm not starting the movie until the popcorn is ready." He wouldn't budge.
"You won't miss much of it." You shook his arm.
"I am not starting a movie until all the required snacks are in place."
Right at that moment, the microwave beeped and Wooyoung quickly sped over to retrieve the popcorn. As soon as he set it down, he jumped back inside the pillow and blanket fort you two created, effectively tackling you down, making you groan and complain when he began adjusting around.
"Cuddle me! I wanna be the little spoon." He grabbed your arms and wrapped them around him.
You rolled your eyes but nonetheless cuddled up to Wooyoung as you started your Christmas movie marathon. Wooyoung would occasionally make you feed him popcorn or chocolate, or he'd end up throwing some at your face when you thought he'd feed you as well. He'd laugh every time you smacked his hand.
"Look baby! You're on tv!" He pointed to the screen when the Grinch came up.
"You're so annoying!" You exclaimed as you got up and let go of him.
Wooyoung wasn't having it though. He quickly pulled you back down and wrapped his legs around you, making you the little spoon this time.
"Come on baby. You know I'm kidding. I love you so much." He confessed as he attacked your cheek with kisses.

Jongho carefully patted some more snow onto the snowman you were currently building. You had gone inside to get a hat and scarf to wrap around it. When you came back out and notices how focused he was, you decided it'd be fun to mess with him. Picking up some snow, you made it into a tiny ball before throwing it at the back of his head.
"Hey!"
Jongho screeched as he turned around, but was met with another snowball to the face that you threw at him. You giggled at him as he stared at you unamused. He bent down and picked up a large handful of snow and began walking towards you. You let out a squeal and began running as fast as you could, trying to escape your boyfriend's revenge.
"Get back here Y/N!" He shouted from behind, a smile plastered on his face.
Jongho ended up discarding the snowball and instead tackled you down onto the snow before proceeding to roll you guys around on it. He ended up pining you down and both of you were giggling like crazy.
"Oh..." You stopped laughing and looked at the tree above you.
Jongho followed your gaze to see a mistletoe hanging by one of the branches right above you guys. He looked back at you and smiled softly.
"I mean.....it is tradition." He mused as he bent down to tenderly kiss your lips.

Kinda home for Christmas :)
Pairing: Tom Holland x danish!reader
Genre: fluff
Summary: reader can’t go home to Denmark for Christmas and feels a bit homesick so Tom arranges for his family to host a Danish Christmas so she can feel a bit at home :)
Word count: 2.1k
a/n: I hope you enjoy this. This is my first Tom Holland imagine and I decided to do a Christmas one in honour of Christmas just around the corner. I also tried to keep this as neutral as possible by not describing hair colour or skin colour even though ‘cause reader in the story is born and raised in Denmark which leaves room for the reader to have other ethnicities as well.
BACKSTORY!!!!! - I’m born and raised in Denmark and this will be containing a lot of Danish Christmas traditions such as celebrating Christmas on Christmas Eve, walking and singing around the tree and a lot of Danish cuisine. A lot will be explained in the story but you can always google some of the thing if you wanna know more about what I’m talking about.
That was all I had to say... happy reading ;))
_______________________
Reader’s POV:
Tom has always been a sweetheart. I know this and so do all his fans.
But this was just so sweet of him. He had noticed me feeling homesick when we neared December since i couldn’t go back home to Denmark and spend it with my own family so he called his mum, Nikki, and arranged for us to have a Danish Christmas at their house.
I was overjoyed and so happy until now, the 23rd of December, because i promised I would handle desserts and Nikki would handle the dinner and the rest herself.
I never realized how much work went into making just desserts. I’d prepared so much in advanced - gone shopping, asked my own mum for recipes and making sure we had all the tools needed in Tom and I’s kitchen.
Sighing as I looked at the recipe for “risalamande”, a Danish dessert you’d eat on Christmas Eve. It’s made of rice pudding put a lot of cut up almonds in and then only one whole almond in. The person that gets the whole almond wins the present a person has gone out to buy.
“Love? You good?“ Tom asked, walking into the kitchen and putting his arm around my waist and leaning his other arm on the counter, kissing my temple. “What does all of this say?“
“You wouldn’t be able read it ‘cause it’s in Danish, doofus“ I answered his second question and kissed his cheek in return. “I’m sorry I’m just a bit stressed ‘cause normally my mum would make all of this”
He looked at me with a sad smile. “If this is too much for you, darling, then I can just call my mum and tell her that”.
“No ,Tom! It’s honestly fine I’m just confused, that’s all.“ I answered and turned my body around to face him fully.
He looked at me with a raised eyebrow as if asking me if I was sure.
“I swear, Tom,“ I pecked his lips. “Maybe you wanna help? I could really use it.“ I winked at him and went in for a kiss.
He kissed back passionately and wrapped his arms firmly around my waist. No matter how long we have been together, his kisses still cause a storm of butterflies in my stomach.
