Thinking bout the parallels between the first and last episode and how Mabel/Dipper parallel Stan/Ford and how Dipper needs to trust Mabel to defeat the gnomes who are trying to force Mabel to become their wife/queen by pretending to agree to marry them. You know, the gnomes which have been flirting with Mabel and are ignoring her autonomy by insisting she must come with them because it's what they want. And how in the last episode Ford needs to trust Stan to defeat Bill which includes pretending to allow Bill to possess i.e. take over Ford's body (which totally can't have a sexual reading). You know, Bill who has been flirting with Ford and is ignoring his autonomy and trying to get Ford to join him (and get the equation) because that's what Bill wants. Which I'm sure doesn't have any implied subtext to it, nuh uh.

What are you thoughts of RPF? Do you think the drivers read fanfictions? I have this idea they read fanfics in they're free time and have fun with the ships

Honestly, I never considered I would like RPF... but Supernatural ruined that for me, haha. However, one thing is enjoying fanworks, and another is harassing the actors or RP about their personal lives (like hating their partners and such).

In F1 is the same, I take them as characters in the novela, but knowing is fiction and they have their own private life. As if I think they read fanfics, I like to imagine some of them do, and even enter ships' discourse, I categorize it like this:

Remember, my opinion only, but Alonso would totally write fics shipping himself with everyone.

Also, the rookies (Ollie, Kimi) read fics and enjoy the 'enemy to lovers' tag for the Mercedes/Ferrari/RBR/McLaren drivers.

Every time someone mentions Cabenovak I start to ponder the saddest scenario possible I can think of (because I simply can’t see the three of them ever ending up happy together, they’re too selfish and territorial for that) but my favorite is this:

- Alex is Olivia’s first everything; first girlfriend, first love, the first one she finally sees her future with

- Alex dies

- Olivia is obviously devastated, and here comes Casey Novak who reminds her a little bit of Alex but at the same time so, so different

- She holds onto those differences, and Casey begins to notice Olivia looking at her with hunger in her eyes. She folds

- One night, the name ‘Alex’ slips from Olivia’s mouth while Casey is three fingers in

- Casey knows she’s screwed when she finds that she doesn’t mind. She needs Olivia too much, and the weight of her sins for praying to God that her lover will someday be able to look at her without seeing another woman lays heavy on her soul

- And her prayers were answered. Because Olivia doesn’t look at her that way anymore. She doesn’t look at her at all.

- Because the great Alexandra Cabot is back. And Casey realizes, the woman whose shadow she lives in, is so, so incredibly beautiful

- Alex feels her attraction to Casey. This fiery young woman who challenges her icy nature. Somehow, she knows they were made for each other

- But she remembers Olivia, whose name once slipped out of her mouth during her time with a man that calls her Emily.

- And she is still so, so in love.

- In the safe house, Olivia and Alex find themselves in each other’s arms once more, though Olivia tries to stop and finally lets out, “Alex, this isn’t right.”

“What do you mean?” Alex asks.

“I can’t do this to Casey.”

Alex freezes. Her voice is small when she asks, “You couldn’t wait for me?”

Olivia sighs. “Alex, that’s not fair, I didn’t know when you would–”

“Please leave.”

- And then the trial happened, and during the entirety of it, Alex can’t keep her eyes off Casey. There is no animosity, only surprising adoration and admiration. Casey Novak had saved her life.

- And then Alex is gone once more.

- Casey is not surprised when Olivia’s number shows up on her phone screen, while she’s licking her wounds with a shot of whiskey.

- Their arrangement, for lack of a better word, continues, even when they keep arguing about cases in front of everyone to the point that nobody wants to get near them during their heated discussions. Casey knows this happens not only because Olivia blames her for Alex leaving, but also because Casey blames Olivia for Alex leaving the second time.

- Until Olivia goes too far and uses her trauma about Charlie against her. Casey finally realizes she deserves better treatment, and ends their arrangement. On the outside Olivia is like “yeah lol ok who cares” but on the inside “God, please don’t leave me too. Why does everybody keep leaving me”

- And then Casey gets suspended.

- Alexandra Cabot enters the stage once more. But she’s... Different. Even in a room full of ‘New York’s best detectives’, no one has asked if she’s alright. Not even Liv.

- And Alex is angry. Angry at the men who stole her life, at men in general for the law they have created that inconveniences victims, at herself for letting herself lose

- Then Elliot asks if she can check on Casey. (See: Puppydog by @iwoulddieforher )

- In the morning, while they eat breakfast together, Casey asks, “Are you okay?” Alex immediately bursts into tears. Casey holds her in her arms for hours.

- Their relationship begins.

- And now, the shadow Casey lives in transforms into the shape of Olivia Benson.

I'm gonna hold your hand while I say this - if you think an existing, loved and respected system for somthing should be changed because it could be confusing for new fans I do not think you are aware that you hold the power to literally research every information you get. You can spend literally 1 minute researching the rider and checking their championships on Wikipedia. It's not that hard. It's not much. It's not too much to ask.

When you get into a new sport or field, you will get confused at first. You will read information that was written for an audience already familiar with the subject. You cannot expect people, blogs, journalists, news papers, social media admins, to explain the absolute basics over and over and over again. It would be annoy for them and fans familiar with the subject. (and yes for you too after understanding the system)

Research comes with being interested in new stuff. It's normal. It's part of the learning progress. So do your fucking research. Ask fan who have been into it for longer. Respect the established way and do not demand a change because it's "confusing" just because you don't know how to use the internet and expect that everything is written so you can understand with little to no context.

That's not how this works.