I stopped the kiss before it could go further.
Tom looked at me with dazed eyes and I smiled cheekily at him, knowing that he would agree to anything if I kissed him like that.
“Yeah sure, Love.“
___________
Today was Christmas Eve.
Tom was driving with one hand on my thigh.
In the back of the car we had all the presents and the desserts.
Tom was driving extra careful to make sure that nothing would be ruined.
“I am looking really forward to tasting all of things you made, love.“ Tom said, not taking his eyes off the road.
“Didn’t you taste some of it while I was making them?“ I asked, glancing over at him.
“Uh, no! First of all you always asked me if I wanted help you but you kept slapping my hand away, love!“
I looked at him sheepishly. I knew this was true but he kept trying to taste it.
Oops, I guess.
“True, I did do that. What I am nervous about is how the reaction is gonna be from your family when they taste all of it ‘cause it is a bit of a certain taste and I don’t know if you brits are used to it.”
“I’m sure it all tastes fine! Stop doubting yourself so much.“ He asked as he tickled my thigh.
“Tom, stop! I swear to God I will hit you in the dick if you don’t stop right now!“ I threatened in between laugh and he stopped immediately.
“I’ll stop bot not because you threatened me and the on thing you and I both now you love so dearly“ he turned to me and winked and turned to look on the road. “But because we’re her now, darling.“
As he said the last bit, he turned into the driveway of his childhood home where his parents still reside.
They had all different kinds of outdoor decorations like lights, a snowman and a Santa Clause.’
Tom parked the car and we stepped out of the car.
Tom went and picked up everything needed to brought inside from.
We didn’t have to open the door since Dom, Tom’s father, stood in the doorway ready to greet us.
“Hiya dad. Good to see you again“ Tom greeted his dad first. “Wish I could hug you but we need to put these down first.“
He went on to go further into the house. Presumably into the kitchen to load off everything in his arms.
“Hi Dom! I can hug you unlike Tom over there.“ I said and went in for a hug.
“Oi! Is that Y/N?!“ A voice from inside the house called as Dom closed the door.
In came three boys also known as Harry, Sam and Paddy Holland.
“Eyyy, we guessed!“ Harry said.
“Welcome!” all three said in unison.
I laughed at them and went to hug them all individually.
“You guys practiced that ‘welcome’, didn’t you?” I asked them laughing.
“Pfft no!“
“Definitely not!“
“What made you think that?“
Tom then came back into the hallway we were at to take off his coat and shoes.
“Hello guys! Long time no see.“ He greeted them all.
I started taking off my scarf and shoes and Tom helped me take off my coat and hung it on the hooks while talking to the guys.
We all started conversing while walking to the kitchen.
“Y/N! You’re here!“ Nikki ran over to me in her apron and hugged me tightly.
“Good to see you too, Nikki.“ I released her from the hug and sniffed the air. “Oooh, something smells nice indeed in here!“
The smell was the duck cooking in the oven... and it smelled awfully like what my mum would cook back home.
“Thanks, hun’, I called your mother and asked for her recipe ‘cause I wanted to make you feel most at home.“
Nikki and my mum met a few months ago at Tom and I’s engagement party and they were instant friends.
Tom went over to wrap his arms around waist and pecked my cheek multiple times making me blush.
“Oi! Thomas please do keep your hands to yourself! Some of us intend to eat tonight.” Paddy teased him.
Tom and I gasped and released myself from Tom’s grasp and put my hand on my hip.
“Since when did you learn talk like that?“ I asked
“What she said.“ Tom added to the conversation.
“Since I had those guys,“ he pointed at his brothers “as brothers.“ he sassed.
“Oh, you little shi-“ Tom went after his youngest brother and gave him a good old noogie.
___________
Dinner was lovely.
We all laughed, talked and had drinks.
And then it was dessert time.
I kinda dreaded this like I told Tom earlier. I don’t think or know if you eat anything remotely close to risalamande.
Tom rested his hand on my thigh as the dessert was brought over.
“It’s gonna be fine. Stop doubting yourself too much.“ he quoted himself from earlier in the car so only I could hear.
“So, Y/N. D’you mind telling me, the obvious chef of the house,” Sam stops his sentence noticing a glare from Nikki. “Sorry mum it was a lovely dinner,“ he then adds and Nikki nods in appreciation. “But what is this Danish dessert you’ve made?“
“Well, Sam, this is risalamande which is traditional rice pudding mixed with whipped cream and chopped up almonds and only one whole almond which the person that gets it has to keep it them self so when we’re all done we have to guess who’s got the almond and the person that’s got the almond wins the present I have bought.” I finish.
“So it’s like a game?“ Tom asks.
“Yes indeed it is, honeybun.” Tom laughs loudly at the nickname. “But that is why it is quite quiet when we eat at home ‘cause we all concentrate on trying not to chew the almond.”
“Well,“ Dom starts. “Let’s get cracking then, shall we?”
Everyone nods in agreement and help themselves to a serving of it.
___________
The Holland’s Christmas tree was very pretty.
It ended up being Harry that won the game ‘cause we could all hear him accidentally chewing the almond that he apparently got.
The dessert was widely appreciated unlike what I thought.
“I told you, Y/N,“ Tom tuts at me while we’re upstairs changing into more comfortable clothes after eating so much food and dessert.
“I know you did“ I say while taking off my jeans and top, Tom looking at me with dark eyes.
“Darling, why are you wearing those?“ Tom asks, referring to the matching red, lacy bra and panties I’m wearing in honour of it being Christmas Eve.
“Don’t know what you’re talking about.“ I shrug innocently, fetching my Christmas pajamas from my suitcase.
“Oh, you know exactly what you’re doing, darling.“ he walks over and puts his hands in my hips, eyes still dark.
“What is it, Tommy?“ I smirk at him. “Is it something I’m wearing?“
“Do you know what you’re doing to me?” he asked, trailing his fingers up and down me waist making a shiver run down my spine.
“I don’t know... Care to show me?“
And, boy, he did just that.
His lips moving gently grazing over mine to give me a taste of what would happen.
It gradually started getting heated with three small pecks at first and then he pushed me against the wall and started passionately kissing me.
His teeth pulled at my lower lip, eliciting a soft moan from me making him smirk and continue to kiss me.
His tongue and my tongue moved against one another until a voice interrupted us before it could go any further.
“Umm, I know Dom and I always pester you guys with asking when you’re gonna give a grandchild but please don’t make one in our house.“ Nikki stood in the doorway with her arms crossed and a small smile playing on her lips. “You guys have your own to do that in.“ She laughs at Tom and I’s surprised expressions as she walks away again.
“Also, Y/N, you might wanna put some extra clothes on!“ she yells from down the hall making me blush so hard and Tom laugh.
___________
“What were you guys doing upstairs?” Harry asks teasingly.
“You already know, you dimwit!“ Tom says making all the boys laugh.
“What do we do now, Y/N” Dom redirects the conversation to what will happen now.
“Well now you’d walk around the tree hand in hand while singing Christmas hymns and carols.“ I tell them. “Usually you open the presents afterwards but I figured we could save that for tomorrow.“
“I’ve heard about that! It looks so fun.“ Paddy says and they nod in agreement.
I smile at him.
“It really is.“ I tell him. “Also because you don’t have to be a great singer to do it so you’re okay Tom.“
He turns his quickly to look at me with an exasperated expression coated on his face, eyebrows raised and mouth open.
“Oh, Y/N, you’re lucky I love you.“ He tells me and I just laugh along with the others.
“I know, Tommy,“ I take his hand in mine. “Love you too.“
“Enough with the sap let’s sing and walk around the Christmas tree.“ Harry says clapping his hands to gather us all.
___________
The festivities all ended around 10 pm and we all went to our bedrooms.
I was laying under the covers in the guest bedroom that used to be Tom’s bedroom when he was growing up.
Writing to my cousins and siblings and wishing them happy Christmas.
“What did you think of today, Tom?“ I yell out to him since he was in the ensuite that’s attached to his bedroom.
“I thought it was lovely,“ he says walking out the bathroom to the bedroom and turning off the lights, leaving the bedside lamps on. “Gave me a good insight on how you used to celebrate Christmas.“
He kisses my cheek as he positions himself under the covers.
“Yeah?“ I ask him.
“Yeah.“
I turn off the bedside lamp on my side and turn to face him, putting my hand on his cheek and gently stroking it with my thumb.
He wraps his arm around my waist to pull me flush against his naked chest to press a chaste kiss to my lips, letting it linger for a little while before mumbling “happy Christmas, my love.”
“Happy Christmas, Tommy. Love you.“
“Love you too.“ He answers, turning his bedside lamp off and kissing my forehead before we both fall asleep into each other’s arms.

Ssshh It’s Playtime
I am tired as heck and it was a struggle, but I did manage to do writing again for tonight’s prompt of Whispers/Kisses. Now, why is Elsa hiding??
"Why are you behind this curtain?"
Elsa startled at the sound of Olaf's voice and whipped around to face him, her finger to her lips. "Sshh! Olaf ssshh..." She checked the thick red curtain and drew it around herself and the little snowman. Once again she was concealed, even if it might look funny on the other side. She hoped not.
Olaf blinked and moved closer to the window. "Why are you behind this curtain?" he asked again in a whisper. It still seemed too loud. "And...why is there a pile of snowballs?"
Elsa looked at the pile and wished for a moment she was wearing something other than her old sky blue nightgown. If she had a cape to throw over the snowballs, Olaf wouldn't be in there asking questions. "Oh. You see...I have to get Anna back for making me freeze myself to the door earlier so I was going to throw these at her when she goes by." Her cheeks warmed. It felt silly to tell anyone what she was up to.
"Oh!" Olaf grinned. "That sounds fun! Can I help?" he asked, chuckling.
"Yes but- you have to be quiet," she whispered. "Like me. These old walls echo, after all." Anna may hear if she walked in alone. If she came in chatting, it would be easy, though she would be careful not to catch anyone else in the crossfire.
Olaf smiled and nodded. "Okay. I'll be quiet. They aren't hard packed are they?"
"Of course not! I'm going to mess with her, that's all. It'll be like being hit with fluff."
"Fluff," Olaf repeated in a whisper that was finally low enough. "Elsa...you know how I'm getting a little older and more mature?"
"Sure. Why?"
"I'm confused. The kids in town always play and sometimes I still join. But everyone else who is prehistoric - isn't that a cool word? - like you and Anna, doesn't do these things. Snowball fights and chasing each other around. You said your pillow fights aren't for me to join but I assume they're a game too. Is playing normal to do for your whole life?"
It was such an honest and surprising question that Elsa just stared for a moment. She hadn't expected Olaf to be the one to ask her something like that because he was always so carefree, but he was also trying to understand more. Elsa found herself unsure how to answer him, because her own answer would be biased, and rooted in the childhood she didn't have.
But then...she also didn't know what other families were like at home. Maybe some adults acted like her and Anna.
"Well Olaf, that's hard for me to answer. When I was younger I wanted to play with Anna every day, and she wanted to play with me. She had so much energy, and I was lonely, but we couldn't have fun with each other after the incident." She had wanted to ride the bike around the hall. She wanted to play with dolls in a giant dollhouse. It didn't matter that Anna made everything including the chaos causing dragons fall in love. Playing with her little sister had been fun and imaginative.
She was almost lost in thought, but Olaf tugged at her gown. "Elsa?"
"Oh!" She yelped and covered her mouth. "Oh, sorry," she said quieter. "Well...we never really got to play anymore. For years. And even though its been a few years since we were reunited, there's....there's so, so much to make up for. There's fun we never had, and fun to be had. Once Anna and I started to have fun and play all the games we never got to, I found I didn't want to stop. I hope we never stop. Maybe some grow out of it Olaf, but I'm not sure we ever will. And why should we, anyway?" she asked, looking at him for an answer.
"I thought...it's the responsible thing to do? But that doesn't make sense..." he answered her question with a question. "Gee, I guess there's no good answer for that, is there?"
Elsa shook her head, a smile on her lips. "Nope. I asked myself that when I began to settle in my new life, open about my powers. But then I was making ice rinks every week, creating stories and toys with my magic and even Anna was there being wowed." Anna's eyes had sparkled with wonder and Elsa was never tired of seeing that. That was another element she kept private - she loved how happy Anna was when she played. She was cute, she was bouncy, she made Elsa's heart beat stronger. "Anna and I started with throwing snowballs at each other and it just kept going. We get to prank each other and kid around like we couldn't before."
"It never ever seems weird no matter how much older you get?"
"No. When have our lives been anything other than weird anyway? I have a son that's a snowman," she said, fondly patting Olaf's cheek with a grin. "I wouldn't trade this odd life for anything."
Olaf chuckled and gazed up at her with fondness. "That's good, being traded would be a little strange."
"It would-oh!" Elsa heard a door open and she moved her hand over Olaf's mouth even though he wasn't talking. "I-oops, sorry," she hissed, pulling her hand back while he just shook her head. She listened carefully, to be sure it was Anna.
"And then- and then he just looked at me! Like that! With that one tooth half out of his mouth! I asked him if it hurt and he didn't answer that, but he did try to sell me his cow, which of course, I don't need." Anna's voice, talking to someone.
"Wow. I guess you'll think twice before you stop by that shop again." It was Kristoff's voice.
Kristoff! Oh, Elsa didn't even have to worry about crossfire. She reached behind her for one of her snowballs, rolling it in her hand as she shot Olaf a mischievous look. He reached a hand out and she gave him the snowball she held, picking up a fresh one.
"I don't know if it's even an actual shop. Nothing was priced, except for some dirty clothes which-HEY!" Anna shouted as a snowball clobbered her in the head, making her trip forward. She didn't go down, which was impressive in her royal green robes.
Elsa was susprised she was still in them, but she didn't stop. Her arm pulled back and another ball smacked Anna in the shoulder as she turned to look for the source of the attack. Olaf plucked off the arm with the snowball and held it in his other hand, swinging wildly to whip it at the two. Kristoff turned around just in time for it to hit him in the nose.
"Hey!" he shouted, wiping it off his face.
"Elsa!" Anna yelled, coming for the curtain. Elsa was half out of it with a smug look on her face. "Elsa I am coming for you and you won't like what happens!" Her face looked funny, as if she was trying to be angry and completely failing.
"Sounds serious!" Olaf said as he whipped another snowball at Anna's stomach.
"Olaf, you too?" she asked, picking up the pace.
"Yup!" he answered cheerfully.
Elsa giggled and threw another ball right at Anna's chest. "This is for earlier!" she said and then shrieked when Anna dove for her, hands out amd threatening. Elsa tried to escape but realized quickly that there was the wall, curtain, and Olaf and she had actually trapped herself.
Olaf darted away as soon as Elsa started to bump into him, another snowball armed and ready for Kristoff. It was too late for Elsa as Anna trapped her against the wall. Elsa tried to wiggle away but Anna had pressed herself against her giggling sister.
"You really think you could get away with this?" she asked, face close to Elsa's.
Elsa couldn't help herself, setting her hands on Anna's hips and then moving them around to her back. "I think yes. Yes I can," she told her as Anna's wet and mock-pissed face loomed closer. "I'm getting away with it right now," she told her, lips maybe an inch from Anna's.
In the background Elsa heard wild laughter and the sound of Kristoff getting hit with snow. Kristoff laughed too and Elsa could see out of the corner of her eye Kristoff chasing Olaf's rolling body parts down the hall.
"You're in your nightgown," Anna noted, hands on Elsa's waist.
"Mmm hmm. You know, if I really need to make this up to you, I can be in less than this..."
"I think you will be. Definitely," Anna said softly. Her lips closed the distance and she kissed Elsa ever so sweetly.
Elsa's eyes shut with contentment, kissing Anna back. She loved how she felt, loved her warmth. Then she noticed...they started so slowly, but she noticed...
A second later she was screaming with laughter as Anna's tickling fingers dug into her sides - and there was no escape.

Another side to Densimber’s Day 4 Prompt: Kensi’s First Time Undercover
Following the short thingy I wrote the other day for @densi-mber, here is a look at the aftermath of Kensi’s first undercover operation. This one is way lighter compared to Deeks’ story, where I might have gone a bit too dark, oops. I know it’s unlikely that both their first undercover ops took place around the holidays, but I wanted to keep these as Christmassy as I could.
When Kensi Blye had been offered a job at the NCIS Office of Special Projects, her first instinct had been to decline it. Knowing they specialized in undercover work, she didn’t see it as a good fit. After all, she had spent the latest many years of her life building walls around herself. A big part of that in response to the debacle in her engagement, but also, because she knew she was the type of person that always wore her heart on her sleeve. For some people, it was just easier to play a part and wear a façade, but that didn’t come as easy for Kensi, whom just preferred to protect her core through layers and layers of imaginary mortar and brick.
But the offer had come from Henrietta Lange, and Kensi, being one to never back down from a challenge and a competitor by nature, couldn’t say no to being recruited by one of the most powerful women in the game. She would just have to work harder until she could become the best at that particular part of the job, same as she had done when she decided to take on sniping and forensics.
Starting on the team, Kensi had felt like the new kid at school, eager to proof herself at the office, while she waited for the time until she could demonstrate her skills on the field. But most cases had gone to the senior agents of the team, two men that Kensi wasn’t yet familiar with, but from whom she always took the opportunity to learn from.
During her first week of work at OSP, Kensi had been told in no uncertain terms that most of her operations would involve having to seduce a bad guy and not necessarily fighting then. At the time, she had felt offended, but had quickly managed to taper down her emotions. She had known Hetty and Director Vance hadn’t been trying to be sexist or misogynist, but that it was just the nature of the job. Especially when she was the only woman on a team composed of a genius tech officer, an ex-Navy Seal and a man of many faces that had previously worked for the CIA. This unfortunate part of the job was only made bigger by the fact Kensi didn’t yet had a partner.
That’s also how she currently found herself alone at bar on Christmas morning after just finishing her first undercover operation.
A week ago the team had caught a new case, and Kensi had known it was finally her time to shine when Eric said the main suspect could most nights be found trying to pick up girls at a bar where he also conducted his side business in weapons dealing. Kensi had then dressed in a beautiful dress that accentuated her body in all the right places, along with tall, dark stilettos that only added to her grandiose. The following nights had been spent trying to get close to the man, without looking too eager or suspicious, and it all had come to a head the previous evening when their suspect had invited her to his apartment. Callen and Sam had been on overwatch the whole time and had come to her rescue when the man found her snooping in his bedroom. That brief moment of inexperience had won her a black eye, and a killer headache, but also the paperwork they needed to bring the man and his business down. So, all in all, her first undercover operation had been a success even when she realized she still had a lot to learn.
Joining NCIS to track your father’s murderer is one thing, but somehow ending up at its most elite office is a completely different beast, Kensi thought drily as she sipped on a glass of wine.
“Tough night?” The bartender’s soft voice drew Kensi away from her introspections, as she stared at him with tired eyes.
“I guess you could say that.” She agreed, signaling for another drink.
“Isn’t it a bit early for two glasses of wine?” He asked.
“I was awake all night.” Kensi offered as an explanation, not that she felt she needed one. It was her life and she was also sure she could find many other bars open and willing to offer the desired alcohol to anyone that felt that’s how they wanted to spend their December 25.
The bartender shrugged and refilled Kensi’s glass, most likely having reached her same conclusion.
Kensi thanked the man and slid some bills over the counter, before moving to a table at the back of the bar. One that was purposely located far away from the bartender, Kensi needed her quiet and wasn’t really a fan of overly chatty individuals. Especially ones she didn’t know.
Sighing to herself, Kensi continued to think back to the operation. Mentally nitpicking all her actions since the case had started, trying to come up with things she could have done better. Her mental journey had ended up on the memory of the three field agents arriving back to the mission, Sam and Callen congratulating her on a job well done, before both men had left the mission in the direction of wherever they had chosen to spend their holiday at. Kensi having wondered where that was and if any of them had a family, but whatever the answer to those questions, she knew they were spending their Christmas together. And secretly, she also wished they had invited her too. That’s what happens when you’re partnerless, Kensi told herself, hoping that Hetty would soon find an agent to team up with her.
Finishing her drink, Kensi decided to leave behind the last days’ events, remembering that as one of the first lessons she had been taught when starting in law enforcement. Exiting the bar, Kensi thought back to the case one last time, before leaving the memories of the bad guy and the bar he had frequented at this other bar which had helped her work through her feelings. She had preferred to do that with another living soul, but she couldn’t really talk case with strangers, so, for now, she was on her own.
Reaching her apartment, Kensi walked up the stairs, noticing the stark contrast between her bare door and her neighbor’s jolly wreaths on theirs, along with many adorned balconies. Getting inside, she winced to herself, remembering her home was equally unadorned, no red or green in sight, or Santa, reindeers, or snowman.
Feeling in no way festive, Kensi tried to ignore the significance of this day, both in what it meant for her personal history, and as the aftermath to her first undercover operation. Deciding instead that she was in the mood for some Titanic, regardless of the fact it was only noon on December 25. She just wished she had someone to watch the movie with. Just as she wished she had a partner to discuss the case with. The new NCIS OSP agent not knowing at the time that both wishes would one day come true in the same person.

A Silent Night pt2
A/N: What happens when 2 parts seem too long for tumblr? Break it up into 3 parts. This is a piece of part 1 and 2 and this became the official part 2 if that made any sense. Read Part 1 here
Word: 2574
--------------
Later that evening, after showering and putting on comfy clothes. The two of them sat on the couch watching tv whole both dogs rested by the cozy fireplace. With her cup of hot chocolate, she suddenly felt like she was living the winter aesthetic.
"I've been waiting on this all year. At the cabin, some Christmas lights, fireplace warming my feet, a cozy night with my—dog," Bucky answers suddenly sitting up straight as he trailed off.
She was so busy focused on an old Christmas episode of Bones she had missed his stumble and turns to him.
"Yeah. Nothing like a quiet time at home with your dog," she agrees.
"Though sometimes I miss having a cat purring on my lap. Something about a cat's purr that makes me melt," she responds as an afterthought.
"I'm surprised you haven't kept a cat for yourself. You really seem to love them," Buck replies noting how much she gushes about cats.
"Yeah…I just feel like my place is pouring my love into each baby to send them off on to a better place with a family. Maybe one day a cat will wiggle its way into my heart," she answers.
Bucky says nothing more but give a small hum of acknowledgment and enjoys the episode as Dr. Brennan uncovers the death of someone with an alias associated with Santa Clause and half the people teasingly believe Santa is dead.
At some point, he feels a weight followed by warmth on his side. Sure enough, she had fallen asleep. He glances around the room in thought on how he should move her to her room until he noticed something.
"Ari? Doll, wake up. It's snowing," Bucky shakes her gently watching her eyes flutter open and she sits up straight as if burned.
"I fell asleep, sorry. Wait what did you—”
"Snow, come look," Bucky said voice tinge with excitement which causes her to get up to go look. Sure enough from the large window she could see the snow falling down.
"Oh my god wow," she gasps as the steady fall of snow was drifting down before her eyes.
"Wanna go outside?" He asks her and they quickly look back to see the dog's ears perked and turned towards them.
"Dammit we can't say ‘outside’ around these dogs," She groans in realization and he chuckles.
"Just for a little bit," Bucky promises as they put on coats and proper shoes.
"Alright. Just for a little, then we warm by the fire," she answers and she opens the door to face the cold in order to run around in the snow like a child for the first time in a long time.
After a fun time running around and getting snowflakes in their hair, and getting Luca tired Aria and Bucky has a good night sleep. However, the next morning was a blanket of white that Aria was so eager to get to she could hardly contain her excitement.
“Could you at least enjoy the breakfast I made?” Bucky asks pretending to be exasperated by her eagerness.
“This French toast is a dream. But I wanna play in the snow,” she said excitement bubbling in her chest.
“You’re adorable, doll. You know that?” Bucky asks taking a sip of the coffee she brewed for them.
“Shush. Don’t tease me,” she remarks hearing him laugh at her expense.
Soon enough, after washing dishes, Aria puts on her winter gear to join Bucky with the dogs.
“Oh my god, look at Luca. He’s having a grand time,” she said watching the dog run through the snow. White dusted his black tipped fur making him look like a whole new dog.
Frodo was jumping, struggling to get through the wall of snow that was about as high as him.
“Baby…baby no,” she giggles as she wasn’t sure if she owned a dog or a rabbit as he hopped in the snow.
Suddenly she gets hit with a snowball making her yelp at the suddenness.
“James Buchanan Barnes!” She declares scooping up her own snow.
“Hehe, damn doll. My whole government name?” Bucky responds backing away reading himself for an onslaught of snow.
“You jerk. Get back here!” She attempts to move around and pelt him with snowballs giggling and screaming when he would hit her back with the snow.
By this time with all the running the dogs were excitedly running around them. Frodo being so low was able to trip her. In her effort not to fall on a dog she falls backward, snow cushioning her fall.
“Ari? You okay?” Bucky asks attempting to sound concerned through his laughter.
“Yeah yeah I’m fine,” she answers but makes no move to get up. Instead, she waves her arms and legs to make a snow angel.
“Need help?” Bucky asks approaching to hold out his hand
“Thanks,” she accepts it and gets pulled back on her feet. However, the fast momentum knocks her into his chest. Hands grip her upper arm to steady her.
“Oops. Sorry,” she said looking up at him only to catch his breathtaking blue eyes up close. They were like stormy grey that liked looking blue. Blue eyes high lighted by his dark hair and cheeks tinted red from the cold. Suddenly her cheeks were red for a different reason.
Before he could say anything she yells ‘your turn!’ Before pushing him firmly. His arms flail before falling on his back too.
“Doll, I’m wounded,” Bucky falls into the playful mocking tone of only to hide how off guard he was.
“Revenge for throwing that snowball while I wasn’t looking,” She cackles to hide her own flustered heart at being so close to him suddenly.
“Hey, Buck?” She asks as he attempts to brush off some of the snow.
“Yea?” He answers cautiously for any sudden snow fights.
“Wanna build a snowman?” She asks suggestively.
“Oh god. Not the Frozen thing,” he groans at the tone she used and she laughs.
“Oh yes. So, snowman?” She asks.
“Sure, let's try and get one to sit by the door,” he said and they get to work rolling some snow into a suitable snowman.
“Damn…I have nothing for this snowman,” Aria put the top on and Bucky had broken some branches for the arms but they had no nose or eyes or even a mouth.
“I still think it’s pretty good,” Bucky answers.
“You’re right. Thanks, Bucky,” she tells him.
“No problem. I don’t think I ever indulged in making a snowman. Not since I was a kid,” Bucky answers.
“Exactly. That’s why I was so eager. I had someone to share the experience with,” she answers and Bucky smiles.
“Now I want to experience getting warm by the fire,” he responds bringing the fun to a close.
“Yeah and—Bucky. Why do you not have a scarf? You gonna catch your death,” she remarks grabbing his gloved hand and pulling him inside.
“Frody, Come one! Lulu Veni!” She calls and both dogs paused in their play came running back.
“Wait a minute since—”
“I figured since you taught your dog Romanian commands I should attempt to learn in case something happens. I dunno, you let me watch him or check in on him if you’re running late,” she answers and opens the door, the dogs running to shake themselves off.
“Now get in here and warm up. Wished I had realized you had no scarf,” she adds in a huff.
“It’s okay. I had to deal with worse for longer in the force,” Bucky remarked recalling somewhat fondly the days he got his ass kicked in basic and struggling through some harsh conditions.
“Not on my watch. Now go on and get changed,” she tells him after starting up the gas fireplace.
The two of them go to change clothes and towel dry their hair before coming back down to put said clothes in the dryer.
“Oh god, it feels so good,” she groans shivering in delight at the warmth radiating from the fireplace.
“It was worth it,” Bucky answers with a chuckle
“I agree,” Sure they got their clothes soaked but the fun was worth the soggy clothes.
“Really Bucky. Thanks for all this, it’s only been a day but I’m having fun. I would have been home had you not invited me,” she tells him after reflecting on the thought.
“Of course. Anytime, doll,” Bucky answers unable to imagine going this year without her.
---------------------
“What? You serious?”
At the sound of Bucky’s voice, she perks up only to see him on the phone.
“Okay. Take it easy. See you soon,” Bucky then hangs up with a sigh.
“What’s wrong?” She asks him looking at his face carefully.
“So apparently a storm is coming in from their direction so the roads will be delayed. And with the cabins being so far from civilization there’s no telling when they’ll clear a path for us. Steve said he and everyone else hope to make it before Christmas,” Bucky explains a frown wrinkling his brow.
“Guess its just us for a little longer. I have to admit with only us here I can imagine I’m living the rich life,” she chuckles in an attempt to lighten the mood.
“Living with you in a big house isn’t a bad imagination,” he comments with a smirk.
“You and that shit-eating grin of yours. And here I was thinking being stuck with you wouldn’t be the worst thing to happen to me,” she rolls her eyes at his usual jokey and flirty tone.
“Hey it wasn’t a joke,” he pouts missing the good days where she blushes adorably.
“Oh wow the snow is falling again,” she remarks distracting herself by looking outside.
“It really will delay the others. Hope they can all make it. I want you to get the full experience of what it’s like here,” Bucky responds with a slight concern looking at the snow which wasn’t a gentle sprinkle but was falling rapidly.
“I’m already having a fun time thanks to you. So even if they don’t come till after Christmas then I’d still had a great time,” she said in order to assure him.
“Well, that’s good to hear,” Bucky responds with a soft smile, warmed on a different way than the fireplace.
It continued to snow and even though the temperature dropped the two of them would take shifts on letting the dogs out. Times like this is when Aria likes cats. Just scoop litter, tie it in a bag before placing it in the trash.
“So what’s for lunch?” He asks the scent wafting in his nose the moment he came back inside shuffling off his boots.
“Nice and hardy beef soup. Got some chunks of meat and some veggies. Figure I toast some bread and we could probably make a dinner out of this,” she answers.
“Oh wow. Is it about done?” He asks.
“Just about. I got to let it simmer and then toast the bread,” she answers stirring the pot.
“Oh. Be a dear and feed the boys, will you? I am surprised Frody didn’t pester us, he’s on a schedule and it’s a little past his usual mealtime,” she answers.
“You feed him three times?” Bucky asks realizing what time it was.
“Only because I’m home all day. I feed him 3 times in smaller portions. I mean if I taught classes on campus I’d be gone for most of the day so it would be the usual two. Once in the morning and the dinner,” she answers turning as the cabinet opens.
“That would explain the little bit in the bowls this morning,” Bucky remarks notice that while she fed both dogs it wasn’t nearly as much as he’s used to feeding Luca.
“Yep. I figured we put Lu on the same schedule just so he won’t get jealous of Frodo eating more often,” she answers as Bucky scoops some dog food.
“That’s a tad too much for Frodo, there,” she instructs him and then pats his arm.
“Good. Wash up a bed be amazed by lunch,” she adds smelling that everything was okay.
“This is good,” Bucky’s brows were raised when he took the first bite.
“Warms your bones doesn’t it?” She asks considering he went out to keep his dog exercised knowing a bored husky is a destructive husky.
“Yeah. I would have asked you to cook if I knew you made food this good,” he responds scooping up a spoonful of meat, potatoes and some veggies and shoving it all in his mouth.
“It’s an effort. I rather just order something or go out whenever we hang out. But I mean, this kitchen is a dream. It’s a shame not to cook in it,” she answers eyeballing the massive kitchen.
“You’re not wrong. Just glad to have this privilege of trying your food before everyone else,” he answers with a grin.
“Says the one who just made restaurant level French toast this morning,” She grumbles, ignoring that heart-stopping grin he flashed her.
“This is my favorite part,” she responds eating the meat and the broth soaked potato chucks together.
“You actually save the meat for last?” Bucky’s brows raised in shock for he only had a decent chunk or two left and to make it last he had to break the tender meat apart.
“Sometimes. I get excited and eat all my meat if I’m not careful. The veggies are good too…but the main attraction is the meat,” she answers honestly.
The soup was hardy and with the bread they were full. They make their way back to the couch. During the course of the day, they found themselves naturally touching. It started with sitting shoulder to shoulder when they had so much space on the many couches in the living room. Then it escalated to her resting her head on his shoulder, she felt so comfortable it didn’t bother her as much as she thought it would.
“Oh my god, Bucky. Look at this,” she said nudging him and handing over the phone.
“Are you trying to tell me something doll? You want kittens for Christmas?” Bucky asks as he watched the adorable video of a boyfriend surprising his girl with kittens.
“No—I mean I wouldn’t mind. But no, this is the video of Snowflake and Boots going home,” she said to him.
“Oh wow. They were gifts,” Bucky answers.
“Yeah. When the boyfriend picked them up I said to send me a video. I was so invested in this cute gesture,” she said and up till now, she’d forgotten to look for the video.
Nyoom
She jerks upright once the sound resonated in the room and suddenly the tv turns off.
“Shit,” Bucky hisses and both heads turns towards the window. It was still bright due to the vast white in the tall windows but it also showcased the ever-falling snow.
“It’s begun…” she remarks.
“Better turn the phones off to save battery,” Bucky responds.
She looks at her phone where it was already at 86%. She sighs unable to imagine not being on her phone. However, she knew it was for the best in case of an emergency so she turns it off.
“We should probably find flashlights or candles. It’s still day but it won’t be for long,” she suggests and the two hunt for whatever light source for the house.
